Everything is brand new, modern and incredibly well thought out. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is fantastic, surrounded by beautiful mountains, and the sunset was absolutely breathtaking. Everything felt easy, comfortable and perfectly designed. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back!

- The room had dust and mold in the bathroom sink - There was no door separating the restroom - The blankets were feather/down, which is a problem for anyone with allergy - There was no bed rail available for our young child - The room had no air conditioning. Reception told us the room only has a ventilation system that guests can't control (although hotel page says there is air conditioning!) - We noticed flies around the breakfast area each morning - More seriously, need to be aware the funicular doesn't run at night, so there's no way down the mountain in an emergency. - When we actually had an emergency, reception did not help us

Super mooie plek, geweldig uitzicht. Prima ontbijt, wel duur. Goede, moderne en grote kamers. Startpunt van super mooie wandeling (ridge trail is iedereen aan te raden). Hele fijne bar waar je in de avond nog een wijntje kon drinken. Fijne sfeer, handig in- en uitchecken. Gratis (bruis)water. Hele fijne plek voor tussenstop richting Italië!

Restaurant was prima, niet geweldig. Helaas geen zwembad. Parkeren kon onderaan de funicular, in het dorpje Schwyz. Dat was in eerste instantie niet erg duidelijk en kost extra geld.

Het ontbijt was uitstekend met verse producten en een ruime keuze. Het hotel is ruim opgezet en heeft aandacht voor de kleinste details. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en proactief. Het is enorm modern en gedigitaliseerd. Maar ook aangenaam van sfeer.

Alles wat we hebben ervaren was perfect.

Rauchgeruch in der tollen Bar, weil der Raucherbereich(Kabine) scheinbar nicht richtig dicht ist. Schade, für jemanden der empfindlich ist bei Qualm.

Clean, quiet, central

The bare bones approach. The whole DIY is a shame, it lacked customer service. We love customer service and businesses are moving away from that and we have no idea why. The hotel was lovely but it was devoid of feeling.

Nous n'avions malheureusement pas la meilleure vue. Un soir, nous avons dîner à l'hôtel et là je crois qu'il y a un très gros effort à faire.

Ich habe eine Suite anstatt ein Zimmer mit Bergsicht obere Etage erhalten (ein Upgrade erhalten). Wow! War sehr überrascht darüber. Eine meega Aussicht Richtung wunderschöne Bergen! Sauna, Jacuzzi, einfach alles war dabei.. Vielen Dank!!! :-)

Nous sommes arrivés vers midi, la chambre n'était pas prête, mais il y a un endroit accessible uniquement avec une carte magnétique pour déposer les bagages. L'accueil a été sympa, on nous a offert une boisson et nous avons été aidés pour faire le check-in. La literie est comfortable, la chambre moderne. Le buffet du petit déjeuner très riche et varié avec des produits locaux.

L'attention du personnel est fluctuant, au bar nous avons attendu un bon quart d'heure avant d'être considérés. Le restaurant est très décevant pour un hôtel de ce prix, cela ressemble à une cantine et la nourriture est moyenne. La sauce béarnaise sur le roastbeef était clairement industrielle, le roastbeef coupé très épais. Le buffet végétarien était minable. Le lit est placé du côté gauche à 30cm à peine du mur, il n'y a qu'une chaise dans la chambre. Il y avait une bouilloire, mais ni sachet de thé, ni tasse. 251.- pour une nuit me semble exagéré par rapport à l'offre, 200.- voir 220.- au grand maximum serait correct.

Lodge is right next to Stoos funicular & super convenient for activities in Stoos area. It is relatively new and rooms are clean and modern. Check in, Check out was super easy. Hotel works on paying for extra for services you want ie room cleaning, gym, breakfast etc. Adding services is easy and can be done from device in your room.

Very beautiful hotel located just outside the Stoosbahn funicular, making access super easy. I stayed in a room with a private sauna and jacuzzi, which was absolutely amazing. The view from the room was breathtaking — truly one of the highlights of my trip. I really enjoyed my stay and honestly wished I could have stayed longer, hopefully next time. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the food at the property was really tasty as well. Overall, a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this hotel.

There really should be at least tea or coffee maker in room. Never been in room where they don't have that. We had to buy tea for 6 francs. Especially as the location is secluded. No shops about.

Hôtel à la fois moderne et chaleureux, les chambres sont propres et fonctionnelles tout en offrant un vue incroyable sur la montagne. Très silencieux, l'absence de voitures dans le village y contribue forcément, on entend uniquement le bruit des vaches ce qui apporte encore un peu plus de magie au lieu !

Le petit déjeuner mériterait peut-être des produits d'une gamme supérieure, en revanche les plats du restaurant sont bons!

Es hatte alles ein wenig den Charakter von Massenabfertigung, aber schon O.K. Die Einrichtung war modern und sauber, so ein Mischung aus Ikea und besserer Jugendherberge.

Location, location, location! This lodge is located right as you exit Stoosbahn mountain station. It is very convenient if you are traveling with a suitcase and have plans to hike the stunning Stoos Ridge trail. It is a rather new modern mountain lodge hotel that offered self service secure luggage storage space until we could check in around 3:30. It has a cute indoor play area for kids and other wellness amenities that unfortunately we did not get to enjoy. It has a nice cafeteria type restaurant. We had to order take away to eat in our room because we arrived for dinner just before the restaurant close. Our experience may not be the vacationers standard. We had an unexpected extra looooong hike that derailed our hotel plans. The Stoos Ridge hike was a wonderful experience but we missed the last gondola down the mountain by :15. Our Bad. However, info for options to get down the mountain another way was no where to be found. There is another restaurant right near the tram that was also slimmed staffed and we asked but they didn't know any options but to hike down. So we went ahead with hiking in hopes we would get down before dark. We followed the trail signs to Stoos; however, we must have taken the longest way down the mountain possible. We ended up taking a steep journey down a rocky path past road construction, then through some cow pastures with sketchy signage and eventually onto a windy steep dirt road which we could see Stoos below. As a result, we arrived back to the hotel just minutes before the restaurant closed and were too tired and too late to use the wellness amenities or sip wine as we had hoped. The hotel has a nice outdoor seating dining area too which we enjoyed the following morning. Our room was nice/basic and it had a pull out couch - perfect for my daughter and I to have our own beds. The shower was newish, had nice water pressure and plenty of cool and hot water. The room had no complimentary water, etc.

It has very little reception staff and we missed a personal Swiss welcome. This lodge features a self check in and out system via a computer where you activate your keys on your own keys and have to figure out where your room is. (I guess this makes sense because we found that a lot of Swiss restaurants and hotels during the high season were short on staff and this is a more remote location which probably makes it harder to staff.). The bathroom doesn't have a door and the bathroom wall that adjoins the room is designed with open slatted wood so it is not very private. The bath towels are also very basic and not 4 star fluffy.

The food was excellent. The beds were comfortable.

The A/C didn’t work and they did not offer a fan.

Location, cleanliness

Too many screaming kids— sitting in the common areas often felt like sitting in an airport terminal. They nickel and dime for everything. Even normal things that a hotel would provide like a kettle costs extra here. The laundry service is excessively expensive.

Zweckmäßig, gut ausgestattete Zimmer. Schönes Morgenbuffet. Nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in der Umgebung.

Spacious room with an amazing view! Felt like a real getaway. Restaurant breakfast was very good value for money and super yummy.

Restaurant dinner could be a bit more refined. However still yummy.

Die Ausgangslage für Bergtouren war gut, das Frühstück war ok. Der Angestellte beim Check-in war sehr nett.

Ich finde es sehr unpersönlich, dass man am Buffet alles selber holen muss, dass nicht einmal ein Kaffee serviert wird. Das Lokal wirkt sehr kalt, durch die Klimaanlage, kein Personal, das sich kümmert, keine Tischsets auf dem Tisch, alles sehr unpersönlich. Am Abend war es sehr laut, da mein Zimmer direkt über dem Stoosplatz lag. Dass man in einem Viersternhotel für ein Self-check-in aufgefordert wird, finde ich auch sehr unpersönlich. Es gibt dem Gast das Gefühl, dass Personal gespart werden muss - klar, man konnte sich an der nach hinten versetzten Desk auch von einer Person einchecken lassen..... und das Beste war, dass man für ein Zimmer (Einzelbelegung) CHF 200 zahlt und man für die Zimmerreinigung zusätzlich noch CHF 30 bezahlen müsste. Das finde ich ehrlich gesagt komplett daneben. Und zu guter Letzt gab es nicht einmal ein Vanity-Set auf dem Zimmer. Für eine Bodylotion nach dem duschen, musste ich separat anfragen.

Loved how clean and spacious our room felt. Temperature was pleasant. Our room was also very quiet, and we liked all the "high tech" features of the room and hotel in general.

We wish we would have had a proper bed rail for the bed, as my 6 year old daughter fell off the bed by rolling over the small pillow they gave us as a bed rail.

Amazing location ! Make sure you don’t forget anything in your car or you pay to go up and down. Great breakfast, sauna and cold plunge. Perfect location for stood ridge hike. Started at 9 , first on mountain and back to shower and check out by noon . Highly recommend! Also very nice rooms and get a balcony for the views and to watch the cows

Die Lage war perfekt, direkt an der Gondel! Frühstück war sehr lecker und das Zimmer war auch super. Personal war super freundlich egal wo!

Alles extra zahlen: von Wasserkocher über Fitnessstudio bis zur Sauna. Es ist wenig inklusive und das macht es am Ende sehr teuer.

I asked the front desk to fix the non-working AC for two days and they never repaired the AC during the heat wave. Terribly warm in the room.

Evening food and atmosphere not exceptional. Terrace closed as it had rained before. Had to pay the tap water.

We couldn’t have been more comfortable and every single small detail was well thought out here. When we first got in we rented bikes directly from the hotel and cruised all around the small village. Our room smelled of fresh cut wood and you could hear beautiful cow bells in the distance. And the spread at breakfast was so full and rich with options. And they stored our luggage so easily as we went hiking! I would 100% stay here again! Loved it!!!

We loved our stay here. A very clean, comfortable, and friendly environment that made our stay in Stoos so memorable. We loved the view of the mountains and the wooden chapel directly from our room. Thank you so much!

Loved how clean the rooms were. The huge bathrooms and the comfortable beds. The location could not have been better and the checking in and out was smooth and easy.

Non of us like the food. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel. It was pricy and rather tasteless and small portions and not many options at all (same lunch as dinner menu). The dinner was, let put it this way not quiet at all. I was there with older kids (youngest 11) but there were so many families with small children that even my kids said, ok we leave now. So I do not recommend this for just couples unless you eat at your room or at the bar. The bar was really nice, quiet and with great view.

Gutes Hotel für Familien sehr geeignet. Im Restaurant sehr gut ausgestattet für Kleinkinder. Tolle Lage als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Neues Hotel, sauber.

Für jedes vieles muss man extra zahlen, habe für einen Wasserkocher extra 5 Franken gezahlt, der schlussendlich gar nicht auf dem Zimmer war. Zimmer hatte keinen Kühlschrank wie die Eckzimmer.

The room was clean, and very quiet. There were a ton of families, but you couldn’t really hear much through the walls once in your room.

I booked this hotel specifically because it offered air conditioning. (I have a very hard time sleeping in the heat). The air conditioning doesn’t work at all. It allows you to “set” the temp to 16c, but the fan is stuck to auto or low, and barely moves any air. I spoke to the front desk, and he assured me it was on and working. Frankly, it’s bait and switch. The temp stayed around 27c the whole time, we had to go out and buy a small fan. Also, the sliding glass doors for the bathroom offer no privacy, and the hotel has a composting area in a building next door which makes most of the town smell terrible. I’m honestly surprised by all the positive reviews. Stoos is a beautiful town, but better visited for the day.

The hotel is modern and stylish (Neubau). There’re 3 types of free potable water on the floor (without gas, sparkling, and super cold). There’s a restaurant and a bar on the ground floor. The location is superb - close to the cable cars to Klingenstock and Fronalpstock.

I wish there was a cattle to boil water in the room.
