The Z Hotel Trafalgar

Frühstück war ausreichend, Müsli, Wurst, Käse, Sandwiches gewärmt, div. Kaffeearten - passend für den Start in den Tag. Da wir AI gebucht haben, war die kleine aber feine Speisekarte durchaus ausreichend, um satt zu werden - Salat, Pizza, Käseteller u.s.w. dürfte rund um die Uhr erhältlich sein, dies haben wir allerdings nicht ausprobiert. Als Highlight muss die zentrale Lage erwähnt werden - innerhalb weniger Minuten ist man beim Trafalgar Square, Big Ben und London Eye sind in weiteren, wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Da wir gut zu Fuß sind, haben wir an die 30.000 Schritte/Tag abgespult und alles fußläufig erreicht - London Bridge, Tower, Big Ben, Hyde Park, Chinatown und was weiß ich noch alles...

Dass die Größe des Zimmers gewöhnungsbedürftig ist, sollte kurz erwähnt werden. Ein paar m² für zwei Personen - sehr limitiert. Leider haben uns passende Ablagen z.B. für das Trocknen der Badetücher gefehlt, aber mit ein bisschen Improvisationstalent war auch dies Hürde zu bewerkstelligen.

Ruhig gelegen obwohl mitten in der Stadt, Zimmer funktional. Es hat alles was man braucht.

The location is perfect for central London

The bed was like sleeping on concrete. It was a compact room as you would expect for this type of of hotel, but the bathroom door was broken, was really heavy and difficult to slide, my daughter got trapped in the bathroom as it came off its runners. I managed to lift it back into place. The shower head needed descaling. The sink look like it needed a good scrub. Lots of the decors looked knocked and tired.

Literally the worst night I've spent in a hotel. The aircon blew warm air when set to 19 degrees, and there was no fresh air whatsoever being vented into the room (and no window). It was utterly unbearable, and incredibly unhealthy.

The hotel offered me what they promised, which is not happening often.

The location is superb; the staff were professional and very friendly, but more than that, very helpful and friendly. I have stayed at Z Hotels for several years now and find them excellent. They offer just what you need for a central London stay. If I wanted more room or a fridge, I would go elsewhere. The rooms are exceptionally clean, the shower is perfect, the TV and internet are better than at some 4-star hotels and the coffee service, which is free and available 24 hours, is just right. If I could invest in them, I would. Outstanding. Ursulal

Very excellent location super central not loud at all. Our Airbnb got cancelled last min so we had to book this place last minute which made it more expensive. But I would definitely come back again. Super clean doesn’t feel gross or grimy. Excellent staff. Very clean, nice AC, good WiFi I would 100% come back and stay in this location. If ur second guessing to go to this place like I did. Don’t. It’s definitely worth it

The walls were a little dirty. But they were from suitcases being held up against them. And it would be nice to have more towels available at once in too instead of asking for them

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und alles ist schnell erreichbar. Auch empfand ich die Sauberkeit absolut in Ordnung.

Die Zimmer sind noch kleiner als die Bilder vermuten lassen. Alleine für ein Wochenende mag es ok sein, aber zu zweit oder für mehrere Tage ungeeignet. Die Betten sind absolut unbequem und die riesengroßen Decken viel zu schwer. Selbst Tage später habe ich noch am ganzen Körper Schmerzen. Am schlimmsten finde ich aber tatsächlich, dass das Z Hotel und ich eine komplett unterschiedliche Vorstellung von "all inclusive" haben. Ich habe extra das extrem teure Zimmer gebucht, weil "all inclusive " bedeutet, dass Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen dabei ist. Lustigerweise gab es ausschließlich Frühstück, ein extrem teures Frühstück. Ich werde nie wieder ein Z Hotel buchen und kann es wirklich nicht empfehlen.

Ottima posizione anche per la vicinanza di PUB per una birra serale, caffetterie per colazione e locali per tutti i gusti per cenare. Location sostenibile: cambio e pulizie a giorni alterni, ma disponibili più spesso su richiesta. Acqua, the e caffè gratuiti a disposizione. Camera ben strutturata seppur piccola e con spazi ben sfruttati. Pareti el bagno con vetri satinati: a me piace, ma un pochino trasparenti, dipende come si viaggia) Personale cordiale e disponibile in ogni momento.

Lovely but very compact rooms. Staff were very friendly free food and drink including in my club room were a plus! Clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable.

I was allowed to have a bottle of Prosecco downstairs but I wasn’t allowed to take the bottle to my room and I have no idea why as the staff member couldn’t give me and explanation. Was allowed bottled beers etc and to take drinks and food up. Breakfast options aren’t amazing, a cooked breakfast would’ve been fabulous.

We extended an extra night which was no issue for the staff whatsoever I’m very grateful for that. However our room had been cleaned but then bedsheets hadn’t been changed which I wasn’t to pleased about

Excellent location - 2 minute walk from Charing Cross and 5 minute walk from Embankment Stations. Close walk to shops/theatres too. Room was clean, very small but fine for how long we were in there. Facilities excellent.

I added breakfast for 2 days on to my booking upon arrival for £28 but wish I hadn't - there wasn't much choice other than a pre-made paninis that were heated and small boxes of cereal. I had a croissant and heated panini the first morning and didn't really enjoy them as they had been out on display and not covered. I didn't bother with breakfast the second morning so a waste of money. There are plenty of nice little bistros in the area you can go for cheaper.

The pillar in the middle of the room made movement more difficult especially as I was on crutches. I didn't mind the lack of window but it did mean we slept in as I hadn't set an alarm and normally the light from a window would have woken me up

Location (West End). The primary goal of my stay was to attend theatre performances and the venues were all at walking distance. Small room but good bed and bathroom.

The air conditioning did not work properly. I tried to change the temperature setting (fixed at 22oC) without success. I told the reception but they did nothing about it. London was undergoing its 3rd heat wave and I did not sleep well because the room was too warm. The room was quite expensive for its size in a 3 star hotel (without breakfast) so I would have expected better infrastructure.

Small, compact room with all the facilities needed and free Wi-Fi. Excellent location in the very heart of London, between Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square. Personel was very reactive when I told them of a problem with the blind in my room and had it fixed during the day. Would go here again, as it's perfect for a 2-3 days trip in the capital.

I recently stayed at this hotel in a windowless room. While I was aware of the room type upon booking, the experience was unfortunately marred by a few major comfort and maintenance issues: ​Ventilation & Odors: Since the room has no windows, proper airflow is crucial. Unfortunately, the ventilation system is inadequate and seems to operate only when someone is inside the room, which is not enough to clear out normal daily odors effectively. ​Noise from Ventilation: Compounding the ventilation issue, the system itself is quite loud. Guests who are sensitive to noise will likely find it bothersome. ​Excessive Light at Night: There is a very bright green LED light in the room (presumably an emergency light). It emits so much light that the room remains uncomfortably bright even when all the lights are switched off. ​Severe Plumbing Noise & Poor Staff Response: This was the most disruptive issue. Every time the guests in the neighboring room used their shower, it generated a loud, siren-like noise that woke me up twice during my final night. When I reported this to the front desk receptionist, she didn't seem surprised at all and suggested I turn off the ventilation as a solution for the noise—completely ignoring the fact that the room has no windows and already suffered from stale odors upon arrival. Instead, she offered ear plugs and a late check-out, which in my opinion does not make up for a broken night's sleep, though I was too exhausted to argue further. I have a video of it but can't share it here. ​Overall, due to these sleep-disrupting issues, I cannot recommend this specific room.

Väldigt varierande service från personalen, de flesta hälsade knappt/tittade upp när man gick förbi den väldigt lilla receptionen (vilket jag tycker är basen för gott uppförande i vilket serviceyrke som helst) Butter ton vid incheckning som kändes tråkigt som start. Väldigt trevlig o tillmötesgående tjej som tipsade om medlemskap o bjöd på latte (vilket hon inte hade behövt) Smidig o trevlig utcheckning o hjälp med bagaget över dagen.

Perfect location but can be noisy outside. Great bar and breakfast. However cleanliness……worst hotel. I was made to go to the cupboard find sheets and towels and make up my own room. First I was told departure rooms done first before 3 then mine would be done. Come back at 4 and advised no. Gets cleaned every 2 days. I asked for a room change and/or refund but categorically told No So if you’re ok with poor cleanliness then come here. I did try talk to the manager but couldn’t

Super hotel , v super lokalite, v pešej dostupnosti boli všetky hlavné pamiatky a uličky. Personál bol super a všetci boli ochotní. Izba bola ako na fotkách, čistá, uprataná.

V izbe bolo trochu menej priestoru, ale chodili sme tam len prespávať, takže nám to až tak veľmi nevadilo. Keby tam bola nejaká polička alebo skrinka na odkladanie vecí , bolo by to super .

Our room did not have a window and small - it was like playing a game of tetris while we were in it. The other rooms were either bigger or had a window and the family members in it were very happy with their rooms.
