Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Le calme (surtout une fois que tout le monde soit redescendu) et la chance d’avoir la vue sur le lac! Tout est parfait. Les repas dans la magnifique salle d’époque du Pilatus Kulm (au fait les deux établissements n’en sont qu’un car la réception est partagée et on rejoins l’un et l’autre soit par l’extérieur, pour ne pas louper une minute de panorama, soit par un couloir interne pratique) Et cuisine délicieuse.

Including directions and addresses of the cable car and the cogwheel train would be very helpful. Because we are from another country, we struggled to find where we had to go.

Kein Pool, Merkwürdig finde ich, dass das Pilatus-Wasser im Hotelzimmer gratis aus dem Wasserhahn kommt und im Restaurant 75cl nur 7,50 kosten

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026The location is absolutely stunning. The staff on reception and in the dining areas were very friendly and helpful. Staying in the hotel really was the best way to experience the mountain.
When we got to reception we were informed that, as we were staying two nights, we could get complimentary passes for the cable car or cogwheel train for our second day. This was a great perk, but it would have been good to know about this ahead of time. Additionally, hotel guests are entitled to a 30% discount to get up and down the mountain, but this doesn't appear to apply on pre-booked passes - it would have been good to receive a discount code at booking to allow us to get the discount ahead of time.

Nemám co vytknout, jen možná tip - když už se muže se psy, což je perfektní, tak vytvořit nějaké místo pro venčení. Tam, kde je tráva jsou velmi strmé svahy, což není pro psa ideální.

Reviewed May 11, 2026Un emplacement exceptionnel. Le calme du site, une fois la télécabine fermée est très appréciable. Les bouquetins qui viennent à quelques mètres ... Le repas du soir est du niveau d'un semi gastronomique et très correct. L'accueil est bienveillant.
Un détail concernant les oreillers trop volumineux. Il est souvent proposé 2 typologie d'oreillers dans les hôtels pour cette raison.

Although we went in May it was still snowing and very misty. Could not see anything around the place. All the trails/hikes were closed. But it is not a mistake of the property we have to accept the weather.

Reviewed Nov 5, 2024I went in Oct and trip advisor suggested I was taking a risk as weather could be bad. I wanted to experience being above the clouds and or view of town from the mountain. I took the risk and it totally paid off. The view of mountain peaks sticking up in blanket of clouds was amazing. Although, you can do a day trip but you would miss the sunrise and sunset experience from the top. The dinner as well as the view from my room was amazing as well.
I don't have anything negative to say. The only suggestion I can make is the path leading from Bellevue to Pilatus kulm hotel (where dinner and breakfast is served) can be better lit up at night. It felt little dark walking there at night after dinner.

Reviewed Oct 7, 2022Very good choice available at breakfast, and the four course included dinner was excellent. A set menu, with limited choices, but they were sufficient. The beef main course available on the second night menu was exceptional. The waiting staff are friendly and attentive, as was reception. The views when the weather cleared were stunning.
The weather !! It was cloudy and misty quite a bit of the time, so we could not see the spectacular views all day. (But we did see them for a few hours.)
