Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Kurt - the Owner is a Super guy - a thorough hospitality professional (I know, being from hospitality myself). He not only picked me up & dropped me to the station, as I was carrying a large Suitcase & had an injured wrist, but also carried my big Suitcase all the way to the room & down. The Breakfast was very wholesome.
The location, at least my room, was facing a main road, wherein there was some noise, but the big spoiler was the CLOCK across the street, which would chime after every hour all through the night. It's only for this reason that I took away One start, else a perfect place. (Booking.com raised the price of the room by 5 francs/night, which was not appreciated)

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Die Ruhe und das alles so schlicht und doch gemütlich war. Und das es einen Ventilator im Zimmer gab, da sich die Zimmer doch recht auf heizen im Sommer. 😀
Den Stöpsel der Badewanne im zweiten Stock dichtete nicht richtig ab. Mann konnte also nicht wirklich ein Bad nehmen

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Der Inhaber des Hotels ist sehr nett. Das Zimmer, wie auf den Bildern beschrieben..Im Zimmer.alles was man braucht. Sehr sauber. Das Frühstück super fein. Von den Brötchen, Yoghurts, Käse, Aufschnitt und Müesli alles da und.frisch. Vielen Dank für Ihre Gastfreundschaft.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Mein Zimmer im 2. Stock lag in zentraler, leicht erhöhter Lage in einer 30er-Zone. Es war sehr ruhig, sodass ich ausgezeichnet schlafen konnte. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch die freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Snídaně byla ve srovnání s jinými hotely spíše chudší, ale dostatečná. Hotel má vlastní parkoviště, je kousek od dálnice, blízko jezera a autobusové zastávky.
V hotelu chybí klimatizace, což je v létě nepříjemné. Pokoje v přízemní přístavbě mají okna na hotelové parkoviště. Okna nemají ani síťku proti hmyzu, ani mříž v okně, takže se člověk bojí že mu někdo v noci vleze do pokoje když je otevřené okno. Wifi byla v některých časech nepoužitelná, extrémně pomalá až nefunkční.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026I am very happy with my stay at Glärnisch Hof. The people who run it are lovely, everything is very clean, and the breakfast included in the price is very varied and freshly baked.
Perhaps something that could be improved (at least in the room where I stayed) is the lighting situation. Sunrise was at 5:30 when I was there, and coming from a country where it's customary to have blinds, blackout curtains could be very beneficial for those who struggle to sleep with sunlight coming in.

The breakfast was very good with fresh frui5 , yougurt , cheese, very plentiful! It is moderatwly priced , considering the fact that you are in Switzerland You can use the bus , if you time your journey carefully!
I had problems with the Wifi, but the other guests didn't... so it might be my fault...

Reviewed Jan 7, 2026Die Lage war für uns perfekt, da wir in Horgen bei Freunden den Silvesterabend verbrachten und am Schluss zu Fuss zur Unterkunft zurückgehen konnten. Das Frühstück war gut. Wir hatten vorab gemeldet, dass wir nicht zu viel essen werden, weil wir am Neujahrstag zu einem Brunch eingeladen seien.
Nichts, es hat für unsere Bedürfnisse bestens gepasst.

Es ist zu kahl eingerichtet. Es fehlen kleine Details um sich heimelig zu fühlen. Z.B kleines Bild an der Wand aufhängen, oder eine schöne Plastikblume auf dem Nachtisch.
