La camera in se era molto bella, con una bella vista, la posizione buona e la colazione ottima. Le ragazze dello staff molto gentili e disponibili.

Purtroppo il contesto era fatiscente: per accedere al resort si passa per un vicoletto con cacche di cane e fogna a cielo aperto. Alcune persone hanno sprangate il cancello di accesso per liti tra vicini. C'erano grossi topi che giravano, la stanza era piena di zanzare (il letto aveva una sorta di zanzariera che non lo copriva del tutto, rendendo scomodo dormire e non risolvendo il problema zanzare) e si sentiva tutto dalle altre stanze e dalla reception.

The bungalow was beautiful and so peaceful but still close enough to the main town.

The entrance to the bungalows was shocking. It smelt awful and the footpath was terrible. it let down the hotel a lot!! Additionally, we asked for our room to be cleaned in the morning, and when we got back to our room, my partners AirPods were missing. We traced the AirPods and it let us to the hotel reception and once asked if they took the AirPods from our room, they laughed, said sorry and gave it back. Not what you expect to happen at such a high rated hotel!!

We stayed at a double room with garden view. The beach front view is really good

Going to the property from street level, there are two flights of wooden stairs leading to the property level. On the way to the property, there is an open sewer which stank. At night I've seen cat-sized rat roaming the property! We opted for a double room with garden view at €144/night. One would be forgiven to assume that at this price point breakfast would be free. For us, it was not. Disappointing to say the least

The staff and ocean view

We had an overall decent stay at Maligaya Beach Bungalow. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided goid service throughout our visit. The location is good, although the entrance to the hotel is along a narrow and somewhat dirty road with unpleasant-smelling water and roosters crowing frequently. Also lots of ants and several brown outs during our stay. Our main issue was with the laundry service offered by the hotel. We used it twice, and several items were returned discolored, with brown stains and a noticeably darker color. We reported the problem the evening before our departure. The hotel attempted to help, but only two machine-washable items could be rewashed due to time constraints. Several linen garments remained affected, and we still do not know whether they can be restored or if they are permanently damaged. What disappointed us most was the handling of the situation. The hotel was reluctant to take responsibility, arguing that the laundry provider was at fault. Since the laundry service is offered through the hotel, we believe the responsibility ultimately lies with them. We suggested a simple solution: removing the laundry charges from our bill. Unfortunately, this was rejected. Later, the manager offered a 50% discount on the laundry, but we were told this would be deducted from the employees' salaries, which we found unacceptable. In addition, the clothes that were supposed to be rewashed were not returned by our agreed departure time. After several phone calls and delays, they finally arrived wet, making us late for the airport. We spent 5 nights there and with possible damaged clothes, and the owner still fought about the remaining laundry bill of approx 10 $,

The bed was reasonably comfortable and the breakfast was good

First off is the access to the property going down uneven steep steps some up to 18 inches tall with no handrail. My knees were in decent shape having recovered from a minor surgery several months before with lots of exercise. Unfortunately these stairs damaged both my knees enough to affect the rest of the month in the Philippines. The sewage smells walking on the uneven path to the property after the stairs was a bit rich for a first impression. The room was constructed of the cheapest materials and it took me 4 days to get them to fix the only door into the room so that it could open without a lot of effort. The shower floor sharing the space with the bathroom sink was something I would expect from a hotel that’s more than half the price. Beachfront is really a poor description with the closest swim able beach 5 miles away. I have never given any property booked on Booking.com such a poor rating.

Très bel hôtel, les chambres donnent sur la mer sont spacieuses, propres et joliment décorées. Le personnel est très aimable, nous avons même pu nous doucher le jour de notre départ après une excursion

Le logement était propre et les chambres plutôt grandes.

Nous avons été envahit par des termites volantes une nuit, sans que nous puissions rien faire. Elles se sont multipliés par milliers dans la chambre. Le personnel n’a rien pu faire.

The location was perfect, on the beach and tucked away. It was very quiet and the staff were always helpful. The air conditioning worked so well, our room was cold, exactly how we like it!

We had a trail of ants that kept getting in and dragging sand along the front of the room.

The resort was great, our room was perfect, spacious & clean. The staff were very accommodating & helpful. The hotel was well situated for all the boat tours, being just a short beach walk away from the area where the boats left from - very convenient. The sunset views are great!

The beach was not great in front of the hotel. You have to travel to other beaches. And the entrance alley way to the hotel has an open sewer running along it which doesn’t smell great as you approach the hotel from the road.

Prijs is erg hoog, je betaalt voor de locatie vermoed ik. Maar de locatie was nou ook weer niet zó geweldig.

The rooms are beautiful. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly and professional. The situation is just a few minutes to the city center by tuk tuk (150 pesos).

We had booked the sea view room which was nice but it would be nice to cut the trees a little so we can actually have a view ;) It would be nice to have some sun loungers on the beach like other hotels do.

Great location. We basically jump from our room to the boat to do the tours. Very close from the town as well. The room is very comfortable. Special thanks to Iyan, our guide, amazing guy. Make our days even better.

We loved the location of the bungalows that are set right on Carong Carong beach. Great if you want to stay out of the main busy el nido harbour area. You get great sunsets and can pick up kayaks or boats straight from your bungalow. The bungalows have all you need with a fridge, kettle, air con etc. The bed is very comfortable and the pillows are perfect. What makes Maligaya beach bungalows special though are the staff who are so cheerful and are always ready to help you.

It’s not really the their fault but the little stream of waste water that runs down the side of the property and into the sea is smelly and I wouldn’t swim in the area in front of the bungalows .

Very cute hotel situated on the beach! We had our room facing the sea with perfect view! The location is good, I recommend to rent a scooter to reach city centre. Overall all nice, perfect if you are looking for a relaxing and quite place.

The shower in the bathroom can be improved, as there is no curtain or divider in the floor, so it tends to get all wet.

Wonderful location, a bit out of El Nido with its hussle and bustle, a bit quieter. The yogurt breakfast was great.

Hôtel très bien situé au centre d’El Nido, avec un accès direct à la plage. En revanche, l’accès piéton pourrait être amélioré : il est très sombre et pas très pratique. La chambre était magnifique et nous avons commandé le petit-déjeuner directement à la réception. Il était tout simplement excellent. Je recommande particulièrement le French Toast.

After I made our reservation, they have sent us a message and said they were sorry but they don’t have machine to use credit card so they wanted us to bring all this money by cash . also sent many details about dogs, location, restaurant etc… and at the end they stated that i can cancel my reservation so After I saw their message I wanted to cancel it ca’mon who would you like to carry that much of cash but then they said I can’t cancel now :) so seems like they are able to get full reservation cost from my credit card all of sudden :) so at the end I didn’t stay, they didn’t cancel and they took money from credit card even though they claimed they didn’t have machine to do so:)

The surroundings are not as nice as the avcomodation. Corong beach has trash and its advised not to swim in the sea.

C'est un établissement coincé entre devant un océan de bateaux amarrés, à gauche un égout à ciel ouvert et à droite un lounge bar qui fait de mauvais cocktails et de la musique forte toute la nuit.

175 € la nuit, Acces par une venelle sombre et puant Les égouts. Pas de petit déjeuner compris. Pas de plage, pas moyen de se baigner, difficile de nager entre les bateaux et les amarres. Pas de paroi de douche, alors la salle de bain et les WC sont inondés dès la 1ère douche, Je commande un petit-déjeuner (en supplément) et là on me refile le café à la turque qui traînait sur la terrasse de la chambre voisine depuis plus d'1 heure. Lamentable.

Good location directly on the beach front, the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Room was spotless and had everything you needed.

Walk to the property was a bit rough & ready

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt direkt am Meer. Alles genau wie auf den Fotos. Extrem sauber. Leckeres Frühstück und sehr freundliches Personal. Wir konnten sogar unsere Kleider zum Waschen abgeben.

Viele Besucher hier auf booking haben geschrieben, dass der Weg zum Hotel schlimm sei. Ich kann dies nicht bestätigen. Der Weg zum Hotel geht durch ein normales Phillippinisches Wohngebiet, welches überhaupt nicht gefährlich ist. Die Leute sind extrem freundlich.

Personel był sympatyczny i pomocny. Bungalow był bardzo ładny i do tego czysty. Bardzo fajne miejsce na pobyt w El Nido.

The location. Very hard to find. Eventually you need to walk in a dirty smelly alley, next to an open sewer. There is a club next door that plays music all night.. The beach is not for swimming, not safe or clean.

La localización es excepcional, sí es verdad que no está en El Nido Town, pero para nosotros mucho mejor, los paseos por la tarde por la playa son muy top.

Por lo que pagas, el desayuno debería estar incluido. Luego, si estás en las habitaciones que dan a la playa, dejan unas luces naranjas encendidas toda la noche, nada cómodo.

Calm , little boutique hotel, only 5 rooms . Right on the beach . Absolutely charming . Loved it

El hotel es muy bonito, es pequeñito pero tiene mucho encanto. El personal del hotel es encantador, siempre te reciben con una sonrisa y te ayudan en todo lo que necesitas. La ubicación está muy bien, no está en el centro pero tienes el puerto muy cerca y restaurantes y supermercados a 5 min andando.

Uniek verblijf, enorm vriendelijk personeel, het is ook fijn dat je je ontbijt op je terras krijgt - we zijn zeker tevreden! Locatie op zich: dicht bij El Nido stad en het ligt aan de haven; super handig voor dagtours!

Vervuild strand, maar daar kan de accommodatie niet aan doen.

Beautiful room with beautiful views.

People smoking right in front of it all the time, we could not open the curtains for the “view” as they would see into our room. If you had breakfast on the terrace people would come and offer to sell things over the fence (the fence was like shoulder height from the beach). The price was WAY too expensive for what we got.

Ian and the team were so good to us, we loved our little beach bungalow and hope to be back some day!

Staff was so attentive, helpful and kind. I got sunburned and one lent me her own aloe vera gel. The room was pretty, clean and comfortable. Breakfast on the balcony with beach view every morning was dreamy.

Only negative point would be the laundry service, our close came back smelling of cigarette. Appart from that, loved everything here. 10/10

The staff and service was so beautiful and accomodating! The rooms were very very clean. The location was perfect, we could explore the town centre taking a quick tuk tuk over (3 mins) and could walk to Vanilla beach. The breakfast was also so delicious and value for money. Couldn’t recommend this accommodation more.

We liked the room. Clean and comfortable and was quiet there. Some people passing by but thats fine. Beach is just outside the gate. Close to everything, restaurant, town proper and beach.

Very helpful staff, they can organize transport and book tours in your name. Overall pretty good quality, but I would say most definitely overpriced. Very good location, near good restaurants and coffee shops. The view is really nice.

The air conditioning was very hard to set up and it switched off at times, which made it quite difficult to sleep. There is a bar just next to the hotel so I recommend bringing earplugs. For some reason people gather on the beach just outside the premise in the morning (like 8-10 men, waiting for something), which I understand is not something that can be controlled but it definately ruins the view and serene atmosphere we expected from the description and the photos (and the price).

What a beautiful place to stay! So picturesque! We enjoyed our stay, Beve was more than helpful, responsive and willing to make our visit even more pleasant. The location is conveniently placed on the beach where all the restaurants and bars are, no need to get any transportation (you’ll appreciate that!)

The surrounding of the hotel is a bit messy, but you get used to it quickly.

It had a lovely waterfront location, all of the amenities were included. It was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. Couldn't have asked for more!

Beverly and the rest of the staff were exceptional. The homemade breakfast was delicious. The balcony view during sunset was so beautiful. The bedding was nice, and the pillows were so soft. Hope to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Maligaya Beach Bungalows! Just outside the hustle and bustle of town centre but close to a variety of bars and restaurants along the beach! The room was amazing and so was the view. We had a great stay!
