Nos ha en encantado todo! El trato del personas excepcional, nos han tratado estupendamente durante toda la estancia y han estado muy atentas de que no nos faltase nada. El ambiente, con todos los gatitos y la perrita del alojamiento es excepcional y muy tranquilo. Y el desayuno está buenísimo!! Si os gusta la naturaleza y un ambiente acogedor y tranquilo, ¡este es vuestro sitio!

Personale sempre disponibile e gentilissimo, cane e gatti adorabili, buona la colazione. Apprezzabile l'attenzione verso la natura e la sostenibilità in una nazione che ne ha davvero un gran bisogno.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property is surrounded by beautiful nature, and we were welcomed by friendly dog and the sweetest little kittens. There were literally tons of butterflies everywhere, making the whole place feel magical. It is peaceful, quiet, and isolated enough to truly relax, yet conveniently located just a 5-minute drive from the city center. A special shoutout to the staff—they are super friendly, genuinely helpful, and provided us with really useful local information throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Such a cute place tucked down a peaceful street next to a lagoon. Staff were exceptionally kind and helpful and made us a delicious breakfast. Hiring scooters was helpful to get into town.

Access to a fridge in our room would have been useful but it wasn’t a deal breaker.

Heel vriendelijke ontvangst! Lekker ontbijt en gezellige sfeer! Zeker aan te raden als je op zoek bent naar rust (na een druk bezoek aan Hanoi). Het ligt wat verder van het centrum van Cat Ba, maar ze verhuren scooters en hebben een taxi op speed dial. Te voet is het 30 minuten wandelen, wat goed te doen is (alleen wel warm in de zomermaanden).

Très peu d'espace dans les bungalows, un mini réfrigérateur serait un véritable plus.

Het is een heerlijke plek als je de drukte van Cat Ba wilt omzeilen. Het strand is nog niet eens 10 min met de scooter (die we voor een klein prijsje konden huren). Ontbijt was heerlijk en de koffies waren fantastisch. We kregen zelfs het recept mee om thuis te maken. Ook konden we gratis gebruik maken van de wasmachine wat echt heel fijn was. Kortom een top plek.

This place is an oasis. Down a small quiet road, about 15-20 from the center of cat ba town, filled with greenery, the owner is attentive and lovely to deal with. At night it's quiet. It is also 10 minute walk from a lovely beach that is not one of the "big 3" (Cat Co 1-3) which we had almost to ourselves. Would recommend highly.

Beautiful location with very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The included breakfast was very good and the coffee was fantastic! We felt taken care of like family here and loved the kittens and golden retriever!

Ein sehr entspannender, ruhiger & idyllischer Ort. Wenn man etwas sucht das etwas abseits vom Trubel liegt ist man hier goldrichtig (und mit dem Taxi oder Roller ist man immer noch schnell genug im Zentrum).

How wonderfully lovely the staff are and how they run there business! Loved there garden, animals their ginger tea was my favourite tea I have ever had!

Our family is absolutely delighted with our stay at this hotel. We truly enjoyed a relaxing getaway in peace and quiet, away from the city center. We had a wonderful beach nearby, and the hotel offered excellent European-style breakfasts and very delicious egg coffee! The atmosphere at the hotel was very calm and friendly. It's such a pity that we only booked five days. Our room was spacious and clean, and the hotel grounds were full of flowers and shrubs. There's a national park nearby. We thank all the hotel staff for creating a warm, homey atmosphere of comfort, care, and coziness!

Het enige minpuntje is dat er geen verduisterende gordijnen zijn, waardoor ik steeds vroeg wakker werd.

This little garden oasis is a gem. The bungalow was beautiful and clean. The surrounding gardens are gorgeous. All staff are so lovely and helpful. Their coffee is some of the best in Vietnam! There are lots of animals on the property (wild and pets) and the surrounding road - a must stay if you love nature and animals. It is a bit further from the main town - however we found this to be so worth it. There are shops / restaurants/ laundry services within a small walking distance. Taxis are easy to get if you want to go to main area. 12GO buses will collect from the main road- very ideal.

We loved the peacefulness and quietness of the area. It was surrounded by nature and very secluded. Breakfast was okay, coffee was great.

Location wasn’t great and the payable fee to the city was too much. Would’ve been helpful to have bicycles available to us. The bathroom and shower leaked water, so the floors were always wet, but it’s okay.

Das A-Frame-Haus ist etwas klein. (Wir hatten sowohl den Bungalow als auch das A-Frame-Haus gemietet) Die Möbel auf den Terrassen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen - passt aber zum Ambiente

Super cozy place, nicely decorated and tidy. Staff was very nice they even made us a small breakfast for takeaway cause we were in a rush and have arranged a scooter for us. Highly recommend, it was the best stay during our trip!

Petit havre de paix au bord d'un petit étang, pleins de papillons et de chats au milieu de plantes luxuriantes. J'ai beaucoup aimé l'accueil et le petit coin pour boire des verres et prendre le petit déjeuner. La cabane en bois était très belle, confortable, avec beaucoup de fenêtres pour profiter du cadre naturel. On aurait aimé y rester plus longtemps! Merci

2 points à noter mais qui n'ont pas dutout terni le sejour : l'évacuation de l'eau de douche dans la salle de bain à améliorer, et ça n'était pas nécessaire pour nous mais si certains séjournent plus longtemps dans la cabane, peut-être une petite plaque chauffante pour se faire à manger serait un plus

We travelled for 5 weeks in Cambodia and Vietnam - and this was our favourite place!! Really liked the warm and cozy feeling and the smiling staff. Absolutely beautifull quiet place. Butterflies and flowers everywhere. Good Coffee and breakfast. Thank you for the Music😉

The Water had No pressure and the terrasse was in Need of “a hand” - but it was really No problem

We had an open staircase down from the sleeping area and bathroom was on floor below, which was tricky in the middle of the night

The setting was idyllic on a lagoon. The bungalow was beautiful, tastefully decorated and had a separate shower and toilet which was great. The staff were lovely and I only wished I could have stayed longer.

Die Unterkunft hat uns rundum gefallen! :) Blue Lagoon ist ein ganz besonderer und liebevoll gestalteter Ort, an dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Als wir nach veganem Frühstück gefragt haben, wurde uns sogar angeboten, veganes vietnamesisches Frühstück für uns zuzubereiten. Es gibt ein kleines Café, in dem man sehr guten Kaffee bekommen kann. Eine tolle Unterkunft für eine Auszeit auf der ansonsten eher trubeligen Insel!

Blue lagoon had everything we could ask for and more: Fan, air con, heater, fridge. We could do laundry for free and it was drying up overnight so quick! The bungalows are precious, so cosy, we didn’t want to leave!!! The food for breakfasts was good, they have the most adorable golden retriever dog called Gun (Ginger in Vietnamese) and Lin the host is so helpful, knows all good places restaurants barber shops, nail salons etc. totally recommend! Our bungalow has two floors, soooo amazing. Extremely cosy and romantic, they also have amazing garden and you can sit outside. The scooter rental is available there , very nice and cheap, we hired for almost every day to go around Cat Ba. Totally recommend! This was our best stay in Vietnam and we did 4 stays!

The staff, the vibe, the peacefulness, the view and the sweet golden retriever that lived there made staying at the Blue Lagoon Cat Ba our most favorite hotel we stayed in over our entire 3 week trip to Vietnam! We really loved our time there and would absolutely recommend it to other travelers! A delicious, freshly cooked breakfast each morning was the cherry on top! Just a wonderful stay!

Location was gorgeous, quiet, away from the down town cat ba noise. Staff was helpful and welcoming! The bungalow was adorable. Loved watching the butterflies outside the window.

Everything about this stay was brilliant. The owners/staff were always super helpful and kind. We arrived too early to check in but they made us comfortable and we had breakfast there (which was delicious), the lodge was perfect. We were tired and they ordered dinner to the location for us. A good spot to get to a taxi to the town for boat tours, or to hire a motorbike and travel across the island. The dog/receptionist gừng was the cherry on top.

Nothing we didn’t like. There are lots of mosquitos in the area so bring repellant!

A wonderful peaceful place outside of town, set on the lagoon, all charmingly rustic and Ling was the most perfect host making sure that my days were lovely, helping with organising trips/transport and nothing was too much trouble, a terrific find!

The location was incredible! It was secluded by a small, beautiful lagoon. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They had beer and cocktails available. There were 6 cats and one dog in the common area, which was adorable. Our room was large and included a kitchen, sitting area, and large tv. The bed was surrounded by windows overlooking the lagoon. Breakfast was made to order, and the staff were very helpful in getting us taxis when needed. We had a wonderful stay and wish we could have spent more time!

Świetna lokalizacja na uboczu Cat Ba (dla nas to plus). Wspaniały klimat - cisza, spokój, piękny ogród, w którym wieczorem można posiedzieć. Rewelacyjny personel. Śniadania skromne, ale bardzo dobre. Najlepsze i najuczciwsze drinki, jakie piliśmy w życiu przygotowane w niezwykłej atmosferze przez właściciela - pana Hai. Absolutny must have :)

The property is beautiful and very peaceful. The staff is friendly and very helpful - they assisted us with scooter rental and taxi bookings, as well as with restaurant recommendation for one of our favourite meals in Vietnam.

It is a bit far from the center but nothing that cannot be solved by a quick taxi or about 20/30 minutes walk

The location. Peaceful and beautiful, by a lake. away from the noise of the town of Cat Ba. The only noise is the sound of the crickets at night. Bliss…… Staff were lovely and kind. Always available to help and advise. We were sad to leave after 3 nights. Highly recommend.

Blue Lagoon was such an oasis for us in Cat Ba - a peaceful escape from the over-developed town. We slept so close to nature in beautiful wooden cabins. listening to all the birds and crickets. All the staff there were so friendly and our baby made best friends with Linh, exploring their lovingly crafted garden. The coffee was also superb and expertly brewed. We wished we'd stayed longer!! It was the best place we've stayed in Việt Nam by a long long way, can't recommend highly enough.

The facilities are a bit rustic but that did not detract from the stay.

The location is exactly what we were looking for. Secluded, quiet, and nestled in nature. The coffee was some of the best we had during our time in Vietnam, and the breakfast was also quite great. Cannot recommend this place enough! They offer scooter rentals and can arrange any additional needs you may have.
