Reviewed Jun 27, 2026Es trobava a 15 minuts caminant de la zona cèntrica. Aire acondicionat i ventilador correctes per alliberar la calor de fora.
La neteja de l’habitació era molt justa. Hi havia pestanyes enganxades a la tauleta de nit i algun cabell al coixí/manta. El lavabo no tenia finestra per tant es sentia tot el soroll de fora. Les parets bastant brutes. La zona d’entrada on hi havia taules per menjar tampoc estava neta.

Reviewed Jun 13, 2026I made the booking last minute due to work-related change of plans. The staff assisted me lots with the complex logistics of my trip and were very responsive and helpful. Absolutely saved my day. The room was nice, clean & comfortable. I had a really good rest. There is a very nice cafe at the homestay with a restaurant attached. Really great matcha and taro desserts. Extremely good value & i would definitely stay again.

Reviewed Feb 10, 2026View of Tung Thu Beach from this dorm is highkey goated, waking up to those ocean vibes gave me major main character energy every single day. The staff are absolute chads, super chill and they lowkey treated me like a long-lost bestie. And don't even get me started on the food because the seafood was straight up bussin. We're talking literal mountain-sized plates of fresh catches that had me in a food coma for hours. It’s the ultimate Cat Ba island vibe without even trying. This place is legit a 10/10, no cap.
Tbh I’m reaching here because I legit couldn't find a single red flag. Zero complaints, just vibes.

Reviewed Jan 6, 2026It is set up a small back street so there is little noise from passing traffic. On the edge of the main bay area. Very helpful staff - they searched for a misplaced ring for us after we had left.
No fault of the owners at all but the HUGE construction works taking place in the bay will ruin the views from current establishments and render the place unrecognisable.

La salle de bain n'etait pas tres propre, les douches sont un peu à l'abandon dommage. Pas de savon dans les toilettes et un toilette déjà bouché à mon arrivée. La salle de bain n'a pas de porte donc si il y a du bruit, on entend tout dans le dortoir.

Les douches sont un peu vieillots et parfois l'eau chaude ne vient pas. Toutefois savon et shampoing sont mis à disposition.

La douche était soit tiède soit bouillante mais nous n’en avons pas parlé à l’hôte donc c’est aussi notre faute

The contact with the owners (sisters) is easy, they fluently speak English.Cannot imagine better service! The price for dorm including breakfast was excellent. Homestay is located near the beach not in the centre of tourist area.
Better be supplied with earplugs if you're not used to karaoke in the neighborhood.

La gérante est accueillante et très réactive, nous a réservé bus et croisière à des prix attractifs. Nous a conseillé des adresses pour louer des vélos et restaurants. Je recommande cet hôtel sans soucis

Ich habe mich nicht wohl gefühlt. Man müsste hier dringend mal Geld in die Hand nehmen und nicht nur einen Spruch an die Wand malen. Die Wände & Decken sehen furchtbar aus, sodass man sich echt unwohl fühlt. Die Tür lässt sich sehr schwer schließen. Die AC ist sehr laut. Die Lage ist nicht schön. Die Dusche (ihr könnt sie auf dem Bild ja mal suchen...) ist so extrem nah am Klo, dass man wirklich alles dauerhaft überflutet. Wir haben nach einer schlechten Nacht das Hotel gewechselt & für den gleichen Preis in einem fantastischen Hotel geschlafen.

Perfect for western tourists who want a local experience. Beautiful local beach in 2 min walk, scooters for rent, lots of activities offered and can be organised once there.

The bathrooms are outside and are not very comfortable to wear clothes and take a bath. But it is fine for a short stay.

She helped me with booking a bus and boat tour. There is a tasty free breakfast, and a nice balcony. It’s also a very good price.
It didn’t bother me too much but if there was one thing to improve, the shared dorm & 1st floor bathrooms could have been a little cleaner, and maybe some fixes to the shower doors/room handle.

Reviewed Feb 25, 2025What I liked most was how friendly and attentive the owners were, making everything I needed easier. They gave me lots of tips on where to visit. And I also had a wonderful tour at a great price. I felt at home, rented a motorcycle and ended up staying for a week. I recommend!
The beds were a bit hard. Not too much, Just like all the Ásia. Anyway was Very confortable to sleep.
