Reviewed Aug 23, 2026It's always a pleasure to stay at Tobedzz, super comfy beds, nice warm shower, it's a bit like a Premier Inn in the UK. Breakfast is very welcome, simple, tasty, coffee, juice, a bit of Thai food, toast and bananas. It's a very short walk to the bus station and staff are always so welcoming ☺️

asked for connecting rooms at time of booking as we have small children, request was ignored. no communication or response despite finding they do have connecting rooms. breakfast - although free, was vile, stiff rice left for hours on low heat, nothing edible or breakfast like. coffee was poor, water tasted stagnant, orange juice was cheap and syrup like.

Reviewed Mar 19, 2026Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort, das Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt, im Erdgeschoss war der Raum etwas muffig und es war kein Problem das Zimmer zu wechseln. Ein bequemes Bett und eine heiße Dusche mit gutem Wasserdruck. Wir waren zufrieden.

Reviewed Mar 10, 2026Gefallen hat uns, dass es alles so sauber war und die Betten sehr ordentlich waren. Dusche war akzeptabel. Eine gute Gegend man hat sich sicher gefühlt
Das Frühstück, aus dem Grund dass es draußen in der Sonne war. Es wurde quasi abgedeckt, aber das sah auch alles nicht einladend aus. Dementsprechend haben wir ein leckeres Frühstück, was in der Nähe war, direkt rausgesucht.

Bei Ankunft war das Zimmer sehr heiss, da die Vorhänge nich zugezogen werden und die Sonne bis zum Nachmittag reinscheint.

Schönes sauberes Stadthotel mit grossen Zimmern. Schöne Dachterrasse. Nebenan direkt 7eleven. Freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal.

Reviewed Feb 11, 2026Very comfortable rooms with superb beds. I spent an extremely restful night here. This place is great for a short stay and very handy for the bus terminal Comfortable if a little impersonal and corporate but that's what I expected. Spotlessly clean throughout.
Bathroom was a little cramped but not a problem. Breakfast on the meagre side.

Reviewed Jan 27, 2026Das Hotel befindet sich fußläufig zum zentralen Busbahnhof. Auch die Innenstadt sowie die Hot Springs sind gut zu Fuss zu erreichen. In der Nähe befindet sich ein Waschsalon mit Trocknern, der 24 Stunden geöffnet hat. Sehr praktisch wenn man, wie wir, länger unterwegs ist. Das Zimmer ist hell und wird jeden Tag gereinigt. Obwohl das Hotel an der Hauptstraße liegt ist es ruhig. Für eine Zwischenübernachtung in Ranong ideal. Ansonsten finden wir, lohnt sich Ranong auch für 1-2Tage Aufenthalt. Es ist noch eine ganz normale Stadt, ohne touristische Überfirderung. Der Nachtmarkt am Samstag ist der beste, den wir bisher in Thailand erlebt haben.

Reviewed Jan 15, 2026Hôtel neuf, similaire au système de motel américain, confortable et propre. L' accueil est excellent et 24h/24. A 10 minutes à pied de la station de bus, c'est très pratique pour une correspondance même la nuit ! Derrière le seven eleven et quelques restos de rue à proximité.
La baie vitrée donnant directement sur le parking.. Sinon tout était parfait !

Reviewed Jan 12, 2026Das Hotel wirkt von außen modern und gepflegt und liegt direkt neben dem Busbahnhof, was es ideal für eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise macht. Trotz der Nähe zur stark befahrenen Straße ist es im Zimmer angenehm ruhig, da die Fenster nicht zu öffnen sind und den Straßenlärm sehr gut abschirmen. Das Frühstück ist eher einfach, aber in Ordnung: Toastbrot mit Marmelade und Butter, ein Teiggericht, Fruchtsaft, Wasser im Krug und Bananen. Kein Wow-Frühstück, aber ausreichend, vor allem da Anfang Jänner kaum Gäste im Hotel waren. Das Zimmer im oberen Stockwerk war sauber, funktional und gut ausgestattet, inklusive kleinem Safe. In fußläufiger Entfernung gibt es gute Essensmöglichkeiten, zum Beispiel Hotpot-Restaurants, sowie heiße Quellen, die teilweise kostenlos oder gegen eine sehr geringe Gebühr zugänglich sind. Auch die Organisation eines Taxis über eine gängige Online-Plattform hat hervorragend funktioniert und war deutlich günstiger als das vom Hotel vorgeschlagene Taxi; das Fahrzeug war innerhalb weniger Minuten vor Ort.
Das erste Zimmer, das wir bekommen haben, lag im Erdgeschoss und hatte einen sehr starken Schimmelgeruch. Im Sockelbereich war deutlich schwarzer Schimmel sichtbar, offenbar durch aufsteigende Feuchtigkeit. Das war sehr unangenehm und aus unserer Sicht ein ernstzunehmendes Problem. Nach Reklamation bekamen wir ein Zimmer im oberen Stockwerk, das dann völlig in Ordnung war. Dennoch scheint die Feuchtigkeit insbesondere in den Erdgeschosszimmern ein grundsätzliches Problem zu sein, was kritisch wäre, falls das Hotel stärker ausgelastet ist und kein Zimmerwechsel möglich wäre.

Reviewed Jan 3, 2026Spotlessly clean, helpful staff, answered my messages prior to arrival quickly. Quiet, mainly families. The bed was very good, firm with a pillow top feel. The shower was great! Lots of hot water. Small bathroom, but great use of space. Blackout curtains, strong WiFi. Short walk to 7-11. Cafes close by. They arranged a Tuk Tuk taxi to the pier. And I was able to leave my car for my trip to Koh phayam.
I am not a fan of Asian breakfasts but that falls on me. Toast, jelly and a banana was perfectly adequate.

Reviewed Dec 21, 2025The hotel has a good location, close to the center, just a few minutes by car to Walking Street and also to the nearby hot springs. The room was clean, with a nice bathroom with a bathtub, a large and comfortable bed, and blackout curtains, which is a plus if you want to sleep in. Parking is right in front of the hotel.
The only downside was the breakfast — it was always the same with a very limited selection.

Reviewed Dec 8, 2025Schönes Zimmer und ein gehobener Standard für die Durchreise oder für ein paar Nächte. Eine sehr gute Unterkunft kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen.
Leider war meine Matratze etwas durch gelegen und man hat das gespürt. Auch die Dusche könnte eine kleine Sanierung vertragen.

Хорошее месторасположение - рядом был 7/11, зелёная прогулочная зона, кафе. Персонал крайне любезен. Номера достаточно просторные, тихие, фотогеничные, мы взяли два и всё новое, чистое, с необходимыми удобствами. Среди постояльцев было много местных с детьми, отель оживлён, и не смотря на скромные размеры очень уютен, безопасен и вполне комфортен. Хочется вернуться туда снова!
Вкусные, но совсем не разнообразные завтраки, хотя с очень красивым видом. Отель очень маленький, в нём практически совсем нечего делать, хотя скорее всего для подобного отеля и места это вовсе и не обязательно.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing. Could do with some cereal/yoghurt option too. The location was great for us we walked into town, Walking Street etc and ate at The Farmhouse in town which was good but service was a bit slow.

Safety deposit box in the room. Good fridge. 7/11, a washeteria and two restaurants - one Japanese - 150 metres from the hotel.
Breakfast was very basic but maybe I should be grateful I got a breakfast at all as from my experience of Thailand, breakfast is the exception rather than standard.

Warm water, A/C worked well, fridge, kettle available, wifi great. Breakfast was okay. Beds were very comfortable and there is a nice sushi restaurant and 7 Eleven around the corner.

Reviewed Oct 24, 2024We love this hotel - whenever going to or coming back from Koh Phayam, we always stay here. 2 minutes from the bus station, next door to the 7 eleven, close to lots of food. It is clean and comfortable, a proper hotel feel to it, everything works. Breakfast is simple but good. Bathroom is great with hot water and toiletries. Bed is wonderful.

Reviewed Feb 17, 2024No bed bugs as we always check with our UV torch. WiFi is ok too - speed test at roughly 30MBPS down and about 15 up. The shower works perfectly and the room is clean. The breakfast was a traditional Thai breakfast - though the plates were small, it is a buffet. It's a 4 minute walk from the bus station so it's really convenient and doesn't require a taxi or tuk tuk, even when we were carrying loads of luggage. The staff called a company to book the taxi and speedboat to koh phayam too, which was welcomed since the ride hailing apps don't seem to operate here (at least the ones we tried!) The hotel was quiet and the A/C worked perfectly. It doesn't have an auto function but, for those who get warm overnight, it's got a very quiet setting. There's plenty of space in the room too for both storage and the bed. We ended up in a bedroom that had space for a third person too. The hotel itself was fairly empty when we went, even though there are probably only 16 rooms in total.
The view is not great but not awful (close to the back of shops but also a beautiful view of the hill in front). Had some buffering of YouTube videos so maybe there's an inconsistency there.

Breakfast is super typical . Very humble rice soup with fried fish. A bit outside of town . 20min walking or you can try a random hitch hike which you can try. Recommendable .
