We really enjoyed our stay here. The pool was lovely, rooms and beds were comfortable, front desk were knowledgeable and spoke wonderful English. The daily breakfast was terrific, especially if you love Thai food.

Skön säng och ett rymligt rum. Poolen ett stort plus. Bra taxi service till flygplatsen. Frukost utbudet kan definitivt behövas utvecklas. Magert om man föredrar västerländsk frukost!

The best part of this 3 star hotel is it's breakfast buffet. They serve a wide variety of traditional Thai dishes and western omelets upon request. Aptly named, the restaurant's architecture is in the shape of a classic American red barn. Our room was on the 4th floor overlooking greenspace surrounded by buildings. The room was clean and comfortable. We also had 2 boiled eggs in our room to accompany the chicken motif. If you arrive by car, note what day and time the street is closed for the night market (6-10pm). If you arrive during the market, you need to park a few blocks away and walk to the hotel. If you call ahead and let the hotel reception know where you are parked, they will send people to help with luggage. This was very helpful for us as we arrived during a deluge of a rainstorm.

Well not much in Ranong but this is a surprise hotel with high standards. Good staff, very clean and good food..nice pool and parking outside, can’t fault it really. The damage price sheet amused me a bit and I’ll include the photo for your information.

The best part I like their breakfast. Location wise is very nice.

The experience is over my expectations; the room is very newly renovated with all necessities. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, I had a really good night.The breakfast bar got good variety-western& local choice. Highly recommended

A fantastic find. Great sizeable clean rooms in really nicely decorated hotel. Nice staff and great facilities including a wonderful outside swimming pool. Located right in the centre of Ranong with it own restaurant attached. Restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast provided. Nice biog fridge in the room for convenience.

We stayed to break up our trip from Phuket to Bangkok. Hotel staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good, they even made us an omelette and pool was beautiful. Took advantage of experiencing the night market on Walking Street as it was close by.

Farmhouse was really well run, clean, and had a great staff. The pool was excellent, and the breakfast buffet was amazing.

Again and again, we visit Ranong and stayed in this hotel. It was comfortable place for walking around the city. It is walking distance to tourist place; shrines, palace, stadium, shops, restaurants and others.

Exceptional property. Great facilities. Breakfast excellent with a mix for local and Western tastes

I don't like that why they separated breakfast room and hotel ?

We had a wonderful late lunch here upon arrival to Ranong. The staff were very attentive offering suggestions for drinking bid and meals. We ordered a 4 cheese pizza, Tom yum and chicken stir fry. All were of a high standard. The decor is modern and inviting. Air conditioning made for comfortable dining. Would come here again.

Not at all impressed! The pool was dirty upon arrival so we said something to the front desk, they cleaned the pool the next day only to close it the following day citing Covid. Towels placed by the sliding door in the room to stop rain from coming under the door. The shower was just a handheld sprayer in the bathroom with a sheet to keep everything else in the room from getting soaked. Breakfast buffet was nice if you only want cold local food, no western food at all (my Thai wife was even disappointed).

Staff is very helpful and the hotel has a good amenities.

This was my second stay at FarmHouse - the hotel itself is a cute, immaculately clean charming spot in Ranong. The rooms are basic, but have great A/C, comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast. The staff is helpful and the prices are great for the standard that you receive. Our family was very comfortable with our one night stop, and we felt like we had a very unique stay. The FarmHouse restaurant did an excellent range of Thai and Western dishes, and they have an OTOP store to pick up local-made products. This place is quite the gem in Ranong!

Stayed at Farm House Hotel for a night in December 2021. The room and bathroom are clean and spacious. Only a drawback which is walls between rooms are thin so can hear noises. Breakfast anyway was superb. It tasted very good especially kanom jeen and khao yam. They are keen in Thai dishes not so many western menu available.

Just opened two years ago and is an annex to the existing building. Very well finished with nice décor and comfortable beds. AC was noisy and leaked during the night so we woke up to a flood at the bathroom door. Breakfast was a 200m walk up the hill and was plentiful but strictly for the Asian palette - rice, curry and all sorts of veggies and pickles that I had never seen before. The 'Farang' choice was the usual rubbery bread and plastic sausages. Not good.

Quiet place but in a great location as it is very close to Ranong main road. The room was clean and comfortable obviously in this Covid time Ranong is very very quiet more than usual but I'm looking for relaxing in fact tomorrow I will go to Koh Phayam to spend a couoles of weeks

We stopped here to break the journey up from Phuket to Cha am. The room was spotless and reception staff was friendly. The only fault was there are no English speaking channels on the TV, other than that cannot complain. The breakfast was mainly for the Thais but there is something that would be suitable for all. The hotel restaurant served great food at night.

On arrival we were surprised to revieve welcome eggs rather than the traditional welcome drink. Great idea and fits well with the brand ha ha. The staff on front office were really friendly and helpful. Drip coffee in the room was tasty. Nice swimming pool and also a pool table for recreation time. Would recommend this hotel. 🥚🥚🥚🥚

Our room was huge and the bathroom was modern with walk in rain shower and plenty of hot water. Everything was spotless and new. Loved the welcome hard boiled eggs!! and Ranong drip coffee. Location was perfect for restaurants and cafes.

Ranong is an old city. If you are looking for an updated, really nice Hotel...this is it. The location is good on one of the main streets, but not near the ocean. It surprised me that Ranong is connected by a water inlet, at some distance from the ocean. The rooms are generous, very clean, very quiet. Everything in place, plenty electric outlets , good WiFi, elevator, game room, pool and plenty of privat parking. Breakfast is Thai style and generous, but no continental fare is available. Nice service though-out.

Best location, comfy bed and cool concept of fresh farm products. The breakfast is NOT TO MISS! It has super wide range of food, international, Asian and Southern Thai dishes. At night, you can also enjoy imported beer at its restaurant. Extremely valued for money.

It was a very nice hotel, but mostly catered to Thai tourists since their website could not be used to book or contact from outside of Thailand. From outside, you have to use other websites to book and only certain rooms were available while booking in Thailand (through phone) other room options are available. Our room was nice, small marble floor, comfortable bed, good air condition, and good wifi. Service was good with limited English (mostly cater to Thai) but still good. Foods were excellent and reasonable and we ate while there. Breakfast was basically Thai but there were other western types. They stress on the "Eggs", fresh eggs! Most western tourists would stay at Koh Chang or Koh Payam since there are more resorts and activities there, but we like Farmhouse.

We only stayed here for 1 night but we really enjoyed it. What I found really cool was the chicken concept that came back in many places. Ceilings were decorated with egg boxes and that looked really good. Bed was good, room nothing to complain. Only minus was that for Western people the breakfast was extremely limited (toast and marmalade). But I have to say that there was an enormous variety but, unfortunately, not of our liking.

Visited Ranong a few times, and had stayed in this Farm House hotel before, very centralize located, within walking distance to most of the town shop area, but what I really like is the B/F which I looked forward to everyday.

I stayed one night at the Farmhouse on my way back to Phuket. The hotel is brand new, clean and has good amenities and a neat chicken theme that you see everywhere :) Breakfast buffet is extended and the restaurant has a very nice selection of food. Recommended for your stay.

Everything was good . Room is clean, bed is comfortable, food is good for Thai only . Location is in town close to restaurants . Only thing that I didn't like is services at the front desk. They ignored me . Nobody wanted to give me eye contact. When I gave them my passport , they asked me for Thai ID instead, when I told them that I gave them passport because it has the same last name that I used for booking then they wanted my passport. No smile, no thank you, no information when I asked them for the tour or massage. Sometimes 5 people sitting there and they all looking on their phones. ( This information for the owner) your receptionist need to be trained!!

Breakfast is various of southern food and also delicious. Location is in the middle of the city, so it is easy to travel.

Best hotel I have stayed in Ranong, will stay again. Comfortable room with good restaurant and bar.

We stayed here one night in the new wing. The room was large clean with a lovely comfortable bed and big pillows. (A cute touch was the welcome boiled egg.) The staff were very friendly and the check in staff were efficient. The pool was lovely and clean in a nice area and open until 10pm. The Farmhouse bar restaurant is where breakfast is served. The breakfast selection did not have any western options, A large choice of beers are available and it also has an extensive menu. We ate dinner here I would say the food was average. Open all day.

The hotel itself is located in town near the night market area, which was convenient. Room was spacious with adjoining bathroom that came with a shower area. There's 2 welcome soft boiled egg fresh from the farm for you in the room. The hotel have a swimming pool and gym/recreational area which unfortunately I was not able to use due to pack schedule. The breakfast spread was mostly local Thai food, which could be a challenge if you are not the adventurous type in terms of food. Although there is your bread, butter and jam available. Overall, it was quite a good hotel in the locality and satisfied my need for bed and breakfast during the stay.

The farm house is a great hotel and if your staying on a Saturday night in Ranong with the walking street right outside it’s a must. Rooms are very clean and has a great quiet pool area. Breakfast is different but I enjoyed it lots of fresh food and a build your own approach which was fantastic. It is a little more expensive than some but at least you get what you pay for unlike some other places in the area. 5 minute walk to the palace model, 10 minute mini bus to the Hot Springs and 7 minute walk to the Market makes it well placed and lots of restaurants nearby.

Excellent Asian breakfast, very good to get to know local varieties of Thai food in superb quality. Clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, very quiet surrounding although in the center of Ranong

The hotel is in the center of the city so it is easy to find restaurants and bars. Also it is a beautiful building that does not spoil the scenery. Shower is comfortable too.

The Farmhouse is an affordable, perfectly suitable hotel for a short stay in Ranong. Nothing fancy here, just a clean room with a good bed in a convenient part of town. The nearby Farmhouse restaurant is good, with indoor and outdoor seating, cold beer, good food and pleasant staff. I stayed one night before a week-long dive trip, and one night after, and it did not disappoint. I recommend it.

Das angrenzende Restaurant ist wunderschön und das Essen phantastisch- internationale und lokale Küche.

Reception Staff tried to charge us the exorbitant rate of 400 Baht for just a 3 minute drive to Bus Station. Firstly they quoted 200 Baht but as we were leaving and had no other options, they doubled the price to include the 3 minute return journey for the driver. By comparison our family of 4 paid 900Baht in total for the 7 hr trip by bus to Phuket. Does the Hotel know the meaning of 'hospitality'. I wonder if the owners know the staff are ripping people off using the Hotel Van?? Surely, the hotel could have provided this service for FREE! The 200 Baht was bad enough, but doubling it just as we were leaving - outrageous and deceitful!!

Helt ok hotell som låg centralt. På lördagkvällen när vi anlände var det marknad på gatan framför hotellet, vilken då var avstängd. Fick gå med packningen ett par hundra meter.Frukosten var asiatisk och hade ett rikt utbud. Dock ingen frukost som vi är vana vid. Blev dock mätta och belåtna. Det var trevligt att gå en runda på marknaden.

Schönes neues Stadthotel in zentraler Lage. Herausragend war das Frühstück mit benachbarten Farmhouse Restaurant. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Da von der Straße etwas zurück gesetzt zudem auch sehr ruhig.

Preiswert, war okay, nicht mehr. Dass die Balkon- und die Eingangstüren nicht gut passten und der Boden im WC nach einer Dusche nicht abtrocknete, muss man in dieser Preiskategorie wohl akzeptieren. Viele Restaurants sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet, habe ich sehr geschätzt. Das Farmhausrestaurant sieht gut aus, war an einem Sonntag, bei meiner Anreise, gut besetzt, mit entsprechenden Preisen.
