In general I liked the place, because of the good location and friendly service.
The room was without windows, so it was very stuffy during the night.
Non visible
Roach in my room
No fue posible quedarnos ya que el cuatro solo tenía una cama
Cuando realice la reservación aclare que éramos 3 personas dos adultos y un niño y me comentaron que eran dos camas tuve que retirarme y hospedarme en otro hotel
So Colonial So nice ! Great location amazing breakfast and staff
A colourfull hotel right in the charming center in Tequila. And a good breakfast in the amazing inner courtyard.
The overall experience was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The cleanliness of the hotel was awesome. It was worth every penny.
That I had to leave.

Room was small and needs updating
Vanessa and the rest of the staff were exceptional during the lock-down on Sunday.
Our room was a bit small.
They didn't tell us

Just the location and the lobby
The room was in bad shape, they gave us 2 bath towels and two super tiny towels . There was a shampoo container that resembled a cheap fabric softener and one tiny soap. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling, the bathroom door made a squeaky noise and all the furniture was huge for the tiny room, old and in bad shape.
NADA...!
The property is beautiful - really gives a flavour of Mexico, the staff were very helpful in providing recommendations of where to eat and sorting cleaning. The property is so close to the centre of tequila where literally everything is walking distance.
Rooms are slightly dated (as pictured) - not a problem for me as I think still value for money and all the positive points outweigh this
Staff was very friendly and respectful, room was big and it had a huge bathroom.
The only negative was the parking, it was a block and a half away. In a very secure place which was nice .
Great location, just a couple of blocks from the town square. Very basic room.
Shower had low water pressure. Parking was offsite at another premises a block away.
No breakfast taken at the hotel!
Hotel is located too close to a disco bar and it was way too noisy to sleep, on top of that building demolition was in progress after midnight next to the hotel and can’t get a sleep at all! The two nights I stayed there were like a nightmare!
Bath tub was clogged. Was showering in a small lagoon inside the tube
Location of hotel is close to main Plaza.
Restroom is too small and hard to get in and out off due to door being so close to sink. Check out experience was horrible. Staff member Bianet was not pleasant but rude and had us waiting with no explanation of what the delay was for going to open the door of parking structure where our car was parked. When we asked the delay she just answered "I'm on my way to open the door" but still had us waited around 10 more minutes.
we discovered that money had been taken from her purse, and a cherished rosary she got in Spain was missing.

The decorations were really nice.
Staff was loud early in the morning. Woke me and my granddaughter up The WiFi was horrible. I had work to do and I was not able to complete it. The WiFi is one of the reasons I chose this hotel to stay. Do not promote it if you are not going to meet the need.
Location excellent. Cold pool so refreshing. Restaurant and cafe right by the pool.
Older but very well maintained for 1958 build! Shared balcony but didn’t use. AC was smelly, stale water maybe.
Within walking distance of town square Includes parking, which is 2 blocks up. Hacienda style hotel, with great central space.
Room was small and restroom was very small, odd situation to get in and out. They offer breakfast on their site, but we did not receive food, they say they no longer offer it 🙃
This property was lovely and charming. Very clean and the staff were excellent, very helpful.
Location has a very good and a very bad factor. It's very close to the plaza, that's convenient. There's an open patio bar right across the street which is open until 3am, that didn't let us rest. We stay here for 3 days, People start working in the morning, that is fine but they talk one to another at the other side of the patio very loud! I had to ask around 7am to don't be so loud we couldn't sleep! I had a room right in the middle of the patio, across the water fountain, right in the middle of all the action. At the moment of check out, we were told we need to wait so they can check our room, guy after 20min, comes back with a dirty towel with they are saying they are going to charge me for the towel. I was in shock! I asked why do I need to pay for a towel that only need to be send to the laundry, they argue that that stain is not going away because they just try to wash it and it didn't work. My husband grabs the towel, goes back to the room wash it and comes back with a clean towel. They said they are still going to make me pay for it because it's not completely clean! Are you kidding me?!?!?! it look pretty white already, do you expect people to not to use your towels or WHAT??? If you are staying here READ the paper they make you sign when you check in, that said that dirty towels and I don't know how many things you will be charge if they are not in good shape. (Checking in they said sigh here at the bottom, and you don't keep a copy) Never coming back.
You can hear everything outside of your room. All employees were loud at early hours in the morning. I'm not saying they can't talk, but the design of the patio and the house make it a very enclose sound, you can hear everything from side to side if you speak with low voice. We party like everyone else in Tequila, we did not want to be waken up by employees early Saturday or Sunday morning. Club across the street IT'S LOUD, you can't control that. Your employees make us feel extremely upset when they wanted me to pay for a towel, stating that it was too dirty, specially after my husband wash it and it look clean. We travel all over the world and never seen something so stupid. It's not about the money, the ridiculous scenario we had to face. One more thing, parking is a block down the street and it covers you until 12pm. Anything after that you have to pay extra per hour.
Excelent choice to stay in town. So close to everything dining and touring was so easy finding. I will stay again for sure!
Beautiful location and very historical atmosphere.
No parking on premises. Old school room key with difficult to use deadbolt. Old school AC unit. Small room with no luggage room. Bed was hard!
The hotel was centrally located.
This hotel is old and has not been kept up. The towels in the room had big holes, the room smelt terrible, only 1 bath towel per room and the load music from across the street kept us awake until 3:30 am. DO NOT STAY HERE!
Location and atmosphere. Staff were friendly.
Parking is a bit scary and far anway especially when reception staff emphasize that damage or theft are not covered by the hotel. Last time we stayed there was a little breakfast but not this time.
Everything
Nothing
Awesome
Close to every thing needed
Location
Dangerous broken corner on glass table top near bed. No internet in room. No on-site parking. And the off site parking wouldn't open until 8 am on our Sunday departure date. And parking attendants arrived late. Bathroom had to be cleaned before we could use it. No coffee pot in room, nor coffee service as promised. An extremely poor choice even at half the price.
Location
Space was very small and cramped. Closet and bed were old and need updating. Air conditioning went out, was not working. Restroom size was uncomfortable, it was Too small and the restroom door hit the sink.
I like the authentic vintage Mexican style it was I was looking for.
But I didn't like that you could tell it was the best taken care of. The AC was so old, it didn't work half of the time and the other times it was extremely loud. There was no ventilation in the room so it has that muggy smell to it.
Location is the top of this place! 2 blocks from center of city, surround of restaurants, cafés, shops, etc.
lots of noice from the common area of the hotel, it was very unpleasant to hear screems of kids, adults, late at night....
The worst hotel ever el personal de may poca class I have stay in tequila before love it bad this place not even for free
Personal
A/c was dripping water and freezing the room.
Super close distance to the plaza. About 2 min walk
No breakfast available
I can’t think of anything
We were asked if they could inspect the room when we turned in our room key upon checking out. Had to wait until she came back out to tell us the room was okay. Found this insulting as if we were going to steal old towels or damage something. The electrical plug cover above the sink in the bathroom was hanging off the wall when we arrived but that was never fixed during our stay. So not sure of their standards and what is “okay”
Very decorative and location was great
The elevator had a mind of its own. Faster to walk the stairs
Great location right in the center of tequila. If you drive there, the parking is very convenient. Beautiful space with an open air lobby that has two very cute pet turtles. Can’t recommend this place enough.
Location
No hot water
Location is great. Staff is friendly and hotel is nice. However, rooms are small and bathroom looked a little old. In general a good place to stay if location is one of the most important attributes you are looking for.
bathroom looked a little old.
location
Hotel was outdated, small and uncomfortable, pretty pricey for what we got!
No luggage rack
The location was great, the room was clean and surprisingly quiet at night. The lobby decor, the free parking, coffee outside the room. The staff was helpful.
I do like an open window for fresh air ..the room had no window.
it is named after my wife. This is an old style, Mexican hotel, with traditional architecture we really like it there is a turtle. and fresh coffee in the morning.
The price is kind of high. But we like the place so we keep going back.
location was great.
the rooms are small for the price, the smell of musk/ humid, not clean, mold in the shampoo dispenser, closet smelled heavy of mold, musky. No Iron, hair dryer and to many unnecessary rules/ inspections.
Na
They charged me 60 dollars because there was makeup stains in the face towel and some sheets had a dirt stain but aren’t they suppose to wash all the linnen anyway after our stay
Everything about this place is wonderful...
