Reviewed Jan 17, 2026Deuxième séjour au Simplon Hostel pour le festival Eurosonic. Super emplacement pour tout faire à pied. Nous avions loué l'appartement pour 4 personnes. Totalement indépendants de l'auberge, nous avons passé un très bon séjour au calme.

Ik vond de gemeenschappelijke douche en wc niet prettig. Ik miste vooral iets om mijn toilettas op te zetten. Een plankje of krukje. Ik vond 100 euro voor 1 nacht zonder ontbijt en sanitair toch nog best aan de prijs.

Reviewed Oct 31, 2025Mijn eigen verwachtingen liggen niet zo hoog bij zo'n prijs, maar alles viel mee en/of was juist top. Het inchecken ging soepel, alles was overzichtelijk, vlot, ontbijt was echt top, ik weet niet of het was omdat ik erg moe was of omdat het bed lekker lag, maar ik sliep top in dit bed. Sfeer was ook goed binnen, alles was gewoon echt nice, en voor zo'n prijs, nice hoor.

Bohužiaľ cena je absolútne premrštená za ponúkanú úroveň služieb ... Hromadná izba pre 11 ľudí disponuje vŕzgajúcimi najlacnejšími poschodovými posteľami, nepohodlnými matracmi, celkovo málo miesta aj úložného priestoru, chýbajúce normálne skrinky. Navyše bez akéhokoľvek závesu na posteli, bez zásuvky, menšieho svetla pri hlave, ... Kúpeľne spoločné, sprcha dokonca na inom poschodí než izba. Za danú cenu veľké sklamanie v porovnaní s inými hostelmi v Holandsku

Reviewed Oct 25, 2025Waren schon öfter im Simplon und war wieder durchweg positiv. Wie immer wirklich überall sehr sauber. Das Frühstück wie immer auch super mit leckerer Wurstauswahl und verschiedenem Käse, Brötchen, Croissant, Marmeladrn, Eier, Gurken un Tomaten, Joghurt, Orangensaft, Tee und Kaffee. Es gibt einen Kühlschrank für die Gäste und eine Mikrowelle. Mann darf auch den Frühstücksraum benutzen, wenn man kein Frühstück gebucht hat und das Geschirr ebenso. Es gibt zum Lernen, arbeiten oder chillen für jeden einen gemütlichen Platz. Auch ein Sofa und Fernseher. Es gibt ein Regal mit Gesellschaftsspielen und Büchern sowie Dart. Draussen ist ein Innenhof mit 2 Bäumen und verschiedenen Sitzgelegenheiten der mit schöner Beleuchtung zum Verweilen einlädt. Die Mitarbeiter dort sind alle sehr freundlich sodass man sich willkommen und wohl fühlt. Es herrscht eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Wir werden das nächste Mal wieder bei Simplon buchen.

Wij hadden een tweepersoonskamer die precies bood wat we zochten: een bed en een ontbijtje. Geen luxe, gewoon simpel (zoals de naam al zegt). Locatie hartstikke goed, vlakbij het centrum en een goede brouwerij om de hoek.

I understood why the hostel was asking to keep quiet after 11pm. The walls transfer quite a lot of noise. The ventilation in the room could be better.

Some of guests can make nooce during the nights even u tell them to stop but this is not about hostel its about people and just remember this if u are sensitive 🤷🏻♀️
