We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is right in front of the beach, the rooms are beautifully decorated, and the pool is large and spotless. The restaurant serves delicious, generous meals. The best part, though, was the staff – everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even organized an amazing safari for us. Highly recommended!

Nice, comfortable place directly on a clean beach. Laid back staff that were very helpful. Good food and a great pool. We were lucky to rest up here after three weeks constant travel and really enjoyed our stay. Thank you all.

Etwas Lärm von der Straße.

Spent last night before heading to the airport - great place straight at the beach with a very nice pool. We were allowed for late check out - thanks a lot!

The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The property is directly on the beach (although current is too strong for swimming). The room was large with plenty of storage space. The breakfast was good - eggs, fruit, toast, yogurt, coffee/tea. The staff was friendly.

The bathrooms need a good clean as there was a good bit of mold in the shower. The door to the toilet didn’t close. We found a few roaches in the room.

We stayed for 11 nights and had a great experience. The pool area is truly special, with an amazing ocean view. The beach is very clean and calm, and we were pleasantly surprised by how few people were there. It felt very private, and you can go from the pool to the ocean in seconds. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The villa has a real beachfront holiday feel and is absolutely beautiful. The owner is a genuinely kind, friendly, fun, and helpful person. He organised three different tours for us, and we were very happy with all of them. It was one of the most relaxing and well-organised holidays we’ve had. The staff were also very nice and helpful. We would definitely come back. If you are looking for a relaxing, comfortable place with beautiful views, this is the one. Thank you so much!

We genuinely loved everything.

Wunderbare Oase nicht weit von Ahangama und perfekt gelegen für einen Zwischenstopp am Weg Richtung Galle. Wir blieben leider nur 1 Nacht - bei der Strandlage und dem feinen Pool kann man aber auch definitiv ein wenig länger verweilen. Unser Zimmer war wirklich groß und geräumig. Da das Hotel gleich neben einer stark befahrenen Straße liegt, hört man zwar einiges an Straßenlärm, aber ansonsten war es sehr ruhig und angenehm.

Die Unterkunft Villa Jungle & Wiener, die nur 4 Zimmer hat, liegt direkt an einem sehr langen, fast menschenleeren Strand. Zum Hotel gehört ein schöner Garten und ein kleiner Pool, wo sich einige Liegen inclusive Sonnenschirme befinden. Am Strand gibt es zusätzlich Strandkissen sowie genügend Liegen und ausreichend bunte Sonnenschirme, um tolle Strandtage zu verbringen. Mehrere Tische und Stühle am Strand laden zum Essen und Trinken ein, denn die Unterkunft hat ein hervorragendes Restaurant mit vielen leckeren Gerichten. Auch ist es ein schöner Ort, um den Sundowner zu genießen. Am Strand gab es während meines Aufenthaltes immer höhere Wellen, und anscheinend ist das Baden wegen der Strömung nicht ganz ungefährlich. Die Zimmer sind mit älteren Möbeln ausgestattet, was einen kolonialen Charme ausmachte. Das Bett mit Moskitonetz war bequem, es gab einen Schrank mit Safe, Klimaanlage, Kühlschrank, 2 Tische plus Stühle, Wasserkocher für die Zubereitung von Tee oder Kaffee, ein großes Bad mit Ablageflächen und einen Föhn. Das Frühstück war immer lecker. Es gab frisch gebrühten Tee, Toast, Butter, Marmelade, Würstchen, Eierspeisen, Joghurt, eine Früchteplatte sowie immer einen frisch gepressten Obstsaft. Das gesamte Personal war immer sehr freundlich. Der Koch namens "Sugar", der leckere Gerichte zubereitet hat, konnte sogar sehr gut Deutsch.

Die vorhandenen Liegen incl. Sonnenschirme können tagsüber gratis von Tagesgästen benutzt werden, wenn diese dann während ihres Aufenthaltes etwas zum Essen und Trinken bestellen. Während meinem Urlaub ist es dann leider vorgekommen, dass sich fast 10 Personen bis hin zum Kleinkind diesen Vorteil zu nutzen machten. Dies hatte zur Folge, dass es mit der Ruhe dann vorbei war. Es ging sogar soweit, dass sich diese Personen in den Pool begaben (trotz Hinweis "private pool"), um zu baden, Selfies zu machen, etc. Erst nachdem sich ein deutscher Gast, der mit dem Hoteleigentümer befreundet ist, über den Lärm beschwert hatte, wurden die Tagesgäste gebeten, den Pool zu verlassen.

Das Hotel liegt an einem wunderschönen ruhigem Strand. Der Pool ist noch relativ Neu und wirklich schön mit Blick zum Meer. Das ist der große Pluspunkt der Unterkunft. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig.

Das Frühstück hätte ein bisschen umfangreicher sein können. Wir haben Fruchtsaft und SriLanka Spezialitäten vermisst. Leider gibt es kein Familienzimmer, obwohl die Größe der Räumlichkeiten es her geben würden zwei Doppelbetten zu platzieren. Das Badezimmer ist renovierungsbedürftig. Leider viel schimmlige Stellen.

De hotelkamers zijn aan renovatie toe. Het ontbijt had gevarieerde gekund.

Les extérieurs avec le jardin, la piscine et l'accès à la plage sont MAGNIFIQUES et le tout est très bien entretenu.

Hotel surcôté. Si les extérieurs sont idylliques, les chambres sont quelconques avec une décoration vieillotte, fortes odeurs de moisissure avec des sols humides à souhait. Nous n'avions pas rencontré ces problèmes dans nos autres (2) hébergements de la côte sud du Sri Lanka. Les petits déjeuners sont corrects en quantité et qualité mais pourquoi n'y a t'il qu'un seul choix de petit-dejeuner continental, un choix de petit déjeuner Sri Lankai serait appréciable, surtout quand on reste plusieurs jours. La location de scooter a été un calvaire. 3 Scooters en 3 jours, dont le second un veritable danger roulant que nous avons rendu rapidement (après avoir frolé l'accident) mais de ce fait notre programme de visite de la journée a été fortement chamboulé (perte de temps pour en avoir un autre). Au vue de ces problèmes, le manager nous a proposé de payer 1 jour de location de moins, geste commercial correct, sauf qu'au moment de payer, et bien finalement non ! Le restaurant de l'hotel est basique, riz sec, jus de fruit frais qui ont le même goût que ce que vous achetez en supermarché. De biens meilleurs à proximité sur la plage. Pour finir, mefiez-vous des services proposés par le manager qui vous offre un transfert hotel-aéroport pour 35 000 roupies alors que nous avons trouvé par nous-même à 20 000 roupies. L'arnaque !

L’emplacement sur la plage , la piscine et le jardin extrêmement bien entretenu, le personnel, la possibilité de commander à boire ou à manger au bord de l’eau, on se sent vraiment en vacances !

La chambre n’était pas très propre, draps tachés et troué, sur les 5 jours passés nous aurions apprécié un coup de ménage dans la chambre

Was a nice stay

Очень понравилось место. Дом в колониальном стиле, выход сразу на пляж. Отличная, ухоженная территория, собственный бассейн. Кафе рядом, с хорошей кухней. Великолепные завтраки с фруктами, очень дружелюбный персонал. Тихий спокойный отдых, рекомендую, если никуда не спешите.

Amazing value for money. Boutique vibes. Quiet. Nice swimming pool and direct access to the beach. Breakfast was nice too. AC was quiet. It was clean. Room was spacious. I loved it.

Food at the restaurant was not that great. Breakfast was nice though so this should not affect your stay. Staff were friendly but they need more training on how to carry a conversation as sometimes they were a bit abrupt. But I didn’t feel it was intentional. I would definitely stay there again!

Having both the sea and the pool was such a luxury. The room was large and cool, with great AC. The chicken schnitzel was also a highlight, along with the friendly staff.

The restaurant attached was very expensive for the quality of food, and the bathroom could do with a clean.

Location at most beautiful beach in Sri Lanka Close to main road but you can not hear it in SEA view rooms, you just hear the ocean. Čudovita lokacija tik ob plaži. Privat bazen, ležalniki ob bazenu in na plaži. Prijazno in ustrežljivo osebje. Super zajtrk in ostala hrana v njihovi restavraciji.

To był zdecydowanie najlepszy hotel, w jakim zatrzymaliśmy się podczas pobytu na Srilance. W ciągu dwóch tygodni odwiedziliśmy aż osiem hoteli, więc mamy porównanie — ten okazał się absolutnym numerem jeden. Jeśli ktoś szuka ciszy, spokoju i pełnego relaksu, to jest to idealne miejsce. Hotel położony jest tuż przy niemal prywatnej plaży, z piękną, kameralną zatoczką i wygodnymi leżakami. W okolicy jest bardzo mało ludzi, co pozwala naprawdę odetchnąć. Restauracja serwuje pyszne, starannie przygotowane dania, a cały obiekt jest świetnie wyposażony. Pokoje są duże, klimatyzowane, z wygodnymi łazienkami. Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje przemiła i pomocna obsługa, zawsze dyskretna, dbająca o komfort i bezpieczeństwo gości. Z przyjemnością tu wrócimy. Wielkie brawa i gratulacje dla całego zespołu!

Wspaniały hotel przy samej plaży. Piękne pokoje, czysto, zadbane otoczenie hotelu, świetny basen i lazurowa woda. Na plaży leżaki. Obok restauracja hotelu z pysznymi śniadaniami i Dania z karty z wyśmienitymi rybami. Obsługa i właściwi bardzo miło i serdeczni. Opiekują się swoimi gośćmi na najwyższym poziomie. Plaża przy hotelu czysta i zadbana, można pływać jak są mniejsze fale. Zaprzyjaźniona małpka co rano przychodzi po owoce na śniadanie. Na pewno to wrócimy

Nie mam uwag oprócz małej poprawki leżaków pod przykryciem przy plaży - warto poprawić ich jakość i zadaszenie.

Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und groß. Der Pool ist ein Traum und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr hilfsbereit & freundlich. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen.

De ligging aan het strand is mooi maar verder is er niets. Het onderhoud van kussens en ligbedden verdient aandacht.

Çok sakin, huzurlu bir alanda yer alan tesis mükemmel manzaraya sahip. Havuzu Sri Lanka da gördüğüm en berrak havuz ve bahçenin ortasında okyanus karşısında dşaga sesleriyle ile inanılmaz rahatlatıcı. Trenimiz erken saatte diye bize paket kahvaltı hazırladılar ve o kader güzeldi ki. Sahibi ve tüm personel sizi memnun etmek için elinden geleni yapıyor. Ütü ihtiyacım vardı rica ettim hemen yardımcı oldular. Kahvaltı mükemmel çeşitli bol bol meyve ve leziz kahvaltı. Oda tertemiz ve banyo güzel kokuyordu. Sıcak su harika. Gün batımını burada izlemelisiniz.

We stayed in 11 hotels/villas during our stay in Sri Lanka and this was our favourite! Stunning location, right on a wide stretch of sandy beach. A few other restaurants close by or about 15mins by tuk tuk to Unawatuna. Also 5 mins from the train station, took the train to Galle. Amazing pool, kept very clean and the water is clear which is strangely unusual for Sri Lanka so well done to them. Also quite warm. The pool is private to those staying at the villa. There’s only 4 rooms in the villa which is located next to the restaurant where breakfast is served and they do great food all day. Very good breakfast, the usual affair of fruit platter, yoghurt, eggs (we enjoyed Sri Lankan omelette), toast and tea/coffee. Rooms are large, we also had our 4yr old on a separate bed and a baby in a cot, all fitted in the room easily. Shower and toilet are in separate rooms which is good.

Die Unterkunft ist drinnen etwas „altbackener“ Eingerichtet. Alles jedoch im Guten Zustand. Leider hatten wir in beiden Zimmern kein angenehmen Geruch, was etwas den Aufenthalt gedämpft hat. Da man sich aber eher draußen aufgehalten hat, war es jedoch nicht ganz so schlimm

Its look like its a new bildung but doesnt feel like that. Not nice smell in the room.

Nice facilities, beautiful room with shaded pool. Garden well maintained. Staff helpful and kind. Cute dogs around. Overall peacefull environment. We stayed after leaving the room by the pool which was nice gesture.

Gas station behind the property with petrol smell. Cleaning room could be good, changing garbage at least. If planning to swim on the beach in front beware of big waves.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa! The hotel is fantastic, with a newly built pool and a lovely restaurant offering incredible food—especially the grilled jumbo prawns. It’s right next to a stunning beach with high waves and sunny weather every day. A perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

Super location on a BEAUTIFUL beach (a bit too wavy for much swimming though 😉) Lovely food! Very friendly and helpful staff! Loved the spacious rooms. Short tuk-tuk ride to surfing locations.

Both me and my boyfriend loved everything about our stay here! The beach is a stunning, long strip of white sand and blue waves. Perfect to relax and unwind. Plus you are 5 mins walk from some fruit shops, local bakeries and mini markets. The hotel has a restaurant and bar on the beach which is not only serving really tasty food at a reasonable price, but also providing guests with sunbeds and parasols. You would never leave :) They only have 4 rooms, directly on the beach, huge and with a big comfy bed, fan, AC, fridge and hot water. Really everything you need. The owner is a welcoming and kind man who has been doing this for years and designed the whole place. I recommend to everyone to spend a couple of nights in this paradise 🌞🌴

Obviously for westerners by the food available. The place is opened to non -residents who come to eat and drink and use the beach facilities (lounge chairs). Very busy. As resident, if you don’t get up early to get a lounge chair with shaders, then you don’t get the facility you pay for, whereas non-residents have for free. No Sri Lankan food /breakfast (or to order in afternoon for a curry).

Great location of the property and really helpful staff. Rooms are exactly as pwr description, not a premium property but very nice, clean and with sea facing rooms. Totally recommend it.

Quite, long and clean beach where I can see both sunrise and sunset. No shacks, shops or fisherman village on the beach. Beach front villa. Clean good food.

A very nice, quiet and intimate hotel with a beautiful garden. The service is helpful and very nice. If you are lucky, you can observe turtles in their natural habitat on the beach.

Restaurant (under same management as villa) hosting a dance party with professional music setup until 1pm in the morning. Unable to hear own thoughts, let alone sleep. Guests should be warned when booking if events like this are being hosted at the hotel.

Great beachfront place. The rooms were with high cealings and very much space. Owner can take care of everything if you would like to.

Breakfast was rather modest and routine. Would have loved more variety.

Friendly, local and right on the beach, Villa Jungle offers comfortable accommodation and spacious rooms. It is a quiet beach, making it great for families. There is not much in the line of bars, restaurants and shopping in the immediate area, but the Villa's restaurant is on site.

Great place, friendly hotel staff and an amazing beach in front of the guest house.

The accommodation is located right on the beach. It includes a restaurant where a very good breakfast is served. The apartments are big, clean and very nice.
