Airport 4 Season Transit Hotel

Perfect stay! Would comback again. I had an amazing time at this hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful for us to everything. The room was very clean and calm and had everything we needed.location was perfect too. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting sri lanka.

Great little hotel short drive from airport. Good communication from pre arrival to departure. Very clean rooms and friendly staff, especially the lovely lady who gave us breakfast.

There was nothing bad we experienced

Proximity to the airport and hosts Dinusha and Chami are also extremely gracious and helped a lot.

The premises are barely correct. But the room is not isolated from outside and there is a road with high transit of cars and trucks. We couldn’t sleep in our night before our flight.

This was my second time staying at Airport 4 Season Transit Hotel, and once again it was a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. One thing I really appreciated was the freedom they gave guests to access the rooftop and viewing areas at any time, even during the night, which was perfect for my plane spotting activities. The hotel is located very close to the airport runway, making it an excellent choice for aviation enthusiasts. My main purpose for booking was plane spotting, and the hotel fully met my expectations. The rooftop provides a great view, and I was able to enjoy aircraft photography throughout my stay. The breakfast was also excellent, with delicious local food and generous portions. Everything was fresh and well prepared. Overall, this is a fantastic place for both transit passengers and plane spotters. The friendly staff, convenient location, and plane spotting opportunities make it a unique and memorable stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. Pros: ✅ Very friendly and helpful staff ✅ Excellent breakfast ✅ Great location near the runway ✅ Perfect for plane spotting and aviation photography ✅ Flexible access to viewing areas, even at night ✅ Good value for money

If you're a very light sleeper, you may hear aircraft arriving and departing due to the hotel's proximity to the airport. Personally, I didn't mind it at all, as I stayed here specifically for plane spotting and aviation photography.

The staff booking us in were very freindly and welcoming. Its only about five minutes away from the airport by taxi or tuktuk

The taxi we ordered did not arrive. Don't rely on them ordering one. Nothing much around it food wise.

I didnt like it..

The breakfast is very little items.. the electricity comes and goes.. the internet connection is bad.,

Near the airport , offers a simple breakfast

Sheet could have been cleaner

Very kind and professional staff and 5 minutes to the airport. Great value for money with the airport transfer included. We used this hotel for a brief stay to rest and freshen up before our overnight flight, so for us, the hotel was perfect.

Questo locale e molto bello. Pure staff e gentile. Camera piu pulito. Cibo srilankese bonissimo.

Stayed here for one night before heading to Sigiriya. The best thing about this hotel is the location — it’s very close to the airport, which makes it super convenient if you arrive late or have an early start. The room was a bit dimly lit and overall pretty average, but it was clean enough and did the job for a short stay. Nothing fancy, just a simple place to rest. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to sleep before continuing your trip, this works fine. Don’t expect luxury — think of it as a practical stopover near the airport.

Friendly accommodating Lovely young lady provided an exceptional breakfast

There was nothing it was a stop over for a forward journey

Solution parfaite pour attendre son vol.

Vicinanza all’aeroporto. Servizio navetta. Pulizia della camera. Gentilezza dello staff.

O alojamento é bem localizado, perto do aeroporto, e o pequeno almoço é bastante agradável.

Location and cleanliness

A great place to stay overnight before a flight. The owner and staff were very helpful. Free airport transfers.

Proximité aéroport, hôtel simple, propre, fonctionnel et personnel sympa

Przemiła obsługa, świetne miejsce na oddech przed lotem, mieliśmy także zapewniony transfer, dzikuję i szczerze polecam

We felt very welcome from the first moment and they were very helpfull. When we come back we will stay there again. Such a nice place. They have also a good airportservice. Paul, Greet Belgium

Nothing

Great first experience with 4 seasons. Very reasonably priced and just few mins away from the airport. Very convenient for both quick visits and longer stays. The staff was fantastic and special mention to Chamith for his support and always smiling attitude. Speaks good English and had great recommendations for local experiences. Additionally they also offer airport pick ups at off hours which is highly convenient.

Super consigliato

Posizione strategica vicino all'aeroporto. Cena in terrazza. Navetta gratuita verso l'aeroporto anche all'alba.

This property is owned by a man and his wife. The wife is so kind, friendly and accommodating. She was very anxious to be sure that all of our needs were taken care of.

Mosquitos, and the sheets did not seem to be fully clean.

It was my 4th or 5th stay in the past 15 years and I always choose this fantastic place the night before my flight back home. Rooms are correctly sized and spotless clean. Very quiet despite they are practically on the runway (the airport is just 5/7 minutes away). The host is just amazing: caring, nice, welcoming and professional. If you book a dinner the day before you will experience REAL Srilankan food. Since my last visit (2022) they also made some renovation works Marin the location even more beautiful.

Everything was just perfect

Friendly staff, on time airport pick up and drop service. Hotel is very close to airport. Room was spacious and a large comfortable double bed.

Rien

Short distance from the airport very. Convenient after a late night arrival. Free pickup was a bonus, easily managed. Basic but clean facilities served our. one night stay very well, Staff super friendly and. helpful, able to organise onward transport. Enjoyed breakfast in an airy dining room. Excellent value.

An electric kettle in the room would have been nice.

Good value for money. Airport transfer.

We spotted more than 30 mosquitoes in the room whilst being there for only 5 hours. Very unpleasant experience that should’ve been taken care of ahead of our stay

Sir, Madam excellent carrying, good communication. Room location is perfect.

Only recommendation, Please kept in room ready to uses shampoo, tooth press. Tv in room, tea bag, watergutler .

Sehr sehr liebes Personal !

Polecam.

Sehr sauber, nähe Flughafen. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereite Leute.

Es gab nichts zum aussetzen

Excellent location, very close to the airport with free pick and drop service. Good clean room. Good value for money and overall choice for short stay.

Proximity to the airport can disturb sleep due to overflying planes.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Preislich auch in Ordnung

War alles okay

Free airport transport. Super friendly staff and owner. Clean rooms with necessary toiletries. Breakfast served to the room. Balcony view of aircraft landing and taking off—perfect for aviation lovers. Nearby restaurant with excellent Sri Lankan dishes like koththu roti and rice and curry.

Noise from nearby planes might disturb light sleepers. (Not for me at all)

I’ve traveled across Sri Lanka and met nothing but kindness and hospitality — except in this hotel. It was by far the worst experience I had in the entire country. I informed them clearly that I would arrive at 4 PM. I showed up on time, only to be left waiting outside in the heat for nearly 40 minutes. When I expressed frustration, the manager (a lady) responded sarcastically, saying, “So what? Some people wait over an hour.” Completely unprofessional and rude. also when I ride the care, there was a gecko in the car! as you can see in the picture! can you imagine the disgusting thing!! At checkout, my card (which works globally) had a temporary issue from my country’s side, and I didn’t have enough cash at that moment. Instead of trying to help or understand, the manager spoke to me with zero respect, blaming me entirely. The driver they use also became aggressive and acted like I was trying to scam them — while I had already sent the full payment via transfer. On top of everything, communication was difficult because they don’t understand English well, which made resolving the situation even harder. I’ve stayed at budget and luxury places across Sri Lanka — all were beautiful experiences. But this hotel was a disgrace to Sri Lankan hospitality. I would honestly rather sleep in the street than deal with people like that again. Completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and rude. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

Staff Clean Confortable Location And they offer 1 free droop for aéroport

Very helpful and friendly staff. Handy free lift to the airport. Clean and comfortable large room

Nothing

It was a clean big room, good air con, good clean bathroom, free pick up from the airport, The host was very professional, They sent me through WhatsApp picture of the pick up point at the airport, picture and contact number of the driver, who came quickly even if our flight was late at night. It wasn't too noisy either, I slept without earplugs and I only heard one plane. Room had water and the host offered us a hot drink upon arrival. Close to the airport, it was perfect as we landed late and left early the morning after and we just wanted some good hours of rest which we had.

Pick-up by hotel personnel after midnight worked out smooth. AC worked great! Breakfast was delicious. We were asking for a taxi or Tuk Tuk that would give us a tour. One of the hotel staff offered to give us a tour and also brought us to a great boat tour through the Negombo lagoon. It is a two-star hotel, so keep expectation accordingly!

Bathroom light didn't work.

Great room, clean and comfortable, near the airport and free drop off at the airport. They even prepared a little breakfast even though we had to leave early before usual breakfast time

Wifi was not the best...

Nice and helpful staff. Clean room, with AC. Good location being close to the airport, not much around. Perfect for a one night stop next to Colombo airport.

A bit loud in the morning being on the road, but we had to wake up early anyway.

Extremely comfortable bed and very reliable. I needed a few hours sleep before leaving for the airport at 1am. The driver was waiting in reception for me ready to go at 1am. It’s very handy for the airport only a couple of minutes drive away.

The road is very busy near the airport so I recommend you bring earplugs for a better sleep.

Good and comfortable

Nice people, nice place Thank you

Clean and good value

Eenvoudig overnachtingshotelletje vlak bij het vliegveld. Superlieve mensen. Lekker ontbijtje.

We paid for the breakfast but there was no breakfast provided by the staff. Reason restaurant was under construction.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my recent trip to Sri Lanka! The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. It’s just a 5-minute ride from the airport, which made it super convenient for my travel plans. The stay was very comfortable overall, and to top it off, it was amazingly affordable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great value.

Well cared for in general. I could have suggested what I liked to eat & they obliged. I will recommend this place ideal for those intransit.

No TV

I had a great experience at this hotel during my short stay. I arrived quite late for check-in, and since my flight was early the next morning, I needed to check-out by 6 am. The hotel was very accommodating and made sure I could settle in without any issues. My booking included a complimentary breakfast, and since I checked in late and would be checking out early, they kindly served me the breakfast as my dinner since I hadn't eaten yet. It was a thoughtful gesture. The airport drop-off service was another highlight. It made getting to the airport stress-free and much more convenient, especially with my tight schedule. Overall, the hotel really went above and beyond to make my stay as smooth and hassle-free as possible. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone with an early flight or a tight schedule!

Great location with close proximity to the airport. Easy and included airport transfers. Wonderful morning breakfast. Good location to do plane spotting if you’re into watching aircraft.

Currently areas under construction and maintenance.

Simple no frills for transit travel
