You can't check in until 4pm, which I think is a bit late as you have to check out by 10.30am Quite a grubby place, hand rail was so sticky and carpets were filthy. To get to the boot bar you have to go outside, past the kitchen and storage area. The pics promise a selection of Ales but only two avaliable (both dark) This isn't really a hotel, more of a backpackers hostel. Overpriced at £230 for a night.

La parte migliore della struttura è il pub (Boots bar). La posizione è magnifica anche se un po’ scomoda da raggiungere con i mezzi pubblici.

La struttura è un po’ datata e la camera un po’ piccola, ma l’atmosfera è comunque magnifica Il persona del bar gentilissimo, un po’ neo quello dell’albergo. Colazione con una buona scelta al buffet, un po’ meno i menù scozzesi.

The quality of the room by no means matches the price tag. Basics only, not even a glass for water. HWS sounds like a helicopter when operating. The most disappointing thing is the noise. No door between pub tables and stairs. We were at the top of stairs and felt like we were in the pub. Difficult to sleep then staff packing up at and of shift was ridiculous. The biggest disappointment of our UK trip so far. The guest is not considered here, you can’t book a table for dinner and breakfast is between 8.15am to 9.30am. You can imagine lots of guests trying to manoeuvre in a tiny area where the food is positioned. I guess this is minimise cost as it doesn’t enhance the service.

The location was great. Our first night along the NC500 located close off the road. The views from the property were beautiful.

We arrived on a Saturday (live music) so getting a table got dinner was an issue - but it all worked out.

Everything about the Clachaig Inn was incredible! The location was amazing, the staff were so nice, great breakfast, and the restaurant and the pub were a hidden gem.

Die Lage ist atemberaubend!!! Die Szenerie rundherum ist wundervoll....auch schon die Fahrt dorthin. Draußen sitzt man und staunt, drinnen hat man einiges zu probieren. Der Pub ist richtig klasse :) der Humor der Belegschaft ist ebenfalls sehr witzig;) Man kann dort den ganzen Tag verbringen und einiges neues entdecken.

Es gibt nicht wirklich was negatives....vielleicht dass tagsüber unheimlich viel los war, man musste für Getränke länger anstehen (wenn es auch vergleichsweise dann recht zügig ging) Die Zimmer sind für den Preis etwas spartanischer und dunkler, aber vollkommen okay und sauber. Auch eher gut zu wissen, als dass es wirklich negativ wäre. :)

This is the most amazing location!!! We wandered the area along streams and to the base of the mountain slope for half an hour just after dinner - magical. Easy to find and easy parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice to have the 18+ bar and dining area as well as the all ages space. Really enjoyable food, great vibe. Comfortable room with mountain view. Very happy.

La chambre est un peu rustique et vieillissante.

Die Lage ist unübertroffen, das Personal , mit dem wir Kontakt hatten, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das Haus bedarf einer gründlichen Überholung. Man kann sich nicht nur -bildhaft- auf vergangene Zeiten beziehen, sondern muss auch das Haus nach den heutigen Anforderungen ausrichten. Beispiele: Sitzflächen der Stühle sind schmuddelig, Heizkörper im Essraum sind grässlich schmutzig, Farbe (?) in der WC-Schüssel blättert ab etc. Es scheint, dass nichts mehr investiert wird.

Super locatie, op loopafstand naar de mooiste bergen en watervallen. Echte sfeer van een herberg zoals je die kent uit films, gezellig druk op zaterdagavond met lekker bier en live muziek met traditionele keltische instrumenten. Schotten zijn ook erg vriendelijk en maken graag een praatje met je daar. Heerlijk eten en ontbijt, vriendelijke bediening en zeer behulpzame schoonmaaksters. Ook fijn dat er 2 laadpaallocaties waren en voldoende parkeerplek.

Het was een beetje gehorig, zoals uit enkele recencies blijkt, maar gelukkig maken de meeste mensen het niet laat, dus weinig last van gehad. Is ook hoe je je instelt.

Es un sitio idílico en medio de la nada con unos paisajes espectaculares. Las habitaciones muy cómodas. La comida en el restaurante tambien muy bien. Nos ibamos pronto por la mañana y nos hicieron el favor de hacernos el desayuno para llevar.

Les horaires du diner inadaptés pour les familles... Tout ferme à 21h. Rigidité du personnel. Personnel plus focalisé sur un process à suivre qui sur le bien être des visiteurs. L'endroit pourrait être magique, mais ils en ont fait une "usine à touristes" pas très agréable.

Sehr nettes Personal, gute Ausstattung, ausgezeichnetes Restaurant und ein ausgiebiges Frühstücksangebot. Perfekt für Wandertouren. Betten sehr bequem und sauberes Bad.

Dirty carpets, old furniture, room smelt horribly of cooking oil (directly above kitchen). We did not stay. Worst hotel in a long time. Extremely poor value for money. Would recommend avoiding altogether.

Ein sehr nettes Hotel mit schönen Zimmern. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und das Bad scheint neu gemacht worden zu sein, die Handtücher ein träumchen 😊 Aus dem Fenster hat man eine atemberaubenden Aussicht. Wunderschön

I didn’t get to stay because the mold levels here gave me an asthma attack after being in the lobby only a few minutes. I haven’t had an asthma attack in 15 years. Do NOT stay here, the level of mold here is not only unhygienic but could make many people very ill. Please tear this place down and rebuild.

Rock hard beds, carpet so old and dusty that I sneezed all night, smelly, hot shower dodgy, 1 star but 5 star cost.

Muy bonito en un entorno sin igual. La zona de las habitaciones preciosa con cabañas. Todo limpio y la ubicación perfecta especialmente para ir a zonas de trekking. El desayuno bien. La habitación triple perfecta para un matrimonio y un niño (tres camas individuales)

Igual mucha gente por todos los sitios que cuando vas a una zona natural no te esperas pero entiendo q eso no es cuestión del alojamiento en si sino mas de la zona

Excellent stay at the Clachaig Inn! The drive there in itself is incredible with a wonderful ending at the inn. Rooms were comfortable and just what we needed. We hiked around the Inn and saw wild ponies. The breakfast was delicious, and it was a pleasant surprise to have live music on Saturday night at the pub. Highly recommend. And shout out to Gorgia, who recommended all the best places around for our exploring.

Es ist schon sauber, aber die Ecken und Heizung ist echt schmutzig. Das warme Wasser ging leider nicht. Auf keinen Fall eher anreisen, wurde sehr bissig empfangen

This is a difficult inn to review. I want to give it five stars because the location is just so extraordinary and for that reason alone, I recommend a stay here. The inn is nestled in the center of the hills and cliffs of Glencoe with tons of walking/hiking/climbing trails within walking distance, some that begin right on the property itself. Waking up every morning to the view was breathtaking and can never be matched.

The inn itself wasn't great, unfortunately. The room was uninspired. It actually reminded me a lot of the hostels I used to stay in in my youth, except that this was the most expensive stay in our two weeks in Scotland. What you are paying for, essentially, is access to the Glencoe area, which is ok but rather contrary to the backpacker/climber/alternative vibe the inn seems to be trying to project. For the price I would have expected, perhaps, a shower larger than a phone booth and curtains that weren't broken, for example. I also would have expected the WiFi to work. They claim that it is touch-and-go due to the mountain location, but somehow the main house and the hills themselves offered plenty of service. Our bedroom itself was the problem. I don't believe that it is impossible to improve this situation. I understand that the inn claims an emphasis on nature, but I am not asking for WiFi to go on TikTok or something. I was just trying to communicate with family and look up driving directions and hiking trails. Additionally, the food in the restaurant was less than mediocre and the staff was generally unfriendly or indifferent, minus a few lovely standouts. I would stay here again for the location, but only after checking to see if there are any other available guesthouses or b and b's in the area.

L’emplacement était super et la vue exceptionnelle. Le personnel est très sympathique et à l’écoute. Le restaurant au Rdc est bien pratique mais il ne faut pas arriver trop tard.

L’isolation phonique de notre chambre est à revoir.

Eine schöne Lage im Glen Coe. Das Personal war super freundlich. Frühstück war sehr gut und man hatte eine große Auswahl.

Der Preis ist zu hoch für das Ambiente. Ausblick aufs Blechdach… Das Bad im 60 er Jahre Stil….Die ganze Einrichtung ist abgewohnt inclusive der Fenster….

The location is awesome. We also had food at their restaurant and the food was great. The restaurant was busy and it could be hard to find a table. The service of the front desk staff can be improved a bit. Everything else is great.

Lo staff è stato gentilissimo, specialmente la signora alla reception che è stata adorabile e ci ha aiutato ben più di quanto ci aspettassimo. La location è da sogno, il pub informale ma con proposte anche vegane, buone.

Le stanze sono datate ma tenute abbastanza bene, da rivedere la pulizia dei bagni ma tutto sommato ok

Een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Van alle gemakken voorzien. En de locatie is natuurlijk geweldig! Daar wordt je echt sprakeloos van! Midden tussen de bergen… Echt fantastisch! ‘s avonds kun je lekker eten in het restaurant of in de pub die erbij zit. Prijzen voor eten en drinken zijn niet goedkoop, maar wel zeker weten de moeite waard! Veel keuze uit veel verschillende whiskey’s en verschillende bieren! Zalig! De volgende dag is een prima ontbijt buffet. Niet overdreven veel maar wel voor ieder wat wils.

Het was jammer dat er een bacterie in het drinkwater zat… maar dit is maar een tijdelijk probleem waar wij net mee te maken kregen… helaas.. wel werden er gratis flesjes drinkwater geregeld. Dus er werd zeker meegedacht!

Breakfast was delicious and the location was amazing! Loved the pubs and the easy access to hikes.

The staff were friendly, engaging and very helpful. One in particular who we talked to at breakfast time was very interested in the history of the area and shared a lot with us, which was fascinating. The location was also excellent, and there are very few other places to stay in the immediate area. The setting is also beautiful.

We felt as though we were staying in a pub, which given the price of the room, was not good value. Our room was noisy up until late evening, given the bar in below in the same building and people talking until late into the night outside. There was a green emergency light in the room which, although it looks insignificant by day, cast a ghostly green light into the room all night.

Location, location, location! It's a dream for those who enjoy the countryside with fantastic views all round. The staff were very friendly and the food and drink there was varied and very good.

For the cost I thought the room was a bit basic; everything was there but it just seemed a bit pokey and drab. Th rest ofthe facilities were fine.

The location, the boots bar was cozy. The room was big and spacious. The product in the bathroom was lovely.

The whole inn was really worn down. The bedroom was super boring, and there have been made no effort to make it look nice. The carpet in the room was obvious dirty. The bed was very small but comfy. There was a very small tv that didn’t work properly. The Bathroom floor was very dirty. The floor mat got blackish after I used it to the dry up the water that leaked out of the shower. The breakfast was very disappointing and only lasts about 1,5 hour. So it’s very cramped and there wasn’t much besides bread, yoghurt, ham, cheese, croissants and a muffins. Some more fruits and vegetables would have been nice. For the price for 1 night I would definitely not stay again. The price for sure didn’t match the quality.
