Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The room is very spacious and comfortable. It has everything you need, including AC, a fan, tea powder, and a well-functioning fridge. Everything was clean and convenient. I especially loved the sofa—it was so comfortable and honestly one of my favourite things about the room. Overall, I had a really pleasant and comfortable stay. ❤️
The food was a bit too expensive, but other than that, I have nothing else to complain about. Everything else was fine.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making every stay relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel also offers a beautiful lagoon view, which adds to the peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Rizman, who made our stay even more pleasant with his excellent service and warm hospitality. I would definitely recommend Trinco Lagoon to anyone looking for a good, clean, and comfortable place to stay in Trincomalee. It’s a reliable choice that offers great value and a memorable experience.

Bathroom could have nicer fittings and the room could have more plug sockets to charge phone and equipment. There was also a lot of bugs and geckos, but I understand this is inevitable in Sri Lanka.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2025Einfach alles, wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet mit allen was man benötigt. Auch die Sauberkeit des Zimmers war tadellos. Aber besonders erwähnenswert ist die unglaubliche Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter es wurde immer nachgefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist und ob wir noch etwas benötigen. Ein Mittarbeiter Namens Sajiriao mit dem wir längere Gespräche führten ist uns besonders im Herzen geblieben er hat uns sehr viele hilfreiche Informationen gegeben. Wir konnten uns jederzeit wenn wir Hilfe benötigten an ihn wenden. Vielen Dank dafür!!!

Posizione non centralissima, necessità di spostamenti in tuk tuk o altro per raggiungere mare o ristoranti/bar. Staff disponibile ma incompetente. Camere non sempre pulite basti pensare che alla mia seconda notte ho trovato una.blatta in camera. Dopo averlo fatto presente allo staff purtroppo non è stato possibile cambiare stanza in quanto l'hotel era pieno; e fino a qui tutto ok... il problema è sorto nel momento in cui lo staff, la sera del ritrovamento, mi aveva rassicurato che l'indomani la mai stanza sarebbe stata ripulita e le asciugamani e le lenzuola cambiate. Purtroppo il giorno dopo, al rientro dal mare, la stanza era esattamente uguale a come l'avevamo lasciata al mattino. Quando abbiamo chiesto spiegazione ci hanno detto che era nostro compito ricordare allo staff che la staza doveva essere pulita . Insomma un'esperienza terribile . Io non lo consiglierei!

De locatie zit niet bij de leukste restaurants en barretjes maar met een eigen tuktuk of een taxi tuktuk is het goed te doen!
