Wspaniały, spokojny pobyt. Hotel cichy, bardzo czysty, tuż przy plaży, schowany od zgiełku ulicy. Przestronny pokój z dużym, wygodnym łóżkiem. Śniadania pyszne, bardzo duże i sycące. Wyjątkowo gościnni właściciele, można poczuć się jak w domu. Polecam też dla dziewczyn podróżujących samych.

Extrem herzliche Menschen in der Unterkunft, die eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre geschaffen haben. Das Frühstück wird frisch und mit viel Liebe gemacht. Das Zimmer war sauber und schön.

En verdad esto depende de lo que busque cada uno. Yo iba con una amiga y sí que nos apetecía salir a cenar y tomar algo y rodearnos de gente. La zona de Trinco con algo de ambiente queda lo suficientemente alejada como para que tener que tirar de tuk tuk tanto para ir a la playa (la que hay enfrente es de pescadores y no había nada que nos ofreciera una sombra) como para cenar y demás. Además, a las 23:00 cerraban la puerta de acceso porque el señor se levantaba a las 4:00 y tenía que ir a dormir, por lo que también es un inconveniente si quieres estar algo más de tiempo

De familie zorgt echt voor je. Jacob, zijn vrouw en kinderen zijn allemaal erg vriendelijk en zorgen voor een goede beleving. De airco werkte uitstekend en we konden de tuktuk op een veilige plek parkeren. Het ontbijt was super!

Heel soms kon je de riolering ruiken als we een tijdje de deur uit waren geweest. Een keertje de kamer tussendoor schoonmaken was ook fijn geweest maar hij was erg schoon bij binnenkomst dus geen problemen.

Room was very ordinary, very small, no space, basin tap leaked, no hand-wash, the only suitable adaptor point was in bathroom for charging purposes.

Staff gentilissimo e super accogliente. Disponibili a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Colazione buonissima. Buona posizione, vicino a spiaggia. Una delle migliori cene di seafoods fatta.

Non è una delle spiaggia migliori ma con un tuk tuk si possono girare le spiagge a nord e sud raggiungibili molto facilmente.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber und ein abwechslungsreiches, leckeres Frühstück. Das Zimmer war von der Größe super. Die Lage war in Ordnung - man braucht aber ein Taxi/TukTuk um ins touristische Zentrum zu kommen.

Das Bett hat extrem gequietscht (bei jeder Bewegung). Die Duschwand war defekt, was das Badezimmer jedesmal überschwemmt hat. Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und es fehlt an Liebe bei der Einrichtung.

The family who run this guesthouse are wonderful, kind and attentive as is their gorgeous dog Frida. The location is right next to the beach. The breakfast was lovingly prepared.

Not the property’s fault but due to a number of new construction developments in the immediate vicinity the rooftop/outdoor space doesn’t have the best view - meaning it’s not the best choice if you’re wanting to read/relax outdoors in the evenings at the property. Probably because it was high season so rooms everywhere in the area are in demand but the price felt quite high. A pleasant enough base to come back to sleep and have breakfast rather than somewhere to hang out/unwind.

I highly recommend this place. We stayed at this hotel only for 4 nights but it was enough to fall in love. The hosts are amazing people who were really kind and warm-hearted throughout our stay. They have a cute cat and a fluffy dog btw 😄 it’s a 5-minute walk to the beach which was comfy. Wish you all the best❤️

L’accoglienza! I signori che gestiscono l’hotel sono meravigliosi. Una gentilezza e una disponibilità uniche. Preparano anche la cena se richiesto alla mattina (consigliato il piatto di pesce, strepitoso). La posizione è buona perchè è a due passi dal mare ma i “lidi” sono più verso Uppuveli (5 minuti di tuk tuk che può chiamare l’hotel per voi), se volete muovervi a piedi vi conviene cercare più vicino a Uppuveli.

La camera era molto spartana e piccolina, ma in relazione al prezzo è onestissima.

המיקום רחוק מהאזור המרכזי המתוייר, לנו היה נהג אז הסתדרנו. בהתחלה לא היינו מרוצים מחדר האמבטיה , אבל החליפו לנו חדר ביום למחרת לא מקום מפואר, אבל לנו היה מספק. לדעתנו תמורה נאה לתשלום

We stayed in a standalone apartment which offered great privacy. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The owner created a warm, welcoming space that felt just like home. It was a great stay for our family.

We experienced low water pressure in the shower at times, but this was a minor observation we could tolerate.

I had a very pleasant experience at the Tobiko Hotel. The rooms were clean, and the location couldn’t be better. But most importantly, the owners and staff are incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. They helped us with every question we had, whether it was renting a scooter, dolphin watching, snorkeling, or simply advice on which beach to choose or which temple to visit. I highly recommend this place.

Jacob the owner and his staff are very helpful and considerate. The atmosphere is very laid back. Breakfast was great. Will return Good Lord willing.

My only small complaint was WiFi signal strength on 3rd floor.

Local hotel run by lovely family. Room was spacious with walk in shower. Breakfast was breads, jam/relish and omelet with fresh fruit juice and coffee. Patchy wifi provided welcome relief from internet. Short walk to beach

Ďakujem Jacobovi a jeho rodine za starostlivosť, super jedlo, útulnú a čistú izbu. Sú to neskutočne milí ľudia a cítila som sa tu ako doma. Poloha je ideálna, len na skok od pláže Uppuveli 🌴 Vybrala by som si TOBIKO opäť 👌 Prajem veľa spokojných hostí a všetko dobré 🤍

De mensen zijn heel vriendelijk en zorgen voor een fijn verblijf. Het ontbijt was heel lekker. Ze hebben een hondje, daar speelden onze kinderen heel veel mee. De kamers zijn prima. Het is dichtbij het strand. We zagen daar de locals vis binnen halen, leuk om te zien. Iets verder van het centrum, maar met tuktuk goed te doen. Wij hebben hier 3 fijne nachten gehad.

ビーチに１分 朝食が美味しいーー食べきれない量 スタッフが皆親切で気が利く人ばかり 室内が清潔 コーヒを入れるためにお湯を頼んだら電気ポットと水を提供してくれました。 買ってきた食料を食べていたらお皿やコップを用意してくれた。

Family run hotel, very friendly and kind, about 50m from the beach, amazing breakfast. The room was spacious with all the comforts you might want.

Velmi milý pan majitel, který nás zavezl kamkoliv jsme chtěli. Pomohl nám zařídit výlet za delfíny a šnorchlováním přes jeho kamaráda. Jeho paní nám uvařila výbornou večeři. Snídaně byla chutná a bohatá. Naproti hotelu prodávali pivo, které si člověk mohl odnést na pláž a vychutnávat šumění oceánu. Kdybych měla cestu kolem vrátila bych se :-)

Ganz nah am Strand, Frühstück ist sehr ergiebig und lecker

Perfect for our needs as we arrived by night train from Colombo to meet friends the following days. Our hosts were very welcoming, kind and attended to all our needs whenever we asked. They waited for us to return “home” in the evening and it really did feel like home away from home. We felt very safe and cared for.The value for money was extraordinarily good.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The value for money is outstanding. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home from arrival. They were genuinely friendly, helpful with recommendations, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of freshly prepared options. Everything was high quality and it was the perfect way to start each day. Between the great value, exceptional hosts, and outstanding breakfast, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return and it’s right next to a beach.

Die Familie ist super nett und kümmert sich um alles was man braucht und möchte. Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach gehalten und sauber. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und lecker.

Lo que no me gusto es la playa, es una lástima que pudiendo ser paraíso tenga. La.playa tan sucia pero eso no tiene nada que ver con el alojamiento y la familia.

Personale molto gentile e disponibile! Buona anche la colazione. Abbiamo richiesto di anticipare la colazione e lo hanno fatto senza problemi. La struttura si trova praticamente sulla spiaggia e si trova a 5 Min in tuk tuk dalla zona un po' più viva.

Per quattro persone la stanza era un po' piccola.

The family running this hotel is incredibly warm and intentionally have created a space for travelling families. They were wonderful with my son, providing lots of suggestions on local places to visit to make our stay memorable. They recommended a operator to take us snorkelling (Kamal) and recommended marble beach aswell. Both highlights of our time in Trincomalee. Thanks so much! I also liked that outside of the room was a drying rack to dry all our beach clothes.

Towels were a little small but when I asked for a replacement they were very accomodating!

Although the accommodation is basic but good, the family is super friendly and makes it feel like a very warm home. They have a great breakfast and the location right at the beach is superb.

Although you have everything you need, the rooms are basic.

Het was een fijne plek in Trincomalee. De locatie ligt net buiten het drukke centrum, maar met een tuktuk ben je er in vijf minuten. Het hotel is eenvoudig, maar prima en de kamers waren brandschoon, zeker voor de prijs die je betaalt. Je zit bovendien op loopafstand van het strand. De familie is erg vriendelijk en gastvrij, en ze hebben een hele lieve hond. Ze maken desgewenst ook een heerlijke, volledig zelfgemaakte avondmaaltijd voor je. In vergelijking met de resorts die wij hebben gezien, zouden wij deze optie zeker opnieuw kiezen. Wij reisden met drie kinderen en pasten prima in één kamer.

Als tip geven wij mee om het terras boven wat gezelliger te maken, bijvoorbeeld met leuke lampjes en wat extra aankleding, zodat je daar ook prettig kunt zitten. Een koelkast met drankjes die verkocht worden, zou het helemaal afmaken. Ook wat extra haakjes in de slaapkamer om handdoeken op te hangen, zouden handig zijn. Wij zouden hier zonder twijfel weer terugkomen.

Hygiëne was niet helemaal top zowel in de kamer als buiten de kamer (katten op 1ste verdieping en vogels op 2de verdieping)

Erg vriendelijk personeel, ze hadden alles voor ons over en wilden overal bij helpen! Op loopafstand van het strand!

Emplacement à quelque mètre de la plage. La gentillesse des propriétaires de l’hôtel qui nous ont accueilli chaleureusement et ont rendu notre séjour très agréable. Petit déjeuner varié et copieux. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Nous reviendrons.

De eigenaars waren erg vriendelijk en stonden steeds klaar om te helpen.

De badkamer was een beetje vies. Deze was erg oud en niet echt onderhouden.

Werkelijk de allervriendelijkste eigenaren die er zijn. We hadden het idee bij familie op visite te zijn. Het is een simpel hotel, maar schoon en netjes en eigenlijk ben je toch bijna nooit op je kamer. Daarnaast een enorm lekker ontbijt, niet het “standaard” ontbijt wat je overal krijgt. Heel lekker

I had a great experience during my stay. The room was excellent – very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and supportive, always ready to help with a smile. Their service made the stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and look forward to staying here again.

Ich habe die Zeit hier sehr genossen. Das Hotel ist ganz nah am Meer, so dass man morgens ohne großen Aufwand den Fischern bei ihrer Arbeit zusehen kann und abends auch als alleinreisende Frau noch in der Dämmerung am Strand sitzen kann. Aber vor allem das unglaublich freundliche und überaus hilfsbereite Personal, allen voran der Hausherr, hat den Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Unangenehmer Geruch aus dem Abfluss, kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten im Zimmer, quietschende Betten, viel Hundegebell.

Very nice hotel near to Uppuveli beach. The owner’s family is taking care of all the needs one could possibly had. They are so friendly and welcoming, we felt like being at home.
