—Remember you’re staying at a beach front hotel— Honestly i had the time of my life like everything felt like home and very very safe and i actually felt the warmth and hospitality so god bless All i can say it staying over at french garden pragesh beach hotel was the best decision i have taken on my solo trip to srilanka,like every thing was absolutely perfect well managed,the room was the same as the photos,the room was spotless clean,excellent AC,toilet was clean too! Warm water I cannot forget the 3 nights,the staff is so friendly,caring always smiling,the bar on site has excellent food,excellent drinks Ofcourse Met soo many amazing locals the most caring and also some tourists it was a little quiet but my god the place its self is absolutely gorgeous photos dont do justice ! They have one of the best diving schools on the site to its a must must try super safe , safety is top top priority ! I can hardly remember the names of all the people i met i think i definitely remember are kevin front table ,the old uncle at the bar cash counter,fredrigo the barista,bhanuka the most chiller guy you’ll ever meet ,he’s one of the scuba divers All of you and all the people i didn’t mention thank you for making my experience so memorable

La chambre n’était pas faite automatiquement pendant notre séjour, il fallait le demander. Il n’y avait pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre et pas d’eau chaude pour la douche. De plus, de l’eau potable n’était fournie que le premier jour.

De lokatie is geweldig, voetjes gelijk op het strand en een heerlijke matras met goede airconditioning! Host is erg behulpzaam en kan goede activiteiten en taxi's organiseren voor een eerlijke prijs.

De excursies begin vaak om of voor 9 uur, maar het restaurant is pas vanaf 9 uur open. Het is soms even zoeken naar een plek om te kunnen ontbijten.

De ligging aan het strand is perfect. En er werken hele lieve mensen

A simple room in a fantastic location, right on the beach. What a treat to wake up and be just 20 metres from the water for a morning dip! Fresh juice, food, and drinks are available right at your doorstep, and you can have an umbrella and sun loungers reserved for you if desired. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, offering wonderful Sri Lankan hospitality.

A lovely stay right in front of the ocean! The room was cozy, clean, and perfectly located just steps from the beach, making it so easy to fully enjoy the sea and all the comforts of a beachfront stay. Waking up with the ocean right in front of us was definitely one of the highlights! The restaurant was another great surprise, with a beautiful atmosphere and delicious fresh fish. Enjoying dinner so close to the sea made the whole experience even more special. A perfect place for a relaxing beach stay — beautiful location, great food, and everything you need to simply slow down and enjoy the ocean.

部屋も綺麗でビーチの目の前にあって、すぐ泳ぎに行って戻ってシャワーを浴びれるのがよかった。 スタッフの人もすごく優しく、タクシーの手配とかシャワーが壊れたらすぐに治してくれた。 朝日を見に行くのがおすすめです！

海の前だからか、蚊とか虫が部屋の中にも入ってくるので、気をつけないといけないのと、体用と部屋用の虫除けスプレーを持っていくのがおすすめです！(部屋用のスプレーを使ったらハエとかも全部弱ってたのでぜひ忘れずに)

Heel mooi gelegen. Direct aan het heerlijke strand. Ligbedjes en parasol staan klaar. Kamers zijn prima (schoon, ruim genoeg), maar niet heel luxe. Prima voor het strand. Eten bij het hotel is goed. In de buurt zijn ook veel leuke restaurantjes.

The location was excellent! It's right on Uppuveli Beach and within walking distance of many restaurants and a supermarket.

La chambre donne directement sur la plage et c'est un vrai bonheur. J'ai été époustouflée et émerveillée par la vue. La chambre est agréable, le lit est confortable et orienté vue mer. La salle de bain est moderne et de qualité. Il y a des transats et parasols pour profiter pleinement de la plage. Il y a du personnel 24h/24, ce qui est vraiment très appréciable ; voyageuse solo, je me suis sentie en toute sécurité. Échange par message très fluide et réponse toujours très rapide.

Prix de la chambre un peu élevé et l'offre de restauration est assez cher. Le bar à côté de l'hôtel a eu une animation jusqu'à 4h du matin (une seule nuit sur les 3).

The location for this property is amazing, right on the beach and within walking distance of lots of great bars and restaurants. They even had a tap outside to wash sand off your feet before going into the room. We used the laundry service which was great and reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would 100% recommend.

Perfect location for a beach holiday and not too crowded. Excellent staff, new bathroom.

A bit pricey for the region

The location is perfect. You can roll out of bed onto the beach. Simple but clean rooms

Excellent...unbeatable location on the beach. Good rooms and close to anywhere else you might like to go. Manager Purushoth extremely helpful and reactive to any issues .

We loved staying here. It was so great waking up and walking straight to the ocean for a morning swim. The rooms and bathrooms have been recently renovated and are very clean and looking great. Very comfortable. The welcome juice was also so great after a long drive. The restaurant also had the best piña coladas of the whole trip! Its also a short walk to all the other restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay here again.

Extra mats for the room or verandah would be great to keep the sand out of the room.

We liked everything

It’s not about didn’t like, but would be good to have duvet, as with AC we felt cold at night. And hair dryer also for ladies would be nice.

Fantastic location literally on the beach, and near some bars/restaurants. Staff very nice and welcoming.

Our room was a touch small compared to other stays. Fine for a short stay though.

Wer gern am Strand liegt umgeben von Plastikmüll und Müll aller Art, der sollte genau dort Urlaub machen. Eine Schande, dass in der Umgebung dieses Übernachtungshauses so wenig auf Umweltschutz Wert gelegt wird. Da sitzt das Hauspersonal lieber am Smartphone als den Strand zu säubern und vielleicht auch mal neben dem Strandabschnitt des Gästehauses zu schauen. Die Ausstattung des Minizimmers ist sehr moderat. Spiegel und Armaturen waren nicht sauber. Kein Fön oder Kühlschrank vorhanden. Handtuchwechsel bei mehreren Übernachtungen wurde auch nicht durchgeführt.

Staff were excellent. Adjoining restaurant/bar was great- crayfish cooked to perfection. Felt very lucky to select this little piece of beachfront paradise. Whilst big resorts line the bays this small boutique establishment was perfect.

This would have scored a 10 except we left after 2 nights because the noise from the beach ( people playing very loud music all night ) was unbearable. We were assured the hotel had a Strict noise policy. ( their own bar closes at midnight). It was not the hotels fault but we could not stay longer as we could not sleep. Very sad to leave as the room is new, very clean and comfortable and the staff are adorable.

The noise from people having a party on the beach all night. I hope they can resolve this as we had already left another hotel on the beach due to the unbearable loud music all night. Again a party on the beach with huge speakers. Not part of the hotel.

Отель замечательный Очень чисто, номера свежие, после ремонта, душ и туалет тоже в прекрасном состоянии, все хорошо продумано внутри. Перед входом на террасу маленький кран с водой, чтобы помыть ноги с пляжа Ребята каждое утро убирают пляж и территорию отеля. Сервис просто замечательный, очень внимательный персонал. И это 1 пляжная полоса, из она номера видно океан. На территории отеля кафе и вокруг тоже куча кафе. Рядом продуктовый магазин. Маленький рай на земле. Идеальная, тихая локация. Я была в феврале, у них off-season и это прекрасно, мало людей. Также ребята могут организовать экскурсию, тур или отвезти вас с другую локацию на Шри-Ланку, включая Негомбо, аэропорт. Очень рекомендую этот отель. I was very happy with my booking, The hotel is very fresh, very well maintained, very clean, and the service is amazing. Hot water, AC, restaurants around and the view from the room and terrace is amazing 😍 Little heaven on the earth. Highly recommend. I came for 3 days and stayed 5. Room feel a bit small that on the picture but it's comfortable and enough space. Thank you Purushoth for trip from Trinco to Negombo, it was amazing. All the best to the hotel and guys who work there. It's amazing place to visit.

Geweldige locatie aan het strand & schone kamer. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en hebben ons ook geholpen met transport. De wifi is erg sterk.

Het is exclusief ontbijt maar dat kan bij restaurantjes in de buurt.

We had two nights at the french garden. The rooms are practically at the beach. You walk out of the room and you stand at the beach. It is really nice there. The staff was also really friendly and helpful with activities. We loved it. All the best 🙏🏻 ayubovan

Man ist nicht am Strand sondern direkt im Strand. Die Aussicht ist super. Man hat direkt mehrere Restaurants im der Umgebung und mehrere Tauchschulen direkt nebenan. Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Ist stehts für Fragen offen und hilft einem beim organisieren von Ausflügen etc. Wenn man in Trincomalee ist ist es aufjedenfall ein Muss.

Das Bett war sehr klein also zu zweit wird es sehr kuschelig. Preis etwas zu hoch finde ich aber der Ausblick und die Lage entschädigt dafür

Location (right on the beach)

The walls were paper-thin, so we heard loud parties from nearby places all night. The curtains barely blocked any light, making it hard to sleep, and the mattress was extremely uncomfortable with springs poking into our backs. When we mentioned it, staff said they’d be replaced next season (not helpful for us). The room wasn’t cleaned at all during our three-day stay, so sand built up quickly. No fridge, and the air conditioning made a weird noise, making it impossible to relax. Additionally, the hotel’s neighbours were burning garbage right behind our room, so the smell filled the entire space. For what we paid ($90 per night), this was really not worth it. Finally, we were charged an extra 3% fee for paying by credit card, on top of an already overpriced stay. Would definitely not recommend.

The rooms had a small terrace and then opened out straight onto the beach For me this was a good 3 star hotel And this was perfect The staff were very friendly and helpful, for example, provided a bowl of water to wash ones feet prior to entering your room to avoid getting sand everywhere They swept and kept the beach area very clean They allowed us a late checkout so we could enjoy our last morning on the beach and in the sea The beach was perfect white sand and warm sea

We asked to keep our towels to save changing them every day as they would’ve done this otherwise which is a waste of water but only a minor concern as iverall we were bery happy with our choice of hotel

Posizione ottima, camera vista lago. Tanti servizi offerti sul posto, ottimo il bar/ristorante con buon cibo. Molto bene la colazione. Spiaggia ben fornita e ben tenuta e i ragazzi dello scuba lanka offrono tutti i servizi possibili in mare.

Accoglienza migliorabile, dato i prezzi un po' più alti potrebbero dare un drink o comunque mettere un servizio accoglienza più dignitoso. Consiglio di prendere la stanza king.

Rispetto ai prezzi dello Sri Lanka un pò caro. Erano anche presenti molte zanzare.

The rooms are a bit old and neglected, although still clean, and the bed is comfortable. The curtains are not blackout, so a lot of light comes in early in the morning.

De kamers zijn best klein en in verhouding g van de rest van Sri lanka vrij prijzig….

La ubicación es perfecta en 1ª línea de la playa de Uppuveli. El personal muy amable y el desayuno es muy bueno.

La habitación es pequeña comparando con otros de nuestros alojamientos en Sri Lanka. En el baño había hormigas. Los dos días esperamos el desayuno más de 1h y estábamos solos. Además, es imposible dormir cuando hacen fiestas fuera.
