Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour son accueil chaleureux, en particulier à Omar pour sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme. Nous avons passé un très bon moment et ce ne sera certainement pas notre dernière visite. À bientôt !

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026The hotel is very well located, close to the Medina. The property itself is stunning and looks exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean, and the staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful.
Unfortunately, the main issue was the location of our room. It was literally situated in the middle of the restaurant area, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. Every time we wanted to enter or leave the room, we had to walk through people who were eating, which felt awkward and gave us very little privacy. We also couldn’t really open the windows because they were at the same level as the restaurant tables. People sitting or standing nearby could easily see directly inside the room, so we had to keep the windows and curtains closed most of the time. Another major inconvenience was the noise. The restaurant stays open until midnight, and we could clearly hear people talking, music, dishes and plates being handled. After a long and tiring day exploring Chefchaouen, it was very difficult to relax or sleep before the restaurant closed. Internet access was also a problem. The Wi-Fi connection was extremely weak, and we could barely get any cellular signal inside the room either. Finally, the accommodation had two bedrooms but only one bathroom, which was located inside one of the bedrooms. This meant that anyone staying in the other bedroom had to enter the first bedroom to use the bathroom, including during the night. This was quite inconvenient and uncomfortable in terms of privacy, especially when travelling as a group. On top of that, the bathroom door could not be properly closed because the lock was broken. One additional point to mention is the parking situation. Although this is not directly the hotel’s responsibility, it had a negative impact on our overall experience. Finding a parking space nearby was extremely difficult. The surrounding streets are very narrow and crowded with cars, and parking can quickly become a real headache. The parking attendant in the area was also quite unpleasant, and the parking fees felt expensive compared with other places we visited during our trip.

Nos dieron una habitación en medio del restaurante no se podía abrir la ventana porque la gente tenía las mesas pegadas a las ventanas y te veían la habitación parecía una cueva caliente sin ventilación, por la mañana descubrimos la habitación llena de bichos, tuvimos que lavar toda la ropa de la maleta ya que nos picaba todo el cuerpo al quejarnos lo único que recibimos fueron unas simples disculpas. No lo recomiendo para nada

L'unica cosa che la family room è direttamente sulla zona esterna del ristorante e mi sono sentito un po' in imbarazzo uscire dalla stanza in attesa della doccia con coppie vestite eleganti sedute proprio a pochi centimetri della porta cigolante...
Uscita della camera praticamente sulle ginocchia delle persone seduti a cena..

A natural English translation would be: First of all, I should point out that the room we stayed in did not have air conditioning, and the temperature was around 40°C. This is simply not acceptable. Secondly, the bathroom was uncomfortably small. Another issue was that the room did not provide shampoo, complimentary water, or slippers, and even drinking water was sold at an additional cost. Yes, I am aware that this is a riad, but I have stayed in riads three times before and had very positive experiences. Unfortunately, unless you are only looking for a cheap place to stay for a few hours late at night, this property does not deliver the riad experience. And to be honest, staffs were nice.

Reviewed Apr 20, 2026Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Wit hatten zuerst das Zimmer direkt über dem Garten mit Gemeinschaftsbad und danach das Zimmer mit eigenem Bad im ersten Stock. Beide Zimmer waren sehr gemütlich. Freundliches Personal und das Restaurant unten drunter auch sehe gut. Vor allem der Lavakuchen war ein Traum 😍 Einziger Wehrmutstropfen ist das Morgengebet um 5 Uhr morgens... Dafür kann das Hotel nichts, sollte man aber drauf vorbereitet sein.

Nous avons eu la chambre familiale comme demandé en rez de jardin. Le seul petit bémol c'est que les tables du restaurant sont juste devant la porte de la chambre et vue que les fenêtres ne sont absolument pas isolées nous avons eu droit à toutes les conversations jusqu'à 23h....

El baño compartido tiene una ducha donde te podrían proporcionar una toalla para los pies, ya que está continuamente mojado y no es agradable. A parte de esto el plato de la ducha se encharcaba de agua. El restaurante del hotel con precios muy excesivos. Desayuno tres personas por 300 dirhams(30€).

L’accueil est minimal, même si on ne peut pas incriminer les jeunes qui occupent cette fonction. L’endroit est très bruyant, au dessus d’un restaurant. Le pire est à la salle bain et les partagées par tout l’hôtel. La douche est dans les toilettes communes…. Et le personnel est obligé d’utiliser ces toilettes car il n’y en a pas assez dans le restaurant. Au niveau propreté , c’est très limité. De plus le matériel est détérioré: lunette de toilette qui ne tient plus. Le cache de la chasse d’eau également est tombé quand nous y étions!!! Hôtel à éviter. Je ne comprends pas la note que lui attribue le site Booking.

Reviewed Apr 5, 2026L’auberge est située à l’extrémité de la médina dans un lieu enchanteur. Le restaurant indépendant de l’auberge est particulièrement prisé des touristes et la nourriture est excellente.
La chambre réservée sur booking n’a pas été respectée par l’aubergiste. Nous nous sommes retrouvés sous les mansardes peu confortables avec une salle de bain exiguë …et lits particulièrement durs …

El baño estaba constantemente mojado porque salía agua de un sumidero. Faltaban toallas en la habitación, nos las trajeron a las 12 de la noche cuando ya estábamos dormidos. Las toallas tenían agujeros, estaban desgastadas.

La mezquita esta muy cerca y es muy fuerte la llamada al rezo de las 5h. Lo cual nos despertaba y algun día nos costó volver a dormir.

Reviewed Dec 9, 2025The room was basic but good value, we were on the top floor so couldn’t hear the restaurant! Away from the hustle of the centre but still in a lovely part of town. You can have breakfast at the restaurant downstairs which was good, the garden is lovely and there is a cute little terrace with a nice view. We had a baby cot.
The issue is next door and the cal to prayer is very loud but that’s not easy to avoid in the town!

Reviewed Nov 25, 2025The staff were very helpful and friendly. The whole hotel has a beautiful setting with a garden and the room we had was lovely. Air con in the room for comfort and WiFi. The breakfast was amazing too.
The location is next to a prayers tower with speaker so be mindful to pack earplugs as this will start from 5am. The location is furthest out from the medina and historic centre but overall the location is quiet.

Very noisy surroundings. A restaurant next door stays open until around 11:30 PM, a stadium nearby creates noise, and the morning call to prayer from the mosque makes it difficult to sleep past 6 AM

Reviewed Oct 22, 2025Perfect location. Great restaurant downstairs which was like an oasis in the medina. Cute looking room but lots of steps up to it. Nice view from a shared balcony. Helpful, friendly staff.
The mattress was a little hard. Very close to a loud speaker which does a call to prayer at 5.45am, probably loud from most places however. The photos on the site were not of the room we stayed in, so you won't get an idea of the room you are choosing. However the room was lovely so this didn't matter.

But sounds can carry from outside, especially at night so if you are a light sleeper that could be a problem. But this may be the case every where in the Medina. Bathroom can be a bit of a squeeze.

Absolutely recommend for someone to enjoy and experience Chefchaouen to the fullest. There is not much parking available on the street. From the street the hotel is located up a few sets of cobblestone steps.

Et puis, je pouvais entendre des gens parler calmement jusqu'à 22 heures environ et le calme ensuite toute la nuit. j'ai aussi apprécié l'eau chaude pour la douche. J'ai encore aimé le fait de pouvoir laisser les fenêtres ouvertes et de n'entendre que le calme.

Hôtel niché en hauteur, avec des valises et 2 enfants heureusement que 2 jeunes nous ont aidés à monter les valises car on doit garer nos voitures en bas et monter à pieds… Notre chambre donnait sur la terrasse du restaurant, un peu gênant, et avec enfants qui dorment, mais terrasse plutôt calme.
