Reviewed Sep 3, 2026Das Personal war super freundlich. Wir haben sogar einmal einfach so umsonst eine super leckere Harira Suppe bekommen. Das Zimmer ist gemütlich und der Preis unschlagbar.
Nachts wird es sehr laut. Besonders weil wir ohne Klimaanlage nachts die fenster geöffnet hatten.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Le Riad était extrêmement propre, que ce soit la chambre, les draps ou les oreillers. La dame qui nous a accueillis, à qui je tiens à exprimer ma gratitude, s'est montrée d'une grande gentillesse et était très serviable; elle nous a même permis d'arriver avant 14 heures. Le Riad bénéficie d'un emplacement vraiment central et offre une vue superbe depuis la terrasse. Ma seule suggestion serait d'ajouter une douche supplémentaire ou de mettre en place une règle concernant la durée d'utilisation de la douche pour chaque personne. Nous avons dû attendre longtemps car certains prenaient plus d'une heure sous la douche, ce qui a posé problème. Cependant, dans l'ensemble, je le recommande vivement.

Reviewed May 31, 2026I had a wonderful stay at Dar Besmellah and ended up extending my stay for four nights. The accommodation is simple and basic, but very clean, comfortable, and full of artistic character. The bed was comfortable, the mountain view from the window was beautiful, and the fresh air and peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect place to relax. I loved waking up to birds singing and the gentle rhythm of local life. The location is very convenient, right in the heart of the old town, with the main square, cafés, and restaurants all within walking distance. The rooftop offers stunning views of Chefchaouen and the surrounding mountains. It became my favorite place to enjoy food, practice yoga, meditate, write postcards, and watch the sunset unfold over the blue town. The family are artists, and their handmade artwork gives the house a unique and authentic charm. Said, the owner, is a kind and welcoming gentleman, and the whole family made me feel at home with their warmth and generosity. One of my favorite stays in Morocco, and I would happily return.

Like in all Morrocan dars and riads I have been so far there hasn’t been any sound isolation. So I don’t consider it as a fault, just be aware that you can hear everything from your neighbors and they can hear you.

Le bruit d’un voisin très bruyant (hurlait, musique fort, chantait et ce, jusque très tard la nuit). Le confort du lit double, en baignoire et très mou. Même pour une personne au centre du lit ce n’était pas top.

El pueblo es de montaña por lo que hay muchas cuestas y escaleras, el centro es de calles estrechas y no se puede subir con el coche, por lo que aconsejo buscar con tiempo un parking. Quedará alejado del hotel. Los dueños son muy atentos y amables. He de decir q todo esta en buen estado y limpio. El baño es compartido pero sin ninguna pega. No deja de ser un pueblo de montaña y rural por lo que hay q comprender que tiene sus cosillas, pero que lo hace la mar de especial. A sido un gusto.

Los esmaltes que producen ellos mismos y están a la venta, allí ,son una preciosidad y los diseños muy inspiradores. Recuerdos para traer de artesanía real y diferente.

C’est n’est pas de leur faute, mais la période était fraîche et nous avons eu un peu froid, heureusement qu’ils fournissent des super couvertures pour la nuit, merci à eux. Les douches manquent un peu de pressions

Reviewed Jan 6, 2026L'emplacement en haut de la medina ainsi que la vue sur montagne et sur la vallée depuis la terrasse! L'hôte est prévenant. La chambre est bleue :-) et fonctionnelle. La fenêtre s'ouvre sur un petite salon qui donne sur une baie vitrée et une première terrasse.
Le seul bémol, c'est la faible pression de l'eau chaude dans la douche commune (pas de soucis avec l'eau froide). Mais cela ne m'a pas empêché d'y séjourner 3 nuits!

Se estropeó el agua caliente y nos dejó pasar a su casa para que pudiésemos ducharnos, fue un detalle que hace ver que le preocupan sus huéspedes. El baño compartido estaba limpio. Estuvimos muy muy a gusto. Es un alojamiento humilde pero era justo lo que buscábamos, si volvemos por Chefchaouen repetiremos.
Para nosotros no fue problema, pero yo tendría en cuenta: - El baño es compartido (lo indican pero por si acaso lo reseño) - Escaleras para subir (no apto si tienes problemas de movilidad) - Sin calefacción ni aire acondicionado (nos dejaron mantas y te apañas perfectamente). - La ubicación buscad la de Google, la de Booking sale mal

Saïd et sa famille, des artistes passionnés et profondément bienveillants, nous ont accueillis comme si nous faisions partie de la maison. C’est avec beaucoup de tristesse que nous repartons… mais nous reviendrons sans hésiter !
