Reviewed Sep 1, 2026The Hotel brand is famous for its minimalstic approach. And Ibis Kochi was the same. Everything was outstanding. As I stay in many ibis hotels in many parts of the world, I would say this ibis par or better than any one of them.
The Room floor could be cleaned better. At least For regular clients, should have given little bit extended free hours to check out. Cannot expect money for everything it is just client retaining.

I was quite disappointed with my stay. The room was extremely small and felt cramped, and overall the property did not meet my expectations. The service from the staff could also have been much better and more customer-friendly. One of the most frustrating issues was with the room key. The key cards were not working properly, and the hotel was unable to provide us with a properly functioning key for some time. This caused unnecessary inconvenience during our stay. Overall, considering the room size, property, service, and key-card issue, I expected a much better experience from an ibis hotel.

The room was okay overall, but it felt a little dusty and had a slightly stale smell, like a room that hadn't been used or aired out for a while. Regular cleaning and better ventilation would probably help. Apart from that, the stay was nice overall.

Our family vacation, which included our beloved dog, Mia, was truly wonderful and will always be a memorable one for us. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the General Manager, Mr. Elgish, and the Executive Chef, Chef Arun. The entire team—from the restaurant staff and front desk to the housekeeping team—was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our visit. I had to move out of the initial room that was designated, as their maintenance decided to paint a door or something at 10PM and the aircon was pulling in heavy paint smells into our rooms at that floor. I saw many people complain about it. Such maintenance activities should be taken care of in the morning hours, not while your customers are most certainly back in their rooms.
