Reviewed Sep 19, 2026The location was great, but the hotel was extremely badly maintained and barely met minimum acceptable standards despite being one of the more expensive hotels during our stay. The open lounge at the back is a newer addition which had a beautiful view of Mt Fuji.
The toilet piping and one of the beds were held together with duct tape. The air conditioner in our room was also taped up (with paper tape) but rattled so badly that we had to sleep without it (not ideal in temperatures above 30 C). The bed was hard and there were only 2 extremely thin pillows - we asked for more, but they were only reluctantly supplied. The walls were scuffed, had holes in places and dirty fingerprints. The shower was so tiny it was extremely difficult to maneuver in. The room wasn't serviced during our stay. The door in one of the rooms was falling apart and the walls were very thin

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026古めの建物ではありましたが、中はとっても綺麗に清潔にされていて、心地よく過ごすことができました。この値段で貸切温泉を1時間利用することが出来るのは本当にお得だと感じました。ホテル内も外も忙しすぎず、 近くにコンビニや、飲食店もあったので、便利で、満足しています！
窓のブラインドが緩めで、早い時間から朝日が入り込み、かなり部屋が明るくなってしまったところが少し残念でした。

建物の老朽化は仕方ないにしてもベッドが古すぎて湿気があり、寝具も変な匂いがして眠れませんでした。 廊下等もカビ臭くて、お料理が良かっただけに残念です。 家族風呂があるとしてもバス、トイレが狭すぎます。

Reviewed May 27, 2026まわりに綺麗な景色、富士山、河口湖、大石公園です。 朝日の出から夕日まで時間によってのんびりして、 富士山の変化衣装を見られると思います。 河口湖駅からバスで30分ぐらいですが、 河口湖と富士山の風景を色々な角度から見られます。
ホテルは綺麗で、泊まり日の夜中と朝一にドアを何回もノックしたです。部屋間違いでしたんでしょうか？

Reviewed May 17, 2026強いて言うなら、部屋についてる露天風呂は追い炊き機能がなく、風通しがすごくいいので、夏以外は寒いかもしれません。お湯が冷えたら潔くお湯を張り直すと温かいお風呂が楽しめると思います。

Reviewed Apr 18, 2026In a place with a lot of VERY expensive properties, this one is reasonable. The Japanese style room we stayed in was nice, and it had an attached private onsen.
When we were checking in, the attendant (through a translation app) informed us there was no hot water, and no chance of it being fixed during our stay. She told us we could bathe in the public onsen, except from 7-midnight when it is already booked. (?) No solutions were offered, and no compensation, so we started looking for a different place to stay. That's when she switched us to another room that DID have hot water. The room was lovely (except for a shard of glass on the tatami floor that my husband stepped on) but the customer service here left something to be desired.

The location is a bit far if you are traveling by public transportation, which can make it slightly inconvenient. Also, it would be great if the checkout time could be extended a little.

We had a twin room. The bathroom is a little tight but manageable. We arrived before check in because that was when our bus was. We had planned to leave our bags and come back at check in - the staff let us leave our bags but I did feel a little rushed out. She told me a few times that check in was later when I was just waiting for my boyfriend to use the bathroom.

Reviewed Apr 2, 2026Great views, unlucky I couldn't see Fuji due to weather conditions but I expected this could be the possibility. The view is still nice, overlooking quiet japanese neighborhood, very close to bus station (5 min walk) where you can catch bus to Kawaguchiko station (around 580¥) or even to Tokyo (don't know price) The receptionist was very nice guy who explained everything to me, booked me in for a private hot bath in the building (you can choose from two) which was absolutely amazing after long day!! Bed is comfortable as well. Room was spacious and had a great deep bath!
Due to the rain it was a pretty cold. I had to turn on AC to heat up the room a little bit because I did not see any other way of heating the room. But because the AC is at the ceiling (good for cooling) it's not good for heating up. So I took the hot bath and run straight for the bed :)

Reviewed Mar 16, 2026マウンテンビューのお部屋に宿泊しましたが、レストランの夕食・朝食時のお席も富士山が正面に見えるようなお席にしてくださり、本当に満足しました。こちらのオーベルジュはロケーションがすばらしいだけでなく、シェフのフレンチも本当に美しく、おいしかったです。ソフトクリームで有名な富士山の絶景ポイントから徒歩５分くらいでアクセスもとても良いし、貸し切り風呂もありますので、おすすめです。

Dinner and breakfast were delicious but food portions can be a bit bigger for the dinner (we had the half-board). Private onsen can be requested. Niice lounge with a view of the Mt Fuji Easy access to oishi park about 10 to 15 mins walking distance as well to the express bus terminal I will come back again if ever to Lake Kawaguchi
No elevator but no problem for able bodied person. It is a low building.

The staff was very welcoming and the room was big. Beware this is not central and not close to many restaurants but you have access to a convenience store across the streets and there were 1 or 2 restaurants 10 min by feet.

Reviewed Dec 22, 2025It was close to oishi park. The room had a huge window facing Mt Fuji, even the bathroom had a Mt Fuji View. The hotel had 2 huge private hot spring baths(onsen) which were well kept and had a shower attached so you could take a refreshing bath as well as shower to end the long day of exploring Lake Kawaguchi.

Reviewed Nov 24, 2025Though the decor seems a little dated at first the hotel felt very homely as a result. Nice sized room with a great view of Fuji-San. Thermos filled with ice cold Fuji water on arrival. Bath tub and shower on balcony was a nice experience even during the colder evening. Very comfy beds and bedding. Fantastic multi course dinner with a well considered wine pairing using locally produced wines. One of the highlights of our trip.

Reviewed Nov 21, 2025近大石公園。有幾個泊車位。酒店雖然舊一點。但仍然很整潔。有私人溫泉浴缸。雖然我沒用到。職員友善和樂意幫忙。
沒有升降機。如果怕搬重行李上落樓梯的話要考慮下。
