Beautiful setting.. Easy to reach Ratnapura by bus or pickme if you are interested in experiencing the sapphire markets and seeing real mines in operation..

Seemed hard to get away but despite being told pickme wouldn't work we had no problem using pickme and Uber to get to the coast when we left.

Wow! Everything about the place is absolutely excellent . The room was amazing, the views across the valley from the room and pool are stunning, the food was superb and generous, and the staff were so friendly and helpful

Up in the hills above Pelmadulla, quiet accommodation with panoramic pool to swim and relax, enjoying the views and wildlife. Quite a find and excellent value for money. Great food, realastic cost and lovely hosts. Easy walk to a waterfall and tea plantation. Rooms were good size with views,comfortable bed and clean bathroom.

Meer dan 5x naar Sri Lanka geweest op vakantie en dit is werkelijk 1 van de beste plekken waar ik ben verbleven. Het ligt in een nog niet zo bekend gebied en dat vonden wij geweldig. Ook waren we de enigen in het hotel en hadden we het zwembad voor onszelf. Rondom dit hotel kun je op onbekende paden heerlijk wandelen in de jungle in het ongerepte natuur, en meerdere watervallen bezoeken (Zonder ook maar enig toerist tegen te komen!) Wij waren enorm fijn verrast. Het personnel is super vriendelijk en doet alles om je verblijf aangenaam te maken, de kamers zijn schoon en ontzettend ruim, badkamer schoon en douche met zeer goede waterdruk, het eten verrukkelijk (zowel de Europese als de lokale opties, ik herken dan ook niets van eerdere reviews over niet lekker eten). Hootepunt is uiteraard het uitzicht en het zwembad. Dit is echt een ervaring! Het ligt toevallig in een minder bekend gebied, maar als je, net zoals wij, met een kind langzaam reist, kom je dus parelhotels en ongerepte natuur zoals deze tegen.

Super Aussicht über den Wald und das Tal, schöner sauberer Pool. Gutes Essen sowohl zum Frühstück als auch das Abendessen. In der Nähe zum Wasserfall, er ist einfach mit einer kurzen Fahrt mit dem TukTuk zu erreichen.

Etwas "kalte" Einrichtung mit den weissen grossen Plattenböden überall und dem kalten LED Licht.

The view was amazing. We saw an amazing sunset over the hills too. They were kind enough to find a bed and provide supper for our driver too. Rumesh was just very helpful and attentive .

Das Hotel war unglaublich sauber und hat unsere Erwartungen vollkommen übertroffen. Die Mitarbeiter sind unglaublich freundlich und kümmerten sich toll um uns. Wir hatten wunderbare Mahlzeiten auf der Terrasse - alles wahr sehr schmackhaft und die Aussicht war ein Traum.

Ein herrlicher Ort um zu entspannen, im Pool zu schwimmen und die Aussicht zu genießen. Die Menschen vor Ort waren super nett und hilfsbereit. Die Auswahl der Gerichte war groß, Frühstück und Abendessen auf der Terasse wunderbar.

De ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. De schone kamer met uitzicht op het regenwoud was geweldig! Je wordt werkelijk door de natuur omringd. Een klein maar heerlijk zwembad (roof top) van waaruit je een geweldig uitzicht hebt.

Niets. Er ons echt niets tegen gevallen. De weg ernaar toe is smal en een stukje van de hoofdweg af maar verder goed toegankelijk. Een aanrader dus!

The hotel is clean and well kept. The views are stunning. The staff are very nice and helpful. The food was better than people have reported on here before but maybe they had the western pasta dishes, we had the Sri Lankan curry which they made to our taste- not spicy and it was lovely. The pool is nice and refreshing.

Wir waren die einzigen Leute in dem Hotel und hatten den traumhaften Pool ganz für uns alleine. Wir waren nur für eine Zwischenübernachtung dort. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat uns hervorragendes Essen hergerichtet.

Leider war der Durchlauferhitzer nicht eingeschaltet und brauchte sehr lange zum aufheizen, weshalb wir mit kaltem Wasser duschen mussten.

Terrace Cinnamon View is an exceptional place with incredible views over the hill country from every room and balcony. Even at night we would leave the curtains open so that in the morning we could see the gentle, rolling landscape from our bed - a luxury! The place is perfectly clean and decorated with taste and has a pretty pool. Rumesh and his team are lovely people - friendly, efficient and attentive to your every need. The meals taken on the large terrasse overlooking the mountain are delicious. Peaceful and quiet, this is the perfect place to unwind and contemplate nature.

What an amazing place! Perched high on the hillside overlooking beautiful countryside surrounded by tea, cinnamon, flowers, monkeys, birds. A real gem. Delicious evening meals with a great view! Shiva was very kind and helpful!

Our stay at Terrace Cinnamon View was incredible! The view from our room and the entire hotel was absolutely breathtaking—one of the best we’ve ever seen. The infinity pool made it even better, with stunning scenery all around as you swim or relax. The food was fantastic! We had both breakfast and dinner there, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and so well-prepared. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making sure we felt right at home and had everything we needed. Only 2 km from the hotel is a beautiful waterfall that we highly recommend visiting—it’s a short trip and absolutely worth it. We really wished we could have stayed longer, but unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked. We’ll definitely be back—it’s a place we’ll always remember!

Location couldn't be better! Surrounded by nature, zero noise, just the perfect place to have a real break and breathe. Infinity pool facing the mountain is the best we've ever been. We were travelling with our 2 years old and she enjoyed a lot! There's a small playground and the staff is really friendly. The room is very big and super clean with views to the mountains and jungle :)

The food can be improved, the meet was a bit hard but ice cream was delicious 😋

Great Place to stay with a beautiful view and a nice, clean infinity pool with an amazing view of the surrounding landscape. The food was really good. The host was very friendly, attentive and went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. He showed us around his garden and cinnamon fields explaining about the different plants and harvesting techniques while letting us try fruits and spices. Generally the whole staff was very friendly, we really appreciated that!

This is the best hotel out of the 10 we have stayed in during our visit to Sri Lanka. The room had everything we could possibly want. Food was the best we have experienced. Wonderful views from the room and pool. great for a few days to wind down.

The view was incredible. And a good staff member would like to mention Mr. Shiva specially. The room was so neat and clean. Even though we have to go through a narrow road to the place, It's worth every penny.

Simple breakfast, but we’re the only guests at that point

We travelled for a wedding in Ratnapura. The hotel was off the main road a bit, but we were given good directions and it was certainly worth going off the main road. The views were spectacular, especially in the evening and the early morning clouds. We all enjoyed getting into the swimming pool. The staff were most helpful, flexible and went out of their way to help us. Definitely would like to make a longer visit, visit the water fall and the cinnamon gardens.

This is not a criticism, because places like this need and deserve more visitors. We didn't really test this, but without more quests it is difficult to stock wider food choices. No complaints about what we actually had, however.

The location is perfect and the view from the room is amazing specially in the morning. Swimming pool is in perfect location. It's a perfect escape out.There is an amazing water fall just about 10 mins walk away and the property arranged a great guide to help us enjoy at the water falls.
