Miła obsługa. Lokalizacja w 3 linii od oceanu, ale mimo to blisko do plaży (5-10 minut). Dużo restauracji w okolicy. Pokoje czyste.

Lekko brudna woda w basenie od spadających roślin. Otoczenie basenu też mogłoby być lepiej utrzymane. Mało leżaków. Restauracja w hotelu nie zachęcała do kolacji w hotelu. Słaba kawa na śniadaniu, ale tak zazwyczaj jest na Sri Lance.

Great staff and location

Near restaurants, beach and bars

One of the poorest accommodation experiences we have had, and not a property I could recommend. We stayed at J7 Villaj for four nights but ultimately checked out a day early because we found the overall condition of the property unacceptable. The issues we personally encountered included a badly stained mattress, dirty and unpleasant-smelling toilets, foul-smelling water from the taps, bird droppings across the balcony, and a swimming pool that was dirty and not something we felt comfortable using. There were also chipped and broken tiles around the pool edge. Breakfast raised further hygiene concerns. We saw flies around the food, milk that appeared curdled, and butter that looked as though it had melted and been re-chilled. Most concerning of all was our children's room, where the electrical plug/socket arrangement associated with the shower was situated within the shower area itself. We found this extremely worrying, particularly in accommodation being provided for children. I am attaching photographs of the conditions we encountered so prospective guests can make their own assessment. We subsequently raised these issues with the property and requested a refund for the five nights we had stayed. The hotel has refused, saying that we did not formally complain during the stay and that other guests had not raised similar concerns. In my view, that response does not address the substance of the complaint. Paying guests should not have to tell a hotel that mattresses should be clean, toilets should be properly cleaned, tap water should not smell foul, breakfast food should be hygienically presented, balconies should not be covered in bird droppings, pools should be maintained, and electrical arrangements in shower areas should not give rise to obvious safety concerns. These are not optional extras or matters of personal taste. They are basic standards that should already be met before accommodation is offered to guests.

The location is great near beautiful beach and great restaurants

The room wasn’t cleaned in 7days even when asked ,we had to ask every day for clean towels and tea bags and was taking rubbish to reception our self’s so our room want full of water bottles my wife even took the bin down when needed emptying Two sun beds at the pool for the whole hotel and was covered in bird mess wasn’t even cleaned when asked Pool is unusable dirty full of debris and unclear water All walk ways around hotel covered in bird mess was cleaned once in the week we was there and to say cleaned I use the term half hearted Cigarette butts all just left by pool the whole time we was there Breakfast is poor if you don’t eat fish curry for breakfast you get a small omelette 10% service charge on drinks even tho you get them yourself at reciption and ask them to put them on your room so not quite sure what the charge was for Had to ask for toilet roll when needed that goes back to the rooms not being kept The electrics for the shower are in the shower which I’m not sure is safe We showed at the hotel where we paid to use the pool (can’t say where because the guys there probably wernt ment to let us use the pool lol) The one time my wife washed her hair with the hand held shower it flooded the bathroom taking ages to drain . We are well travelled around Asia and except things are different here but this hotel was just dirty full stop and I don’t want people to be disappointed like we was

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen. Der wunderschöne Strand ist in ein paar Gehminuten zu erreichen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war einfach aber in Ordnung.

Leider war der Pool während unseres Aufenthalts sehr trüb und konnte daher nicht genutzt werden. Zwar wurde versucht, ihn zu reinigen, jedoch schien die Pumpe defekt zu sein, sodass sich die Situation nicht verbessert hat. Darüber hinaus ist das Hotel baulich mittlerweile etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Besonders im Außenbereich fehlen teilweise Lampen. Weiters wurde im Bad ein unangenehmer Geruch wahrgenommen. Insgesamt hätten wir uns angesichts des Preises einen besseren Zustand und eine entsprechend höhere Qualität erwartet.

Wir hatten eine richtig tolle Zeit im J7 Villaj Resort! 🥰 Eine wunderschöne, gepflegte Anlage, super entspannte Atmosphäre und der Strand ist ganz in der Nähe. Genau der richtige Ort, um einfach mal abzuschalten und den Urlaub zu genießen. 🌴🌊 Das Frühstück war ebenfalls richtig lecker! Was uns besonders gefallen hat, war das unglaublich liebe und hilfsbereite Team. Auch als ich mich am Knie verletzt habe, wurde mir sofort geholfen. Vielen Dank für die wunderschöne Zeit und eure Herzlichkeit – wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder!😊☀️

the location is very convenient, very quiet but also close to the beach and main cafes/restaurants. the bed was comfortable.

there was not hot water in the shower. the first morning breakfast was supposed to start at 7.30am but at 7.30 nothing was actually ready and we had to wait until 7.45 to have it ready, and we needed to leave at 8.00 to go diving. the pool was really dirty. the rooms were not cleaned at all and there were a lot of animals in the room, such as gekos and even a frog. I think it would be okay if we paid 10€ each to stay there, but for what you pay it’s really not worth it. go somewhere else.

L'accoglienza del personale è stata eccezionale, abbiamo prenotato con loro due tour (pigeon island e delfini e balene), con spostamenti inclusi, e non potevano andare meglio di così. Posizione strategica in quanto a due passi dal mare e dai ristoranti. Il personale ha sempre cercato di venire in contro alle nostre richieste.. Ma..

La stanza non è pulitissima, una volta entrati ci siamo fatti cambiare subito le lenzuola per macchie marroni e gialle sospette, anche il lenzuolo di ricambio era sporco, al terzo tentativo siamo andati bene. Fuori dalla camera avevamo una bella popolazione di formiche rosse, dentro la camera, nel bagno, abbiamo prima avuto le formiche e successivamente una ranocchia che usciva da dietro al gabinetto. Ci può anche stare essendo in mezzo alla natura, però le notti non sono state troppo tranquille. La piscina è sporca, la colazione è limitata ma fattibile. Ultima pecca, in tre giorni non ha mai funzionato il POS e siamo stati costretti a pagare tutto in contanti.

Очень красивый, уютный и просто утопающий в зелени отель! Территория отеля действительно очень красивая - об этом говорит даже то, что мы несколько раз видели, как местные ребята приезжают на фотосессии: свадьба, день рождения, еще какие-то праздники. Это было красиво и интересно. Отличное расположение отеля: все рядом. До пляжа идти 5 минут. До всяческих кафе, ресторанчиков и магазинов - и того ближе. Особой необходимости, правда, в этом нет - в отеле прекрасный ресторан с большим выбором блюд, невысоким ценником и очень хорошими поварами, готовыми выполнить даже некоторые запросы с учетом личных пристрастий гостей!!! Персонал: отличная команда!!! Веселые, приветливые, вежливые, приятные ребята. Любой вопрос решался за 5 минут. Рада еще одной возможности выразить им благодарность за все! Номерной фонд: номера, оснащены всем необходимым даже для продолжительного отдыха. Тихо, спокойно - что еще нужно? Резюме: в этом отеле вам гарантирован отличный отдых!

Un peu faible au niveau de la wi-fi. nous étions la chambre au-dessus de la cuisine et il y avait quelques odeurs qui rentraient dans la chambre nous avons coupé la ventilation de la chambre pour ne plus avoir d'odeur

The bathroom was really dirty (water marks and spots all over the tiles, stinky drain), the beds had blood and yellow stains and when the staff changed them as we did not want to sleep in that, we saw the whole mattress underneath was black like mold. The next day there was suddenly bird poop next to the pillow on the bad ?! So an animal or bird must have been somewhere as we always kept the door shut. The breakfast was pretty minimalist for the price- a bit of toast, jam, butter and fruits, not a great value for the price. The laundry service also took a lot longer and the stuff came back half wet, which made all clothes smell stinky afterall. In the end there was an incident as the staff forgot the payment, but took the whole fault to us and made pressure to pay on a private bank account instead of giving us time to handle it via booking customer service.

Comfortable bed, good pool and breakfast was lovely. Staff were very nice, welcomed us with fruit juice. Hotel sorted activity of dolphin watching for us.

Shower - rainfall shower cold water only and small shower head only has hot water however no stand for the shower to sit so had to hold whilst showering what’s abit awkward. Pool facilities only 2 sun lounges that were covered in bird poo. Maybe add more facilities to encourage pool use. We only used it once.

Staff were very attentive and gave good suggestions. Gave us Sri Lankan breakfast when we asked instead of continental. Good peaceful location and quiet, fairly close to the beach and other restaurants.

Room wasn't cleaned when we asked (maybe we came back to the room too early) but they gave us towels whenever we asked. The pool was lovely but did have a little debris from trees but it would be difficult to stop that.

Personalet er virkelig søde og taler både engelsk og tamilsk. De er gæstfrie. Morgenmaden er god og kan nydes udenfor ved poolen. Området er perfekt!

Top marks to all of the staff who were just lovely., no request was too much. Hotel was kept clean and tidy all of the time. Breakfast requests were catered for, it was a bit noisy with the crows at all hours of the day.

El personal que trabaja allí es simplemente MARAVILLOSO! nos han tratado como familia, de forma cercana y atenta en todo momento. Durante una semana de estancia nos hemos sentido como en casa en este hotel. Sin duda volveremos! La calidad de las habitaciones, la comodidad de las habitaciones, el desayuno era espectacular y variado todos los días a tendiendo a las necesidades especiales de casa cliente. Hemos podido descansar y disfrutar con toda la tranquilidad 😊

Staff were always available and very welcoming. Pool was great with just a short walk to the beach. Cafe's, bars and restaurants close by.

If temple visit is the main aim, then the location of this villa seems a bit away and we found better options, in terms of cost, ambience and experience, closer to the temple upon visiting the place. Staff were warm but when they had to handle issues we encountered, we saw some long faces.

The room charges at the time of booking was different from what they actually charged us as they used the dollar conversion whereas we froze the booking on INR. This was a bit disappointing. Preparation of lunch took a bit of a time. The taste was very very average. The room that was allotted to us initially had water seepage problem in the bathroom (flush water flowing back on to the floor... yew!). We asked for a change, they did not like it initially but when we insisted, they accommodated it. Had we known about the issues, we wouldn't have definitely stayed at this place.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Weg zum traumhaften Strand ist nicht weit (ca. 300 m). Ideal um ein paar Tage auszuspannen.

The highlight was definitely the staff - they were really helpful and friendly, the breakfast was great - a lot of different things and the accommodation was (in our experience since we were travelling a little bit on a budget) really nice - with a/c, good bathroom, the highlight was also the pool.

Frühstück optisch ziemlich unappetitlich, so dass wir es vorgezogen haben, lieber auswärts zu frühstücken.

Il personale della struttura è squisitamente accogliente ma purtroppo il giudizio generale è deludente! Le foto sembrano meglio della realtà. Siamo stati 5 notti a fine agosto. Si trova all’interno di una strada sterrata, a circa 300 mt dalla spiaggia (non hanno posti riservati sulla spiaggia, quindi bisogna arrangiarsi). La struttura è tenuta male, trasandata e poco pulita. La piscina inutilizzabile perché l’acqua è davvero sporca. Anche la camera, soprattutto il bagno, non è molto pulito. Il sedile del water ha un alone giallo! Se si soggiorna più di una notte, la pulizia della camera va chiesta esplicitamente, ma purtroppo non puliscono più di tanto. Le finestre hanno delle tende oscuranti ma che non oscurano affatto, quindi entra tanta luce in camera. Il bagno ha doccia aperta ed ogni volta che si usa si allaga tutto il resto del bagno, abbiamo dovuto chiedere di asciugare perché si scivolava e di darci un tappetino per uscire dalla doccia perché mancava. La colazione scarsa sia come proposta che per la qualità del cibo ed il livello di pulizia degli attrezzi è davvero basso (il bollitore dell’acqua calda era lercio!) Inoltre le stanze danno su il giardino interno con la piscina e c’è rumore anche dal mattino presto; organizzano cene e feste di compleanno con musica a tutto volume e schiamazzi fino a tardi, proprio fuori dalla porta delle camere! Decisamente sopravvalutato! Ci sono dei posti migliori dove soggiornare.

Staff really friendly and super helpful but the resort is dated and not everything works properly. Air conditioning leaked, lights hanging off the walls, rooms safes not screwed down, towels had holes on them , some days it you got hot water others you didn’t.

Très bel hôtel. Chambre confortable et spacieuse. Le personnel est attentionné et les petit-déjeuners délicieux. Bien placé à Uppuveli (dans le centre et à 5 min de la plage)

Relativement cher mais Uppuveli est une destination chère donc c'est un bon rapport qualité/prix par rapport aux autres hôtels du même standing

La ubicación cerca de la playa y de la zona de restaurantes. Camas muy cómodas y aire acondicionado que funcionaba a la perfección. Personal muy atento y que te ofrece diferentes actividades sin ser muy insistentes. Desayuno modo buffet con tortillas hechas al momento.

Es un poco más caro que los alojamientos que en general en Sri Lanka.

The wonderful hotel staff because they were very nice, specially with my child, he loved them all. The shower had nice pressure and was warm enough, rooms were clean and ac was working perfectly. The location was quite close to the beach and restaurants. If I was coming again to Trincomalee I would repeat in this place.

We were really scared after our experience we had before we went to this hotel, but nothing to worry about. The staff were one of the better ones we had in the hotels during our trip, Thuray and the other staff have been more then amazing, they made sure we were care free. Because of joint issues a good bed is necassary for me, something you don't find in all the hotels, but of all the hotels during the trip, this hotel had the best bed. The hotel was clean and i felt treated like a queen, nothing seem to much, even though they work crazy hours and days, we have been served with a smile on their faces. The hotel has basic rooms, but everything you need. Definitely recommend this hotel

There were no dissapointments, the mat infront of the bathroom was warn down and dirty, but we told them and they would change it. And breakfast is lovely, but the same every day, which can be a bit boring, but when i look at the price of this hotel, they definitely ad more value to the money you pay

Отличный отель с прекрасным персоналом. Останавливаемся в этом отеле уже второй раз, удобно расположен недалеко от океана и улицы с ресторанами, хороший бассейн с шезлонгами. Хороший завтрак, даже когда нет шведского стола. Особенно хочу отметить Thurai - заботился о нас как о членах своей семьи, всегда во всем помогал. Каждый приезд (в прошлом году жили в другом отеле, так как здесь запрещено проживание с детьми до 3 лет, а мы были с 2-летним ребенком, но приходили в ресторан на ужин) - теплый приём. Радует, что начали ремонт в отеле - все же время идет и в таком климате все быстро ветшает. В номерах удобные кровати, места для троих хватает.

La ubicación es perfecta y el tamaño de las habitaciones estupendo. El personal que sirve el desayuno es muy agradable y además si vas a excursión de snorkel te lo pueden preparar para take away.

El primer día encontramos dos cucarachas en el baño y un pequeño sapo. Aunque no volvieron a aparecer, creo que sería buena opción repasar las habitaciones antes de que entre La alcachofa por donde sale la ducha estaba un poco sucia.

De badkamer, veel bruine schimmelvlekken, 3 dagen lang geen warm water, shampoo houdertjes die stuk waren. Gele wc bril. Onderhoud in het resort laat te wensen over.

Śniadania w formie bufetu, zarówno lankijskie jak i angielskie. Owoce, świeże soki, dużo jajek w różnej postaci (można sobbie wybierać codziennie), pieczywo tylko tostowe, ale też dużo różnych słodkich i słonych bułek. Obsługa znakomita, pomocna i życzliwa. Największe podziękowania dla Thuraia, który dbał o nas na każdym kroku. W hotelu czuliśmy się swobodnie, mogliśmy spędzać czas na terenie hotelu i na basenie w dowolnych porach, nikomu nic nie przeszkadzało. Lokalizacja doskonała, do pięknej plaży Uppuveli maks. 5 min. na piechotę. Obok hotelu mnóstwo barów i restauracji.

Brak miejsca do przechowywania w pokoju. Nie ma szafy, jest tylko wieszak i dwie małe szafki przy łóżku.

Staff were great, super friendly and helpful. Location was also fab as can easily get down to fernandos easily which offers a wide range of food and drinks or you can walk down the beach to other places to eat and drink which are lovely at nighttime. We hired a scooter through the hotel and this was super easy and affordable to do and allowed us to go and explore further away. Aircon was effective and cooled the room down really well. We had 2 balconies, one by the front door which overlooked the pool and was beautiful when dark because of all the lights and the back balcony was really handy for drying clothes off. Bathroom was a good size and had the option for a cold or hot shower. Had a small shampoo and shower gel bottle left as well as a hand soap. Bed linen was clean and the fridge was working and cold. At night time they locked the gates and had someone there to let us in when we came back which made it feel quite safe. Breakfast included freshly made omelette and a fresh juice as well as other local staples and toast etc. Staff were always very attentive and friendly and made us feel very welcome.

No safety deposit box even thought it was included on the listing. Tv didn’t work (but we didn’t mind and I’m sure if we had asked someone to look at it they would have been able to sort it out). Lots of big red ants (weaver ants) where the sun loungers were so couldn’t sunbathe without them crawling around

Het was een goeie locatie en het personeel was super vriendelijk. Onze was is netjes gedaan en de kamers waren ook keurig en schoon.

Het zwembad was heel erg chloor rijk waardoor het niet prettig was om erin te zwemmen. Ook was het allemaal wat verouderd en minder mooi dan we hadden verwacht vanuit de foto’s.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’emplacement de l’hôtel, situé dans un quartier calme et agréable. Le personnel est gentil et accueillant, ce qui rend le séjour d’autant plus plaisant. Le petit déjeuner est bon, la literie confortable, et l’ambiance générale très reposante.

Malgré ces aspects positifs, plusieurs points nous ont déçus, surtout compte tenu du prix un peu élevé de la chambre. Les prestations ne sont pas à la hauteur de ce tarif : une forte odeur persistait dans la salle de bain, et l’évacuation de l’eau dans la douche et le lavabo fonctionnait mal. De plus, le ménage n’était pas fait tous les matins, ce qui est particulièrement gênant dans une ville côtière où le sable s’accumule vite dans la chambre.

Locatie. Vriendelijk personeel. Ruime parkeerplaats, laundry service. De vrouwelijke medewerker aan de receptie is erg vriendelijk.

Accommodatie viel ons echt zeer tegen. Snap de hoge score niet. Onze grootste punt, zeer gehorig en luidruchtig. ‘s ochtends starten ze al om 05:30/06:00 met luide werkzaamheden.. stoelen schuiven, hoop hondengeblaf., zonder oordopjes konden wij niet slapen. Daarnaast slechte, koude douche, door alle kalk kwam er bijna geen water uit. Kamer was niet schoon, overal nog stof, haren, zelfs spullen onder het bed. Ontbijt is tot 10:00 maar rond 09:00 was veelal de helft al op. Geen donkere gordijnen, en achterdeur is met beplakt plastic, dus zodra zon op komt, licht in kamer. Ze verbranden naast het terrein al hun rotzooi, is gebruikelijk in Sri Lanka maar je hebt er veel geuroverlast van. Let op, zwembad is niet heel schoon en veel kapotte en loszittende delen.

L’emplacement est impeccable, a deux pas de la plage, près d’une rue animée et commerçante. La chambre est propre et la literie très agréable. Le personnel a été aux petits soins.

L’espace de la piscine mériterait une franche amélioration … 5 transats pour l’ensemble de l’hôtel dont seulement deux avec matelas .. beaucoup de bazar qui traîne autour comme des serpillères, du linge sale, des seaux, des bâches … Les déchets des alentours attirent les corbeaux, leur présence constante est presque épuisante.

The staff were kind and tried to be helpful, although communication was difficult due to very limited English.

Unfortunately, our stay in Room 106 was very disappointing. There was no internet connection inside the room, The room and facilities felt very dated, with a damaged fridge and even frogs in the toilet. Flies were everywhere, including at breakfast, which was served outside with no cover or protection for the food.The overall Hygiene and upkeep were below standard. I am sorry to say this, but I would not stay here again or recommend it based on my experience.

Goede locatie, vlak bij het strand en dicht bij Fernando's en andere restaurantjes. Zeer vriendelijk personeel die voor ons een snorkeltour naar Pigeon Island boekten. Ontbijt was ok.

De kamers waren niet zo proper. Ook lege glazen en flessen op het terras werden niet opgeruimd en bleven enkele dagen staan. Hygiëne kan veel beter. Te weinig ligstoelen aan het zwembad en verouderde kussens.

Une MERVEILLE Le personnel est littéralement aux petits soins pour nous, tout le monde a le sourire, quels souvenirs merci! Notre enfant de 3 ans a été traité comme un véritable petit roi : câlins, attentions particulières, cadeau de départ emballé, il était aux anges! L’hôtel est moderne, la chambre était assez grande et fonctionnelle (bien équipée avec Clim, frigo, bouilloire) vue sur la piscine, et avec un petit patio individuel avec salon de jardin devant la chambre pour déguster les excellents jus de fruits frais préparés par leur soins. Le petit dej était top, avec autant de la cuisine occidentale que des spécialités Sri Lankaises. Dédicace spéciale à la cuisinière qui préparait tous les petits plats que nous commandions (la carte a un excellent rapport qualité prix, ce qui est d’autant plus apprécié à Trincomalee, ville touristique ou les prix pratiqués sont plus élevés que la moyenne). Tout était délicieux! Pour finir, l’hôtel est située à côté de la plage, dans une rue animée qui nous permet de tout faire à pied! Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour et pour les souvenirs que vous avez laissé à notre petit garçon!

Het ontbijt vind ik niet echt top. De hotelkamer is oke, maar wat verouderd.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, allowing us into our room early. The room we chose was also a good size. The location was a short walk to a lovely beach. The Sri Lankan breakfast was great with good portion sizes.

The room had a few flies and there were some ants in the bathroom - enough to be noticeable, but not enough to put us off.
