The location was good, we had a late check-in and the staff was very accommodating. He was very hospitable and service was always with a smile. Rooms were of a decent size and clean. The breakfast was delicious, we ordered the sandwiches and omelette. It was all halal.

The AC was not cooling, had a bit of an uncomfortable night's sleep. The reception always smells of curry, might be off putting to some guests. Not to complain but other guests should be aware. There is a food mall adjoining the hotel, with good lunch and dinner options. Extremely affordable stay.

There are no green areas as per the photos. Trees are cut down. And the access to the rooms is not easy while going to the reception. The door out from the reception and the door entering the rooms area is like obstacles. Also most of the days in one room late at night someone plays music with a high level of sound. No one eventually cares, staff's as well.

We were looking for a hotel close to our relatives in Mount Lavinia, close to the Galle Road, and this property was the only one that fit our needs in terms of costs, facilities, breakfast, and value. The staff went out of their way to help us settle in. Dusyanthan, Prageeth, and Thulani served us very well. It has a 24-hour front desk, so it is particularly great for people coming on late flights into Colombo. The breakfast was delicious. The Fusion Food Court, with a lot of food options, is next door, which is convenient as well. We stayed on two non-consecutive days since we had to visit places outside of Colombo and come back before the flight.

We had to ask the front desk for the iron. And the room size, while standard for Sri Lanka, is a bit smaller than we have been used to in North America.

Location is great.

I will be better to keep out door chair for every room out side on ground floor rooms.

What I like most about the property is its overall atmosphere and comfort. The place feels welcoming, well-maintained, and peaceful. I also appreciate the cleanliness, the convenient location, and the effort put into providing good facilities and service, which made the stay comfortable and enjoyable. Love the Team which they always make everything better and possible. Thank you Pragaath and Thusha. What I liked most about the property was the super outstanding staff who always went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. Their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to help truly made the stay even more enjoyable.

This whole place was spot clean! The staff was amazing and they look happy with their tasks. Seems like it was newly renovated and the have done a great job! They also have a nice restaurant at the lobby area.

Only thing was the view from the balcony is not that nice. But they can easily fix this. This is easily negligible.

The staff were amazing. We had a late check in at 2am and they were able to accommodate us. The rooms were clean.

I stayed at this hotel recently and had a good experience. The staff were friendly and greeted me warmly, making check-in smooth. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. I really appreciated the hospitality

From the moment we arrived, after traveling for 24 hrs, the staff could not do enough for us. Check in was easy, we were treated to complimentary drinks and our bags were taken to our room. 2 large double beds greeted us and a walk in shower was just what was needed. After winding down, we decided not to go out but to eat at the hotel and that was an excellent choice. Fresh cooked local food, generous portions and very reasonable. After a great night's sleep, the breakfast, which was included, set us up for the day.

The staff are good, but the property is not value for money. The air conditioner is not working properly. They did not refill the bathroom amenities on time. For the last two days, they did not refill the bathroom amenities. Food order is always getting delayed

This was my 4th time here . The service is not bad. The air conditioner has not been cooling for four days, so I have been using the fan. Overall, it is good. The staff are very good.

Staff were on duty when I checked in, allowed the person ( requesting money )into the lobby to engage with the hotel guest. Staff did nothing when he approached the guest. This should not have happened.

The hotel was perfectly situated for visiting different places. The room was pleasant and worth what I paid.

The room I was allocated was typically not within the closed corridor area and Mosquitoes invade in the evening if the door is slightly open. Breakfast was saved late on 2 mornings despite of being pre ordered but were tasty.

My room was very Noisy outside noise and inside too , it was not comfortable for me..

Bed was comfortable. AC worked without any issues. Staff were professional. Cable tv worked without any issues.

We paid for a room and the breakfast. The staff said us to place an order the night before so they can arrange it in the morning. We called and placed an order and said them to bring breakfast to our room at 9.00 a.m. But the food never came. We had to give them a call and remind to bring us food. We called them at 9.15 a.m and they brought food at 10.30 a.m. we were starving the whole time. Wouldn't recommend if you have a tight schedule the next day. The room was very small.

No lift have to climb stsirs. No phone to tge reception and the number to call from personal phone wS not ansered by staff. Rooms were not provided with basics ie no coffee, water and toilet tissue. Had to keep asking

Die Unterkunft war insgesamt sehr sauber. Besonders das Bad und die Dusche waren wirklich ordentlich und nicht dreckig. Auch das Bett war sauber. Durch Klimaanlage und Ventilator war es angenehm kühl und überhaupt nicht warm. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist gut. Außerdem war das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit – wenn es ein Problem oder eine Frage gab, wurde uns direkt geholfen.

Die Unterkunft war leider sehr hellhörig. Am Ende des Aufenthalts war der Service nicht optimal, da wir sehr lange auf ein Taxi warten mussten und dadurch fast unseren Bus verpasst haben. Ansonsten gab es keine weiteren negativen Punkte.

The hotel was located inside the city which made it convenient to travel across different tourist places. The breakfast offered by the property was also good.

1. Breakfast options are limited. 2. We had booked a double deluxe room only to find that the room was extremely small and we had limited space to roam about or even keep the bags 3. There is no elevator inside the hotel which makes it challenging for people who have multiple baggages. 4. We were given a room with no phone connection. Each time we had to go downstairs to the reception for any assistance.

I loved the property overall however it was a bit further out from the main attractions in Colombo eg. Galle face

Location was a bit inadequate for my stay but you have everything you need nearby except for the main city attractions.

The room was comfortable. It was close to the sea. The staff were accommodating most of the time.

The breakfast was not up to expectation. The Western options were poor. They served French toast which was burnt. On both days. On Sunday breakfast was served late. I had to wait 15 minutes from the time they promised to serve breakfast. I had no time to eat it. The toilet had a musty smell to it, which could not be disguised with the air freshener that the hotel was using.

Room and toilet were clean. Staffs are very friendly and super helpful and kind. They also provide food with pay. Loved the experience.

We stayed at Viveka Hotel for one night (around 8 hours). The room was comfortable and accommodated four beds well, and the bathroom was spacious. The hotel is in a prominent location with easy access, which was very convenient. Breakfast was tasty, though the service was slow due to limited staff, so it’s best to inform them early. If you’re okay with waiting a bit, the food is good. Since our stay was very short, we didn’t get a chance to explore the property further.

The upkeep of the common areas could be improved.
