Die Lage ist super, Blick auf das Reisfeld. Pool ist super und gut zum Schwimmen geeignet. Die Unterkunft bietet eine Sharing Küche, voll ausgestattet, super sauber, es gibt auch Sitzmöglichkeiten um dort zu essen. Das Zimmer/ obere Etage/ war super, groß und geräumig, TV, Wasserkocher, Kaffee und Tee. Super auch, es gibt Wasserspender zum Nachfüllen- großer Pluspunkt aus ökologischer Sicht. In unmittelbarer Nähe, Essensmöglichkeiten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Ein großes Lob, an das sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Wir kommen wieder.

Extreem schoon! vriendelijk personeel Sereen, rustig en heel fijn Uitzicht op rijstvelden Pluspunt is de laundry om de hoek Ik snap niet waarom dit werd geadverteerd als 1/2 sterren? Het is oprecht wel 4 sterren waard en is op alle vlakken erg goed.

Staff is friendly and superb on handling our days there. Even provided us a list of food joint so that we are always full... The view is amazing

A bit far from Kuah Town, Airport and Chenang. Nearest beach is Tanjung Rhu

This is a very comfortable hotel for a stay in Langkawi. The rooms are spacious and clean, comfortable bed (Asian style firm, but not too hard), good hot water and good wifi. It's not located in the more touristy areas of the island which I think has an advantage. Affordable and easy drive to most areas of the island people tend to visit. But, probably best if you rent a car to get around.

ドアの建て付けが悪くなっており、閉めるのに力が必要です。 目の前が田んぼなので、虫が苦手がたくさんいます。

There is so much to like about D Villa Guesthouse. We stayed in a deluxe double room. Massive room, huge clean queen bed, towels and facilities like tea, coffee and kettle provided. Felt like location was paradise - overlooking a rice paddy. Pool was also delightful and clean. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We rented a scooter from the hotel for 24 hours and they were so helpful in every way. We even extended our stay as we loved it so much. Thank you so much!

Die Unterkunft befindet sich in der Natur, inmitten Reisfeldern. Die Zimmer sind top ausgestattet, und es gibt in dem Hotelkomplex sogar eine saubere Küche und ein Pool. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und man konnte auch ohne Probleme einen Roller ausleihen. Der Strand Tanjung Rhu ist nicht in Gehweite, man kann aber problemlos mit dem Taxi fahren.

Simple motel with very friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. It's good value but don't expect luxury. It is in the quieter part of Langkawi - perfect if you are wanting some peace and access to the better beaches

The pool

The best place to stay in Langkawi if you want to avoid overcrowded places and typical beach resorts. This is calm, village environment place, surrounded by rice fields and palm trees. Really clean and cozy swimming pool. The scooter rental is for a good price at this place and the guy let us to use it in the morning in addition. Super place! You have hippy place to eat nearby in the rice fields. Hotel gives nice recommendations for the places to eat (Fish and chips place has a super view). Highly recommended!

This place is the BEST BEST BEST, we only booked first for 4 night but we kept extending our stay. The staff is so kind and helpful, the apartment is clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful view to a rice fields. The village has the most beautiful beaches at Langkawi. We have been traveling for a while but this place is one of our favorite. Thank you so much for everything🤗

Letti comodi e confortevoli, anche se semplici. Posizione comoda se si dispone di auto o scooter, perfetta per muoversi in autonomia. Struttura pratica e funzionale, ideale per chi cerca comodità e semplicità.

Bagno funzionale ma migliorabile. Andrebbe curato di più nella manutenzione e nei dettagli, perché con qualche intervento potrebbe essere decisamente migliore. Cucina condivisa carente e poco attrezzata. Mancano pentole e accessori essenziali: ad esempio non c’era nemmeno una pentola adatta per cuocere la pasta. Servizio da migliorare, soprattutto per chi sceglie la struttura proprio per la possibilità di usare la cucina.

It is too far/too hot to walk to the beach or the town restaurants. A car or motorbike is essential.

*das Personal: extrem einladend, freundlich, fröhlich und zuvorkommend! 🩵 Meine Tochter und ich fühlten uns vom ersten Moment an gut aufgehoben und willkommen *die Ausstattung: das Zimmer ist eine Budget-Option - dafür fanden wir die Ausstattung überraschend gut (Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, eine kleine Auswahl an Tee/Kaffee, Besteck, Shampoo/Seife, täglich 2 Flaschen Wassser, Kosmetiktücher). *die Lage: zunächst war ich besorgt, dass wir möglicherweise etwas zu weit weg vom „Geschehen“ gelandet wären - darüber waren wir dann aber sehr froh - Cenang war komplett überlaufen… D‘Villa Guesthouse war entspannt. Zu Fuß gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe ein Thai-Restaurant und einen anderen Imbiss mit lokaler Küche plus Spaghetti (was eine besondere Freude für meine Tochter war). Wir waren allerdings froh, dass wir trotzdem ein Moped hatten - so konnten wir die Insel flexibel erkunden *Mopedverleih: sehr günstig und unbürokratisch wurde uns ein Moped zur Verfügung gestellt (25 RM pro Tag) *der Pool: im angenehm warmen Wasser des Pools hier lernte meine Tochter schwimmen 😍 *der Ausblick: es ist ein entspanntes Bild, den Kühen beim Grasen zuzuschauen. *die Ruhe: lärmender Verkehr und lärmende Menschen waren für uns kein Thema *gut funktionierende Klimaanlage *extrem angenehme Betten/Bettdecken *bei Anfragen/Problemen war der nette junge Herr an der Rezeption sehr reaktionsschnell und professionell *freundliche Damen beim Roomservice

Es wäre schöner, wenn die geflieste Mauer am Pool Hängepflanzen hätte.

Very quiet place and beautiful view

Die guten Bewertungen sind eindeutig fake, das Zimmer ist zwar geräumig jedoch nicht sehr sauber. Dad Badezimmer verströmt einen unangenehmen Geruch und ist ebendfalls kein Wohlfühlort. Die Bilder sind zwar schön, die Realität sieht etwas anders aus. Aufpassen beim Buchen.

It's budget, and I wasn't sure what to expect but it was good value for the money. The room was nice, clean, comfortable. Bed was fine. Staff were good. Room was cleaned every day. No bugs or anything bad noticed. Location-wise it suited us perfectly because we are keen explorers and I don't like resorts. But, it's not really near anything you can walk to (apart from the good restauarant next door - budget, but good). We hired scooters from the hotel as soon as we arrived and we ate local every day and generally just used the hotel to clean ourselves and sleep. There are some fabulous local restaurants just a short drive away.

Um, nothing really. There was the typical obligatory guy with a chainsaw nearby first morning, but apart from that one day it was quiet and peaceful.

Dirty bath mat. Drunk people playing music outside our room all night and moving our furniture. Pool was full of bugs. Management did nothing when told about constant noise from alcoholics next door despite notices in room advising no alcohol in rooms. Shower soaked the bathroom wet. Old tattered towels and yellowed (should be white) bed linen.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was very comfortable and facing the rice fields, which was great. The shared kitchen was an excellent service and the pool was clean and fresh. Had a really great stay, thank you so much to all the team!

The location is perfect. Super accessible with big parking. Room was super clean and bed very comfy. The team members were always willing to help and easy to communicate with. The swimming pool is a perfect addition. Fridge in the room Super big kitchen to share with other guests. Big supermarket around the corner with many choices available. Smaller shop with nice veggies selection. The lamb at the combat cafe is really good. Don’t miss the night market on Friday night. We will be back 😊 Terima kasih

Ubytovanie v prijemnom prostredi, pri ryzovych poliach. Da sa za nizky poplatok pozicat skuter. Personal prijemny, pomohli a poradili ak bolo treba.

The staff were friendly and responsive. The pool was clean (although it is smaller than the picture since a fourth of it is sectioned off for kids). The room was spacious. They provided free water bottles, tea, coffee, soap, and shampoo. They cleaned when you asked. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. We didn’t have the same issue that other people did with Grabs (the average wait time was 5 mins or less).

The WiFi strength was inconsistent. There were several bugs/hair in the bed and on the sheets (not bed bugs) and the sheets on one of the beds smelled bad. The door did not fit the doorframe correctly so the cold air doesn’t stay inside (there was a fan that helped though) and the bugs don’t stay outside.

Het personeel is super vriendelijk en willen je graag helpen. Roti Canai Power (ontbijt) en Camp Cafe Langkawi (avond, kampvuurtje) zitten in de buurt en zijn absoluut het bezoeken waard!

De locatie is niet top. Er is weinig te doen in de buurt. Strand wat vlakbij is, is grotendeels privestrand.

Nice guesthouse in the northern part of Langkawi. We stayed for 4 nights and for us it was the perfect base to explore the whole island. The owners as well as staff are really friendly and attentive. Scooter rental is also possible at the guesthouse and the state of the scooters and the prices are excellent.

The rooms have a little bit grown in the tooth and the beds were not extremely comfortable.

Extremely helpful staff with regards to advanced Grab booking. Large Room. Friday's Pasar Malam, a few hundred meters away, was a highlight for this stay.

Don't expect to get an early morning Grab to airport as the hotel is considered by the locals to be located at "the end of the world" on the island. Not even an advanced booking. Consider instead to book another hotel nearby the airport for the last day if your flight is 8am or 9am.

Not clean, a lot of mosquitoes in the room, the location is very far from everything and noisy at night as many cars and bicycles keep coming to drop people off, no value for money at all

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The rooms were spacious with 2 double beds and aircon. The shower pressure was good and the water was hot. Everyone working at the hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful - they helped us when our flight was delayed and when we were struggling to get a taxi to the airport in time for our flight. There is a well-stocked kitchen where you can heat up and prepare food. It is away from the classic tourist spots but close to a lovely beach and the Friday markets and they gave us high quality scooter rental for a really good price. There is also a pool which has some chairs around which is nice to cool off. There is a nice view over fields with lots of nature. There is some construction across the field but it did not disrupt us at all. 10/10 - we loved our stay here and would recommend it

Stayed for 4 days, 3 nights. The entire house was relatively clean. Beddings and pillows were quite comfortable.

There is no rack or hook inside the bathroom for you to hang your tower and clothes when you are showering. Also, we were unable to shower in the afternoon as the water was way too hot even when we did not switch on the heater.

The location was awful. A bit like being in a motel with not much around. The bedroom door was not great and I didn’t feel safe in it. Couldn’t wait to leave
