The staff members of Kata View Guest House are very warm, kind, and helpful. Kata View Guest House is a very clean and attractive place. I like the pretty granite main staircase and the granite details in the decor. My understanding is a family member actually built the staircase! I appreciate the real wood furniture in the rooms, too.

Everything was so good and very clean. The people were so nice.

Maybe the shower was a little inconvenient.

The room was big with a balcony ( I did not know we would have one :-)). Nice view. Quiet place near the main road and the beach. Everyday cleaning service = no sand in the room and drinking water. Fridge and air conditioning were working effectively. We came for check in after midnight (a receptionist wait for us) by an arranged transfer (not the cheapest option possible, but normal price and it was easy to navigate through organization). The payment possible with credit card with 3% bank surcharge - we paid accommodation and transfer fee together at the reception, so we did not need to exchange money at the airport through not good rate.

We selected the accommodation as well for offered facilities - but except check in I never met anybody at the reception. I did not receive the answer about ordered transfer for a long time - only shortly before trip when I started to panic about not confirmed reservation, so I wrote to the e-mail from their official accommodation website and shortly after I received answers to my questions about transfer, late check in, if they are actually counting with me.... communication before stay should improve through booking chat. At the end everything had happy ending, but me personally I am prefering secure arrangements enough time upfront when the situation is not usual (check in during night/early morning, using extra service).

Лучший из не дорогих отелей. Проживали в номере 303. Тишина и спокойствие. Уборка каждый день. Полы моют, не просто подметаают. Постельное и полотенца не новые, но всегда постираны и пахнут кондиционером. Персонал очень приветлив, на любые вопросы, просьбы сразу реагируют. Есть кухня, можно попить чай, кофе, есть тосты, джем, все бесплатно. Так же имеется микроволновка, тостерница и термоспот. Есть пляжные полотенца, так же можно взять коврики для пляжа и даже шляпы. До пляжа минут 5-7. Много обменника, кафе, спа-салонов. Не далеко ночной рынок. Все в шаговой доступности. Отель рекомендуем.

Super clean, spacious room. Very kind hosts, always ready to help. A lot of options for breakfast nearby. Cosy beds.

Noise from the street (bikes, yes, for European may be little bit noisy) but soundproofing of sliding windows is good so be ready to sleep with A/C on and closed windows.

Best place I could have stayed. Clean, friendly, and right near the beach location. Honestly could not have chosen a better place.

For me everything was great. There's everything you need near by, food, transportation and they had connections to a lot of the tourist attractions. Family owned business they were great and always available.

Очень хорошее месторасположение, рядом 7 eleven, до пляжа 7-10 мин пешком, уборка каждый день, в номере холодильник и свежая вода.

Приветливый персонал, чисто, уборка каждый день, полотенца пляжные можно взять на рецепшене

Расположен на границе Каты и ката ной, далеко от центра Каты и всех магазинов, ресторанов, рынков, то есть на улочке , где данный гостевой дом выбора никакого нет, даже фрукты купить проблема. Матрасы в номере отдельная песня, настолько жесткие, что спина болела весь отпуск. Как на скамейке спать будете. В номере нет ни чайника, ни фена, бегать в основной корпус за кипятком так себе история. Жить можно только в соседнем корпусе, в основном такой шум от дороги , что как будто живешь на трассе. До пляжа и хотя бы какой-то цивилизации в горку идти 10-15 минут, путь тяжелый. Завтраков нет, только кухня, где есть кипяток, чай, кофе, печеньки, на ночь кухня закрывается. Воду по 2 бутылки уборщицы иногда забывают класть.

Всё понравилось! Красивый, чистый, уютный отель. Вид с балкона на пальмы, плодовые деревья и горы. Была возможность обедать и ужинать в гостиной или на балконе как альтернатива кафе.

La proximité de la plage, du centre. La propreté du logement. Le minimum est prévu, l air conditionné, le frigo, des essuies.

Vu le prix, la chambre etait tres sobre, et la fenêtre donnait sur une autre fenêtre, sans aucune vue et la tenture ne fermait pas à fond. J avais pris la chambre de base, à éviter pour un séjour. Pour un transite ok. Attention que le lit, c est pas le confort non plus!

A little bit off of the main strip, really good cafe and restaurants around here. Would definitely recommend, they also booked us a taxi super early in the morning for the airport.

Мы снимали 3 местный номер со своей ванной комнатой, понравилась чистота в номере, ежедневная уборка.

То что нет полноценного окна, в номере темно, на букинге при бронировании про это не написано. По факту заходим в номер с первого этажа, а окна выходят на цокольный этаж.

Perfect location staff very polite and helpful

Очень классная и гостеприимная хозяйка отеля, с ней приятно было иметь дело. Арендовали номер на заднем дворе. Брали у нее байк за 200 бат в сутки.

Уборка каждый день, номер просторный, расположение отличное!

Матрас не понравился, чувствовалась каждая пружина.

Заселение разочаровало. В номере очень скользкий пол (реально опасно). Нет чайника, нет розеток у кровати, на всю комнату всего две розетки, при этом из-за крупного штекера нельзя одновременно заряжать два устройства — приходилось заряжать всё по очереди. Душ встроен в стену, “быстро сполоснуть ноги” после пляжа почти невозможно — мокнешь целиком. Дали номер с видом в стену, постель неудобная: вместо нормального пододеяльника и одеяла — фактически старое покрывало и простынь снизу И главное: бронировала улучшенный двухместный номер с окнами на зелень, а заселили в другой номер, которого не было в вариантах бронирования. Wi-Fi очень плохой, постоянно отключается — работать невозможно. расположение хорошее

I loved the location, hospitality, they provided complimentary tea and bread was a very nice gesture, the family run guest house was not only cute (Mother-daughter) but also very efficient.

To be frank we stayed there for one day, there was nothing we could think about which was not nice.

Дружелюбная хозяйка, русские переводы повсюду, без проблем дали чайник по запросу. Постель меняют каждый день, хорошая уборка. Рядом есть массаж, аптека, хорошая кофейня, кафешки и пр.

Не оказалось ножа, что печально, т. к. туристы часто покупают фрукты, чтобы порезать их в номере. Неудобная настенная (статичная) лейка, хоть её и можно чуть направлять, но стандартная лейка с шлангом в разы практичнее. Неудобный wi-fi, эпизодически отваливается, из-за чего приходилось часто логиниться.

I enjoyed my stay at Kata View Guesthouse. The staff is nice, my room was clean, the shower was nice and hot and the bed was comfortable. Super close to restaurants, shops, the beach and the community park. I would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Wer es einfach, sauber und abgeschieden vom Trubel mag, ist hier genau richtig. Super Preis Leistung und sehr nettes Personal. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Location is nice, beach is 5 min walk. Rooms are clean.

Simple but clean. Bed linen, towels are changed every day and the room is cleaned. Bottled water is always available in the fridge. The location is very good. Beaches, shops, a wide range of restaurants are within walking distance. A few steps away is a small Italian cafe where you can get good coffee and breakfast. The family who run the guesthouse are friendly and helpful. There is no problem they cannot solve. Day trips to the islands, show tickets, taxis, etc, ask them to organize. We got our island trips 50% cheaper than offers in the town. The house also offers massage services. If you have back pain or other nerve or muscle pain problems, there is a 74 year old lady there who I highly recommend. I got a lot of help from her. And it costs almost nothing. Please leave her a tip. Her work is worth it.

Not that there was anything we didn't like, but there are some minor drawbacks that are worth considering. The house is not very soundproof. Neighbors, slamming doors, and engine noise are well heard in the room for light sleepers at night time. The air conditioner can also be disturbing. Light sleepers should bring earplugs and noise problem is solved. It is also worth considering that there are no sockets by the beds and the television and wifi may not work properly at peak times.

Świetna lokalizacja, fajny duży pokój, bardzo czysto. Właściciele pomocni w każdej sprawie.

Okno z naszego pokoju na parterze wychodziło na sąsiadów z innego budynku, co było trochę krępujące, nie można było odwiesić okna rano.

Good location with a lot of restaurants a little walk away. The beach was also not too far. The rooms were clean and the motorbike rental was pretty cheap

The beds were a little bit small and wobbled a lot. We sleeped allright though so no big problem.

Location away from the busy part so a bit more peaceful, but close enough to easily walk to beach. The laundry service was good.

I had to change rooms after the first night. Was told a better room was available. The 2nd room had a balcony, which was better. But the bathroom was smaller and no shower curtain, so everything gets wet.

Day 1: The front desk insisted I pay additional fee to them because I was using a credit card. Paying hotel with credit card is not only standard, but also required all over the world. Yet, somehow it became the reason I need to pay additional 1000THB to them because "THEIR bank charges them more". This is a blatant disregard of the reservation contract on booking.com, a SCAM! Day 2: The AC in our room broke down. I don’t need to tell you how miserable we were because it is in the heat of Phuket. Finally, the maintenance guy showed up and refiled the Freon in the unit on the roof top. Day 3: The AC broke down again after only 20 hours! Apparently, there were leaks and they did not intent to fix it the first time. They thought they could just refill the Freon and get away with it the day before! This caused another miserable day for us. The building is about 3ft from a main road, which makes it very noisy ALL night with the cars and motorbikes roaring through. There were also bugs and mosquitos in the room, and one of us got some serious bites. There are a lot of basic things missing in the room, blow dryer, kettle etc. There are also no "views" whatsoever from any of the room, so don't believe in any of their descriptions!

Klimatyzacja chodziła zbyt głośno dla nas aczkolwiem byłam w 3 miejscach w Tajlandii i w Kata View Guest House chodziła najciszej z tych 3 miejsc. Bez klimy było bardzo gorąco w grudniu.

Доброжелательные гостеприимные хозяева. Чистые номера. За дополнительную плату нам поменяли номер. На номер с балконом потрясающий вид на гору. Рядом в 10 минутах ходьбы пляж ката. Если пройти минут 30 то пляж ката Ной будет в вашем распоряжении. Мы были с ребенком в этом районе очень много заведений с русской кухней, проблем в этом плане вообще никаких. В отеле нет завтрака но есть кухня с чайником хлебом тостером и джемом .

Нет такого все было супер.
