There were people making noise all night, I had just landed form the airport and wanted to rest but I couldn’t . I also instructed them clearly not to touch my room,I found them did the opposite. The bathroom bin had no plastic bag.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Location and the the quietness, The staff was friendly. The second room we got was open and the bed was comfortable. The place is close to everything you need.
The first room we got which was 106 had mold build up all over and the noise level was extreme bad. For safety, the window doesn't lock. For the whole duration our phone was not working and we have to go downstairs for everything.

1. the parking fee of R50 a night was not disclosed upfront 2. My husband and I drove for about 8hrs and upon arrival at the Hotel at 22:00, our room was not yet ready, we had to wait for an hour (tired as we were) for it to be cleaned.

Firstly when I booked the picture had a self catering kitchenette however the room was just a standard room ,the phone was not working, bathroom setup you can't even put your shower gel or anything for that matter ,there's no space for it, worse we were chosen a room on the third floor and there are no lifts, I don't know why I always get that side of the Bayside, next time please show the other Bayside I have used before, fridge had no shelf to put on aibo. I'm an easy customer however I was not happy with the choice of my room

the rooms are dirty, no space and the most turn-off was crocoches everywhere in our room. noise from other guests outside the room. we did not enjoy our stay at this property at all. the bed was not comfortable at all. I suffered from back-aches because of the bed.

the layout is a bit confusing - there are three (i think) separate Bayside Hotel entrances that seem to be owned by the same place but are separate? not a problem, just make sure to note the actual street address of the one you're going for

There was no lift and we were staying on the 3rd floor. On the second day, the cleaner asked us to leave early because she wanted to clean, so we had to wake up early even though it wasn’t our checkout day. The bathroom was also too small. We had problems with the following: - No plates provided - The telephone was not working - Staff with bad attitudes - The sink stopper was not working properly - The fridge had no storage trays inside
