Its not clean, the staff dont know how to manage booking i had to wait 1 hour to get a room. They never get my room ready and give it out to other guests who booked 2 rooms and they pretend like they never seen my booking on booking.com..its horrible

I was not happy with the TV, I like to watch football so lot of Super sport channels were not there. DSTV decoder is the solution and the image is not clean on the TV. But other things are perfect

The hotel was stuffy I mean the whole place was hot not just our room, It was so hot and the AC wasn’t working properly it would switch on for 5mins and automatically switch itself off, the water pressure was bad showering took so long and the drainage was also clogged as the water took very long to drain, there’s no wardrobe so you can’t hang your clothes you can only put them in a drawer, cleanliness was like a 5/10 the floor was sticky. The noise 😭was the worst the people we had booked with were so loud throughout and the staff didn’t seem to find a problem with that.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026The staff were very friendly. Especially the cleaners. The beds were comfy. The hotel is close to the beach, restaurant and the road.
Truly speaking solrand has downgraded it's status I booked my stay in 2021,2023 by that time everything was on point but this time around I was disappointed. The licking water pipes in the bathroom, odd sound that comes after flashing the toilets I couldn't sleep because the it's noise and unfortunately I didn't not even complained to be moved to another room the hotel was fully booked.

- The shower was not clean especially on the floor - There was little water from the basin and shower - There is no toilet brush - There is no hand towel or at least a place to hang your washing rag - There no shower mat for when getting out of the shower

I was required to pay a deposit of R100 before I could check in which was a surprise as I'm not sure what could've have happened if I didn't have it, you only find out when you check in about it. Also the room was too hot , the aircon was not effective in controlling the temperature and Room 23 has no window for ventilation.

My experience was deeply disappointing. Upon entering my assigned room, I discovered the bed sheets were dirty and stained. This is completely unacceptable for any establishment. I had to request a room change immediately, which should never be necessary upon arrival. Additionally, I left a R100 deposit at reception, with the assurance it would be refunded at checkout upon returning the AC and TV remote controls. However, when I checked out, the staff had absolutely no record or information about my deposit. This revealed a serious lack of internal communication and coordination. If your own team doesn't know that a guest has left a deposit, how can guests trust the system? Perhaps the most upsetting issue: a t-shirt and blouse went missing from my room. The housekeeping staff apparently removed them without my knowledge or consent—to where, I still don't know. On the day of my departure, I asked reception for help locating my clothes but received no assistance whatsoever. Due to my tight travel schedule, I was forced to leave without my belongings.
