The location is good and the view is nice

The sheets had a weird smell and the bed was awful, I couldn’t sleep all night (mostly because of the smell). The room is not in good conditions, nor the bathroom. The bathroom sink has no water pressure so I couldn’t wash my hands or anything else.

La familia que lo lleva es maravillosa, intentan ayudarte en todo lo que puedan para que la estancia mejore y te sientas como en casa. Nos lavaron la ropa y las vistas son espectaculares.

First of all, in the descriptions of the room was stated that there is an AC. When we came there was a fan which for Sri Lankan weather isn’t sufficient. The owner told us that he gave the AC room to someone who came few minutes before?? I didn’t understand him very well and and I gave him 5000lkr when we left and then I regretted it because my boyfriend told me what the owner told us (about giving our room to someone else,). My another huge issue was the journey there. It was the steepest hill ever. I was so scared to go downhill, it was almost slippery. It’s impossible to carry suitcases there. We stayed 10 minutes and then decided to book another accommodation. I don’t understand the positive reviews to be honest.

Bardzo przepięknie położony, na zboczu góry. Przy śniadaniu na tarasie widok bajkowy. Bardzo mili i serdeczni właściciele. Chętnie doradza co można zobaczyć w okolicy, ile zajmie to czasu. Są bardzo pomocni i otwarci. Śniadanie typowo lankijskie, proste ii obfite.. Dziękujemy

L'allotjament és perfecte! Insta·lacions bones, lavabo net i bones vistes des de l'habitació. L'esmorzar ve inclòs i està molt bo, a més és molt complet i abundant. Vull destacar l'atenció de la amfitriona de la casa, una senyora súper agradable, ens va ajudar en tot el que necessitàvem i ens va fer sentir molt còmodes durant la nostra estada allà. Recomano molt aquest allotjament!

The best panoramic view ever ! Lucky and his wife are so nice ! Clean room and confortable ! The view is a real happiness drug ! The Sri Lankan breakfast is so tasty ! The Hotel is loacted in a calm area, 5 min drive from the downtown. Tuk Tuk Available 24 / 24 for 500 LKR and Lucky can also help for Transport with his own car.

Hausbesitzer sind sehr nett

Es gibt keine Klimaanlage, ist bisschen außerhalb man braucht immer ein Tuktuk, Tür ist eine Glasschiebetür, Wlan hat nicht funktioniert

A little out of town which is fine but there was no phone signal and the wifi only worked for an hour or so a day so a little hard to make plans / arrange transport and book things

Nos gustó mucho la ubicación y la terraza panorámica. La señora es muy simpática y te gestiona el transporte que necesites. El desayuno no era continental, sino de Sri Lanka.

La humedad del baño, que hacía un olor raro en la habitación (parece que tienen una pared de la montaña) y la cuesta y escaleras para subir al alojamiento, aunque te ayudan a subir todo.

This property is now unfortunately a bit run down the bathroom was unclean, the shower came off the wall :) The owners were very nice and it was super cheap and probably clean enough for the price.

Owner was so nice and lovely very welcoming very helpful and very funny. Helped us with the bus service when needed. Really nice and spacious rooms. Breakfast included made by the owner hit the right spot every time. View from the rooms and the eating areas are 10/10

Geweldig klein hotelletje met prachtige mensen. Toen we aankwamen werden we meteen warm ontvangen en naar de kamer gebracht. Elke ochtend kregen we heerlijk vers ontbijt wat indika voor ons klaar maakte in de buiten keuken. In de avond legde ze voor ons een kleedje op het terras neer en belde ze de buurvrouw of ze haar licht uit kon doen zodat wij sterren konden kijken. We voelden ons hier helemaal thuis. Thank you indika, you stole our hearts❤️

Het verblijft heeft een prachtig uitzicht.

Чуть-чуть далеко до центра, но можно доехать на тук - туке за нормальную цену если поторговаться. Но без этого не было бы замечательного вида

Etwas außerhalb vom Zentrum gelegen, dafür ist man von hier zu Fuß nicht weit vom Wasserfall sowie dem Cave Tempel. Die Besitzer kümmern sich ganz lieb und das Frühstück ist großartig!

Die Hosts waren super super lieb und hilfsbereit. Mit dem TukTuk war man innerhalb weniger Minuten in der Stadt, auch der Host konnte einen fahren. Alles super, danke!

La vue est splendide, c’est un coin calme et posé. Le personnel est très aimable et serviable. Le rapport qualité prix est correct. Je recommande cet endroit 👌

Je déconseille aux personnes en incapacité physique ; pour atteindre l’hôtel il faut passer à pieds par une pente très raide et ensuite monter des marches. C’est largement faisable mais pas pour tout le monde 😊

Indika is a star: very helpful and welcoming guests. The view from the garden is stunning (you feel like in paradise). Good and tasty breakfasts and dinners home made. The bedroom is simple but very quiet. It is very good value for money.

I travelled with a suitcase rather than a rucksack and it was awkward to get luggage around. Owner very kind and strong and carried my bag up the steps for me though.

Hvis jeg kunne vågne til en udsigt resten af mit liv, skulle det være denne. Derudover er værten af stedet utrolig sød og hjælpsom, og laver desuden fremragende mad. Derudover ligger det i gåafstand fra little Adams peak, Ella rock og Ella town.

I liked how spacious and comfortable the room was. The breakfast is included in the price so it’s a very good deal!

Sehr herzlicher Empfang, ich bekam ein sehr großes Zimmer wg. einer Stornierung. Cooler Blick ins Tal, herrliches Morgenrot. Ich bekam ein sehr gutes Frühstück mit Spiegelei vom eigenen "glücklichen Huhn" :-)

Zum Hotel selbst geht es eine etwas steilere Rampe sowie Treppe bergauf. Oben angekommen genießt man dafür eine spektakuläre Aussicht auf das Umland. Das Personal war absolut zuvorkommen und hat alle Wünsche erfüllt. Der Host hat mich sogar gegen einen sehr fairen geringen Preis mit seinem Privatwagen in den Süden Sri Lankas gebracht.

Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation verlief unkompliziert. Auch die Lage der Unterkunft war grundsätzlich in Ordnung.

Leider war die Sauberkeit der Unterkunft ein großes Problem. Das Zimmer wirkte deutlich anders als auf den Bildern und insgesamt nicht richtig gereinigt. Besonders das Badezimmer war in einem sehr unhygienischen Zustand, was den Aufenthalt sehr unangenehm gemacht hat. Auch die Duscharmaturen waren nicht richtig befestigt und sind fast abgefallen. Auch die Handtücher waren leider nicht sauber. Sie hatten Flecken und wirkten teilweise noch feucht, sodass man sie kaum benutzen wollte. Insgesamt hatten wir daher kein gutes Gefühl, was die Hygiene in der Unterkunft betrifft.

Niet altijd warm water, dit moest je vragen aan de eigenaren. Kamers waren niet heel schoon, veel mieren. Meerdere dagen exact hetzelfde ontbijt. Uiteindelijk vraagt eigenaar om reviews met alleen maar 10’en, wat wij raar vonden.

Nuestra estancia fue genial. La dueña del lugar, Indica, fue muy amable con nosotros, una mujer entrañable y muy alegre. Nos lavó la ropa y se preocupó en todo momento de que estuviéramos bien. Súper recomendable, nosotros volveremos sin duda!

Leider war in dem Zimmer ein Starker schimmelgeruch welches uns das Atmen schwer gemacht hat.

Accommodation is a bit older, especially the bathroom, and sometimes the hot water wasn’t really hot. However, everything was clean. What I would really like to highlight is the approach of the owners — they were amazing: kind, helpful, always willing to give advice, arrange things, or even drive us to the train station, for example. The place has an absolutely stunning view. The only potential downside for some might be that it’s located a bit outside the center. Although it’s “only” about a 30-minute walk, the route goes along a road, so it’s not the most pleasant walk.

Peccato per le stanze con vetrate che affaccino dove passano tutti quindi devi stare sempre con le tende tirate.

La familia es super amable, muy atenta y siempre intentando ayudar y recomendando cosas :), el desayuno esta rico, buen arroz con currry!! El sitio tiene unas vistas increibles, y esta a unos 5’ de el centro de ella en tuktuk, pero tambien se puede coger un bus que pasa por delante con bastante frequencia por 30 rupias, esta bien conectado y cerca hay varias cascadas para ver!

The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming, always happy to help with anything we needed. The view from the terrace is absolutely beautiful – a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The location is not right in the city center, which we didn’t mind at all, as we enjoy walking and being close to nature. It’s a great spot for nature lovers. The facilities are rather basic, but for us they were more than sufficient. It’s a cozy, family-run place with a warm and intimate atmosphere.

Das Zimmer erfüllt durchaus seinen Zweck für eine Nacht. Abgesehen von einigen Ameisen, war es auch relativ sauber.

Es gibt zwar ein Moskitonetz, aber dieses geht nicht vollständig über das Bett. Von nur zwei vorhandenen Steckdosen hat nur eine funktioniert. Die Badezimmertür ist etwas instabil und man hat jedes Mal das Gefühl, dass sie gleich aus der Rahmen fliegt. Die Inhaberin war für unseren Geschmack etwas zu aufdringlich. Die Tassen von unserem Tee waren nicht sauber gespült, sondern leicht dreckig.

Sehr nette Leute und leckeres Essen zum Aufpreis, sehr empfehlenswert!
