Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Habe das Hotel wegen der Aussicht gebucht und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Sehr schönes Zimmer, relativ sauber und habe mich wohl gefühlt.
Die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig, ich fühlte mich als würde ich mit den Besitzern und den zwei Zimmern neben mir wohnen. Man hört alles, wirklich alles.

Персонал молодой, вежливый. Это точно находка для нас👍 Если немного пройти по улице вверх, то можно пообедать и купить всяких вкусняшек!

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Der Ausblick ist gewaltig. Jedesmal wieder, wenn wir Zimmer oder gar Terrasse betraten, waren wir fasziniert. Dabei sind wir als Westöstrreicher einiges gewöhnt. Das Tagesbett auf der eigenen Terrasse ist das Tüpfchen auf dem i. Wir haben oft überlegt und sind zum Schluss gekommen: vermutlich gibt es keinen besseren Ausblick in Ella. Dazu alles sauber. Die lärmende Stadt Ella ist auf gemütlichen Weg entlang de Bahngleise in 20 Minuten erreichbar, auf direktem Weg etwas mehr als 10 Minuten. Doch eigentlich sind genug Lokale auch angrenzend.
Das Hotel ist sehr hell hörig.

Reviewed Mar 10, 2026Отличный небольшой отель с видом на водопад и чайные плантации. → Рядом есть несколько ресторанов, где можно поужинать. → Утром сервируют прекрасный сытный завтрак с вкуснейшими местными блинчиками и фруктами. Позавтракать можно на балконе под шум водопада и пение птиц. → Доехать до центра не составило большого труда - рядом дежурят водители тук-туков, которые за нормальную цену довезут туда и обратно (но будьте осторожны, некоторые заламывают цену, поэтому лучше не соглашаться на первый попавшийся, но это к самому отелю никак не относится). → Горячая вода была всегда.
В номере на стенах, действительно, местами есть пятна, как отмечалось в некоторых других отзывах. Это, конечно, портит немного впечатления, но в целом в номере достаточно чисто.

Reviewed Feb 14, 2026Der Ausblick von unserem Balkon war extrem schön & man hatte einen Mega schönen Blick auf den Wasserfall. Das Zimmer war sauber. Der Inhaber war so lieb, interessiert und haben uns immer weiter geholfen und hat uns zum Abschied, weil es für uns nachts schon weiter ging, zwei Flaschen Wasser und Bananen mitgegeben. Die City konnte man fußläufig erreichen und wir würden die Unterkunft wieder buchen. Die Unterkunft ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!!

Reviewed Sep 17, 2025The balcony had an unbeatable breathtaking view. The room had all the amenities. The breakfast was fulfilling. Had a wonderful two nights stay. Host Kumar was a very positive, cordial and hardworking guy. There are a few restaurants and a convenience shop nearby. Ella town is just 7-8 min (500 LKR) tuktuk ride or 15-20 mins downhill walk away.
The shower may be enclosed with a curtain to keep the bathroom floor from entirely getting wet.

Also very quiet place. Hotel staff was very helpful. Breakfast was very good. You could eat it at the balcony. We overall enjoyed it.

In ca. 10-15 Minuten ist man in der Stadt (Fußweg mit Stufen, auch nachts machbar). Man kann direkt die Wanderung auf den ella Rock starten. Schönes Zimmer zum Wohlfühlen. Sehr leckeres Frühstück auf dem eigenen Balkon.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2025Tolle Lage, auch wenn es etwas oberhalb des Städtchens liegt. In wenigen Minuten ist man dank der Treppenstufen jedoch im Ort und hat hier oben aber seine Ruhe. Einige Essensmöglichkeiten, wie auch eine super Cooking Class gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist einfach traumhaft, die Betten sind sehr bequem. Dank des angenehmen Klimas konnten wir sogar mit offenen Fenstern schlafen und hatten vom Bett einen fantastischen Blick auf den Adam's Peak. Bad ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Das leckere und reichhaltige Frühstück konnten wir auf dem Balkon einnehmen. Die beiden Jungs, die gemeinsam das Hotel managen sind sehr freundlich! Danke ihr beiden für die schöne Zeit!

Die Deluxe Zimmer sind absolut empfehlenswert und entsprechen genau der Beschreibung sowie den Bildern. Alles war sehr sauber, das Frühstück gut und der Ausblick einfach traumhaft. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar!
Die Wände sind dünn, hat uns jedoch nicht gestört, da unsere Kinder im Nachbarzimmer waren. Das Bad ist innen liegend und ohne Wasserabstreifer.

Das Zimmer, das wir bekommen haben, hatte absolut nichts mit den Bildern auf Booking.com zu tun. Weder das Bad noch das Zimmer selbst waren dort abgebildet. Mehrere Steckdosen haben nicht funktioniert, ein Duschkopf ist ständig heruntergefallen, der andere hat überhaupt nicht funktioniert. Im Bad war starker Schimmel und es hat unangenehm gerochen. Es gab kein richtiges Fenster, sondern nur ein Gitter, durch das Tiere hereinkommen konnten – tatsächlich hatten wir zwei Eidechsen im Zimmer, weil auch die Balkontür nicht richtig schloss. Als wir das dem Mitarbeiter gesagt haben, hat er uns nur verständnislos angeschaut, ist wortlos aus dem Zimmer gegangen und hat nicht einmal die Tür hinter sich geschlossen. Am Ende haben wir zwar etwas Rabatt bekommen, aber der Zustand des Zimmers und die Art des Umgangs mit Gästen waren absolut inakzeptabel.

Des del mateix hotel vam fer una ruta caminant fins a Ella's Rock. Molt xula. En definitiva, un molt bon hotel si vols tranquilitat i gaudir d'Ella i el seu entorn natural. Molt recomanable!!!

Reviewed May 4, 2025Krásný výhled na vodopády. Snídani vám donesou před nebo na pokoj a můžete se při snídani kochat krásným výhledem. Pokud nebudete mít rušné sousedy, je tam krásné ticho.
Bohužel byl trochu problém s teplou vodou. Ráno ani večer se nám ji nepodařilo chytit (odpoledne ano). Musíte požádat obsluhu. Pokud po snídani pokračujete na vlak, nebo máte přesně daný harmonogram, řekněte si o snídani raději tak o 30minut dříve. Také si na recepci řekněte o toaletní papír. My měli půl role na 4 dny, ale určitě pokud bychom žádali, tak bychom ho dostali.
