our stay at will guest homestay was perfect. the room were clean, with a balcony and a great hot & big shower. the view from the balcony is stunning and unique the host were here whenever needed with fresh drinks, driving us around when needed and really helpful throughout the whole stay thank′s again for everything !!

Nous avons logé 3 nuits ici et on a adoré notre séjour dans cet hôtel. Tout était parfait ! La chambre était bien équipée et confortable. Nous avons une super vue sur la vallée d’Ella. Le déjeuner était délicieux et copieux. Nous avons eu des trucs différents chaque jour. Ils ont un service de tuk tuk à disposition, qui est un vrai +. Sans parler de l’accueil, la famille est adorable et hyper serviable. Ils ont également un restaurant juste en face des chambres, nous avons été dîner là un soir et c’était excellent aussi. Je vous le recommande !

L’hôtel est un peu loin du centre donc impossible de se déplacer à pieds, mais cela permet d’avoir de la tranquillité.

Die Aussicht ist der Wahnsinn! Wir haben die Ruhe genossen und uns durch die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber sehr wohlgefühlt. Sie sind immer erreichbar und organisieren zum Beispiel ein Tuktuk.

Ottima posizione nella natura, camera con vista fantastica. Staff molto gentile, ci ha anche organizzato tuk tuk alle 4 del mattino.

Anche se per me è un lato positivo, l'hotel è distante dalla città e quindi serve un auto o tuk tuk per spostarsi.

Las vistas y la cama era muy cómoda.

A beautiful stay with a view on Little Adams Peak and Ella Rock. Chipmunks are all around, some more birds and a eagle might fly by. Breakfast was amazing every morning and their tuktuk servicr cheaper then te ones in town. We've very much enjoyed our stay.

Excelente estancia con muy buenas vistas y un rico desayuno.

El paisaje desde la casa es una pasada. Desayuno muy bueno. Personal encantador. Tuvieron el detalle de colocarnos amenities en el baño.

La limpieza puede mejorar (sobre todo del baño). La habitación está muy pegada a la carretera por lo que se escuchan los coches a primera hora de la mañana.

Very friendly staff. We booked one room, one chalet. Chalet was a bit more cosy and comfortable; room needed some repairs. But good bed shower and nice breakfast in restaurant across street. View are great

Location is next to street to Ella, so you’ll hear cars/tuktuks pass by.

Absolutely gorgeous views in a gorgeous property. Looking over the mountains of Ella, from our balcony alone we could see the train pass, monkeys in the teas, tea fields and waterfalls. Comfortable and pretty room with good bed and bathroom, and well working fan. Breakfast was delicious and handy. Approx a 20 minute walk down the hill into the crazy city of Ella, this stay allowed us to relax and be in the calm whilst visiting the busy. Staff have tuk tuk to help get around and back up the maintain in the dark. Would 100% return back and recommend to everyone

Sometimes the communication on WhatsApp trying to book tuk tuk was delayed / slow so just a tip to book everything in advance (:

Très beau logement, très propre, vue magnifique surtout le lever de soleil. Les propriétaires sont d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Le petit déjeuner est superbe, servi avec attention. Le logement est très proche du centre ville en tuk tuk donc très pratique. Il y a à 2mn à pied un service de lavage de linge superbe,. Nombreux restaurants en ville très sympas. Le logement est très propre et très calme. Vous pouvez récupérer le chemin de fer à pied et vous promener dessus, voir le train passer : superbe. Je recommande à Ella

Tout était parfait

Rustig gelegen en een prachtig uitzicht. Zalig om in de ochtend je koffie of thee mee te drinken! De eigenaars zijn heel vriendelijk, een warm ontvangst en niks is te veel gevraagd.

We hadden een aangenaam verblijf. We hadden misschien alleen gehoopt op kamerservice na onze eerste nacht. De bedden waren niet gedekt toen we terug aankwamen na onze daguitstap + geen nieuwe handdoeken. Dit hadden we misschien expliciet moeten vragen.

Nos encantó quedarnos en este alojamiento, la habitación era muy bonita, cómoda y muy amplia. Además tenía unas vistas increíbles, solo por eso ya merece la pena en nuestra opinión. El personal super amable, muy recomendado

- Die Aussicht auf den Ella Rock und generell auf Ella war wirklich toll, da sich die Unterkunft am Berghang befindet. - Von unserem Zimmer aus ließen sich die Türen so öffnen, dass man den Sonnenaufgang vom Bett aus beobachten konnte. - Schöne Zimmereinrichtung - Sehr nette Gastgeber - Gute Lage für uns, da wir unser eigenes Tuk Tuk hatten (es gab einen privaten Parkplatz), denn die Lage ist relativ ruhigc man war aber trotzdem in 5 Minuten unten in Ella! - Die Gastgeber boten Tuk Tuk Fahrten an, wenn man kein eigenes Tuk Tuk gemietet hat

Bei uns gab es nur kaltes Wasser in der Dusche, ich denke aber, dass dies ein vorübergehendes Problem war! :)

8-10 mins tuk tuk ride up the hills from Ella town but the views of the homestay made up for it. Bed is big and comfy, allowing for a great rest after a long day. Shower can run a bit cold sometimes but it’s welcomed under the piercing sun and heat. No hairdryer in the room but seems to be a common theme in most homestays but there is a standing fan to help. Exceptional breakfast and the staff Dhanu is very helpful in arranging tuk tuks. Homestay also helped to book my bus to Colombo, which has been quite frustrating trying to book on my own. Overall recommend to stay here!

The view is breathtaking! It was really magical to wake up there everyday. The breakfast was very delicious and filling! The room is really big and comfortable. Dhanu was always very kind, polite and helpful.

La vue est incroyable, le petit dej fait maison, le personnel super accueillant et disponible pour nous faire passer un bon moment (ils se sont mis a disposition pour nous emmener en tuktuk à plusieurs endroits et même en voiture pour changer de villes)

We hebben echt 3 top nachten gehad. De familie van wie de homestay is, is echt super lief en regelt alles voor je. De locatie is net ver van Ella centrum om te lopen maar de eigenaren willen je altijd brengen met hun tuktuk. Het uitzicht was ook echt prachtig en het ontbijt was heerlijk. Al met al echt een heerlijk verblijf gehad.

Superbe vue sur les montagnes. Les chambres sont très confortables et bien équipées. Wil et son équipe sont aux petits soins.

Great accommodation with fab views over Ella Rock and Little Adam’s Peak. We booked 2 rooms for our family stay. Beds were comfy, the accommodation was simple but perfect for our one night stay in Ella. The family owners were super helpful with tuk tuks into the town and our transfer down to Yala! Oh and the breakfast was great too! A memorable stay! X

Amazing stay. Best yet in Sri Lanka. Views were incredible! Comfy beds, but mainly they looked after us so well. They sort you out TukTuks wherever you need to go which are cheaper than the ones you find at the side of the roads. They even took us to the monk temple and waited 2 hours for us to take us back. If you need anything you can just message them and they will help. We had a tasty breakfast everyday with a view and no trouble from any monkeys. We really recommend staying here it’s Amazing value for money, we couldn’t believe how amazing the views were.

Au calme sans pour autant être loin de l’agitation de la ville , cet homestay est tenu par des gens , des hommes en fait ( pas vu de femmes ) adorables . Tout d’abord , Will le propriétaire est soucieux de notre confort et donnent à chaque rencontre des indications sur le plan touristique, tout ça en douceur sans intrusion pesante . Il sait se rendre disponible pour nous conduire en tuktuk à la gare par exemple .. Danu est aussi très vigilant et remarque les petits détails ( oublis ou autres ) qui pourraient nous porter préjudice . Toute l’équipe en fait est agréable . La chambre était propre , spacieuse ainsi que la salle de bain . La petite terrasse devant la chambre permet de flâner avec une vue somptueuse sur Little Adam’s peak . En résumé , un rapport qualité / prix inégalable ! Sans oublier que la possibilité de garer la voiture devant la guesthouse est très appréciable . Merci à Will , Danu et la team

Everything!:-) We only stayed one night but we had a wonderful time. The view from our room was amazing and our host was very kind and helpful. They also have a sweet restaurant with very good food and excellent service.:-)

Właściciel jest bardzo miły i widać, że mu zależy. Śniadania są bardzo smaczne. Pokój przygotowany porządnie, czysto i schludnie. Łazienka najlepsza ze wszystkich miejsc, w których byliśmy. Z balkonu można było podziwiać ładne widoki.

Wentylator zamiast klimatyzacji w tej cenie. Trochę hałasował.

Nous avons adoré l’accueil, la famille qui s’occupe de ce petit hôtel est incroyablement gentille ! Il y a un service de Tuktuk à l’hôtel, donc c’est très facile de se rendre dans le centre-ville, la chambre est propre, et le balcon a une vue juste époustouflante ! Merci encore

A szállás nem a központban található, hanem a hegyre vezető úton, de nagyon szép, nyugodt környezetben fekszik. A házigazdák rendkívül kedvesek, segítőkészek és valóban vendégszeretőek voltak. A napfelkeltét pirkadatkor a teraszról nézni egészen egyedi és csodálatos élmény — valódi különlegesség.

A bútorok kissé kopottasak, ráférne némi felújítás. A nyílászárók nem zárnak megfelelően, emiatt a szobában sok volt a szúnyog.

Trois bémols pour nous. La chambre est située en dehors de la ville effectivement mais le fait que le dos de la chambre soit collé à la route amène une nuisance sonore ́non négligeable. Restaurant bof et vraiment très très très long. J’avais réservé avec les petits déjeuner inclus. Nos plans ont changés, j’ai donc prévenu que nous ne prendront pas les petits déjeuners les 2 jours. Non problème, nous les enlèveront. 4 petit déjeuner à 3€ sur 2 jours. Ça fait 24 euros. Eux ils ont enlevé 8 euros. Et ils comprenaient pas pourquoi je n’etaitpas d'accord. Finalement ils ont fait un geste mais 12 euros au lieu 24 euros en moins le compte n’y est pas.

Great views from the rooms. Excellent breakfast. Nice hosts.

We had three rooms for three couple. One couple woke to find the room flooded from a leak in the ceiling. It became apparent the hosts knew about the leak as it has happened before. The roof is unfinished and has corrugated sheets to try and rainwater getting in. They moved the couple to a different room and didn't charge for for that room that night, but our experience was spoilt. The wifi is very poor in the rooms. After complaining, it improved the next day. There was no hot water the first day. We learnt that the water heating is on solar and on wet days, the water is cold unless the hosts turn on the electric back up. They had chosen not to on the first day. After complaining we got hot water the next day. The toiletry was half used in all rooms. Only one cup in all the rooms. Overall, this is a basic place and there seems to be a lack of attention to detail.

La chambre au niveau supérieure était très bien et très propre et surtout la vue sur les montagnes était incroyable ! Personnel adorable également qui vous aide si vous avez le moindre souci. Un peu loin du centre pour ceux qui aiment sortir mais le calme est à ce prix 😉

The owners were extremely helpful and super nice. I usually don't leave reviews for places, but this one was way too good for its price. Their breakfast was also very tasty compared to the other places we stayed at in this price range. 10/10!!!

La vue de la chambre est superbe, le petit déjeuner avec la vue du restaurant est incroyable, c’est très propre et le personnel est accueillant toujours le sourire. Ils proposent des tutuk pour descendre en centre ville à des prix très raisonnable je recommande à 100% j’ai rien à dire de plus.

Will guest house is located a few kilometres out of busy Ella and has lovely views. I slept really well there as it was very quiet at night and the mattress was soft and very comfortable. The hot water worked well in the shower. It cost around 500SLR to get a tuk tuk to or from Ella but was worth it for the peaceful location. The owner was very helpful in trying to get a train ticket to Kandy for me. There is a kettle and small fridge in the room which came in handy. It was a nice place to stay for a couple of nights.

Fantastic hosts who did all they could to help us charge our electric tuktuk. Even got up at 4.00 am to put our Tuk Tuk on charge. Room clean and comfortable. Great private balcony with incredible views. Delicious breakfasts.

El personal era muy amable y respetuoso. El desayuno buenísimo y muy completo. Cada día algo diferente con un smothie de frutas riquisimo. La habitación todo muy limpio y muy completa. Había de todo. Tenía una terraza con unas vistas muy bonitas.

Great accomodation. Big room and bathroom. No AC however there was a fan and it does get cooler at night so it was fine without air con. The best thing about this place is the stunning views. Big comfortable chairs outside to sit and relax and enjoy the view. Breakfast was also very good. Short 5 min tuk into town. Recommend this place

Probably one of the most picturesque place we stayed during out trip to Sri Lanka. Our room had a spectacular view on the hills, the waterfall, train-tracks and Ella town. The room itself was cosy and clean, had a small fridge, water boiler and even complimentary instant coffee and tea. The staff is super friendly and helpful and overall such nice people 🫶🏻 Absolutely loved this place!

The only thing we regret is not staying longer… next time then.

Grandiose Aussicht und extrem herzliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber… .

Die Lage mit dem Ausblick auf die Landschaft (Little Adamˋs Peak und Ella Rock) sind unfassbar schön. Die Gastgeber sind zuvorkommend und geben sich sehr viel Mühe. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und liebevoll zubereitet. TukTuk und Wäscheservice wird zuverlässig arrangiert.

Schade, dass man das Fenster im Bad nicht öffnen kann, wodurch es manchmal im Bad etwas unangenehm durch Feuchtigkeit riecht.

Via vrienden deze homestay aanbevolen gekregeb. Het uitzicht was echt fantastisch. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Helpen echt met alles, zelfs zonder wij het vroegen.

Nadeel zou kunnen zijn dat er geen airco is (staat wel duidelijk aangegeven in de beschrijving), maar voor ons zeker geen probleem.

Non lasciatevi ingannare dalla facciata bordo strada abbastanza anonima, il posto è bellissimo!
