Location. View of Mount Kinabalu. Close to Sayap Ayam Pak ali. But during our trip the traffic jam was really terrible. We have to used internal/kampung road which is really rough and scary.

I like the view very much and the room is spacious💚

You should provide table incase the guest need to do some work using laptop, writing, eating comfortably.

The balcony attached to the room was nice with good views. When there is no rain, the little patio really has amazing views.

The smell in the rooms / bed. The beds were very hard and falling apart. You can hear the neighbors quite well.

Der Balkon und der Ausblick vom Zimmer waren aussergewöhnlich schön. Das Essen im Restaurant war gut: Preis-Leistung angemessen. Allerdings waren die Bedienungen leider unfreundlich und nicht aufmerksam, obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste waren.

Es war sehr hellhörig, man hat die Nachbarn gehört wie sie die Stühle oder Möbel gerückt haben. Die Matratze war komplett durchgelegen. Es war fast unmöglich zu schlafen. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers ist sehr spartanisch. Das Bad stand permanent unter Wasser, da die Fliessen nicht so gelegt wurden, dass das Wasser nach dem Duschen abfliessen kann. Wann immer man ins Bad ging, hatte man immer nasse Füsse. Die Lage des JR Stay ist sehr weit weg. Man muss entweder ein eigenes Auto haben, oder auf ein Taxi zurückgreifen, Grab oder Maxim gibt es nicht. Das Taxi kostet doppelt so viel. Leider hatten wir zudem Schwierigkeiten mit dem bestellten Taxi an unserem Abreisetag und wir waren angewiesen auf die Uhrzeit, weil wir einen Bus in Ranau erreichen mussten. Die Mitarbeiter haben zum Glück einen anderen Fahrer organisiert. Wir hatten somit eine Verspätung von einer Viertelstunde. Overall: Die Unterkunft ist nicht teuer aber ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten Unterkünfte mit ca demselben Preis und die waren ok.

Overall everything is nice and I'm having a great & peaceful stay. I would love to stay here again in the future.

Not bad, still acceptable for me. But the cleanliness can be improved especially the floor and the towels. Overalls, everything is great.

Wonderful experience staying here. The room was clean and cozy, and the reception service was outstanding. The staff were very welcoming and made everything easy.

Unfortunately there is no hairdryer included at the room as hotel@homestay does….hopefully they will provide it in future ya….

Comfortable, nice parking area,and good view.

Didn't provide a place for gathering if a big number of people are staying there.

1. Cheap and affordable yet magnificent view. 2. big parking space 3. got a restaurant nearby 4. very nice view and excellent weather 5. they provide park and place for kids to enjoy the mount kinabalu view. we got rainbow and magnificent mt.kinabalu view that day. 6. 7 minutes from kundasang town.

Part that can be improve : 1. Drainage system. we can smell the "longkang" smell from the toilet. maybe can come up with another solution. 2. Not too clean duvet. they provide us duvet but it is not perfectly clean. but still can manage it. maybe the clean water problem. 3. Old Furniture. maybe can switch to new yet cheap furniture.

Some room has very nice view, some rooms the view was blocked, it might be better to ask to see different rooms. Very beautiful sunrise view from the balcony. Staff were easy going. Has restaurant on site.

The cleanliness and facilities could be improved. The light was white , would be nice to have small light.

Location is amazing here and good to have 24 hour reception.

The bathroom is a disgrace. No hot water and completely floods as the whole room has one drainage point that isn't at the lowest point. Means once someone has had a shower you can't use the toilet or hand basin without getting wet feet.

Lack of basic facilities in the room to include towels and toiletries. Moreover the bedding is below par. One finds it difficult to sleep.

Great location and very clean place

Bit far from town area

Very nice location with great views and nicely maintained garden. Plenty of parking and a good restaurant on site as you cannot easily walk to other places. Provided cockroach spray promptly when that was needed. Good air con and things like a kettle which are important for sterilising water bottles. The room was pretty clean compared to what I found elsewhere in Sabah. They provided new slippers for guests which was good.

Finding a cockroach wasn't great but the hotel did provide spray. Shower was only luke warm until we worked out you have to lower the water pressure to get it warmer. There was a pair of pretty dirty and stained flip flops in the bathroom, which reception suggested were for us to use in there. Neither of us was going to wear those.

Climax or our trip into the mountains. Balcony view to make one skip a heartbeat. The accentuated landscape is breathtaking, cannot find anywhere else.

No breakfast facilities in the hotel and receptionist is showing bad attitude. Therefore, I will not recommended this hotel to others.

First impression is last impression but receptionist needs to improve her behaviour.

everything. The experiences. Especially next door is empty that time. So more privacy. They also have table and chairs outside so you can hangout. Parking is quite spacious. I think , booking for family days is okay here.
