Die Atmosphäre im ehemaligen Franziskanerkloster. Die Küche, insbesondere das Tavolata mit Hauptgang war hervorragend und ist sehr zu empfehlen. Und die begleitete Tour durch den Zier- und Biogarten

Magnifique endroit dans cet ancien Monastère restauré avec beaucoup de goût et une très belle architecture. Beaucoup de jolis détails. Excellent petit-déjeuner et repas du soir avec des produits frais régionaux ou du jardin . Belle et inoubliable expérience. Personnel est disponible, agréable et accueillant. J'y retournerai volontiers.

Isolation.

Superlage direkt im Dorf am Stanserhorn. Ruhig gelegen. Das Restaurant war sehr gut, und die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit.

Trotz vorheriger Reservierung und zusage war es nicht möglich einen Tisch für 2 Personen auf der aussen Terrasse zu bekommen sondern nur im Innenhof. Dies hat die Freude ein wenig geschmälert.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel qui est un ancien monastère. Nous avons été super bien accueillis. Nous avons aussi pu laisser Nos vélos à l'abri. Tout était parfait. Je recommande vivement cet établissement.

Schönes geräumiges Zimmer mit geschmackvoller Einrichtung. Die Speisekarte ist nicht überladen und die Gerichte sind sehr lecker.

Frühstück sehr gut!

Nachts Lärm durch schlenzende laute Korridortüre und vor dem Parkplatz beim Hotel fand eine Techno Party bis in die frühen Morgenstunden statt! Gleichzeitig war ein Musikfestival im Dorf und diese Party war wohl die Attraktion für die Jungen.

Sehr spezielle Location (ehemaliges Kloster), Innenarchitektur, Klostergarten, grossräumiges Zimmer, Frühstücksbuffet war grandios, Moderne trifft Geschichte

Der Preis ist ziemlich happig.

War alles gut soweit. Sogar Spinat am Rührei, welches frisch für uns gemacht wurde. Nachdem alle im Zimmer waren und geschlafen haben war es ruhig. Super auf meine Anfrage reagiert und uns ein Taxi vorab bestellt. Wir hatten kurzfristig entschieden mit dem Zug zu kommen, was gut war, denn der Parkplatz vom Hotel war voll

Ich war im Dezember bereits dort in einem fast leeren Haus, daher unterschätzt wie laut die Türen zum Treppenhaus zu fallen können. Rührei gerne etwas trockener, wobei das Geschmacksache ist.

ich habe nirgends einen Aufenthaltsraum gefunden, wo man sich gemütlich hinsetzen könnte - Check-out oder am Abend in gemütlicher Runde.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel and were impressed from start to finish. The service was warm and attentive, the atmosphere was relaxed, and everything felt very well cared for. A special highlight was the dinner — the tavolata experience was phenomenal. The food was excellent, beautifully prepared, and perfect for sharing, which made the whole evening feel both special and memorable. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel.

Ruhige Lage. Wir konnten früher ins Zimmer. War sehr nett vom Hotel.

Very interesting building. Rooms lovely and warm. Staff very helpful - especially the restaurant staff translating the menu for us.

Old monastery converted in historic hotel, with simple, but comfortable rooms, with lots of character. The food is excellent, staff are very attentive and nice. Great location, even for winter sports.

Frühstück war an beiden Tagen sehr gut. Sonntags nochmal üppiger. Rührei usw. werden frisch zubereitet, individuell für den Gast. Das war aus frischem Ei und wie ich es mag, eher trocken wie schlonzig. Auswahl beim Frühstück super und ich mag es, wenn der Kaffee/Tee auch serviert wird. Abendessen am Samstag so gut, dass es wirklich schade war, dass ich Sonntag nicht wieder im Hotel Abendessen konnte. Sehr aufmerksames Servicepersonal. Welches ruhig, aufmerksam und routiniert arbeitet. Ganz liebe Kollegen an der Rezeption. Denk ich komme mal wieder und wenn es nächstes Jahr zum Skispringen in Engelberg ist. Da das Zugticket in der Eintrittskarte drin war, war das Hotel von Engelberg sehr gut zu erreichen und in Stans war es Abends super ruhig. Keine 10 Minuten bei meinem Schritttempo an den Bahnhof.

Kleinigkeiten, z.B. waren im Krug für Wasser auf dem Zimmer dunkle Ablagerungen, die wie Sprenkel im Glas wirkten. Ecke vom Silikon in der Dusche sollte mal wieder ausgetauscht werden. Hab ich beides bei der Abreise angemerkt und wurde auch notiert! Ich verstehe, dass kein Fernseher auf dem Zimmer zur Philosophie des Hauses gehört. Lesezimmer ist dafür ne gute Idee, das war nett eingerichtet. Wäre schön gewesen, wenn es noch etwas mehr auch vielleicht auch Romane usw. angeboten werden würden. Sicher werden das noch mehr Bücher mit der Zeit.

Mir gefällt das Konzept, der Ort, die Aesthetik in und ums Haus. Einfach ein guter Ort für privaten und auch als Seminarort.

Das Frühstück ist hervorragend.

Le charme de l'endroit: un ancien monastère très bien rénové en hôtel-restaurant. Point fort: le cadre a gardé son authenticité. Au niveau qualité de la nourriture, l'endroit n'a pas usurpé son nom. On aura le plaisir d'y déguster des spécialités de la région, issues de producteurs locaux. En outre, les chambres sont spatieuses et propres. Grand parking gratuit devant la réception. Cependant, tout ce qui est charmant et de qualité a son prix. Au final, le rapport qualité-prix reste quand même correct.

Rien, tout s'est passé selon le plan.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast and dinner

Tout le charme de cet Ancien monastère, très belle chambre spacieuse, déco sobre, très propre. Le restaurant est vraiment excellent, le petit-déjeuner également avec des produits de qualité. Situation au calme, sur les hauts de Stans, dont le centre est atteignable en moins de 10 minutes à pied. Nous avons pu laisser nos vélos dans un local à l’intérieur du bâtiment.

Nous étions inquiets du séminaire qui se déroulait dès le matin mais nous n’avons absolument pas été dérangés. Donc pas de problème.

Alles war ausgezeichnet in dieser Unterkunft. Die Regionalität der Produkte, das sehr freundliche Personal und die generelle Ausstattung haben mir exzellent gefallen. Der Aufenthalt bleibt unvergesslich.

I loved the place of stay and managed with food. Also, since I am a pure vegetarian, on every items which I have, require to ask and eat.

Food could had been better with some vegetarian sandwitches without eggs and vegetables and seasonal fruits.

Charming place with a soul. Staff is very friendly. Restaurant is great. Rooms are very basic, but clean and cozy – with a bonus of great views. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Isolation is not great, you hear people walk in the hallway at night. Pillows are very thin (and you only get one). Would be nice to have more fresh vegetables and meats at breakfast.

Rooms are not soundproof

Superb tavolata at dinner - a succession of innovative, very tasty small dishes. Lovely atmosphere in this simply converted monastery. Friendly staff.

Room was spacious and elegant, but minimally furnished - just one hard chair, and a stool. As so many have commented, soundproofing was poor. Convenient for Stans station on the Engelberg line, but not much going on this peaceful little town. Rather overpriced, even by Swiss standards.

Very stylish rooms. Wonderful breakfast on Sunday as well as amazing diner experience with local and organic products. Very warm-hearted personnel

Breakfasts were just right, great location!

Was a bit confused on where to check in, and wasn't clear on where our rooms were. Not a huge deal, but an opty to be better.

The owner was kind and hospitable. I had difficulty finding the hotel and he literally walked to where I was so that I could get there.

It's pretty Spartan. One pillow for a queen size bed. I stayed on a very warm night and there was no AC. To cool the room I had to open all the windows, directly above the restaurant, so all that noise kept me awake.

Very special hotel with a lot of character. Beautiful building and view. Great staff

It could be helpful to have a fan in the rooms since there isn’t AC

Peter and his staff were absolutely outstanding. The size of the room and the bed were extremely comfortable. Accommodations The food was fabulous. The breakfast was outstanding. The surface was very personal and professional.
