The Z Hotel Tottenham Court Road

Please be careful and consider this before booking! All rooms in this hotel are only 6 square meters—excluding the 2-square-meter bathroom separated by a glass door. As soon as you open the door and take a single step, you are already at the bed. My room didn't even have a window. If you suffer from claustrophobia or can't handle windowless, airless spaces, be very careful! On the positive side, it is located right in central Soho, and the reception staff is very pleasant.

On my floor, the WiFi would drop out a lot constantly and I couldn’t get a phone signal to make up for that. Also, people were coming and going til quite late, which is understandable given the location, but opening the door to the corridor outside the rooms seemed to make every room door whistle as air moves through the space. It was quite bizarre!

I was scared for the room size because everyone complained in the reviews but my room was more than comfortable for 1. The AC worked amazing and was the right move when on a heat wave

The internet was spotty, not suitable for zoom calls if you are trying to have those while you visit.

Eu gostei de tudo mas o quarto se fosse para duas pessoas ou uma pessoa muito grande seria demasiadamente pequeno. Para alem disso o elevador nao chegava ao andar do meu quarto, havendo portanto escadas. De novo isso nao foi um problema mas deveria ser claro quando reservei.

A little gem in the heart of London. Only had one night but it was clean, comfortable and excellent location. Room was small and compact but had everything you needed. Check out was at at a good time so no early morning rush! Would definitely stay again.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location.

The room I booked was completely different from the room we were given. Our room was changed twice, and we were eventually directed to a room in a completely different building. It was on the 7th floor, and there was no elevator. The towels also smelled bad. Honestly, anyone with common sense would not stay at this hotel. I strongly advise against staying here. Deceiving people is not a nice thing to do.

Good value for money for London, and a great relatively quiet location in otherwise bustling Soho. 5 minutes walking distance to the Dean Street entrance for Tottenham Court Road Elizabeth Line station.

In my room there were no bars or hooks for towels in the bathroom.

The hotel was excellent. We were welcomed into the hotel and the early access charge was waived and we went straight to our room. The lift was good. The room was excellent. The bed up against the wall was a bit awkward, but we knew about it before we arrived. I missed a chair in the room. Maybe a fold up seat on the wall at the end of the bed might be useful. The shower room worked well for us. And the tea/coffee/hairdryer great to be able to use. We did not go to the first floor for food simply because we chose to spend some money in the local eateries. The location was perfect for us as we enjoyed walking to the theatre, having a drink after and walking round the corner, without having to get on the tube.

The staff was the best. Really helpful. All of them. The location was good as well.

the room was really small even for one person. If two people stood up side by side you do not have any place to move. Also the room was vibrating due to the machines operating. Also the elevator was not going up to my room so had to carry luggages up via stairs

Booked last minute after a recommendation from a friend and now I want to recommend it in turn. I had a great experience at the Z Hotel! Very small but comfy and peaceful rooms. Great shower with an antislip floor and lovely shower gel! As a member you get a free glass of wine and cheese plate every night and the server who worked nights, Pemba, was really nice and helpful! I am definitely coming back!

Sijainti hyvä lentokentältä (LHR) tullessa. Tottenham Court Roadin asemalta (Elizabeth line) vajaan 10 minuutin kävelymatka. Lähistöllä paljon ravintoloita ja kauppoja. Vieressä M&S, josta oli helppo käydä hakemassa evästä. Hotellilla oli myös kahvila, josta olisi saanut halutessaan syötävää. Hinta Lontoon hinnoilla kohtuullinen. Huone pieni, mutta (lähes) kaikki tarvittava kuitenkin löytyi (jääkaappi olisi ollut iso plus). Tämä oli toinen kerta tässä hotellissa.

Siisteys olisi voinut olla paremmalla tasolla. Suihkun lattiakaivossa iso kasa hiuksia. Huoneen lukon kanssa alussa pieniä ongelmia, mutta henkilökunta pahoitteli asiaa kovasti ja myös lukko saatiin kuntoon nopeasti. Äänieristys hieman heikko. Äänet käytävältä kuuluivat todella hyvin huoneeseen, samoin suihkun ja WC:n vetämisen äänet. Toisaalta yöllä oli kyllä rauhallista ja edellämainitut asiat eivät häirinneet yöunia.

The location was brilliant, everything is clean and tidy and the shower was lovely

The bed was very uncomfortable, the pillows had feathers in them and I am allergic, the room was tiny, expected but not THAT small!! I’m an older gentleman who isn’t great with tech so a little note on how to work the blinds would have been lovely!

The room is small but so cleverly designed to include all you need for a short stay. It was clean and well equipped for the price. Even the AC was easy to use (frequently not the case in hotels!) and the shower pressure good. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The location couldn't have been any better - Oxford, Regent and Carnaby Street are on the doorstep.

The mattress is relatively thin so noit the most comfortable.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Z Hotel Tottenham Court Road and would definitely stay here again! I stayed here with my daughter last week, and it was an excellent choice. The location is fantastic — right in the heart of Soho and so convenient for exploring central London. Everything was within easy reach, which made our stay so much more enjoyable. The hotel was exceptionally clean, both the room and the common areas. Our bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, and the air conditioning was excellent. We also loved the electric blinds — such a nice touch! What really made our stay special, though, was the staff. Every single person we met was friendly, welcoming, attentive and always smiling — from reception and the bar to the wonderful cleaning staff. They created such a warm and pleasant atmosphere that we genuinely felt at home. We especially loved the great coffee and the delicious hot chocolate for my daughter — such a lovely touch! Overall, a fantastic hotel in an unbeatable location, with wonderful staff and a lovely atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

L'emplacement est idéal, dans le West End, près des Theâtres , de Carnaby Street, Oxford Street,... La chambre était disponible à partir de 15h, mais comme nous étions arrivés trop tôt, nous avons pu laisser nos bagages et ils ont été apportés en chambre ! Très bon service. Chambre très calme avec climatisation, bouilloire électrique et grand télé...

La chambre était très petite, mais en plein centre de Londres, on peut comprendre... C'est un détail quand on sait qu'on y va que pour dormir...

Pros: 1. Hotel is in a great location, a short walk from the Oxford Circus tube station or Tottenham Ct Road train station. There are great restaurants and pubs close by. 2. Staff is friendly and helpful. 3. Beds are very comfortable, and the hotel is very quiet. 4. A/C is wonderful. Cons: 1. Z wi-fi is terrible; you have to sign in over and over during a short period of time. It should work consistently as soon as you walk in the door, and not sign out until you leave the premises. In reality, you have to sign in again and again while in your room. 2. Lighting in the small bathroom is dim and shadowy. It would be nice if lighted make-up mirrors could be attached to the wall. 3. It is style at its most basic...there are no drawers, no closet and no towel racks. There were 3 hooks on the wall at the back of the door, so you could possible hang your towel there, but then you have no place to put clothes on hangers. 4. No washcloths. The showers are adequate, but it would be appreciated to have a way to scrub off the London dust and grime. 5. Unless you've stayed at a Z hotel before, and are now a return "member", nothing is free, except water to drink. I understand it's a business, but is it really necessary to charge ~$5USD for a cup of tea or coffee in the morning? 6. Lastly, it is not on Tottenham Ct Rd., and finding Poland St, where it is located, is tough if you're out wandering London without wi-fi.

Amazing location. I visited for a theatre break for my daughters birthday and on arrival in the room was greeted with a birthday card, ballon’s, 2 swans made from towels and rose petals. It was so thoughtful! The staff were helpful throughout our stay. The air conditioning was a lifesaver too.

We had a very small windowless room but upon inspection of my booking that’s what I had booked so it was my error. Nevertheless it was comfortable, clean and well equipped with everything we needed for 1 night. Not the kind of room that you’d relax or spend time in but with so much to do in the immediate area you won’t need to be in your room apart from sleeping.

Japonya tokyoda apa otelinde kalmış bir çift olarak söylüyoruz, hayatımızda daha küçük ve konforsuz bir odada kalmadık. Kapsül otel bile yanında kral dairesi kalır. Aynı zamanda temiz de değildi. Odanın penceresi yoktu. Tek havalandırma klima aracılığıyla yapılabiliyordu. Ondan da ağır rutubet kokusu geliyordu. Tek iyi yanı konumunun mükemmel olması.

It was the perfect location for where we needed to be in London- a 2 minute walk to The Ivy for dinner, and a 5 minute walk to the Soho Theatre.

The room was very small!! I knew it would be on the petite size, and to be honest for a 1 night city break it totally served its purpose….however don’t bring your cat to swing!!!

It was quite hot and although I found where to change the temperature, it didn’t seem to have much effect.

I was there for one night to see a show. The location was superb, very central. The room was quiet and compact with everything I needed. It was clean. Breakfast had a good selection. The luggage storage meant I could fit in a day's sightseeing.

Die Lage war ausgezeichnet. Von Stansted super erreichbar. Am Rande von Soho. Klima war auch vorhanden.

Es war wirklich sehr klein das Zimmer. Ein großer Koffer wäre ein Problem gewesen. Toilette war nur durch eine Glastür getrennt. Da war alles zu hören. Frühstück war in Ordnung hätte aber etwas umfangreicher sein können.
