Le meilleur logement fait au Sri Lanka. Accueil très chaleureux et convivial. Une chambre très bien. Bonne localisation. Des repas fait maison étant délicieux. Mais surtout, des hôtes incroyables, je n’ai rarement vu des personnes aussi gentilles et serviables qu’eux. Ils nous ont fait nous sentir chez nous, étaient toujours de bons conseils. Nous y retournerons sans aucune hésitation !!

This stay was a highlight of my trip. Did stages 12 and 13 of Pekoe trail from Haputale and resting here after a days walking was a delight. The hospitality could not have been better- they offered incredibly useful advice about the routes, organised reliable early morning tuktuks and were happy to make a lovely breakfast at any time of the morning! They even rearranged things to enable me to extend for a night in the same room! Location was perfect, very close to station and trails, and views from the room spectacular.

It’s a safe and comfortable place for couples and families with children. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and we felt comfortable during our stay. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay, especially if you’re traveling with family.

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits en famille, nous nous sommes très vite sentis comme chez nous ! La gentillesse des gérants et de leur fille, la chambre supérieure qui est vraiment agréable avec sa terrasse, et la vue magnifique !

Ho apprezzato molto la vista sulle colline, la colazione è buona e viene servita su di un tavolino fuori dalla camera con vista panoramica. Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile.

La struttura è un po' datata, ci vorrebbe un po' di manutenzione.

Nos hotes sont merveilleux et tres souriants Ils nous aident pour repondre a toutes nos questions. La femme (Tonu) parle un peu francais et cuisine divinement bien. Les lits sont tres confortables

La struttura si trova lungo la strada principale di Haputale, in una posizione strategica che rende gli spostamenti semplici e comodi, anche per muoversi in autonomia nelle ore serali. Lo staff è solare, disponibile e molto accogliente. La colazione è ottima e servita all'orario concordato. L'ampia terrazza panoramica è il luogo ideale per rilassarsi e godersi uno splendido tramonto. La camera era pulita, confortevole e dotata di tutto il necessario per un piacevole soggiorno. Un'ottima base per visitare i principali punti di interesse della zona illustrati benissimo dal titolare.

We had a wonderful stay at Mist Holiday Bungalow in Haputale while hiking Pekoe Trail Stage 12. After a long day on the trail, this guesthouse was the perfect place to relax and recover. The hospitality and service were exceptional from the moment we arrived. The hosts were incredibly warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel completely at home and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The room was clean, cozy, and offered beautiful views of the surrounding hills and misty scenery that Haputale is famous for. The peaceful atmosphere made it an ideal stop for hikers and travelers looking to unwind. The food was fresh and delicious, and the overall experience felt very personal and welcoming. We highly recommend Mist Holiday Bungalow to anyone doing the Pekoe Trail or visiting Haputale. Excellent service, great hospitality, and a memorable stay!

Quiet dirty. The bed felt dirty, the floor was dirty, hairs and old soap. There was many mosquitoes and no net, no spray no fan.. we couldn’t sleep at all cause of the terrible mosquitoes and to top it up, there was a huge karaoke happening in the floor below us…

Acceuil adorable par le propriétaire dont la femme parle un peu français, la vue est fantastique depuis la chambre, ils nous ont offert plusieurs pot de thé et se sont montrés très sympas avec notre fils de 5 ans.une belle adresse. Si vous passez par là n'hésitez a aller manger chez ali "crispy restaurant" le patron est extraordinaire expérience typiquement locale!

Le petit déjeuner pourrait être un peu mieux on nous a posé 1 barquette de beurre, 1pot de confiture, un paquet de pain de mie dans son emballage, 2 oeufs avec saucisse et des bananes , les autres établissements font bcp mieux au même prix, après c'est un détail laaaargement compensé par la gentillesse du propriétaire. Massage pas ouf mais c'est une question de point de vue pour moi pas assez fort.

It was noisy in the night and in the morning as well. Bathroom fanlight was broken. Bad smell on the bedsheets. We requested 3 beds and they gave us only 2 beds. We book the family room , but they gave us a different room not the family room. They told the family room will be expensive. No food was available to buy. No water bottles were available in the room, No value for money

Geräuschkulisse: Fahrzeuge von der Straße waren dauerhaft zu hören, auch nachts. Internet: sehr langsam, teils komplett ausgefallen. Frühstück: in 2 Wochen Sri Lanka echt das Liebloseste (ungetoastetes Brot, Margarine, Marmelade, 1 kaltes Spiegelei). Moskitos im Zimmer und kein Netz. Fleckiges Handtuch.

Staying at the Mist Holiday Bungalow felt like a home away from home. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. The food was incredible and very affordable. Really good value for money

The hotel is in an amazing location, short walk from the station and town and a stunning view off the hillside. It is literally hanging off. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Overall we had a nice stay and would recommend. It is fair for the price.

However the room and bathroom could definitely be a lot cleaner. It was also a bit tired and could definitely do with a freshen up. It was also very misty and damp in Haputale which couldn’t be helped due to the weather, but something to bear in mind. If it was cleaner it would be 10/10 as the facilities do match the price. But it wasn’t. We still enjoyed our stay and the view was amazing.

This guesthouse is located within the city centre and opposite the railway station. There are a number of eateries and shops within walking distance to cater to your needs. In fact, the most convenient way to have breakfast, lunch or dinner is right at the restaurant within the guesthouse. It has affordable prices, freshly prepared good food and drinks as well as sitting areas on the balcony and terrace. We enjoyed a warm welcome and a quick check-in. The complementary tea was great to warn us up during the grey and wet weather. The family was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well maintained. Hot water was provided instantly and safely.

The only negative aspect is the noise from the main road. But luckily, the traffic gets much lesser after 9 pm. Google Maps might be misleading you. The turnoff is 100 m behind the location point at the big signs "Buona Vista" and "Assembly of God Church".

thank you very much for a wonderful stay, which was one of the best in Sri Lanka. we had a spacious room with a living room and a terrace with the best view. there are lots of hiking trips to tea plantations and a tea factory within walking distance. Ella is accessible by train but Haputale is a much quieter, more picturesque place. The food was absolutely great and we were treated like part of the family the whole stay, our children wanted to stay the whole holiday 🙂 thank you very much and hopefully we will come back someday.

A very comfortable family-run B&B. While initially found it a bit hard to locate, we later realized it is situated in a very accessible location just minutes from town center. Absolutely love the view from the place!

Superbe séjour au sein de cette belle famille. Tout le monde est adorable et attentionné. Le lieu est très agréable avec une vue sympa et plusieurs endroits où se détendre. La nourriture est très bonne. J'ai adoré mon séjour !

Heel lieve mensen, als je daar komt logeren maak je echt deel uit van de familie. Uitzicht is prachtig als de mist nog niet is opgekomen:) eten is lekker, kortom alles is top!

The room is exactly as in photos, they have a lovely terrace with very very good view, place is in city center but a little bit hidden from main road. It is family owned place and we god all the good service and attention you may expect. Owner have lots of good information and tips about what to visiti arround and he explained about possibilities to use public transport to get to key spots which google didn't even know about. Overall, I recommend this place!

Sometimes you can hear cars from the main road but this is normal if you want to stay close to city center.

Emplacement idéal Les hôtes sont tellement gentils. Les meilleurs hôtes de notre séjour au Sri Lanka jusqu'à présent et nous touchons la fin de notre séjour. La nourriture du dîner est délicieuse, merci à Dima pour sa cuisine (Mention spéciale pour le jus de Mangue !!) La vue est époustouflante, le tarif très abordable et la literie confortable. Nous avons même partagé une part de gâteau avec le gérant et sa famille pour son anniversaire. Il saura vous conseiller sur les activités à faire dans la région. Le bâtiment est assez ancien mais donne un charme au séjour. Il y a de nombreuses terrasses en hauteur pour admirer la vue sur la vallée Vous avez également la possibilité de faire un massage par des thérapeutes (attention c’est plus sport que relaxant, donc ça dépend de vos goûts !)

Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré car il est relativement simple (pain confiture, oeuf)

Super guest house tenu par une famille adorable. Ils nous ont conseillés pour nos excursions et nos transports privilégiant toujours les moyens économiques. La vue sur les plantations de thé et les montagnes est magnifique. Vous êtes proche de la gare si vous voulez prendre le train pour Ella ou les bus. Des randonnées sont accessibles depuis l'hébergement. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. Nous avons également pris tous nos repas du soir là bas. Les propriétaires nous ont également préparés des sandwichs quand nous partions à la journée. Nous avons également testé les massages qui sont proposés en fin de journée. C'était incroyable. Nous recommandons cet établissement.

L'humidité dans les chambres mais c'est la région qui veut ça. Difficile de faire autrement je pense

L emplacement est superbe avec la terrasse sur la vallée et les champs de thé. Les hôtes sont au petit soin avec chacun et peuvent vous donner des conseils pour decouvrir la ville et les alentours ainsi que sur les bus et le train. .Beaucoup de plats proposés pour le dîner et la cuisinière les adapte à vos souhaits. Le petit déjeuner est soit occidental soit sri lankais. Chambre confortable et propre avec eau chaude dans la douche. Une grande pièce très chaleureuse permet de se poser entre 2 balades . La propriétaire parle bien le français.

The owners were so nice and had great and cheap food! The lady whos cooking is so sweet. Also they can fulfil you any wish like takeaway breakfast (western or sri lankan) for Sunset and any tour you d wish to do. Also you can rent a scooter there

The room had a beautiful view over the hills. The staff was incredibly helpful and arranged for me the hiking to Kirigalpotta and recommended other hikes to do locally. The food was delicious. I also booked a massage and the massage therapist was very good. I highly recommend to stay at this place!

Faisant le Pekoe Trail, nous avions besoin d'une pause. Notre séjour dans l'hôtel fut tellement agréable que nous sommes restés plus longtemps. Nous avons découvert une équipe d'une incroyable gentillesse, simplicité, authenticité. Beaucoup de joie, de rires, de complicité entre eux. On se sentait comme dans une maison de vacances. Nous avons pu aussi profiter du restaurant, du thé, de massages ayurvédiques. Et To Nu parle français en plus. Des moments qui resteront en nous.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour dans cette guesthouse familiale. L accueil était très chaleureux, madame parle français et nous a donné de bons conseils pour nos visites des alentours. Nous avons pris un cours de cuisine srilankaise extra avec Dina . Nous avons aussi pris tous nos repas ici car c était très bon et la vue de la salle restaurant est superbe. La guesthouse est tres bien située: proche du centre-ville et de la gare.

Personnel charmant et extrêmement accueillant ! Beaucoup d’espaces communs pour se poser, ce qui est très appréciable. Possibilité de faire un massage sur place. Le dîner et le petit-déjeuner sont excellents. Le gérant peut aider à organiser un trajet en tuktuk à un bon prix pour le Lipton’s Seat notamment !

Certaines chambres ne sont pas très grandes. Étrangement, notre salle de bain n’avait pas de plafond et donnait directement sur le séjour de la maison où il y a la réception. On doit avouer que c’était un peu gênant de savoir que tout le monde dans la salle commune entend quand on va aux toilettes …

L'accueil de toute la famille. On se sent comme à la maison. Les supers conseils de Piyal qui fait tout pour que vous passiez un magnifique moment. Le diner excellent et le petit déjeuner face à la vue sublime sur les montagnes. Massage proposé sur place très bien à un prix raisonnable. Je ne me lasse pas de cette vue. Merci beaucoup pour votre gentillesse et votre hospitalité

La chambre à proximité de la réception est un peu bruyante. J'avais mes bull quies, donc j'ai malgré tout très bien dormi. Petit déjeuner pourrait être un peu plus garni en comparaison à ce qui se fait ailleurs.

Hôtes aux petits soins, très bons dîners et petits déjeuners. On peut parler français !Le gérant donne de bons conseils et peut trouver des chauffeurs pour Horton Plains ou Lipton Seat par exemple, très belle vue sur les montagnes lorsqu'il n'y a pas de brume.

Gospodarz bardzo sympatyczny i pomocny. Wyraźnie zależy mu na dobrym samopoczuciu gości. Zorganizowal nam w dobrej cenie transport do Parku Horton Plains i na dalszą naszą drogę na poludnie wyspy. Bardzo dobre posilki. Można zamówić niedrogo lunch i kolację. Nasza wybredna w jedzeniu córka zajadała się zupą jarzynową. Byliśmy dwie noce i czuliśmy się zaopiekowani. Nazwa hotelu adekwatna. Wieczorem hotel spowija mgła ale rano fantastyczne widoki.

Majitelé velmi vstřícní a ochotní se vším poradit. Na ubytování vám uvaří a dokonce si můžete zaplatit ayurvédskou masáž, která byla slvělá. Přátelská atmosféra.

De locatie is echt top: op wandelafstand van het centrum en op amper tien minuten stappen van het treinstation. Van hieruit namen wij de trein naar Ohiya voor de Devil’s Staircase wandeling. We voelden ons hier meteen thuis dankzij de warme familie die de accommodatie uitbaat. We speelden zelfs spelletjes met hun dochtertje Cherry, wat ons verblijf extra bijzonder maakte. Het uitzicht is prachtig, met zicht op de vele laagjes bergen en mooie zonsondergangen. We hebben zelfs een extra dag bijgeboekt!

La gentillesse et les conseils avisés de cette charmante famille, la terrasse avec la vue de dingue (quand il fait beau !), la salade de fruits, la langue française, le fait que le proprio adapte ses conseils sans chercher à nous vendre un beau taxi alors que nous voyageons en bus ! Bref on les remercie beaucoup pour tous leurs conseils de visite et de trajet et pour avoir gentiment proposé de nous sécher nos affaires trempées suite à notre randonnée dans les plantations de thés sous un pluie incessante ! On a aussi fait un massage dans leur salle de massage toute vitrée avec une vue incroyable sur le coucher de soleil pour un prix très attractif !

Il faudrait davantage de portes manteau dans la chambre et salle de bain. Et ça serait TOP d'avoir une petite étagère pour la trousse de toilettes dans la salle de bain. S'il fait mauvais temps, l'espace des repas n'est pas fermé, nous avons donc eu un peu froid !

Es el mejor alojamiento que he estado en Sri Lanka, habitación privada espectacular con vistas a la montaña, muy cerquita del centro del pueblo, y unos anfitriones increíbles, sobre todo la cocinera te va a preparar el mejor rice & curry que he probado! Y todo esto por muy buen precio.

El personal. De los mejores servicios en un mes en la isla. Lugar tranquilo desde donde conocer el mundo de los monocultivos de té, con sus luces y sus sombras. Y desde donde organizar los días siguientes, porque Pryal te ayudará con su conocimiento de la isla y con su gran empatía. Un lugar al que uno quiere volver en algún momento la vida. La comida es, más o menos lo que se encuentra normalmente, pero rica, abundante y muy económica, de forma que no debes andar dando vueltas por ahí para buscar un sitio donde comer. Un lugar especial y cálido en lo humano.

Les hôtes sont gentils, disponibles et de bons conseils. Très bien situé : excentré (calme) mais proche de tout (5-10 minutes a pied) avec une vue magnifique depuis la terrasse ! Excellent rapport qualité prix

great view and exceptional hosts who live on site. nice to have a desk, lockable drawer for valuables, bedside tables and coat rack. excellent breakfast with packed breakfast available for early morning tours. host provided excellent information on transport to sites by local buses and contacts for tuk tuk to national park. .amazing views from verandah and short walk to god restaurants and coffee shops.

would have preferred access to filtered water to refill water bottles to avoid purchase of more water in plastic.bottles.

사진 내용과 다른 황당한 숙소 욕조가 있다는 말에 예약 욕조는 있는데 욕조에 물이 나오질 않아 있으나마나 샤워기는 찔끔찔끔 온수기 가동중 전압때문 갑자기 두번정전 어둠속 샤워하다 날벼락 키친도 있다해서 예약 키친은 어데있는지 알수없고 포트도 있다했는데 포트가 없어 포트를 요구하니 전압때문 방에서 사용시 정전이 된다며 방에서 사용금지 황당 그자체 내용가 맞는건 트윈베드 딱하나 물이라도 사려면 마트 도보왕복 삼십분 3박에 143불 지불 이금액이면 조금 더주고 좋은 숙소 또는 저렴한숙소 추천 전망은 하푸탈레 숙소 거의가 비슷한 앞에 숲전망 차길옆 소음과 알수없는 층간소음

Frühstück mit Toast, wir würden uns mehr typisches Frühstück wünschen aber das ist Geschmacksache :)

The location is ok near to Haputale town .

We reached there like 10pm In booking.com it’s mentioned the room with Flat screen TV but they gave very tiny room without TV it’s totally different from the images in the booking.com. When I arrived there there is no adapter to charge my phone when I asked first he mentioned you have to bring the adapter then I said you must have an normal adapter then he told peoples who came here will take blah blah then he gave me the old one . First he mentioned you can charge in the reception desk how can I put my phone on reception desk and go to the room no point really very very disappointed and they don’t know how to treat customers. We came there late night but in the morning like 7 am it’s very very noisy because dining area is near to our room can’t event sleep very very disgusting at that moment .
