En nuestra habitación había mucha humedad, el propietario nos ofreció una habitación con una cama y mejores vistas pero como viajamos mi hermano y yo, preferimos la de dos camas y bueno...

La vue depuis l'hébergement est superbe ! Le fait qu'ils servent à manger le soir est très appréciable, c'est très copieux et très bon. La chambre est spacieuse, hébergement bien placé pour s'y rendre à pied depuis la gare. Très bon accueil. Le gérant nous a arrangé le trajet jusqu'à Lipton Seat, c'était magnifique !

Un peu d'humidité dans la chambre (taches sur les murs), pour une nuit ça allait

Guesthouse bien située non loin du centre et avec un super point de vue sur la vallée. Propre, arrangeant. très bon rapport qualité-prix.

Fabulous location with views of the hills and only a 5 minute walk to town and 10 minutes to the station. Super clean comfortable room and bathroom Great hot breakfast with a variety of dishes Lovely warm friendly hosts Great place from which to explore the hills area being the mid point between Ella and Nanu Oya, without the over touristy nature of Ella. Part of the Pekoe trail can also be reached from here. The host arranged a tuk tuk to see sunrise at Liptons Seat and a walk down through the tea plantation, a highlight of our trip.

Shower is a little weak but sufficient I like a second sheet on the bed

We enjoyed the view from the terrace and the room was big and comfortable enough for the four of us. The owner was very kind and helpful. We overall loved our stay in Haputale.

Vue magnifique, délicieux repas, l'homme qui accueille est charmant et est très aidant pour l'organisation du voyage. Le linge, serviettes comme draps, sent très bon, ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas ailleurs.

Accueil adorable avec une vue incroyable sur les montagnes et les plantations de thé dont on ne se lasse pas. Les petits déjeuners sont très copieux et délicieux. Au calme et à 2 pas de la ville et des restaurants en même temps .

Struttura molto umida, comprensibile data la posizione, Però era presente molta muffa sulle pareti e c’era un forte odore di fogna nel bagno. La sala comune non era pulita.

Grandioser Ausblick, sehr nette Gastgeberfamilie, wir wurden mit Tee willkommen geheißen. Das Essen war auch sehr gut! Wir haben gute und hilfreiche Hinweise bekommen und gerne wurden Fahrten etc. organisiert.

Das Bad war zwar groß und es gab alles, was man benötigte, allerdings hat es zwischendurch unangenehm gerochen und es war nicht super sauber.

숙소 자체도 아주 훌륭했지만, 무엇보다 호스트분의 깊은 배려에 감동했습니다. 날씨 때문에 갑자기 숙박 일정을 변경해야 했는데 친절하고 유연하게 응대해 주셨습니다. (그리고 스리랑카에서 머물렀던 모든 숙소를 통틀어 최고 수준의 친절함이었습니다). 가성비가 뛰어나고 탁 트인 전망 덕분에 편안하게 휴식하기에 좋았습니다. 하푸탈레 중심가 근처에 머무실 계획이라면 추천합니다. ​The accommodation itself was great, but the host's exceptional thoughtfulness made the stay special. I had to change my booking dates due to bad weather, and they handled it with kindness and flexibility—easily some of the best hospitality I experienced in Sri Lanka. The place offers incredible value for money, with a wonderful, open view that is perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place near central Haputale!

La habitación era grande pero olía un poco a humedad.

Very basic accommodation. Staff were friendly but not overly so. Room was a good size and had two chairs. Balcony was lovely with fabulous views.

Bathroom was not clean, with plenty of cobwebs and dust. We asked the owner if she could cook dinner the following night and she said she would tell us the next day if she would. The answer never came. Previous reviews said meals were good, but we only had breakfast. It was ok, but hot food (omelette, toast) was served cold. All that said, the accommodation was cheap. But we felt it didn’t live up to previous reviews.

Fabulous location with stunning views.A short walk from the town centre. Beautiful dining room, again with stunning views. Property was very clean. Also they cater for families with large lounge area TV and music centre. Water cooler and cooking area. The owner was extremely helpful arranging transport to local beauty spots. And onward transport to our next resort.

Would of liked a small wardrobe in our room. As there was nowhere to hang clothes. The self service kitchen could be improved. Perhaps a small fridge and microwave would be a great bonus. But it was great to be able to get up early and use this kitchen area to make coffee before breakfast as we do get up very early.

I loved my stay here, I had a magical time! The family so so kind and felt very at home. great location and easy to get to some amazing hikes!

Very welcoming and homely inn by the proprietor. Fantastic views. Discussions on what we would like for breakfast and dinner - basically cooked to order. They also provided a tuk-tuk pickup from the train station. Couldn't ask for more, really.

The Host Mr. Charuka is super friendly. Very Supportive. The location has a great view and cute little doggos for any pup lovers.. Food is good and very comfortable place where you can enjoy every bit of the stay.

We had a fantastic room with amazing views of tea plantations, lakes, and hills. The staff were super friendly and served a delicious breakfast.

Was quite a steep road to access the property, which we managed, but some may not.

Staff was friendly and helpful , property has a nice view and room is comfortable . Hot water is available in shower. Breakfast was supper , had a nice srii lankan meal it was great .

Room and Bathroom Cleaniness need more attention, it would be great to have a tea coffee maker and water bottle inside the room. However these are available in common restaurant area outside the rooms.

I had a lovely stay at Amaya Guest Inn. It’s a peaceful, family-run guesthouse with a really welcoming atmosphere. The host provided excellent service throughout my stay. The welcome tea and cakes, enjoyed overlooking the view, were such a thoughtful touch and the perfect way to end the day. The location is also ideal - on the edge of town, so it’s close enough to walk in easily but far enough away to avoid any noise. A relaxing and memorable place to stay.

We booked this place last minute and were very happy to find this place. The host is extremely kind and welcoming, and very passionate about the place he lives. We had a quiet and very clean room, and the breakfast was delicious. And the view from this guest stay is just amazing! Unfortunately we spent only 1 night...

We loved everything. Our KING room opened onto the far end of the balcony/patio, so it was very private. Breakfasts were a mix of western and Sri Lankan, with wonderful locally grown tea. (If you need your coffee fix first thing, bring your own instant. There's a common kettle and cups to make your own). We ate two dinners at Amaya, and they were delish as well. The view is spectacular and the location is perfect: close to the center of town but a couple of streets over, so it is really quiet. Highly recommended.

Maybe they could offer coffee? Or More cups, cutlery and plates for guests to make their own coffee and have their snacks. These are minor suggestions for an otherwise ideal place.

Die Gastgeber waren extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wurden Ausflüge und Transfers organisiert. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen wunderschönen Ausblick.

Śniadanie bardzo dobre i urozmaicone: roti, tosty, omlet z warzywami, masło, dżem, banany, dzbanek herbaty oraz świeżo wyciskany sok. Woda była ogólnie dostępna z dystrybutora. Dużym plusem była możliwość zamówienia śniadania na dowolną godzinę, co w przypadku wczesnego wyjazdu na zwiedzanie plantacji było bardzo wygodne. Pokój nr 2 na parterze: szerokie łóżko z komfortowym materacem, wentylator oraz ładny widok z okna. Do dyspozycji gości jest również jadalnia z widokiem, wspólna strefa wypoczynkowa z dużą kanapą i telewizorem, z której można wyjść na duży balkon z miejscami do siedzenia i podziwiać widoki. Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje bardzo miły pan zajmujący się obsługą gości – kiedy poprosiliśmy o suszarkę do włosów (poprzednia gdzieś zaginęła), poszedł do sklepu i przyniósł nową. Na miejscu można także zamówić tuk-tuka do zwiedzania plantacji herbaty Sir Thomasa Liptona, z czego również skorzystaliśmy.

Very kind hosts, excellent food, and superb view. We got sick on the arrival day and had to cut our stay short, and the host was very caring and understanding. He even very kindly arranged transport for us when our taxi did not show up. We regret not having been able to enjoy our stay longer.

The room that we stayed in has a mold problem; most of the walls had big green spots. The pillows were moldy too. This caused a damp, very unpleasant smell. The host said he would take care of this, but that at their altitude it is hard to avoid.

Super séjour grâce a un hôte très prévenant qui a pu organiser le suivi de notre bagage afin que nous puissions faire des étapes de randonnée . Il cuisine également divinement bien . On a été vraiment bien reçu .

Malheureusement la chambre était un peu humide mais dans cette région difficile d’être au sec !

Wow, the view is absolutely amazing from the balcony! Hosts were fabulous and packed our breakfast to take with us on our bicycles as we were leaving at 6.30am. Room was large and clean, property had good security and only a small number of rooms.

Établissement très bien situé. La chambre est propre mais un peu vétuste et humide. Repas très bons et copieux. Personnel très gentil et aux petits soins.

位置非常棒，就在 Haputale 的中心，從火車站走過去很快就到了，超級方便。房間打掃得非常乾淨且佈置溫馨，讓人有回家的感覺。 最棒的是老闆一家人都超級友善、熱情！強烈推薦一定要預訂他們的晚餐，斯里蘭卡家常菜真的非常美味。 不過，這家民宿最大的亮點絕對是大廳的大陽台和餐廳，從那裡就可以飽覽超美的夕陽景色。

La vue magnifique du balcon et de la salle à manger. Accueil chaleureux et attentionné. Emplacement proche du centre ville tout en étant au calme.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We recommend this accommodation if you are doing the Pekoe trail! We forgot to pay before checking out as we thought it was already paid through booking and the guy from the accomodation came all the way to our next stage of the trail to collect the payment making no fuss about it at all. Very smooth and kind communication. Good breakfast.

There is mold on the walls of the room.

l’emplacement est optimal, loin du bruit de la circulation et de la ville tout en étant à deux pas du centre. Des espaces communs très agréables avec une terrasse qui a une vue très dégagée sur la vallée, un excellent petit déjeuner, une chambre propre, une douche chaude et des hôtes très attentionnés

Il proprietario gentilissimo, accogliente. Stanza molto semplice, come il bagno. La vista è meravigliosa (se c'è bel tempo). Colazione abbondante.

Súper limpio, a gusto. Hemos dormido mejor que cualquier otras noches y hoteles. Hay un calma absoluto por la noche. Vista maravillosa. Personal muy amable y generosa. Nos ayudó llamar a un tuk tuk Parra excursión a Lipton’s Seat, un viaje fantastic. El chofe de tuk tuk también nos llevó en coche a Tangale, muy amable y precio razonable.

The views are amazing, and there is a lovely terrace with tables and chairs to enjoy the view from. The family is very friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast. Easy to refill drinking water from a Dispenser.

No kettle, tea in room, but when I asked, they brought this for me. so a Plus The water pressure is low, but this seems very common in guest houses.

El personal fue muy amable, nos ayudo en todo. El desayuno es muy rico y con vistas increíbles. Las habitaciones sencillas con camas cómodas.

Es gab keine Moskitonetze, obwohl viele Moskitos da waren! Das Badezimmer war nicht sehr sauber. Es gab tote Insekten an den Wänden… Allgemein war das Zimmer etwas schäbig.

Location was great, staff were very kind and allowed us to check in early with a welcome drink. Kindly arranged good value tuk tuks for visiting local attractions. Breakfast was large and extensive.

The room probably needed redecorating but it was ok. Shower water took a while to drain away too. No big deal though.

Fantastische locatie, uitzicht is geweldig. En de service ook helemaal top. En heerlijk gegeten. Ze waren de keuken aan het verbouwen, maar toch boden ze aan om voor ons te koken. Zeer smaakvolle rice & curry!

Goede gastheer, spreekt prima engels. Zowel ontbijt als diner waren goed. Heeft voor ons tour naar liptons seat geregeld, die goed was. De familiekamer was ruim. Er was warm water. Mooi uitzicht vanaf terras

Uit de badkamer kwam af en toe een minder frisse geur (dus deur dicht houden). De taxi naar volgende bestemming geregeld door hotel was bijna 2x pickme prijs (en geen airco)

Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par les hôtes avec un thé pris sur la terrasse qui offre un panorama époustouflant. Notre chambre familiale était très grande, propre et confortable. L'emplacement au coeur de cette petite bourgade est parfait pour aller au resto ou à la boulangerie. Un excellent rapport qualité-prix !

Calorosa accoglienza e grande disponibilità e competenza da parte di tutta la famiglia. All'arrivo nel pomeriggio la signora mi ha accolta con the e biscotti, e sia la cena che la colazione sono state molto buone e abbondanti. Il figlio si occupa anche di organizzare escursioni nei dintorni e sa consigliare al meglio, parlando un ottimo inglese. Bellissima posizione con affaccio sulla vallata, che si può ammirare da un'ampia terrazza. WiFi ben funzionante. Avrei voluto rimanere più a lungo per quanto sono stata bene.

일단 뷰가 끝짱나요!!! 멋진 하푸탈레 전경을 테라스에서 즐길 수 있더니!! 그리고 방도 깨끗하고 넓고 호스트도 친절하고 다정하고! 전 너무 만족했어요!

Accueil très sympathique et hôte tres avenant .

Peaceful location tucked away from the main street, but still within walking distance. Only took 5 mins to get to the main street and 10 mins to the railway station. Although, it is a climb to get to the main street once you leave the guesthouse. But it was well worth the stay. Food was great! Do try their curries and local breakfast. Hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. They were able to help us arrange for transport to the various sights nearby so you need not have to haggle with the tuk tuk riders outside.

Excellent accueil du personnel. Ils font tout pour nous arranger. Très bons petits déjeuners, et dîner. (Khotu). Magnifique vue. Calme.

Incredible view from the terrace, we were given tea on arrival and the hosts were lovely! Very peaceful place. The food is delicious, absolutely recommend eat in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner! There are lots of walks nearby and it’s very close to the train station.

The rooms are a bit damp, but they’re clearly trying to manage it and it must be difficult with the humid air. There’s no laundry service despite what it says on booking.com

Bylo to standardní ubytování v městečku Haputale. Paní majitelka chystá skvělé snídaně z lokálních surovin. Je to velmi dobře situované ubytování s krásnými výhledy. Dobrá lokalita, pokud chcete podniknout výlety po okolí. V těsné blízkosti ubytování najdete půjčovnu skůtrů.

Mohla by být lepší čistota. Někde byl prach a pavučiny.

Die Straße zur Unterkunft war zu dem Zeitpunkt sehr schlecht befahrbar. Zu Fuß war alles klein Problem.

Great location close to the railway station. Easy to walk to and from with beautiful balcony views. The room was large as depicted the bathroom was one of the best we had in sri lanka nice hot water. We also ordered a dinner as well and it was well priced and delicious.

There is mould evident in the room and a damp smell which is clearly due to the humidity and the weather. It's unavoidable but it's hard not to notice. The wifi was also hit and miss, largely a miss.

Wspaniały widok z tarasu. Niesamowici właściciele, bardzo pomocni, pomogli nam zorganizować wyjazd do Horton Plains. Pyszne śniadania i obiady. Dostaliśmy nawet niesamowicie smaczny pakunek wyjeżdżając o 5 rano. Bardzo polecam.
