Accoglienza fantastica, grazie di cuore a Rita e tutti lo staff che si è preso cura di noi. ❤️ Good location few minutes away from Dunbulla Caves and Sigiriya rock. If you want a chill family feeling hotel this is the place to stay! You won’t regret it.

Resort gestito da propietaria italiana molto cortese e socievole. Bella piscina, ottimo ristorante ch serve anche piatti italiani. La camera era enorme, profumata ed elegante.

Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Stanza molto spaziosa, pulita con aria condizionata e pulizia giornaliera. Piscina molto piacevole. Colazione varia e continentale. La responsabile italiana gentilissima. Posizione comoda a 10 minuto da lion rock e dal centro di Sigiriya. Pranzo a buffet buono e disponibili anche nel preparare pranzo al sacco per escursioni.

Rita e Roshan sono dei padroni di casa eccezionali. Aver trascorso qui il nostro soggiorno ci ha fatto esplorare e apprezzare tutta l’essenza del triangolo culturale. Qui non solo ti senti coccolato dal buon cibo (tipico e con un tocco europeo), ma anche dall’organizzazione perfetta dell’escursioni e dei trasferimenti. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo e pulizia. Da provare. Non resterete delusi.

The facility is well maintained and stuff is super friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange a scooter rental.

Bed was a bit noisy when moving

La chambre est très spacieuse, bien équipée. L'emplacement est top. Les propriétaires et tout le personnel sont très sympathiques et toujours prêts à aider. Ils ont de bonnes recommandations. Le service de laundryest très appréciable, peu cher et efficace !

Loved every moment at Lario Resort — amazing staff, thoughtful service, and brilliant help arranging our trips and guiding us along the way. Delicious Sri Lankan spreads, great rooms, and blissful pool time watching langurs and bird life — highly, highly recommend.

Wonderful staff, the bathroom was really clean and the rooms are really spacious. They also helped with arranging ou Safari. If you want to arrange a jeep safari just contact Roshan.

The staff were amazing and made our stay immensely comfortable and worry free. Travelling with a 1yr old, the biggest worry is the food which was addressed fantastically by the hotel. The staff were more than happy to accommodate our requests with the meals for our baby which made our trip more fantastic. Hotel organised a couple of tours for us as well where we got to see herds of elephants as well as a cultural village tour with a bullock cart ride. From the Reception to the Restaurant and Housekeeping, all are fantastic. Definitely will be recommending to our friends back home in Melbourne.

The hotel was lovely! Very conveniently located and the staff were really nice and helpful. The pool was great and the rooms were great value!

Toilet smelly from the gully . Complained before I went on my early morning sigiriya hike but nothing was done till I got back 4/5 hours later . Then they came and cleaned thoroughly thinking the smell will go. But it didn’t . The gully in the shower kept smelling. At check out no manager or owner was at the desk or lobby to address this issue. I had to pay full price regardless.

The property is very beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature. The rooms were clean, the pool area was relaxing, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the calm atmosphere and overall had a very comfortable stay.

Since the hotel is surrounded by nature, there were a few insects, but it was understandable and not a big issue. The amenities were also limited to shampoo, hand soap, bathroom tissues, and towels only.

Amazing warm welcome from the owner. She immediately made you feel part of the family. Amazing rooms and really nice atmosphere .

Room has two stores that provides separate beds perfect for a family. Facilities are clean and bathrooms are clean. Staffs are nice

There are possibly some bugs that in fact would be difficult to be zero in this area.

Ambience is not.good very low average hotel. Ac's were not On and room was not cool before our arrival and it was too hot weather. Size of the room was big and 1 small AC took time to make the room cool enough. There were mosquitoes and we asked them to spray the room and washroom. Lizards were also seen in the washroom so it was bit of uncomfortable stay with kids.

Tout était parfait Le personnel est au petit soin, souriant et disponible, le petit déjeuner est excellent et varié, les repas sont aussi de grandes qualité. Tout est à disposition et inclus dans le prix de la chambre ( eau minérale, anti moustique dans les chambre, serviettes… ) Nous avons eu la chance d’échanger avec la propriétaire qui est italienne et qui parle très bien français et elle nous a conseillé sur les différentes activités. Notamment un safari où nous avons eu la chance de voir de nombreux éléphants ! On a passé un superbe séjour

Le personnel était très sympathique et très serviable et disponible.

La piscine ne semblait pas claire du tout. Elle piquait énormément aux yeux. Le pire de notre nuit car notre séjour n'était que d'une nuit est que lors de cette nuit les chiens n'ont pas arrêté de crier et d'aboyer. Quand nous sommes partis en excursion à 5h du matin, ils étaient là, toujours à hurler sans signe d'agressivité. Une nuit affreuse !

The room was big

Rooms and hotel are old . Walls are dirty and could use a fresh point job. Extremely noisy rooms. It’s like not having a wall. Breakfast was really one of the worse I ever had. I asked for an espresso, it was not included and got charged 900 Rs for it.

Eau fraîche mise à disposition dans la chambre et sur le palier. Bouilloire et nécessaire pour se faire un café/the. Piscine agréable. Très bon petit déjeuner avec des choix de spécialités locales ainsi que occidentale. Dîner du soir bon et copieux (starter+soup+plat+dessert) seule les boissons de sont pas incluses. Restauration sur place le midi.

Die Zimmer waren in Ordnung, der Außenbereich sehr schön angelegt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Essen. Wir haben abends im Restaurant traditionelles Curry gegessen, welches bis dahin das beste auf unserer Reise war! Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

The room is super big and clean and the personal is very nice. The food for lunch/dinner at the restaurant is amazing and for a very fair price. We even saw groups of people coming to the hotel just to eat. The swimming pool area is very beautiful. The personal organized a Tuktuk for us to go on pur excursions.

The location is a bit far away from Sigiriya, but it can be easily reached by TukTuk. The breakfast could improve. You can hear many noises from the room.

I really enjoyed the food finally something not too spicy, which was perfect for me! 😍 The price is very affordable compared to what we get in return, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. The room was amazing, clean, spacious, and very comfortable

La amabilidad del personal de recepción que en todo momento nos facilitó apoyo. Incluso hubo un error nuestro a la hora de realizar la reserva y lo subsanaron con muchísima amabilidad.

El desayuno tal vez podría ser con productos de mayor calidad.

La struttura si trova in una posizione strategica per visitare diverse attrazioni. Le stanze sono grandi e pulite, lo staff gentile e disponibile. Grazie a Rita per i preziosi consigli e l’accoglienza speciale!!

Breakfast was good. The location was near sigiriya lion rock. All the staff were friendly..

The pool was not clean. The ceiling fan was not working in our room. We were managing with the table fan given by the management. The tissue holder in the bathroom was found loose.

L hotel è molto bello accogliente e la padrona Italiana disponibile e gentile. Ci hanno preparato la colazione al sacco perchè partivamo presto ed era buonissima. Anche il buffet colazione e cena buono e tipico. Stanza pulita.

Purtroppo i vetri delle stanze non sono spessi si sente abbastanza rumore da fuori e l aria condizionata rumorosa. tutte cose migliorabili nel tempo si riesce a dormire comunque bene.

The breakfast was disappointing: very few options and everything, including the pancakes, was served cold. In the bathroom, there was visible mold caused by a leak in the shower itself, spreading onto both the bathroom wall and even into the bedroom. We also experienced random power failures, and the internet connection was extremely poor, with speeds constantly around 100 kb/s. The swimming pool was nice, but unfortunately it lacked privacy, as it is fully visible from the busy road—something that felt uncomfortable, especially for female guests. Finally, the bed was of very poor quality; the mattress springs could be felt while lying down, making it very uncomfortable.

Nice food, nice staff, we only stayed for one night. The helped us hire a driver to go Ella which was very kind.

If you like me don’t like insects be aware that there might be some in the room, however the staff is kind to come up and help take them out

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft von Anfang an sehr willkommen gefühlt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich Harris, der nicht nur sehr freundlich und aufmerksam ist, sondern auch fließend Deutsch spricht. Er hat sich immer Zeit für uns genommen, war bei Fragen sofort zur Stelle und hat uns mit vielen hilfreichen Tipps versorgt. Man merkt, dass ihm das Wohl der Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Ein großes Lob geht auch an Madu und Damith, die beiden Kellner im Restaurant. Sie haben jeden unserer Essenswünsche mit einem Lächeln erfüllt, waren stets aufmerksam und haben selbst kleine Sonderwünsche problemlos möglich gemacht. Ihr freundlicher Service hat jeden Aufenthalt im Restaurant zu einem echten Genuss gemacht. Sowohl das Team, als auch die Besitzerin, sorgen mit viel Herzlichkeit und Professionalität dafür, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

My stay was overall very good! The property was clean and comfortable, with efficient service. The staff were kind and helpful, especially Thilina, who was attentive and professional. A positive experience that I would recommend.

Camere pulite, lo staff è molto gentile e la proprietaria che è italiana anche. Al nostro arrivo ci hanno datovil benvenuto con dei succhi tropicali freschi. Buonissimo l'odore della camera, credo siano chiodi di garofano. La colazione a buffet buona La piscina molto carina e curata Era il compleanno di mia sorella alla mattina del 5 agosto, e avevo chiesto se come sorpresa le portavano una candelina, ma sono stati molto gentili e sono andati oltre quello che avevo chiesto: fiori, biglietto con auguri e piccola torta con candela per noi e canzone di auguri in italiano :D. Bel posto

Il menu alla carta andrebbe rivisto. Club sandwich con il pesce non buono, prezzi alla carta più alti rispetto alla media in questo Paese.

L’hôte italienne était chaleureuse et aux petits soins durant tout notre séjour. Sa gentillesse au quotidien nous a fait passer un super séjour. Elle s’est occupée de nous réserver le safari, nous a préparé des lunch box pour l’occasion, elle n’a pas hésité à nous donner des conseils également et cela a rendu l’expérience encore meilleure. Au niveau du buffet, il y avait du choix, avec un côté international, et un côté plus sri-lankais. Nous n’avons pas utilisé la piscine, mais c’est plutôt pratique pour se rafraîchir. Nous avons également pu déposer notre linge sale auprès de la réception, qui s’est occupée de tout en moins de 24h. Nous recommandons vivement l’endroit de manière générale, très propre, organisé et avec une hôte splendide. Grazie mille !!!
