Le côté nature et la gentillesse du personnel

La propreté (serviette, chambre etc), la chambre et la piscine étaient différentes que sur les photos, et il n’y avait pas de wifi.

Una piccola struttura immersa nella campagna Singalese,lo staff è molto disponibile è accogliente, Sopratutto il Manager. La stanza è particolarmente buia dato anche dal color marrone dei muri, letto comodo, l’aria condizionata funziona bene. Il bagno è molto spartano bisogna adattarsi. Essendo fuori mano per raggiungere la strada principale per la ricerca di tuk tuk o taxi richiede una camminata di 20 minuti circa,tra villaggi e risaie. Di giorno fattibile di notte sconsiglia essendo parecchio isolata. Questo comporta ad essere vincolati a muoversi con il tuk tuk convenzionato alla struttura che richiede un prezzo elevato non trattabile ma offrendo un buon servizio.

Il bagno. La piscina non in ottime condizioni, l’acqua era verde, noi abbiamo soggiornato 2 giorni e solo dopo esserci lamentati hanno provveduto a sistemare. Era in perfette condizioni al giorno del check out… peccato 😅

Expérience immersive dans la jungle. Les cabanes construites autour des arbres sont jolies en photos, mais moins facile à vivre au quotidien. Emplacement facile pour rayonner autour de Sigiriya uniquement avec voiture.

Manque d’eau chaude. Literie trop dure. Petites fourmis envahissantes. Manque de filtration dans la piscine.

Location is stunning, immersed in the jungle. Very peaceful overall and lush. The garden is beautiful. Bed was comfortable. Overall an ok experience but I wouldn’t book it again.

Very bumpy road to reach the place, our driver had to drive very slowly to avoid damaging the car which meant that it would take quite long to reach the hotel. The bathroom was very basic and old (wobbly toilet and old shower). The shower itself is powered by a faulty heater and the temperature was barely lukewarm. No towels in the room, we had to go and ask for them. Overall it felt clean but the sheets had some stains on them.

I loved going to sleep and waking up to the sounds of the jungle. The swimming pool was an oasis after a day visiting Sigiriya and the temples.

The quality of the food in the restaurant didn’t match the price.

Lovely quiet area in the countryside. Room number 2 upstairs with balcony area was very spacious and comfortable. Very good food.. and generous portions. Nice pool.. small but in lovely setting. Hotel is cash only.

No fridge in the room but we did use the staff fridge. The road to the property is a bit tricky and slow going. Repairs are planned.

Hele mooie locatie met uitzicht over de rijstvelden. De kamer is erg comfortabel met een groot tweepersoonsbed. Vriendelijk personeel, maar kunnen weinig tot geen Engels.

De verwachtingen klopten niet door onwaarheden in de advertentie. De kamers zijn erg gehorig, dus niet geïsoleerd zoals in de advertentie staat vermeld. Er is een wifinetwerk, maar eigenlijk is er geen enkele plek waar het bereik sterk genoeg is. Er hangt een tv, maar die doet het niet. Het zwembad kan wel een schoonmaakbeurt gebruiken. Als je geen ei wil/lust is het ontbijt een beetje karig.

Es ist ein magischer Ort abseits des Tourismus mitten in der Natur mit Blick auf Reisfelder. Wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge. Das kleine Resort vermittelt wirkliches Dschungelfeeling. Das Angebot des Restaurants ist überschaubar aber von guter Qualität. Etwa Zeit mitbringen, aber man ja zum entschleunigen da.

Super nice areal with very welcoming staff and host. The kids loved the pool. Situated right at the jungle with amazing animal sounds, not annoying. Lovely garden with a lot of different plants. Our room even had an entire tree inside. Nice food also.

Exceptionnel quand on le met en lien en plus avec le tarif, c’est magnifique, la végétation, les singes au bord de la piscine, les oiseaux, les caméléons, lézards… les chambres sont confortables, le personne est vraiment compétent ( bien plus que n’importe où ailleurs). Le petit déjeuner est très copieux. Au restaurant, la carte est varié avec des plats sri lankais et internationaux, les tarifs sont très corrects et les portions importantes.

La ubicació a Google Maps és molt complexe, però si el senyor de la casa dona indicacions el conductor, hi ha un camí més fàcil.

Gorgeous location in the middle of nowhere. Comfortable room, great view, and plenty of wildlife around. Lovely veranda perfect for relaxing. We especially appreciated the staff, who helped arrange everything we planned — from safari and dinners to temple visits and a transfer to another city — in the best and most comfortable way possible.

Le lieu est magique en plein milieu de la jungle de Sigiriya, Le personnel vraiment adorable et aux petits soins pour nous tout au long du séjour, ils nous ont aidés à tout organiser pour profiter pleinement de Sigiriya et toutes ses activités ! les repas sont très bons et c’est vraiment un super rapport qualité prix ! on se sent comme à la maison ! mention spéciale si vous avez l’occasion de croiser le boss du lieux Sonny qui est vraiment adorable et serviable ! Pour la petite histoire il s’est levé à 5h du matin pour nous amener voir le lever de soleil au Lion Rock car le Tuk Tuk n’est jamais arrivé ! je recommande ce lieu à 200 %

Aucun point négatif à relever par contre il vous faut un moyen de transport (Tuktuk ou autre) pour aller dans le centre de Sigiriya à cause des Éléphants sauvages.

Le cadre est exceptionnel, l'hôtel est dans la jungle avec une jolie piscine et les chambres sont superbes, nous avions un arbre dans la nôtre ! Mémorable! Le personnel est adorable et la formule petit déjeuner / dîner très appréciable... Tout était excellent !

Personnel chaleureux et professionnel toujours disponible pour nous aider et nous faire plaisir. Le restaurant était tres bon avec des prix trés corrects.L environnement est tres sauvage et calme. Les chambres de l etage sont plus spacieuses et plus modernes avec des terrasses pour profiter de l exterieur.Ne pas s attendre au standing européen mais tres bien pour du sri lankais.

De plek was prachtig! Een echte oase. We hebben ons zeer welkom gevoeld. Het eten op het resort was heerlijk en goed verzorgd. En het uitzicht vanaf de verdieping van onze kamers was prachtig. De manager kon ons veel vertellen over de dieren die om het resort zitten. Zeker een aanrader!

Bijzondere rustige locatie buiten het dorp met een lekker zwembad om te genieten van de omgeving. Vriendelijke mensen.

Het personeel spreekt geen Engels. Toen wij aankwamen werd ons niet verteld dat je ook kon avondeten bij de locatie. Het zou zoveel makkelijker zijn als ze ergens op een A4-tje de belangrijkste mededelingen zouden noteren zodat alles helder is ook als bij aankomst geen personeel aanwezig is die Engels spreekt. Zeker omdat de locatie ver van de bewoonde wereld zit. We hadden 2 kamers geboekt. Eentje was erg mooi, de andere beneden was leuk met de boom in de badkamer maar daardoor ook onhygiënisch omdat er water blijft staan en dat gaat stinken.

Geweldige, sfeervolle locatie in the middle of nowhere, niet ver van Sigiriya, met mooi uitzicht over rijstvelden. Lekker zwembad, hele gezellige kamers.

We booked superior rooms but at time of arrival they had been given to other guests, so we had to agree on standard rooms for the first night. We got superior rooms for our second night. Although we agreed on a lower price at arrival because of the inferior rooms, they tried to charge the full amount at check out which we of course refused. In general it needs better maintenance : no cleaning under the beds, dirty matresses at the pool, dirty pool toilet, … A lot of things are broken and need to be repaired : broken tiles at the pool, broken toilet seat, holes in the bathroom tiles, …. Breakfast is poor : 3 slices of bread and an omelet, some marmelade and a bit of fruit, extra charge for juice. WiFi is a disaster. This place could be a true paradise if properly managed

Bruit de la chambre qui a l'arbre en plain milieu, très mauvaise insonorisation entre les chambres, salle de bain impraticable, lenteur et non organisation dans le service du restaurant (en moyenne une heure d'attente pour ne pas etre servis en même temps....n'accepte pas la carte bancaire pour les paiements. Petit déjeuner très décevant.

Cabañas dobles pequeñas, con una decoración en tonos oscuros y poca iluminación. El baño tenía el suelo muy desgastado y no había una zona diferenciada para la ducha. En general, al hotel le faltaba bastante limpieza. La primera habitación que nos dieron estaba llena de mosquitos así que tuvimos que cambiar de habitación. Si te quedas dos noches, no limpian la habitación de un día para otro. La piscina era bastante pequeña y el agua estaba turbia. Para llegar revisar bien el acceso porque uno de los que hay está en muy mal estado.

Traumhaft feines Essen!

The place is set in a lovely lush garden and has a nice little pool to chill off after the day. The rooms were spacious, the furniture was in perfect condition. The staff was really nice and friendly.

Indeed there is cc 10 minutes ride on a bumpy road but we thought the lovely setting was well worth it.

Very unique stay! Breakfast was great, and the staff were very friendly. Our kids loved the pool and we even had a late night visit from an elephant! The tree was very creative in our room, you could even hear it creaking when there was wind.

Little to no WiFi. Kids playground area was not very safe with lots of spider webs. The road was a bit difficult to drive as well (very remote)

Wo kommen die 4 Sterne her? Das Zimmer war klein und düster (hatten eigentlich das Deluxe Zimmer - davon war nichts zu merken). Das Bad war grenzwertig (Sanitäranlagen sind nicht richtig befestigt, es wirkt nicht sauber). Man bekommt zwei große Handtücher, zwei kleine gab es erst gar nicht. Nach Toilettenpapier mussten wir auch fragen. Dreckige Läufer vorm Bad. Der Boden hat geklebt. Zwei mal hatten wir Kakerlaken im Zimmer... Super eklig. Ja, man ist in der Natur und die Tiere gibt es da nunmal. Aber bei 4 Sterne erwartet man einfach einen ganz anderen Standart! Die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig. Die Poolliegen haben keine Auflagen. Einen Sonnenschirm haben wir erst bekommen, nachdem unser Fahrer das Hotel darauf angesprochen hat... Die Jungs die dort für das Hotel zuständig sind, sprechen so gut wie kein Englisch... Schwierig. Alles in Allem gibt es viel Potential, was aber überhaupt nicht ausgeschöpft wird. Dadurch wirkt es sehr lieblos. Ach ja: das "schnelle Internet" mit was geworben wird ist faktisch nicht vorhanden... Wir waren froh, dass unsere Zeit nach 3 Nächten dort vorbei war.

Estás metido en medio de la selva con una piscina pequeña pero con encanto.

El baño huele un poco mal, no hay agua caliente exceptuando un pequeño calentador eléctrico que no es suficiente para ducharse (además tuvimos la mala suerte que hubo una avería que nos dejó sin agua unas horas). Tuvimos unos vecinos muy ruidosos. El servicio tampoco nos gusto en ningún caso.

Good basic breakfast. Safari got arranged for us. Room was a bit dirty and drinks were a bit overpriced. A bit tricky to reach when its raining, but tuk tuk drivers will give their best to bring you there safely Very nice views though👍

La propreté de façon générale.

Die Anlage ist abgelegen und somit ruhig. Das Frühstück bestand auf einem leckeren Omelett und 3 Toast mit Butter, Marmelade und etwas Obst, Kaffee oder Tee. Die Crew ist freundlich und quirlig. Das Essen abends im Restaurant war lecker, aber auch recht teuer. Der Pool war in Ordnung, die Liegen interessant konstruiert, aber auch super hart...keine Auflagen vorhanden. Insgesamt war die Übernachtung für die Ausstattung und den Comfort zu teuer.

Der Durchlauferhitzer in der Dusche schafft es gerade mal, das Wasser lauwarm zu machen, da es abends recht kühl wurde, hätte ich mich über eine warme Dusche gefreut. Der Raum ist, wie so oft in Sri Lanka stockig zudem waren viele Löcher in den Fliesen, wo entweder mal Steckdosen / Lichtschalter waren oder für irgendwann mal vorgesehen sind. Sieht nach Baustelle aus.

The food

There was a mouse in our room on the first night. Very poor handling of the issue by the property owner. It caused us trouble, and we ended up at the tourist police.

Agréable d'être au coeur de "la jungle". La restauration est très bonne et l'équipe, particulièrement le cuisinier, sont très sympathique.. La piscine offre un moment de détente appréciable..

ATTENTION Afin d'éviter tout malentendu une chambre avec deux grands lits n'existe pas. Il s'agit d'un grand lit avec rajout de 1 petit lit. Il est donc temps de modifier la proposition pour le confort des clients. Le manager a eu tt de même la correction de rectifier par un geste commercial cette erreur..

We had an amazing stay at the Jungle Hut. Our room was spacious, very clean and had a great AC. The hotel is situated in a very lush garden right between the jungle and some rice fields. There are peacocks moving about on the road to the property, and the surroundings are beautiful. The staff were also great. Everyone was super nice and very service minded. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We had dinner at the resort one night, and it was amazing. We are a devilled beef and chicken kottu, and both were fantastic. The devilled beef is one of the best dishes we’ve had in Sri Lanka thus far. To sum up, we had a really good experience at the Jungle Hut, and it exceeded our expectations. We definitely recommend this place if you’re staying in Sigiriya!

Location was peaceful. Raw materials were there to deliver……

Room wasn’t properly prepared. No toilet paper or toiletries. No tea coffee water. Tv remote missing. Air con remote not working. Pool dirty. It had water boatmen swimming in it which means the chemical levels were too low and people will get sick. No cushions for pool furniture. We had 5 beers between us and they ran out. Next day they still didn’t have any more. No effort made here at all. Lackadaisical and poorly run there was no management just some boys. Manager just turned up to check in and take money. Oh and dinner (we only ate there one night) was so overcooked chicken and beef it was inedible. Like shoe leather. Lots of smiles but no idea how to run a place. Roy’s place (30 min walk) is 100% worth the extra. We had a great lunch there. Sorry guys. It’s a fail from us. All small things but collectively they just kept adding up.

The staff is really helpful.u will feel that u are living in the middle of a jungle. No need extra safari experience.

The Road to the hotel is in a very bad condition. Contact the hotel before ur arrival so that they will give the directions. Payment accepted only cash which is a bit headache. Food prices are bit over rated.

I m disappointed to say that we had a bad experience during my recent stay at your hotel Jungle hut resort.As a paying customer I expected to receive a certain level of service and unfortunately my expectations were not met. Pool was not in a position to use and seems to be not clean. During the night we heard loud music which we couldn't have proper sleep with kids .Music was continuing till mid night. Also with all these issues they charged more 15% Tax form us (add more than booking. Com final price) .So we had to pay additional amount.

Well, it was an adventure getting there! It had been unusually rainy so many roads were flooded. It is also in the middle of the jungle, which is the best part. We had a very warm welcome and a lovely room. We were only staying one night and we were getting up very early to climb Lions Rock. When we returned we were able to have breakfast before we checked out. The staff were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was great, service was great, pool was a delight and the puppies were so cute.

This was the most beautiful jungle retreat, we stayed here for one night and wish we had more time. Surrounded by nature and the rooms are to die for, exceptionally clean and furnished to a high standard. Big shout out to the staff who were lovely and always had the biggest smile.

Quite far away from anything. Noisy room ( mainly due to guests and water pump right outside my window. so didn’t sleep well. And disappointed as no view and bars on window made me feel claustrophobic

Горячая вода организована через нагреватели, которые обладают низкой мощностью и струя воды получается крайне слабой. В бассейне была не очень прозрачная вода. Ужин и завтрак были с большими задержками

The Location is amazing if you look for a remote getaway. The views are stunning and you can hear various animals at night (which can be also quite loud!). You should not be walking outside of the property at night as it can be dangerous.

There is no "real road" leading to the location and Google Maps will probably guide you through muddy roads with deep holes. Make sure to contact the number privided to get correct directions. If you don't have a vehicle of your own it will be quite pricey to visit the surroundings. The Manager was helpful, however he charges horrendous prices for "local partners".

If you really love the Nature … this is the best place to live with the natural greenery
