J’ai payé une nuit et un petit déjeuner pour rien car il n’était pas indiqué que nous ne pouvions pas arriver après 22h00. Le petit déjeuner est pas du tout varier c’est un croissant et un pain au chocolat avec un yaourt. À plus de 140€ la nuit je m’attendais à mieux. Attention il demande le paiement de la taxe de séjour en liquide.

Impossibilite de deposer les bagages en voiture alors que le parking est eloigne...mais c est naturel d interdire les voitures dans le village. Le plus serait une voiturette de golf dediee a l hotel...

Het bed was een beetje hard. Dit is denk ik persoonlijk maar voor ons net niet fijn.

The host was so lovely and helpful - every morning at breakfast he helped us plan our day and the train routes / gave us great ideas. He also gave us our breakfast so promptly, offering refills before we even had to ask. Gorgeous garden / setting surrounded by lemon trees, he even gave us some lemon to take home to London. Other staff also gave us restaraunt recommendations and beach towel. We will definitely be back.

Simone the owner went out of his ti make sure we were all well taken care of at breakfast. We all enjoyed our time there and lived learning about the history of his family. Very charming place

Just far enough up the Main Street to avoid too much noise, but an easy walk to the station and harbour. Friendly host and simple but lovely breakfast, with the option of eating among the lemon trees. Rooms cleaned every day. Would definitely return.
The only thing we missed were tea/coffee making facilities in the room, especially after reception had closed and so we couldn’t order drinks either.

Le petit déjeuner n’est pas du tout varié. Une corneille de viennoiseries. Pas de jus frais , pas de fromage ou autre . Pas de bouilloire dans la chambre et pas de café, thé, infusions à disposition. Le mobilier de la terrasse était très usé et rouillé .

No negatives... it is safe, adequate, and a short walk up a steep hill from the train station. This place has an industrial minimalist design. Concrete floors, metal counter, white/beige interior. Bathroom reminds me of a 50s bospital with a pop of color.

Reviewed May 21, 2026Located in the lovely town of Manarola it was a great base for our trip to Cinque Terre. Good breakfast and coffee. The host Simone was hospitable and made us feel welcome. Rooms were spacious with particularly big bathrooms. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Not an issue for us but one of our rooms was on the third floor.

The friendliest owner, Simone, provides croissants/sweet breads/bread with yogurt and coffee/train fresh made to your liking. This hotel was renovated from the winery/olive press building that was his grandfather’s. He has it very tastefully decorated in the common areas with the formers presses and pictures of the Manarola from a century ago. Highly recommend this property! 10/10
We absolute love this property, but it is a short but steep climb from the center of town. Would also appreciate 2 pillows per person.

That the garden area closed at 8pm. It would’ve been nice to sit outside after a long day of hiking. We didn’t have a room w a patio.

Beds were a bit hard for our taste. Breakfast would benefit from a few more choices, such as eggs/bacon, and cereal with fiber like Raisin Bran. 😆

Till frukost saknade vi pålägg till brödet, annars helt ok. Lite hård säng men det verkar det vara överallt.

Very helpful owner who kept us informed of local train strike ahead of our stay and made our room available when we arrived early in a thunderstorm. That’s hospitality! Lovely breakfast to enjoy amongst citrus trees in the garden ( when the storm had passed 😏)

Reviewed Sep 3, 2025This is a fantastic little hotel - members of our have group have stayed in Cinque Terra towns on many occasions, and we all agreed this was by far the best place any of us have stayed there. Superb communication from the booking onwards, brilliant location (2 mins walk from Manarola centre but just up the hill enough to be relatively calm and very quiet at night), excellent clean rooms many with lovely balconies and views, and a fantastic breakfast (super-fresh croissants and breads, great coffee etc). All in all we thought it was superb value for money, and would definitely choose this same hotel to come back to next time… and we will 😃
