The Bianconi Inn

The ambiance was classy but not pretentious. The staff were very exceptionally helpful, both in the hotel and the restaurant. We slept well and ate well, and felt welcome all the while. Special shout-outs to Christina mad Rory. We will stay there again when we return to the area.

Nice old style comfortable hotel in a good location. Excellent restaurant with beautiful locally sourced food. Very good breakfast options. The breakfast was included in the price.

There is no lift which may not suit all guests.

Not a negative, but highly recommend remembering to put the towel down on the tiles after the shower as very slippy when wet!

Beautiful accommodation central to the town. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean. Lovely breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if ever in Killorglin.

Could not find a fault with this accommodation. Just to note, it does not have a lift, in case anyone booking has mobility issues. This was not an issue for us.

I liked room, comfortable bed,

No air conditioner and heating in the room. Only electric heater which is controlled by staff. Breakfast is good, but every day same buffet and no option like ham, cheese and etc for simple sandwich

Beim Frühstück konnte man neben einem Buffet auch noch aus einer Reihe schön zusammengestellter Speisen wählen (z.B. Pancakes, Full Irish Breakfast, Omelette etc.), was ich deutlich attraktiver empfinde als ein reines Buffet.

Einzig negativer Punkt ist die Lage direkt an einer frequentierten Straße, das bei geöffneten Fenstern zu Straßenlärm geführt hat. Jedoch im Rahmen, da ist jedes Hotel, das in einer Stadt gelegen ist, lauter.

El desayuno es muy variado y generoso. La cama es enorme. Mi habitación tenía una mesa con dos sillas tipo mesa del té. Amplitud de la habitación y el baño.

Escaleras algo estrechas para subir con una maleta. Algo de ruido del tráfico de la calle.

Attenzione al rumore dei ventilatori della cucina (dalle 7.15 la mattina) o a quelli della strada. Entrambi si sentono in camera.

Hotel centrale a Killorglin, struttura moderna e curata, stanza un po piccola ma molto confortevole. Ottime la colazione e soprattutto la cena, davvero di livello.

The room we stayed in didn’t have a mini fridge. Could be a nice addition just to keep a few drinks cold as a lot of people are on the road traveling.

The booking procedure was very simple and quick. Check in was the same. All the staff amd extremely friendly amd welcoming. The rooms are excetionaly clean, luxurious and spacious. We dined in the restaurant each night. The choices were so varied and vast and the food was delicious. My gluten free diet was very well accomodated. The location was perfect for all the hikes and beautiful beaches within a short distance.

Nothing to dislike

Fine food was varied and well presented.

It does have traffic noise, as harvest etc deliveries going on in and around the small Irish town in Co Kerry in July. No parking on site but free car park was a short way down the road and across from hotel.

We had an excellent stay at The Bianconi Inn, food was excellent in the restaurant and the staff were so attentive to us and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone hiking Carrauntohill.

Room at front beside busy road so could hear people being loud in early hours that woke us up

Spacious, well-appointed room, very clean and comfortable. Traffic noise outside was adequately reduced by shutting the windows. No aircon so it was good that the night wasn't too hot. Perfect for purpose though, would recommend.

On the main road so parking was not available directly outside. The side street had 2hr parking limit on weekdays from Ian to 6pm.

Big bedroom. Good range of items for breakfast. Good restaurant with clever arrangement of tables providing a degree of privacy. Very helpful staff.

Noise from the restaurant continued late into the night. There was no air con or fan in the room.

It was attached to a Gasto pub, the food was excellent. The room was clean and well maintained

Room 205 had the kitchen exhaust outside it. In this heat with the window open, it’s noisy and the smell from the kitchen drifted into the room.

The breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is central. The restaurant is very good .

The building is old , so there is no elevator, nor air conditioner. Unfortunately they had a heat wave. It is on a very busy street with big trucks and tractors passing at all hours, one cannot leave the windows open. The owner was very nice to provide us a couple of fans at nights so that we could sleep.

Lovely inn located in central part of Killorgin. The room was very comfortable with great bed and shower. Excellent friendly staff. Excellent restaurant and superb breakfast. Great place to stay.

Very little issues. It was sweltering hot but no air conditioning. Kettle broken and couldn’t have coffee in the room but no big deal. Hard to ventilate the room windows small. Minor issues.

The food is superb, the staff are very friendly and service is very good.

In the heat this Summer a fan would have been very welcome in the bedroom in the absence of air conditioning.

A good typical European hotel. The rooms were good, decent size. The bathroom was stylish and effective, but there was no horizontal surface to put your travel kit. The beds were good, along with the pillows. Our room was on the second floor, which meant two flights of stairs. The restaurant was indeed "multi-award winning" as they say. Good food, but way too large of portions. No one can eat that much. All in all, it was a good experience. I can recommend the place.

The worst thing was because of the heat wave, every window that could open, was open. If you are on the front of the building, next to the road, the traffic noise was a problem. If you are on the back side of the building, you are awakened by a service person making a lot of noise working on the kitchen ventilation equipment. If it were cooler parts of the year, it wouldn't be a factor.

Because it is an older building it doesn't have A/C but until the past few years I'm sure they didn't need it.

We weren’t terribly impressed with the accommodation. The reception was not terribly friendly (a bit harried perhaps) and our superior twin room (last room available on booking.com and not cheap), had no fridge, no fan and a tea/coffee corner with no socket for the kettle, and poor Wi-Fi. The room was also next to the main road so was very noisy for resting after a long drive. We didn’t want to shut the windows because it was hot and muggy.

La struttura è molto curata, anche nei particolari. La camera molto spaziosa. La possibilità di avere il ristorante all'interno della struttura è una comodità per chi non vuole perdere tempo a cercare in giro ... e il cibo è veramente di qualità.

Chambre située sur le coin et donc au croisement des routes donc très bruyante (autres chambres donnent sur la rue du côté donc certainement moins bruyantes)

Top class breakfast with great variety on menu.

Petit-déjeuner copieux et bon. De plus on a eu un problème avec une valise et le personnel à la réception nous a aidé à régler ça rapidement.

Un ascenseur car monter les valises dans un escalier étroit, c’est pas facile pour tout le monde.
