Location was awesome! Out of the city and quiet. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was more than helpful!! I would stay here again!

It was a very spacious hotel room and a nice bathroom and shower. It was clean and even came with some free fruit and water bottles. The breakfast in the morning was very nice with a lots of different options to pick from.

It's not a very modern hotel, we had to check in before 9 so we had to leave early from the previous hotel and there was no option for a self-checkin. This was just a littlebit inconvenient for us, not a bad thing per-see.

La camera era veramente bellissima: su due piani spaziosissima e pulitissima. Con tanto di biscottino sul cuscino. Lo staff gentilissimo. Abbiamo dormito solo una notte e non abbiamo usufruito della colazione. È vicinissimo a grindelwalt. In macchina diamo arrivate in 5 minuti, comodissimo quo di anche grindelwalt terminal dive abbiamo lasciato la macchina per salire sullo jungfraujoch.

Non ho trovato nulla di negativo. Non ho dato 10 solo perche non ho potuto provare ristorante e colazione. Ma è davvero ottimo

Lage super-idyllisch mit toller Aussicht auf die Berge. Wenn man aus dem Fenster schaut, lädt es schon direkt zum Wandern ein. Restaurant hat super Essen, echte Schweizer Klassiker und man wird satt. Hatte das Zürcher Geschnetzelte, einen Menüsalat und das Eis. Hat mir alles super geschmeckt. Badezimmer weit besser als erwartet. Raum selbst super-gemütlich und es gab sogar einen Apfel, ein Wasser und ein Gebäck als Willkommensgeschenk. Das weiss ich sehr zu schätzen. Ausserdem durfte ich mein Gepäck bereits vor dem Check-In kostenlos einchecken. Auch dafür bin ich dankbar, so konnte ich den Tag auf dem Jungfraujoch unbeschwert geniessen. Der Kaffee beim Frühstück war sehr gut! Insgesamt ein rustikales, ehrliches Haus.

Beim Frühstück kam bei mir etwas Verwirrung auf. Die junge, freundliche Frau hat alles super gemanaged. Jedoch wurde das Buffet eröffnet und ich sah noch gar kein Brot oder Weggli. Daraufhin habe ich mir bereits die Beilagen genommen und wusste aber nicht, was als nächstes kommt und sass dann erstmal "wie bestellt und nicht abgeholt" am Platz. Nur weil ein anderer Gast nachfragte, bekam ich dann mit, dass man sich nun Brot usw. nehmen dürfe. Und ich hatte so ein Spezialexemplar "anderer Gast" abends im Restaurant, der war von Beginn an nur am meckern und ist mit der Servierkraft einfach unmöglich umgegangen. Trägt irgendeinen clownsalbernen Velohelm und meckert dann aber die Servierkraft an, dass er ihn nicht erkennen würde. Nachher wollte der sogar seine Bestellung gratis haben. Lieber Wirt, ganz ehrlich - auf solche Leute könnt Ihr mit Eurem tollen Essen und Eis und Getränken doch verzichten - die würd ich an Ihrer Stelle einfach komplett an die Luft setzen. Ich war von diesem Benehmen des Gastes als "Mitgast" einfach nur entsetzt.

Before I arrived I received an email saying that I need to pay an extra 80 CHF per night. Even though they had agreed to the Bookings.com price before I paid. I booked for double occupancy as shown on my booking. Then they said it was only for single occupancy. And worse of all the manager didn’t want to hear my side and was very abrasive. And also mentioned this happens all the time.

the place is excellent 👏😊. good value for money. staff friendly. good facilities. have electric car charging area. bus stop 121/128 from grindelwald terminal in front of hotel. ample parking spaces for hotel guests. good choices of breakfast served. restaurant is affordable. what stands out? the view of wetterhorn and eiger mountain. very highly recommended hotel. will be back soon.

ドミトリー式で他人と泊まるにもかかわらず、CHF85もとられた。ほかのところならこれよりも2－3割安い。この料金は、普通のシングルルーム並みである。

Even though it’s on the last bus stop of route 121 it was not a hassle at all to get to and from the Grindewald centre and terminal. In fact we loved that we were in a quieter location than the hustle and bustle of town, and the views from the hotel were beautiful to sit and have a quiet drink in the outdoor area after a day of exploring. Beds were comfy and bathrooms had plenty of room which was a nice change from other hotel rooms. The restaurant had very good food and having breakfast included was very convenient.

Ligging perfect, en je krijgt een kaart voor gebruik van de bus die voor het hotel stopt waarmee je richting Grindelwald kan reizen. Voldoende privé parkeerplaatsen met laadpalen voor electrische auto's

The staff was helpful. Also it had a fridge in the kitchen. Clean enough for a shared bathroom.

Hervorragende Lage als Ausgangpunkt für Wanderungen, zudem entgeht man dem Trubel in Grindelwald.

Mooie ruime kamer. Betaalbaar voor de regio. Gratis bus stopt aan het hotel.

Ontbijt was eerder beperkt. Gratis bus rijdt niet zo lang 's avonds.

Flott, stort rom . Veldig god seng. Fantastisk beliggenhet, ca 3,5 km fra Grindelwald. Gratis rutebuss til /fra sentrum , men denne slutter tidlig på kvelden.

Ikke god frokost. Lite variasjon. Den ene morgenen var ikke noe klart, måtte spørre etter det meste. Mye insekter (fluer, men så er jo dette i landbruksområde ! )

ファミリールームを予約しましたが、 お部屋からの景色がとにかく良い！ 私たちの部屋はヴェッターホルンは見えませんでしたが、 青々とした山がとてもよく見えて、良かったです！ 夜は星空が楽しめました。 グリンデルワルド中心地から少し離れていますが、それゆえに楽しめる景色だと思います！

El precio. Era carisima. Personal poco simpatico, especialmente el que parecia el encargado.

Nous avons passés deux nuits dans cet hôtel, et le seul point positif que je notifierai est l’emplacement éloigné du centre de la ville.

La chambre était grande mais les draps froissés, les coussins mous, les serviettes de bains abîmées, le petit déjeuner succinct et le rapport qualité/ prix une honte. Je trouve cet hôtel bien en dessous du prix que nous avons payé.

A vista é muito linda. O hotel fica no pé das montanhas e isso torna a vista inexplicávelmente linda.

Tem uma senhora morena, de cabelos curtos, que fica no hotel no período da tarde/noite. Ela é extremamente rude e grosseira. Levamos um lanche para comer no fim do dia e pedimos autorização para uma funcionária do hotel para comer nas mesas onde é servido o café da manhã. A funcionária nos disse que podíamos comer ali. De repente essa senhora chegou totalmente alterada dizendo que não era permitido comer ali, quando disse que havíamos pedido para comer ali, ela respondeu: “I am the Boss”, ou seja, eu sou a chefe, quem manda sou eu e nos mandou sair dali. A questão não era comer ou não comer ali, mas sim, a forma grosseira como ela falou. Ficamos super constrangidos com ela gritando na frente de todo mundo e dando bronca na gente sem a gente falar com ela no mesmo tom de voz. Era só ter pedido de maneira educada que sairíamos de lá, sem problema algum. Além disso, o café é precário, o ovo é cozido e eles cozinham pouca quantidade, o resultado é que não dá pra quem quer, acaba rápido e a gente tem que ficar esperando cozinhar mais (demora). Ou seja, um hotel que fica em um lugar maravilhoso, a vista do quarto é perfeita, com um atendimento péssimo e um café da manhã regular.

Nice location

There are two things that I thought were negatives. First, the staff was rude. The receptionist was not present at check-in and she had to be summoned from a different part of the property. She seemed immensely, flustered and irritable. The second thing that I didn’t like was that the breakfast buffet was swarming with flies. Literally there were hundreds of flies. The staff covered all of the baked goods with linens and flies were just parked on the linens. The flies were swarming around each table. It was really quite disgusting.

Ohne Auto oder mit dem Bus ist es ein längerer Fußmarsch runter aber mit der Gästekarte ist der Bus gratis.

The breakfast room was flies everywhere, and not enjoying having breakfast with flies going round your food.

Positiv waren das freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal, die riesige Parkfläche und die schöne, ruhige Lage in der Natur.

Das Bett hat bei jeder Bewegung laute Geräusche gemacht; die dicken Decken im Sommer waren ebenfalls nicht besonders angenehm, vor allem da es keine Klimaanlage gab und das Fenster relativ klein war. Ungewöhnlich fand ich die feste Zuordnung der Schlafplätze über Namensschilder. Zwar konnte man den Schlafplatz oder auch das Zimmer bei Möglichkeit wechseln, aber viele hielten sich an die ursprüngliche Einteilung. So kam es beispielsweise vor, dass eine Person am Fenster schlief, dieses nachts aber geschlossen haben wollte. In einem 6-Bettzimmer war das für mich nicht besonders angenehm. Auch das Frühstück war für mich ein großer Kritikpunkt. Die vielen Fliegen waren sehr störend und wirkten unhygienisch, da sie trotz Abdeckungen an die Lebensmittel gelangen konnten. Mir ist außerdem aufgefallen, dass überwiegend Männer dort waren. Da ich nur eine Nacht geblieben bin, kann das natürlich Zufall sein, aber möglicherweise ist die Unterkunft bei Männern etwas beliebter.

Leider fährt der Bus ins Dorf nur bis 19 h. Man kann also nicht ins Dorf zum Abendessen. Zu Fuss ist es Ca. 45 min

Tiene unas vistas impresionantes. Desayunar con el amanecer en las montañas suizas es increíble.

מיקום, מהחדר רואים את הפירסט. חלון ענק לנוף ההרים. א. בוקר בסדר.

אין מעלית. זבובים גם בא. בוקר. היו צריכים לכסות את הלחם והקרואסון כדי שהזבובים לא יכנסו.. המצעים חומים מסוג טריקו. לא נעימים. המיטה נמוכה ומזרון עייף. המגבות ישנות בצבע ירוק כהה אפור.. אין מזגן, קומקום או מקרר בחדר.

Although not in town location is fantastic. Its just outside national park and can go hiking straight away. Probably the cheapest beer i had in CH and was tasting good. Breakfast was good. Helpful staff and great memories. Would come back!

Last bus just after 6pm so have to rush to get 121 bus which is inconvenient. Places outside the town so can't get groceries. Beware since its shared room someone can to snore and disturb sleep!

Stayed here whilst hiking. It was a lovely place with a very nice room. There are also some self catering facilities available which we used to safe some money.

Sehr gute Lage!

Prisvärt hotell med bra restaurang. Vackra omgivningar. Enkel men helt ok frukost. Bra rum med nyrenoverat badrum. Goda bussförbindelser dagtid. Gratis parkering precis utanför.

Personalen i receptionen var inte vänlig. Hotellets övre rum är besvärliga att ta sig upp till, tungt med packning och inget för rörelsehindrade personer. Endast en kudde på rummet

It was peaceful

We were really disappointed with our stay and unfortunately don’t feel it was worth the money. There were so many flies all over the breakfast buffet that it completely put us off eating it. I understand this is part of nature but there was no attempt being made to get rid of the flies at all, other places had fans and incense to minimise them. Even without that, the breakfast selection was very poor for the price charged, so it felt like a waste of money. Another major downside was the location. After 6pm, the bus stops running, making it incredibly difficult to get back to the hotel. We waited a long time for a taxi, and when one finally arrived we had to pay 45 CHF for a journey of no more than 10 minutes. For a hotel that’s so far from the city centre, a shuttle service should really be provided for guests. Overall, we wouldn’t recommend staying here. You’re much better off paying for a hotel in the city centre where you can easily walk to restaurants and attractions without the hassle and expense of finding transport.

A remote location, perfect for getting away from the crowds. Yet, literally on a bus stop. Private parking, including electronic outlet. Amazing view.

Most staff were nice but there was one (older) lady who was very rude during breakfasts. Also, breakfast is very limited in variety. The smallest out of all hotels visited in Switzerland. Although it’s between 7-10, when arrived at 8:30 most of the food was gone (including eggs and soft drinks). No refills were offered. Had to go into town to eat.

Hotel is basic but works well for motor cycle travellers. Lots of shelf space in room for our gear . The bus pass for travel into town was very helpful. Buses run every half hour to bus station and connections to Eiger Express and train station. The restaurant serves decent food. Onsite parking is free
