The staff were so warm and friendly, it's a great location and had a great vibe. Being able to wake up and check the surf right out the front is a dream!

Amazing and friendly staff that will do everything to make your stay a pleasant one! I messede up my booking and instantly they rearranged so I could stay in this little gem. The rooms are fully equipped, pool is great and cleaned everyday and the food is delicious. Portions are huge ! I left fully relaxed and happy. A solid 10 in my book

Die komfortablen Hütten bei Bamboo sind mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Terrasse vor der Hütte lädt zum Verweilen ein und auch der Pool ist sehr angenehm. Das interne Restaurant bietet eine gute Auswahl an Getränken und Speisen. An der Unterkunft kann man auch direkt einen Roller mieten, was wir sehr praktisch fanden. Die direkte Lage zum Strand und Surf Spot hat uns besonders gefallen. Georg und sein Personal sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Einzig die Straße an den Poolhütten ist v.a. in der Früh und am Nachmittag etwas störend, wenn man noch ausschlafen will oder auf der Terrasse entspannt. Aber wirklich nur ein minimaler Kritikpunkt der unseren Aufenthalt bei Bamboo trotzdem in keiner Weise verschlechtert hat!

Tolle Lage direkt am Strand mit Surfmöglichkeiten. Sehr schön angelegter Pool im tropischen Garten. Die Bungalows sind sehr gepflegt mit gemütlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten auf der Terrasse. Kleine leckere Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar. Restaurant vom Bamboo ist auch echt lecker. Georg, der Inhaber, hatte sehr gute Ausflugstipps. Transportmöglichkeiten zuverlässig übers Bamboo buchbar. Sehr nette und immer freundliche Mitarbeiter. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit!

The location (especially the beachfront cottage) is just exceptional. Right in front of a nice surf break when it’s small (didn’t get much swell while there so no idea if it works when bigger) and the view is just incredible. Staff and owner extremely friendly and helpful, facilitated scooter rental for me and tuk tuk transfer to my next accom. Really just a great place in the world to be.

Bamboo felt instantly warm and inviting. The owner was not only welcoming but had a great sense of humour. The room we had exceeded our expectations enough for us to come back a second time to end our trip in Siargao. Highly recommended.

I had a beach front bungalow and couldn't stop admiring the view right outside my front door. Beautiful beach, lots of surfing, sunny skies. perfect. The staff were so polite and eager to help. Meals were good and a good value for the money, and the owner took personal interest in making sure my stay was comfortable. It really made me feel at home, comfortable, and allowed me to relax and enjoy the beautiful island as i intended to.

Not much :) Maybe an espresso machine, but I managed quite well with the coffee in my room.

Amazing truly beach front cabins.

Bamboo Surf Beach is pure paradise! George, the owner, set the tone right away with incredible local tips and a map marking all the best spots to visit. He was an incredible host throughout the entire stay, helping us with surfboard rentals, scooter rentals, and even recommending places to stay at our next destination in General Luna! Lyn and the entire staff were unbelievably attentive and made sure every request was taken care of seamlessly. The hotel itself has everything you could ever need. The villas are beautiful, spotlessly clean, quiet, and have top-notch air conditioning. Having a surf break right out front and free access to a stunning beach - which is rare to find - made the location unbeatable. It’s the perfect mix of quiet, relaxing, and fun. Plus, the food was delicious and clean, and the drinks were phenomenal! I’m already planning my trip back. 10/10!

It was not worth 4000 pesos more like 2500. We got the room next to the road so noisey when a truck goes past. TBH I only paid 4k to get money back from booking.

Right on the beach with fun, uncrowded waves out the front. A short walk to the cafes. Perfect location! Pool was excellent and the rooms were so beautiful and immaculate.

Bamboo is an amazing place to stay. The owners are generous, helpful, and welcoming, while the staff are well-trained and attentive. The cottages are exactly as described. The pool is well-maintained and a true blessing during the hot summer months. Beach front access is a huge plus! The food and drinks are tasty, too. It was a perfect stay, 10/10!

Great beachfront location with beautiful views from our beachfront room. The pool is located across the road from the beach and restaurant area but was still a nice place to relax. The staff were lovely and friendly throughout our stay. There were a few menu items unavailable during our visit due to supply shortages, but there are plenty of good restaurants within easy walking distance, including options next door and further up the road. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

We would have loved to enjoy the restaurant more but they closed early.

The staff didn’t return the 500php for the motorcycle rental, we paid it in cash but they still charged us 9 On the check out bill.

The Pool water looked milky to us

Fantastic location right on the beach. The pool is heavenly. The villas are magnificent, well decorated, spacious and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Every villa has a hammock which was such a joy. And the beach side villas had a complete lawn for ourselves right on the ocean, with stars and fireflies at night. We loved everything and can't wait to come back! Oh and they have local draft beer, which is a rarity!

Tolle Lage, sehr sauber - super Service !

Bamboo was the perfect home base in northern Siargao. Our room was clean, well-appointed, and just steps away from the pool, beach, and surfing. The food, especially the carbonara, was delicious. We liked it so much we extended our stay and booked the beachfront villa. The Bamboo team (especially Gly and Lyn) were so lovely, kind, and helpful. George and MJ have done an incredible job and we can’t wait to visit again.

Nos ha encantado alojarnos en el bamboo. Una calle tranquila, cerca de pacífico beach, personal atento, siempre a disposición. Habitaciones grandes y limpias y enfrente de la playa.

El mejor hotel en siargao. Nos gustó tanto, que repetimos. Ubicación ideal en la playa, personal muy simpático y de esta muy agusto y tranquilo. Las habitaciones son cabañas, todo muy limpio y equipado, y con zonas de relax en la parte de fuera donde descansar. Una piscina muy bonita y entorno paradisíaco.

Nos gustó mucho la ubicación, tiene acceso directo a la playa. La habitación tiene todo lo que necesitas para estar cómoda, es muy funcional. Tambíen estaba muy limpio y hay champú, acondicionador, gel en el baño y además toallas para la piscina. Además, tanto el dueño como el personal son super amables y están atentos a que no falte de nada.

Ein Paradies im Norden von Siargao! Schöne und ruhige Lage, aber auch gut angebunden an mehrere Restaurants und Surfschulen in der Umgebung. Die Anlage / Zimmer sind gepflegt, das Personal freundlich - es passt einfach Alles. Für uns der schönste Aufenthalt auf Siargao – wir kommen gerne wieder!

We chose this hotel as a family after considering many options, but upon arrival, we were surprised to find that they didn't even provide a copy of our passports, and perhaps they didn't have any Accommodation list ,they asked us to write our names on a drink order form. The reception was also very perfunctory and our excitement from Japan quickly vanished. We understand that there might be a shortage of electricity in this area. but there was no explanation during the check-in. The air conditioner wasn't working well, and when we asked about it, all we were told was to unplug it and plug it back in. We wanted to move hotels from the very first day. We were told we could swim in the pool if we didn't mind it being completely dark, and we also wanted to take surf lessons, so we messaged them before arriving, but they told us to just ask on the street. Their hospitality was severely lacking. The next day, even though we had told them we wanted to eat at the restaurant, they had rented out the restaurant for the owner's wife's birthday party with his family and friends, showing absolutely no consideration for the guests. They had the restaurant completely dark and were playing loud music during the party. We had to pass through there to get to our room, which was very unpleasant. I met the owner, but it seems we have different values. There was no gratitude or apology towards the guests, and they were simply enjoying their day. Guests pay for their accommodation. They should hold their birthday parties at their own homes. Alternatively, they should at least say a word to guests and properly train their staff, otherwise guests will be disappointed. If you're staying at a seaside inn, you can get a more satisfying trip with better service and views of the stars and the sea, even at a lower price.

Great location - two beautiful beach front cabins and then right accross the street more, surrounding the pristine pool. The compound is very clean and in much better condition than comparable properties. Loved the small touches- really nice in room power coffee variety, nice pool towels, umbrella and - a lovely hanging chair on the veranda. Really, just sit back and relax. We were received with true hospitality, even helping us organize massages in room, which by the way were great

Possibly the only negative comment to offer for those looking, is that the kitchen runs - like most other hotel eateries on Siargao, on island time. I suggest you lay back, enjoy the lush garden view and don‘t mind that your orders trickle in 😁

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit im Bamboo surf. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und wunderschön, in der Nacht hörte man kaum etwas von der Strasse sodass wir sehr gut geschlafen haben. Das Personal sowie der Owner waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist top und direkt am Surfspot.

Momentan gibt es eine Baustelle neben dem Bamboo. Da wird tagsüber etwas gehämmert und geborrt was uns aber nicht gross störte da wir sowieso früh wach waren um zu surfen.

The beachfront cabin was amazing for my stay. Great views, a small "yard", hammock, and just enough privacy without being closed off. The food and beer from the restaurant was delicious and most of all the staff was all extremely friendly and helpful. Its no five star luxury hotel but I came expecting a small island cabin vibe and it was perfect for me.

The staff mentioned the occasional power outages (backed up by the hotel generator) which would lead to the AC unit turning off and needing to be manually reset. I did wake up hot a few times. The mattress is a little thin/firm for people expecting more cushion.

In front of a beautiful beach and with a pool too

Bamboo Surf Beach liegt im Norden Siargaos. Es ist wunderbar gelegen schön weg vom Trubel. Das ganze Personal ist so herzlich gastfreundlich. Ich wollte gar nicht weggehen. Mit dem Besitzer (mega cooler Mann) haben wir abgemacht, dass ich wiederkommen werde.

Loved the pool and location

Wunderschöne Aussicht und äußerst freundliches Personal. Ideal zum Surfen, man kann direkt gegenüber Surfbretter ausleihen und mit dem Roller ist man auch schnell im Norden. Das Bad ist ein Traum, es hat heisses Wasser, was sonst eher selten ist. Der Besitzer ist auch immer für einen netten Plausch zu haben :)

Am Ende unserer Philippinen-Reise hatten wir einige Tage im tollen Bamboo Surf Beach Resort, in einem der wunderschön angelegten, voll ausgestatteten Strand-Bungalows, verbracht. Der Bungalow liegt direkt am privaten Sandstrand und wir konnten jeden Morgen von unserer Terrasse aus, den Sonnenaufgang genießen. Perfekt, wenn man sich entspannen, surfen und dem Trubel von „General Luna“ entfliehen möchte. Das Essen im Open-Air-Restaurant mit kleiner Bar war ausgezeichnet (besonders das Mango-Hühnchen-Curry) und Lyn und ihr Team haben uns bestens umsorgt - danke ! Wir möchten nochmals die außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft, welche uns hier entgegengebracht wurde, hervorheben ! Besonders Georg, der Eigentümer, mit dem wir interessante und spannende Gespräche (mit einigen Bieren) geführt hatten, ist uns ein lieber Freund geworden und hat uns obendrein uneigennützig zum Flughafen gebracht ! Unser Fazit: Ein absolutes Juwel – jeden Peso wert! Vielen Dank für die wunderschöne Erfahrung und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen !

We stayed here as a mother and daughter. The reception staff, Gulai and Ting, were very kind and smiling. They were very helpful and gave us detailed information about surfing, transportation, and restaurant recommendations. The surfing was great and the timing was perfect. I want to come again!

Quel magnifique endroit .. nous avions réservé la chambre donnant sur la plage et l’océan et nous avons été plus que ravis de notre choix. S’endormir et se réveiller au bruit des vagues. Le personnel est au petit soin. Nous avons seulement pris les petits déjeuners et ils étaient excellents ! N’hésitez surtout pas à réserver ! Vous ne serez pas déçus 😁

Fabulous beach resort, very welcoming, with an amazing team, that made our stay so enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble booking transport, organising tours, recommending restaurants. The owner George , went out of his way to check we were all enjoying our holiday. The pool was pristine and the facilities were great with outside chairs and beds to chill on. As well as a lovely room. Huge + was the Excellent WiFi

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet hôtel, qui présente de nombreux avantages. C’est un hôtel à taille humaine, où l’on a vraiment l’impression d’être à la maison. Il est situé en face d’une magnifique plage, calme et authentique, loin du tourisme de masse. Nous avons même pu faire du surf avec les enfants juste devant l’hôtel. La piscine est très agréable pour se rafraîchir et se détendre, et nos deux jolies villas se trouvaient juste en face. La salle de bain est très grande et nous avons particulièrement apprécié les petites attentions, comme les fleurs en décoration à notre arrivée. La décoration de l’hôtel est de très bon goût et le cadre est verdoyant. La nourriture est délicieuse, faite maison, bravo au chef cuisinier ! Georges, le patron, est aux petits soins et toujours présent pour s’assurer que tout se passe bien. Bref; on recommande à 200%.

Bamboo surf is an excellent place for surfers and beachgoers. The rooms are very clean and they provide everything you need toiletries wise and the location is phenomenal & the food at the bar is so good it had me coming back every day. Second time staying at Bamboo Surf Beach, two years after my first visit here. Right from the moment I arrived, I felt that I had come “back home”. It is hard to give a review of this beautiful place without writing a novel. The facilities are in mint condition, the sincere hospitality you receive here is truly unmatched, and the overall vibe of the place makes you never want to leave! Bamboo is a perfect resort and location to stay if you want to get into surfing or if you are already an intermediate or advanced surfer looking for easy access to more uncrowded surf spots here in North Siargao. Also for non-surfers, it’s a perfect place to relax and explore the northern parts of the island. Thanks to George and his whole team for the great times once again.

The location is absolutely perfect, and the entire team is both incredibly kind and highly professional. The food was delicious, and we had such a relaxing time by the pool and on the beautifully maintained private beach. Everything felt calm, cared for, and thoughtfully done. Our room had everything we needed, and we felt completely at home. We would happily stay here again and cannot recommend Bamboo enough

Alles ist wie gewünscht entspannt abgelaufen. Die Häuschen sind gut gebaut und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Die Bilder entsprechen der Realität. Auf der Terrasse kann man sehr entspannt sitzen oder liegen und die Ruhe genießen. Gegen Mücken ist ebenfalls vorgesorgt – es gibt einen Fumigator (den habe ich leider erst bei der Abreise entdeckt). Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Also war hier jetzt schon zum 2 Mal. Georg und sein Team sind einfach super, egal ob es um Ausflüge, Geld wechseln, Roller oder auch Arzneimittel geht. Essen spitze!!! Für mich das beste Restaurant am ganzen Strand, Portionen sehr groß. Komme bestimmt wieder ;).

The property was in the perfect location the rooms were ever clean has been my favourite place I’ve stayed in by a mile! And the staff were incredible and helpful at all hours off the day!
