We left as soon as we could make other arrangements. The place is empty. The 'restaurant' serves stale food, we survived on scrambled eggs we requested.. The 'family suite' is a regular room with a bunk bed stuffed against a wall. It is a dorm like building.-Across the Road- from the beach. The beach has no other vacationers, it is sharp, alge fulled. There is no town nearby, no tourist stores and no telephone service It seems they make money with misleading photos and bad descriptions.... then they enforce a no-refund policy. No matter how much you pay.... you will have overpaid.

Une plage déserte rien que pour nous, les logements ne sont pas récents mais bien propres et confortables. Privilégier celui face a la mer. Le restaurant est de bon rapport qualité prix. L équipe du staff est super merci encore a eux!

Le bruit de la climatisation dans le logement côté route mais ils nous ont prêté un ventilateur. Sinon le lieu est exceptionnel ! Et avec un scooter vous pourrez profiter à fond de l île

C'est idnamissible de louer une chambre à des clients avec une odeur de moisissure et une peinture vient d'être faite pour cacher la misère. C'était irrespirable. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre, mais celle proposé avait exactement la même odeur. On a du aérer toute la journée mais l'odeur est incrusté dans les murs. Pour la salle de bain c'est pire, c'est une odeur de remonté d'égouts. On ne voulait pas rester tellement qu'on était dégouté de cette endroit. Mais pour ne pas perdre de l'argent on est resté... on a très peu dormi. Vu la note de cet hôtel je m'attendais à quelque chose de bien, mais là je dois dire que le propriétaire doit agir. De plus la wifi ne fonctionne pas, même avec le boîtier qu'ils ont mis après notre plainte.

Fijne kamer, 5 bedden met goede matrassen, warme fijne douche, airco werkt goed, goede wifi. Aardig personeel, restaurant met lekker eten, waanzinnig mooi strand en zee bij het hotel, Scooter service, wasservice, taxi service alles voor goede prijzen. Heerlijk in de rust We hebben genoten van ons verblijf!

Niets alles was goed. Wat kleine tipjes: - we zijn 4 nachten gebleven. Wellicht een keer aanbieden om schone handdoeken te wisselen en het afvalzakje in de badkamer te legen. - in de gezamelijke ruimte zou een led muggenlamp niet misstaan

Was quiet place .. out of the way on the main road , about 2 hours by scooter to General Luna

When ordering our food ..one dish would come and 15 maybe 20 minutes later another dish would come .. they need to learn about timing when cooking meals

We were upgraded to a family room which was awesome. The rooms are really well equipped with plenty of toiletries, towels etc. Power stayed on the whole time! Nice quiet spot with a nice bar just over the road ran by the same family! Would return again. Thank you

Se ti piace una posizione tranquilla, questo fa al caso vostro. Un’abitazione di fronte al mare comoda e spaziosa. Di fianco c’è un ristorante, con proprietari molto gentili, e la cittadina di Pacifico non è lontana . Per me è stato un soggiorno perfetto.

まずは感謝します、セブからの飛行機が2回欠航となり快く対応してくれました。立地は期待以上に素敵でした、到着して直ぐ海で泳ぎました、綺麗な水、白い砂浜、人は殆ど居なくて、静かにリラックスできました、夜になると、蛍が沢山居ました。

Most rooms are on the other side of the road …but it’s just a short walk and the road is quiet.

The location is idyllic! Gorgeous white coral sand beach with palm trees and no one around! The team were so welcoming and kind and able to help with scooter rental. The restaurant food and setting were fantastic - being able to watch the ocean at breakfast was a joy. The room itself is very basic and a little damp, but still highly recommend as the location, restaurant area and team were truly great. Pacifico itself is so nice, way more laidback than GL, nice people, cool vibe, good surf and superb beaches and scenery.

Great location if you want some quiet time (10 min car ride from Pacifico). Staff was very helpful and friendly.

De plek is fantastisch mooi! Restaurant is een goede aanvulling op het verblijf. De kamer was schoon en netjes en we hadden een kamer met een heerlijke bank en bed. Uitzicht was fenomenaal. Zou er weer verblijven!

I highly recommend staying here if you're planning to visit Pacifico. It's right in front of the beach. Make sure to go snorkeling during low tide—the corals are stunning! We saw plenty of clownfish (Nemo!), a variety of other fish, and even a seahorse 😍😍. The staff are very accommodating and will take care of everything you need. The food is also delicious—fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth trying!

Tranquil location. When we were there, we barely saw other visitors, so the whole beach was just for us. Food at the local restaurant was good, though a bit pricey compared to some other places. All with a good view of white sand beach. Owner is a great guy, who was very accomodating and helpful. He clearly takes his business seriously and invested in the energy generators and batteries, that ensured the brownouts that are frequent in Siargao are not affecting your stay at the hotel. There are bikes for rent, snorkeling equipment to buy - all in all exactly what I was looking for.

Away from the busy street and close to the surf spots. Has a great and brand new clean restaurant on the beach with free pool and a beautiful view.

One of the nicest accommodations I’ve ever stayed at! Booked the dorm for me and two friends and was private and so so comfortable! Everything was really clean and well kept and the staff were so friendly and lovely! The best place to stay in Pacifico area :))

I stayed one night. The staff was very accommodating, especially when we had to leave our bags early. Conveniently located across the street to a pretty restaurant with some great food! Highly recommended 👌

The cold and fresh welcome drink was exactly what I needed after a long warm day. The staff were amazing!

The beach villa was fantastic, it was right on the beach and we had direct access to the sea from our veranda. Everything was very clean and the room was spacious. The staff were super friendly! They also have a brand new restaurant right next door. We didn't get a chance to try it, but it's definitely a big plus if you want a decent dinner close to where you're staying. We were here for the surf and the location is perfect, close to Pacifico in the south and just a short scooter ride to Burgos and the other spots up north. We would definitely return.

Balcony with sea views

Construction work right next to the house with noise and workers looking into the balcony. When we met the host, after saying hi, the next thing he said is that if we bring more people we need to pay extra. and if we brought a pet we can't check in. Thats was our greeting which didn't give us good feelings. We did ask to bring a pet but got refused, that is reasonable but notable. Finally, there was power break almost the whole weekend. the owner house across the road had power and we had nothing. Maybe sparing some power for essentials (without ac or hot water) would not be a big problem and a lot more accommodating and decent.

White Sands gave me the comfort, peace and tranquility I was looking for. Really enjoyed the comfy bed and aircon, clean room, and hot shower with lots of pressure. An added bonus is the location - adjacent to a sandy beach like soft sugar, a perfect place for a late afternoon swim in crystal blue water. Will be back!

The hotel is situated in a nice area of Siargao, where it is not so crowded and where there are nice beaches. The room was clean and staff and owner/family were friendly. The bar at the beach front was under construction during our stay unfortunately, but it is expected to be finished very soon.

we were a bit unlucky with the timing, as there were voltage drops over night and the fuse for the aircon blew out all the time at night. Might easily be fixed, I think and might thus not concern other guests.

Alan is a wonderful host. he is helpful and all the staff as well. The room and the common areas are clean and tidy. I highly recommend whitesands. Thanks for everything.

We had an amazing experience at Whitesands Beach Resort, and much of it is thanks to the incredible hospitality of the host, a charming and handsome Englishman. We made a mistake with our booking dates, and what could have been a stressful situation turned into a seamless experience because of his help. He went above and beyond to resolve the issue quickly and ensured that we were comfortably accommodated without any hassle. The resort itself is a beautiful escape—pristine beaches, peaceful surroundings, and cozy rooms. But what truly sets it apart is the level of personal care and attention from the host. He not only helped us with our booking mishap but also gave fantastic local recommendations, making sure we got the most out of our stay. If you're looking for a resort with stunning views and outstanding service, Whitesands Beach Resort is the perfect choice. We are incredibly grateful for the host's kindness and can't wait to return!

Rooms are very comfortable, hot and cold water, good pressure, and good beds. There is a beautiful beach in front.

Breakfast and coffee can be improved. But there is coffee shops and places for breakfast near by.

Beautiful property, Alan was very accommodating and gave me a ride into town. I can not wait to come back when the restaurant is open again. They are rebuilding after a storm.

Had a nice peaceful stay away from the busy main tourist part of island, was comfortable with air con and free WiFi. The hosts were very accommodating organising transport to explore the island and even though the bar is under construction was able to order food for room service at a reasonable price, the best part was the beach was lovely to swim in.

We will definitely come back again and look forward to seeing the bar when finished.

We stayed in a room right on the beach, where we could swim in the warm water until it got dark. The views were breathtaking, and the sunsets were unforgettable. The owner of the hotel was amazing, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to help with any request. The on-site restaurant served delicious local cuisine, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. We can't wait to return!"

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel, and our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Every meal was delivered to our balcony, allowing us to dine while overlooking the sea and listening to the soothing sounds of the waves. It was a truly relaxing and memorable experience. Alan, the owner of the hotel, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He checked on us every day to ensure we were okay and even offered us lifts whenever we needed. On our departure day, Alan kindly drove us back to the ferry, refusing to accept any payment for petrol. His generosity and friendliness made our holiday even more special, and we now consider him a new friend. The location itself is perfect for a peaceful holiday. The serene environment and beautiful views make it a destination we hope to return to year after year. Traveling from the UK was straightforward, with a flight from London to Manila followed by a connecting flight to the island. A big thank you to Alan and all the amazing staff for making our stay unforgettable. We can't wait to come back

Location was good, and the owner was friendly.

It was dirty inside and out. It looked like a savage yard or a dump surrounding our beach cottage. You had to walk carefully as to not to step on something or trip due to all the different debris laying around. Also the owner had his construction guys mixing cement with a gas powered mixer to 11:10pm 12ft from our cottage. The AC unit never worked, it would only blow warm or hot air. So much garbage everywhere. We left a day early just to get some comfortable sleep. Never stayed in such a dive.

The air-conditioning was broken. The property is not beachfront as it is seen in the pictures. Overall the worst stay I had in years. Construction on going in front so the noise at night is unbearable

Owner of the resort was very helpful personality. Helped every time when I was needed. Restaurant facility is under construction and soon will be ready. Overall location and resort is at calm place and before the sea. Nice place to stay for solo and couples. Special to mention that owner drop me from his car to port without accepting any money from me.

Got room #5 with 2 beds. Large, very new, bright and comfortable room. We love the firm beds. Water boiler in room. Very new property so everything is new. Powerful and brand new aircon so it cools the room in no time. Great owner. He lives on the 2nd floor and lets us have the privacy. We basically had the whole place to ourselves as there were no other guests that day. Nice and spacious living room for all guests to use. We were the only guests at the beach and that was great. Walk cross the street and their bar which is being built and the beach is there. Beach water is clear and clean. I don’t know why there’s no option to post photos with this review. I forgot to wave goodbye to the owner. When I was on the back of the rented scooter, I turned my head and saw the owner stood there on the staircase sending us off.

Sea water has many weeds/grasses and there are several small white cute creatures in the water who bite. Doesn’t leave a mark on my skin though so it is ok. I walk into the sea for 2 meters and water is deep. I still enjoy very much being there. The water heater in room #5 is not new and shower head doesn’t work properly. The owner immediately called someone to fix. My husband opened it to wash the next day as it got stuck again. Electricity was having a problem so aircon didn’t work for a few hours until late in the night. We still can sleep as the room has nice and new mosquito nets at the window and toilet window. Wifi didn’t work most of the time and my mobile wifi didn’t work too. The signal in this area is not good yet. I could relax without using the internet but we needed to check the maps and planned our travels to other islands.
