The property was very clean and easy access for the most part to the train station with a few minute walk.

We were put in the smallest room, but it was not a problem as you might want to ask for a room with a view.

Excellent breakfast, views of the Eiger over breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean rooms. Good parking. Good location. Even edelweiss on the tables. Highly recommend. We plan to return.

Das Personal war stets super freundlich und das Frühstück sehr sehr lecker! Es gab zb täglich Bircher Müsli mit wirklich frischen Beeren und selbst geschnippelten Obstsalat (nicht wie sonst aus der Dose). Auch Kaffee und Cappuccino fanden wir sehr lecker, besser als in manchen Cafés. Die Lage im Ort ist super, der Blick vom Frühstücksraum auf den Eiger der Hammer.

Wir hatten zuerst ein Basic Zweibettzimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad gebucht. Das Zimmer an sich war okay, Bad und Toiletten auch. Was uns aber leider sehr gestört hat, war das sehr kleine Dachfenster im Zimmer und dass dadurch ein lüften fast unmöglich war. Scheinbar hatten sich Zimmer und Haus durch die Tage vor unserem Aufenthalt so sehr aufgeheizt. Nach einer sehr schlechten ersten Nacht haben wir zum Glück auf ein Zimmer im Nebenhaus (DZ Eiger mit Balkon) umbuchen können. Das Zimmer war top! Das zuerst gebuchte Zimmer würden wir daher eher für den Frühling oder Herbst empfehlen (oder wenn man bzgl lüften nicht so empfindlich ist wie ich es bin...).

Was mir diesesmal aufgefallen ist (falls früher schon, hatte ich es wohl vergessen): Es gibt unten im Erdgeschoss, links, einen Raum mit Wasserkocher, Wasser, Tassen und Gläsern. Diesmal habe ich sogar von dem Reis mit Soja-Sauce zum Frühstück probiert; gar nicht schlecht!

Leider hatte ich wieder ein dunkles Zimmer zur dichtbewachsenen, steilen Böschung zum Nachbarhotel hinauf, aber ungemütlich ist das eigentlich auch nicht.

Location is easy walk to main village centre , terrace looks straight out to the Eiger mountain and is ideal for a nice evening drink , staff were brilliant and helpfull , all in all a great place to stay

隔音不好，躺床上总是能听到楼上隔壁的动静 浴室比较简陋 没有guest kitchen，必须点东西才能在餐厅吃

가성비, 맛있는 조식, 조식 식당 뷰, 역에서 멀지않은 위치, 걸어가도 부담없고 정류장이 가까워 버스로 이동해도 좋음, 외부 욕실이었지만 깔끔하고 이용에 문제없었음

선풍기가 있었고 그린델발트가 밤에는 선선해서 밖은 시원한데 우리 방은 베이직 이코노미라 창문이 없어서 후덥지근 했어요. 그래서 방문을 열어놓으니 시원해서 아예 열고 잤어요. 복도에서 ㄱ자로 꺽어지게 문이 있어 큰 문제는 없었어요. 여름에는 문열고 생활할 수 있거나 더위 안타는 분들만 이용하셔야 할 듯, 세탁기도 셀프로 이용할 수 있는데 이용시간은 9시까지지만 세탁 건조하는데 2시간은 걸리니 7시 전에 시작하셔야하고 5프랑 동전이 있어야합니다. 작동은 쉬워요.

位置优越，风景优美。卫生还可以，但不知道为什么房间里如果不开窗，就有一股奇怪的味道。开窗的话，苍蝇巨多。还可以自己烧热水，这对我来说太重要，因为我要吃泡面，唯一能吃到的美食。

Really great price quality ratio for grindelwald. Great location a few min away from the train station. Room was small but had everything needed. I especially liked the touch of having a bathrobe to comfortably walk around to the shared toilets. Luggage storage and staff who were willing to help!

On one occasion the shower was not so clean but I guess I got unlucky, the other times it was fine. Room was also stuffy even though they kindly provided a fan upon request

The Preis was good for the room. The staff were very friendly and polite. The breakfast was delicious

I did stay one night, breakfast was good, organized, staff was great and cleaned. My room was super hot, very basic . This place needs maintenance, needs to be painting walls , more outlets, more safety signs as well. 3rd floor with baggage was lil bit hard. Needs a sign on step close to room.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, practical, close to train station (5min by walk) and village center (10min). Staff is very helpful, good breakfast

La ubicación del hotel es muy buena. Las vistas desde la entrada son espectaculares.

La habitación era diminuta y estaba en una tercera planta sin ascensor. Las duchas estaban en una planta más abajo, aunque el váter estaba en la misma planta. Las instalaciones eran, en general, algo precarias. La habitación solo tenía una ventana en el techo, era pequeña y estaba algo descuidada. No disponía de armario; aunque hay dos armarios en la habitación, no los pudimos abrir ya que tienen muebles bloqueando las puertas. El desayuno estuvo bien, aunque eché de menos algo más de variedad.

We were upgraded free of charge from a basic room to a room with a mountain view in a separate building of the same hotel. The view was magnificent. The room was comfortable .Helpful and accommodating staff. Could leave the luggage even after checking while exploring the mountains. Good breakfast which is served in a sunny cheerful room with a good view. The location is close to the station and the main bus stop. Can take a very short bus ride to the Grindelwald first cable car station.

Didn't have a kettle . Had access to a hot water station in the main building. Adding an electric kettle to the room so that guests can enjoy some hot tea inside the comfort of the room while enjoying the view would really be a nice addition and I feel that is not a big stretch to this hotel and is expected in a regular hotel room.

Gostei bastante, fica pertinho da estação de trem, ônibus passa quase na porta do hotel. O banheiro compartilhado sempre limpinho, tem uma pia no quarto o que facilita bastante. Café da manhã bom, com muitas opções. O hotel disponibiliza um cartão para ter descontos nas atrações da região e transporte da região também. Tem secador de cabelo, cama confortável, e fiquei com vista para a montanha, vista perfeita. Recomendo.

Die Lage , Frühstück und Personal alle waren perfekt 👌 Ich empfehle auf jedem Fall 😊

Die Lage war ideal um schnell in den Kern Grindelwalds zu gelangen oder eben auch um zu Fuß zu den Bergbahnen zu gehen. Der Rezeptionist war bei meiner Ankunft sehr freundlich und hat alles ausführlich erklärt. Das Bett war etwas durch und ich würde empfehlen Ohropax mitzunehmen. Ich vergaß meine leider. Es ist relativ hellhörig. Ich konnte so gut wie jedes Wort meiner Zimmernachbarn verstehen. Auch wenn oben dran jemand die Tür "zumacht" (oft geknallt , aber dafür kann die Unterkunft nichts), spürt man es. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und mit dem Nötigste ausgestattet. Für die Lage den Service und dem einfachen, aber reichlichen Frühstück ist der Preis unschlagbar. Ich würde definitiv wiederkommen.

About a 7min walk downhill from the train station. Fantastic view of the alps, not necessarily from your room tho. Rooms are good size, very quaint, but floorboards are all wooden, so could get squeaky when you walk around, may want to consider that if you’re a light sleeper. Showers/toilets were well kept, fantastic water pressure, hairdryer and sink in the room was definitely a plus. Breakfast was decent. Staff were helpful but not particularly passionate. I had asked about the combo tickets for First, the receptionist was helpful in helping me check the prices, but could’ve reminded me that combo tickets do have the possibility of selling out hence best to purchase them as early as possible. I asked about recommendations for nearby places of interest, he shrugged and said it’s really up to what I want to see: able to give me directions, but not local recommendations.

Squeaky floorboards could be a problem if you’re a light sleeper. Bed was too soft but some people may like it.

Brilliant location for both the town centre and access to sights a little further away - within walking distance, but also very close to the train station if needed. Room exceeded our expectations - thank you! Comfy bed and clean room. Breakfast was also lovely - lots on offer and a great selection.

Limpeza e simpatia

Me surpreendi positivamente em tudo. Localidade perfeita, perto do centrinho, estação de metrô. Conforto. Os funcionários super atenciosos, conseguimos nos comunicar bem com todos eles. Café da manhã diverso e gostoso. A hospedagem ganhou tanto meu coração, que seria capaz de morar nela. Voltarei sem dúvidas.
