It's easy to find, but hard to get to by foot. Pretty steep roads that u feel that u are climbing. Other than that it's perfectly good.

I wanted to have a cup of tea in the evening and they wanted to charge $3.50 CHF. In my opinion tea should be free. Plus they have signs posted to make sure no food is taken out of the dining area.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Meine Erfahrung nach 10 Tagen und Nächten: Total empfehlenswert für alle, die in einem "echten" Schweizer Chalet übernachten und von hier aus zu Fuss* die wunderschöne Region erkunden wollen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das äusserst freundliche Gastgeberteam, die Sauberkeit des Hauses und die entspannte Stimmung insgesamt. Trotz häufiger Wechsel - die meisten Gäste bleiben nur ein oder zwei Nächte - kommt keine Hektik auf. Bezaubernd ist der Blick auf die Wetterhornkette, die Gletscherzunge des Ischmeer, die Eigernordwand und die Kleine Scheidegg - auf der Terrasse kann man sich (nie) sattsehen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig, die Speisen von hoher Qualität und auch in zeitlicher Hinsicht grosszügig (6:00-9:30 Uhr). Das Abendessen ist begleitet von einer grossen Auswahl von Salaten.
Eine Ausstattung der Schlafplätze mit Steckdosen (220V + USB) wäre wünschenswert - das ist aber Nebensache; es gibt genug Steckdosen im Zimmer.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026My first hostel experience and this hostel set my standards high. The rooms were clean,the breakfast was really nice and many options, the staff was warm and welcoming. I arrived around late at 11pm in the night , but Julian had done the needful and I got my keys and necessary info. And the views from the hostel is dammmmmm. Totally worth it. Strongly recommend booking this place.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026入住的用餐區有室外跟室內，室外的景觀非常棒，可以看見群山，這裡氣溫也很舒服，夏天也完全不熱。 早餐很豐盛，有雞蛋、麵包、水果、優格、果醬、起司、火腿、小黃瓜、牛奶，但是有些數量有限，拿完就不再供應，可以早點去吃早餐。 公共空間有微波爐跟冰箱。 四人房內有一個洗手台，女生盥洗室有兩間廁所、三個洗手台和兩間浴室，數量還算足夠，都沒遇到排隊。
需要自己撲床套跟床單，房間內沒有可上鎖的置物櫃。 陽台跟其他房間是共用的，如果別的房間的室友在陽台大聲聊天，會互相影響到各房間。 浴室的燈跟蓮蓬頭都是一段時間就會關閉，需要重複按壓開啟，沒看到有吹風機。 入住位置不靠公車真的很難抵達，偏偏公車半小時一般，末班車是18：44，但是夏天不太會這麼早回來，但這個位置自己爬坡30分鐘還會到，拖行李是絕對不可能，光看到那個坡就會選擇放棄，夢幻山坡用爬的是真的夢幻。 雖然有免費寄放行李(需要兩瑞士法郎當押金)，但是住宿位置真的太遠，也不太可能特地回來拿。

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026The hotel location was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. There were lots of places to sit and relax in the hostel as well as very walkable. The facilities were very clean as well.
The beds were not very comfortable and the lockers were paid only, which is not a problem normally but I had no cash on me. We also had terrible roommates who never closed the door and talked nonstop but that is not the hostel's fault.

A kettle and microwave is available to use any time as well. They provide a guest card to use the local bus line; 10min bus to town, 20 min walk (steep). Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Lots of out door seating available to just sit and look at the mountains!
