The staff are always friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for beach and bench fun.

staff were wonderful... we were there because of evacuation for wildfire... we were very stressed and they treated us very well...It is an older facility with no breakfast however it is across the street from the lake.

breakfast would have been nice but not a deal breaker.

The staff were phenomenal, friendly and prompt! Everything was very organized, clean, stocked and we had very quick responses on emails before our stay. From some of the reviews I read before we stayed kind of worried me, but staying 3 nights there - I don’t know how someone could leave a bad review! We were very happy with our room, location and the pool was great! They have everything you need in your room and we will definitely be coming back!! Thank you for the great service and exceptionally clean, cozy room!

Every thing was excellent, but the older I get the harder the stairs are.

Every thing, was great I liked the comfort of the bed, I head a great sleep, the shower head in the tub could have bean a little better. I would definitely recommend your hotel to others.

Great location, availability easy check in and check out, room had everything I needed for one night. Good that it had a full kitchen even though I didn't really use it.

Suggestion: If the property owns the gravel/dirt parking the the back, they should consider cleaning it up/paving it etc. It doesn't look very nice, clean/safe to park or walk around there. If the property doesn't own it and they don't have control over it then disregard this comment. :)

The property had a great indoor pool and barbeque area.

We were not giving the room that we had booked and confirmed with the hotel. We needed a wheelchair accessible room which we had booked and the hotel booked it to somebody else and put us in a non-accessible room without any discount.

Cleanliness was subpar at best. First noticed the huge spider and two big spider webs above the main window. Then while trying to have a shower noticed the spider webs around the window in bathroom. That window sill had not been cleaned in a while. Did not enjoy the water temperature changing continuously while showering. First you are scalded next it was freezing. Super dangerous for young kids. Was not impressed when folding out the sofa bed, it was very apparent the sheets had not been changed from the last guest. When asking for clean sheets was told “It happens”…. Both mattress and sofa bed were so hard I had to get an alternative mattress to sleep for the rest of our stay. Wished they had entry mats and broom available to sweep myself. Being that close to beach you are bound to track back sand. Just didn’t enjoy having to constantly walk on it in room. Literally damped a cloth to run across the floor so it wasn’t so bad.

Staff are nice ,fresh towels was refilled everyday. The staff that checked us in the was nice and friendly and accommodating. (Felt bad that I forgot her name.) She gave us a nice parking spot and really appreciated it since my husband is handicap.we will surely book in this hotel when ever we are going to penticton.

The stove was old and sometimes its not working. Some cutlery was rusted, knife was dull and sponge should be change every time new guest came in.

First of all this is amoral not hotel on your website it says it’s hotel with four levels and I choose the fourth floor but in realty it was only two floors one of the staff was nice

Love the access to the beach! Quieter part of the beach. Staff were very accommodating.

The swimming pool is cold. The kids are looking forward to that but my 6 yr old and 5 yr old were so cold therefore couldn’t enjoy the swimming experience.

The value, location, and people that check in make it so comfortable along with all the staff we have met are exceptional. This is our fourth time there and will be coming back next year as well. I enjoy the pool a lot too. I go in it everyday I’m there. Thank you Maria

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. It was absolutely perfect for us. And my partner also enjoyed it all as well. Nothing much else to say truly nothing negative.

It’s dated and a bit pricey

they gave my room to someone else. The girl we were dealing with said the other guy did it but it was her writing that crossed out my name and wrote in another name. took them 1/2 hr but they did give us another room. However the people that were below and beside us (a large group, many rooms) decided to party until 1 am in the parking lot andthe night staff did nothing to tell them to be quiet.

AIR CONDITIONER Worked amazing!

The water pressure was weird in the shower. Would randomly go hot and then cold and the hair dryer was not working as intended like it was shorting a circuit

Location is amazing. Close to beach and restaurants. Easy walk to food and drinks. Beds are small but comfortable.

Could use a spruce in some rooms. Our tub was missing enamel. Carpet was a little dingy. The shower ran from hot(scorching)to cold then back again. 13 Channels on the tv with not much selection.

The door was hard to open from the outside and the inside. The bathtub coating was peeling badly and the shower constantly was hot or cold. The bedroom did not have a/c.

De ligging aan de boulevard tegenover het strand en in de omgeving genoeg eetgelegenheden. Een groot park dichtbij en de omgeving is erg levendig in de zomer. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en vroeg inchecken bij beschikbaarheid mogelijk. Schone beddengoed en schone handdoeken.

De kamer was niet goed schoongemaakt. De vloer gaf zwart af aan je voeten en spinnendraden boven het raam. Badkamer kan een goede schoonmaak beurt gebruiken.

The staff were very friendly, informative and helpful. The view from our room was amazing. Close to so many restaurants, pubs and a great little breakfast Cafe. Free parking. Comfortable beds. A/C ran without issues.

The water tempature would intermittently go from hot to cold when showering.

Lack of cleanliness (lots of flies/little bugs in room and bathroom corners and flying around, including a little spider going across my pillow, lack of toilet paper, shampoo and body wash were empty, shower had hair in it from previous guests, and sink drain was clogged with hair). Staff was welcoming for most part. At check out when asked about my stay I said “it was ok…” and staff abruptly said “oh” but didn’t ask for any feedback or say anything like “I’m sorry to hear that.” Really did not like that there was no “do not disturb” sign as we didn’t need our bedding changed (and had lefts things out in the room), but a cleaner entered without us knowing- we assumed because there was no doorknob sign that there would be no housekeeping for our 2 night stay. I mean I’m happy they replaced the towels but we would’ve liked the option of “don’t disturb” or “please make up room.” Pretty noisy from surrounding rooms but if the weather is nice you’re barely in the hotel room anyway

The staff were very accommodating for our stay during our trip for our pool tournament that we travelled for from North Vancouver. Very kind.

A bit aged but totally OK

When we arrived, we found the room assigned had not been made up yet. The lady on the desk managed to find us another room. While putting things away, we discovered the cupboard under the sink was full of water so we were changed to yet another room. That one was finally good other than being right under a staircase. However, we made the best of it even tho it was not the room we originally were supposed to be in.

I don't think any of your rooms should be placed under the metal stairs. When people are going up & down, it is very noisy in those lower rooms.

While it was good to not climb the stairs, the bottom floor got a lot of noise from the people upstairs. We could not see the lake from our unit either.

Nothing. The worst motel of my life.

It was filthy I even had to ask to borrow a vacuum and clean myself. My 4 year old was even disgusted. We would have left but every where else was booked up and we couldn’t go home. We barely slept for 3 days we were so uncomfortable. We actually had to book a fourth night somewhere else just to rest before going home

Very family friendly, had everything you needed and staff were wonderful.

The shower did not work and I was in a hurry so didn’t have time to ask for it to be repaired.

The location is 11/10. The motel is older but really well kept. Super clean and super friendly staff. Don’t expect brand new beds, but the pillows and duvet were new and nice.

60 to 70 years old historic establishment. It was a place to sleep over night, visit friends and see the Penticton area. Didn't have high expectations but was pleased with what we got for the night. Highly recommend to those on a budget trip to stay a night or two.

Parking is first come first served so if you can’t find spot in the front you’ll need to park at the back where you have to walk farther and a bit hassle if you have a lot of stuff to Carry

Loved that it was close to the lake walking distance to a few places.

Noisey from fellow people walking by your room kids playing and banging outside ur room and nextdoor to room.. very tight parking the overall wear on the rooms and surrounding areas are showing its age.

We loved the proximity to the beach and all the shops. Great coffee spot around the corner.

Housekeeping services were sparse, we did see them around and when we needed something they were always there to help. We only had house keeping 1/4 days we were there. It wasn't consistent. Our hotel garbage was over filled and we had to empty ourselves. We saw silver fish on the bathroom floor. The microwave was working on and off.

I really liked how clean and comfortable the stay was. And the fact that it's steps away from the lake is just amazing!

Emplacement, propreté!

The motel is located in a great location, just across from Okanagan Lake and a block or 2 from the Saturday market and downtown restaurants. Our unit had adequate furnishings, supplies and kitchen utensils. And the wifi was good.

The unit was a bit small and there wasn't a good place to socialize with friends. The bed linens for the pullout were very tired but the beds were comfortable.

Although the property was one of the older ones on Lakeshore, We found it to be well renovated and very clean. We will stay here again when visiting Penticton. P.S. Fantastic location for walking the Beachfront, Gardens, Parks, Cafes, Restaurants and of course, Breweries.

Beds were not comfortable ,water pressure was bad.

I was not expecting much; this is a very old motel, so I was presently surprised at my kitchenette, king size room. Yes, it smells a little musty, as do most old motels, but the bed was clean, the bedding comfortable, and given its location on the lakeshore, relatively quiet. There were drips of soap and conditioner running down the bathtub (so I wondered why they hadn't been cleaned--but I have see much worse--and it didn't trouble me). All in all, I would choose to stay there again.

Pillows, like a lot of places, where either huge or very hard. Get quality pillows or a variety. Also I think the HVAC system was behind my room so it had a loud hum all night long which Disturbed my sleep. Let people know this if they are sensitive to noises for sleeping.
