Sabai Sabai Beach Bungalows

The staff was friendly and helpful (Wan and PyalSong). Our cottage was just on the beach - after waking up we went straight for a swim each morning. And we fell asleep to the sound of waves. It was funky cute place. We love coconut iced coffee in the morning. It was close to the pier and village. We initially wanted to rent something on the other side of the island, but our side had calm waters and the beach had no rubbish brought by the ocean.

Der zuvorkommende Service.Alle Fragen und Wünsche wurden erfüllt.Essen war gut.Der Verleih der Roller war in der Unterkunft sehr gut,da wir vorher Probe fahren konnten. Schöne und gemütliche Sitzbereiche am Strand sowie an der Rezeption.

Wir waren dort 5 Nächte.Leider fand in dieser Zeit keine Reinigung statt, war schade war.Die Preise sind um einiges teurer als auf dem Festland. In der Nebensaison kann man sich keine Fahrräder leihen.

Prachtige locatie. Een mooi strand en goed betaalbaar. Erg vriendelijke eigenaar en fantastisch personeel! We hebben een hele leuke kookworkshop gedaan met Wann. Dank aan de fijne mensen van de receptie, die ons verblijf extra prettig maakten!

The view is to die for !

The location, on the cleanest calmest beach on the island. The beautiful staff Wan and Pyaesone made my stay so lovely. The delicious food. The comfortable cosy, clean room with magic views of the beach and sunrise.

Literally nothing. Everything was so perfect. Maybe bring earplugs as the fishing boats can be a little noisy in the morning some days.

Beachfront air conditioned bungalow

Excellent location, especially now when the low season is starting. The bungalows are right on the beach scattered around a nice Sandy garden full of plants. The beach in this area is the prettiest beach on the island. You can easily walk here from the pier. My bungalow was quite spacious and had a nice balcony with a table, chairs and a Hammock. The bed was comfortable and not too hard. The attached bathroom was excellent and so spacious. Soap, shampoo, toilet paper and towel supplied. The best thing with this place is that there are so many cozy quirky outdoor sitting areas scattered around. The WiFi works everywhere, but you have to log in to different access points. I also liked that it was a broom on the balcony so you can sweep away sand and jungly bits. There's a bar and a restaurant on site.

The WiFi is cutting off too frequently for work. The restaurant is not open on Sunday evening, and a bit of basic maintenance is needed. I could not lock my window and the mosquito net door was really hard to move. The fan in the room is not very powerful.

Mon bungalow était vraiment pas top, presque aucun rangement, le strict minimun avec vu sur la terrasse d'un autre bungalow... Les autres bungalow me paraissait bien mieux. Vu que j avais réservé pour 5 jours, ça pique un peu. Bref, c'est pas mauvais mais pas top non plus

The comfortable seats (hammocks and bean bags!) outside are amazing. Loving the shade and beautiful views. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The beach front bungalow is cute and we didn’t miss an airco.

Super Lage direkt am schönen Sandstrände. Schöne Sonnenaufgänge können von liebevoll errichteten Terrassen mit angenehmen Sitzmöglichkeiten erlebt werden. Massagen im Freien. Tolles Flair.

Wunderschöne Lage

The beach is super clean, clear water. Even though it’s right next to the pier. Which makes for very easy arrival/departure - 10 minute walk over. Its really family friendly with swings in the trees, games to play, a trampoline, kayaks and SUP boards, it’s family run and feels it. The view over to the mainland + Ko Chang is stunning. Great variety of accommodation types but overall small establishment. Great hangout chill spots (bean bags, hammocks, Sun loungers etc scattered around). Great staff. It is quiet. It’s not for someone looking for a spontaneous fire jam or party. Ideal for quiet couples and families.

Can’t complain about anything. Synthetic bed sheets is the only critique I could make, but I am hyper sensitive to fabrics. 100% cotton and it genuinely couldn’t be better for our family.

We had an amazing stay at Sabai Sabai Hotel and will definitely be coming back! Our bungalow was fantastic. Located right on the beach, just a few steps from the water. It was simple and functional, but absolutely perfect for what we needed. The veranda was a highlight, with a sunbed and a hammock where we could relax and enjoy the ocean view. The entire hotel area is beautifully natural and well-preserved, with many different spots where you can sit down, unwind, and fully take in the atmosphere and the beach. It really feels peaceful and authentic. The restaurant offers a great variety of dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. Another big plus: you can rent a scooter directly at the hotel at a fair price, which makes exploring the area super easy. A special mention goes to Wan, the host, an absolute legend! Always available, incredibly kind, and genuinely helpful with anything we needed. We felt completely at home here and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful location with lots of nice chairs and bean bags right at the water (shade and sun spots). The staff was super friendly. Overall my nicest stay in Thailand so far :)

Wir waren mit unserem Baby da. Tolles Team, Essen sehr lecker, Bungalow am Strand war soo schön, allgemein auf der ganzen Anlage die Liebe zum Detail! Für Familien top- weil der Strand auch Schatten hat. Wir haben verlängert- wie glaub ich die meisten da;)

Die Lage.

Die Lage nah am Pier, die direkte Strandlage. Ausgesprochen gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Sehr nettes Personal, die auch sehr gut englisch gesprochen haben.

Dafür kann die Unterkunft nichts, aber mein Freund wurde im Bett von einem giftigen Hundertfüßler gebissen und der Strand/das Meer war nicht immer ganz sauber, je nach Strömung. Das Personal ist aber sehr bemüht, ihn sauber zu halten.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour de 5 jours au Sabai Sabai - super accueil, personnel adorable - très bon emplacement - très bon restaurant - un séjour les pieds dans l'eau avec un service aux petits soins - location de scooter - service laverie - trampoline pour les enfants

J'ai été un peu déçu du logement car je pensais avoir réservé un logement en première ligne, nous avions pris le cottage vue mer avec 2 chambres, attention ce n'est pas adapté pour des enfants de 7 ans ou moins les escaliers sont dangereux. Je vous conseille de privilégier les logements avec climatisation et en première ligne.

Personnel adorable , emplacement magnifique sur une plage époustouflante , eau crystalline , et ambiance générale très chill , très calme et reposant . Le rêve !!

Petit hôtel type ecolodge en bord de plage. Chambre face à la mer superbe. Restaurant délicieux. Plusieurs espaces "chill" aménagés.

Wunderschöne Lage, direkt am Strand, kleine Häuschen, verteilt im Garten. Restaurant mit Rezeption, sehr leckeres Essen. Auffallend freundliche Mitarbeiter! Sprechen auch gutes Englisch, so war die Verständigung einfach.

Die Betten waren extrem hart! Andererseits ist und das in anderen thailändischen Unterkünften ebenfalls aufgefallen. Vielleicht schläft der Thailänder gerne hart …

Die Lage direkt am Strand ist super. Sehr schönes und liebevoll gestaltetes Ambiente. Viele kleine und liebevolle Elemente. Die totale Ruhe, das freundliche Personal, V. a. Wan, machen den Aufenthalt zum total entspannten Erlebnis. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Die Atmosphäre ist zwanglos.

Die Steckdosen waren ein wenig ausgeleiert, im Badezimmer gar leider keine vorhanden . Die Fenster können nicht verdunkelt werden.

We loved the boho environment and cosy setting of the whole property. Being beachfront was particularly special for us travelling with kids ( it has some swings, cosy beanbags and even a trampoline by the restaurant).We loved the breakfast options and out of all the restaurants we have visited in the island this is where we most recommend to view sun setting and enjoy the atmosphere. Staff is super nice and friendly too, and they make a point of greeting you by your name.

Mattress and bedsheets in our cottage could do with some tlc.

The remote location was exactly what we were looking for. The food was great. The crew very friendly. We fell in love with Koh Phayam also because of our stay at Sabai Sabai.

Als Bungalow war sehr schön, jedoch hätte alles etwas gepflegter sein können. Die Hängematte hat etwas muffig gerochen, die Teppiche waren nicht gewaschen und die Kissen auf den Stühlen feucht und auch nicht sehr sauber.

Lovely staff, very helpful with information for around the island. The food, drinks, cocktails and ice cream are very tasty. The accommodation is quite, cute and the rooms are unique.

There is no hot water for showers and the rooms and small.

Sabai Sabai is truly the best place on the island. A big thank you to Wan and Pissau – they made us feel genuinely welcome and very well taken care of from the very first moment. Such lovely people: never intrusive, but always helpful whenever you need anything. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere relaxed and authentic. It’s especially wonderful for families with children – calm, friendly, and comfortable. Highly recommend this place, and we hope to return one day.

We just wish we could have stayed longer :)

Absolutely charming bungalows with practically a private beach in front. The bungalows are simple but still beautifully decorated, with a nature vibe in the bathroom in particular. We really enjoyed our stay in one of the beachfront ones, with a great cozy terrace to sit on and listen to the ocean waves. The beach is not as fancy as the bigger ones on the other side of the island, but Sabai Sabai has nicelt curated their own part into a beach garden. Also kayaks and sup boards available for guests. There is excellent food in the restaurant and the staff are super helpful with all travel arrangements. Thank you all! Hope to be back!

There's a lot of trash in the sea on this side of the island, which makes swimming a bit unpleasant. This is obviously not the fault of the property owners, and they do a lot of work to keep their part of the beach clean - thank you for that!

loveliest staff, perfect location, excellent food - everything perfect

I couldn’t think of anything which wouldn’t be good. Don’t expect luxury- but it’s all so nice and absolutely sufficient. So much details, so much effort, I just loved it!

Schöne Lage direkt am Meer. Allerdings auf der Insel nicht zentral. Toll gestalteter Strandbereich und offenes kleines Restaurant. Hippie Flair und noch günstige Preise.

Wir hatten schlechtes Wetter. Dafür kann die Unterkunft natürlich nichts. Aber sie ist in den letzten Jahren so gewachsen, dass nicht alle Gäste einen Platz im Restaurant haben. Bei Regen, wenn man nicht mit dem Roller woanders hinfahren will, sehr blöd. Es gibt dann wenig Möglichkeit sich innerhalb der Unterkunft zu beschäftigen.

Wenn man am Anfang einer Reise im Sabai Sabai ist, wird man es den Rest der Reise vermissen und sich immer fragen, warum man nicht einfach dort geblieben ist. Wir waren eine Woche dort und hätten gut auch länger bleiben können. Die Lage ist toll: Nicht weit vom Pier und trotzdem super ruhig. Wir waren oft die Einzigen am Strand. Die Bungalows sind alle ganz nah am Meer und wenn man nicht einen in der ersten Reihe hat, gibt es genug gemütliche Plätze am Meer, wo man den Tag verbringen kann. Der Strand ist schön und auch für kleine Kinder gut geeignet. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr schön mit vielen Pflanzen und super gepflegt. Auch das Essen und die Getränke haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Es ist immer frisch und schön angerichtet und alles, was wir bestellt haben, hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns auch der gute Service. Das Personal war immer super freundlich und professionell, total lieb mit den Kindern und besonders Wan spricht sehr gut Englisch und hat uns das Gefühl gegeben Gäste in einem Grand Hotel zu sein. :) Wir haben eine Einstündige Bootstour mit Schnorcheln direkt vom Strand aus gemacht, das war auch sehr schön. Neben unserem Bungalow gab es morgens manchmal Nashornvögel und von Weitem haben wir auch Affen gesehen.

Die Matratze im oberen Stockwerk vom Bungalow fand ich leider sehr unbequem (hart und schwitzig), aber unten war es ok.

Ko Phayam is beautiful and Sabai Sabai is in a genuinely stunning spot to experience it. The resort itself has a natural, relaxed charm, and the location is beautiful — every morning you wake up to spectacular views in a peaceful, tropical setting. It’s also really well placed, close to lots of restaurants and bars, so you can easily wander out for food and drinks and still feel tucked away in a calm environment. Sabai Sabai was once wonderful, but it has been neglected recently, which is a shame given how much potential it still has.

The biggest improvements needed are around cleaning, comfort, safety, and housekeeping. The bed linen was poor, the pillows were hard and flat, and the mattress is hard. The curtains didn’t fit the windows, so light comes in early. The stairs up to the bathroom are dangerous, especially at night. We were also provided with just one poor quality grey towel to use for both beach and shower, which really isn’t good enough for a comfortable stay. That said, the heart of the place is the people. Wan is wonderful — warm, helpful, and genuinely caring — but it really feels like he needs more support to keep everything running at the level this resort deserves. And a special mention to Pieson, who was a great cocktail maker and added a fun, friendly touch to the evenings

Wir sind begeistert! Wunderschöne Bungalows in einem kleinen Paradies wo es und an nichts gefehlt hat. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam. Die ganze Athmosphäre ist sehr familiär und locker. Die Anlage und der private Strand wird regelmässig gesäubert. Es hat diverse Chill-Ecken draussen und drinnen (Überdachung). Das Essen und die Drinks waren immer sehr lecker. Wir konnten einen Roller direkt vor Ort mieten. Wir kommen wieder! 😊🌴😍

Nur ein Tipp: In manchen Bungalows gibt es nur Kaltwasser. Wer also nicht kalt duschen möchte, sollte das abchecken bevor man bucht.

J'aurais aimé savoir qu'il n'y a pas d'eau chaude

Emplacement de reve. Face a la mer. Bungalow presque dans l'eau. Confort convenable . Situé pas loin du centre. Ideal pour une semaine calme et intense. Visite de l'ile en moto possible. Meme a pied pour les bons marcheurs ( en saison basse - novembre). Peu de restaurant ouvert !! A chercher !! Possible sur place .

Absolut empfehlenswert! Die Bungalowanlage ist einfach traumhaft. Das Ambiente mit den vielen Palmen sorgt sofort für Urlaubsfeeling und völlige Entspannung. Alle Mitarbeiter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam, man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Hier kann man wirklich alle Sorgen und den beruflichen Alltag hinter sich lassen. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

Einfache aber liebevoll gestaltete Anlage nahe dem Dorf in Koh Phayam. Gastgeber Wan ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Strand ist klein, im Vergleich zur Long Beach und Buffalo Bay, aber trotzdem sehr nett.

Habe noch nie eine so wunderschöne nachhaltige Anlage in Thailand erlebt. Günstige Hütten mit einigen tierischen Mitbewohern, weil direkte Nähe zum Meer und zum Dschungel. Aber der Mensch dringt in ihren Lebensraum ein, da muss man damit klar kommen

Bungalows am Strand, gutes Essen

gebuchter Familienbungalow in die Jahre gekommen. Durften wegen Hochwasser-Gefahr im Bungalow in einen auf Pfählen gebauten wechseln. Wan ist ein sehr engagierter Host!

The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The food is so delicious we took every meal at the restaurant. The location is perfect. Overall an incredible stay! Lots of cozy places to enjoy the beach and the ocean is perfect for a swim.

Die Unterkunft ist so nah am Meer wie keine die wir vorher hatten. Das Resprt ist liebevoll individuell gestaltet und man kann sowohl den Platz vor dem Bungalow, wie auch den Rest der Anlage nutzen. Das Bungalow ist cool eingerichtet.

Eine super entspannte Unterkunft mit sehr netten Personal! Wir haben die Speisekarte einmal hoch und runter probiert. Einfach nur köstlich:)
