Vijit Bungalow

We where here in the low season, but we where blessed with many sunny days so we stayed here for two weeks. The vibe was chill, we almost had the beach for ourself. Beautiful beach where you can discover many things in one place. The best beach to stay on the island. The staff where helpful and attentive the room lot of space with children. The bed is really good (thai standard). We stayed next to the beach. beautiful place, beautiful people.

nothing but nightmare....！！！ all insects inside the room from screen door gap at night, terrible hundreds of that little things

they have no hot water no air conditioner, no refrigerator, no drinking water even u pay for except $100 bath for refrigerator that I did & $30 bath for drinking water. every single thing counting on money.....add on....

En une semaine alors que je faisais un long séjour, le personnel du restaurant m’a servi 3 fois des choses pas acceptable (salade de fruit à 180 bath que des bananes sous le yaourt ; un autre jour , ananas pourris je le signale gentiment (même si j’ai pas apprécier de me taper une acidité au pdj, le serveur me le change par la même chose, je le rappelle et lui demande de goûter et à nouveau il m a dit pour la 3eme fois « si tu n’es pas content t’as qu’à aller manger ailleurs » sachant qu hors saison il vous faut marcher 30 minutes pour aller au prochain restaurant. Et biensur ils vous font payer ses plats immangeable ! Ce n’est pas acceptable de se faire parler comme ça ! Booking devrait avoir un service qualité qui audite les hôtels ! L’emplacement est bien, il ne faut pas avoir peur des chauves souries qui vivent par centaines dans les arbres de l hôtel. Ce qui fait pas mal de bruit la nuit .

Traumhaft schöne Lage direkt am buffalo beach ..die cottages in ersten Reihe sind gut...es kamen einige nette tierchen ins Badezimmer da nach oben offen...ratten.riesengeckos ...heiss u trinkwasser steht zur freien Entnahme...

Reinigung erfolgt nur bei Anfrage....Lärmbelästigung durch einfahrende scooter u teils von Touristen erzeugt laute music...da wäre es Aufgabe der Besitzer dies zu ändern....

La ubicación en la mejor playa de la isla, justo en frente del mar. Los empleados buenisimos, siemprw dispuestos a ayudar. El restaurant estaba muy bien, un poco más caro que los otros, pero eso siempre es de esperar en un restaurante con vista al mar.

Al bungalow le faltaba un poco de mantenimiento.

Zonder airconditioning wordt de bungalow in de maand APRIl eigenlijk te warm. Slapen wordt erg moeilijk met alleen een ventilator...

L'emplacement est incroyable, dans une jolie forêt bien entretenue qui borde la plus belle plage de l'île. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour et nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans ce petit coin de paradis.

Oui les bungalows sont simples, ou de qualité inégale, parfois pas de fenêtre en verre mais des volets. Oui il fait chaud la journée et on ne peux pas rester à l'intérieur, mais cela vaut totalement la peine, pour être à cet emplacement magnifique.

It is an excellent place to stay—peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful beach and reasonable prices. It’s truly perfect for a relaxing getaway. The owner is very friendly and extremely helpful.

However, the bed could use improvement. It’s a spring mattress and the quality is no longer good, making it uncomfortable to sleep.

Close to the Beach

The accommodation claims on its website that there is Wi-Fi in every room. Unfortunately, this is not true. Wi-Fi is only available at the reception. Please update this information!

La situación del hotel es perfecta. La playa es tranquila y muy bonita lejos de la agitación de Longbeach. Tienen hamacas en los árboles. El restaurante está muy bien.

La habitación familiar era horrible. Sin aire acondicionado las noches fueron terribles. Había mosquiteras para dejar abiertas las ventanas pero aún así el calor era insoportable. El baño y la ducha juntos dejaba el suelo del baño encharcado todo el día.

Der über booking.com gebuchte Bungalow stand weiter hinten und heizte sich extrem auf. Es war wie in der Sauna.

Direkt am Strand, ruhig, sehr nettes Personal, Roller-Verleih, auffüllen von Trinkwasser möglich, Handtuch für den Strand, Zahnbürste und Duschgel

Die Matratze war grässlich und müsste ausgetauscht werden. Sehr warm im Garten Bungalow

Einer der außergewöhnlichsten Orte an denen wir je übernachtet haben. Der Bungalow war geschmackvoll eingerichtet (und der neueste/teuerste auf der Anlage?) und Meerblick war nicht übertreiben: Das Meer war direkt vor der Haustür! Schwimmen gehen oder nicht ist sehr Gezeiten abhängig... Flut gab es bei uns gegen 11:00 und 23:00 und in den Stunden drum herum. Bei Ebbe konnte man einige hundert Meter weit gehen ohne nennenswert tief im Wasser zu stehen. Das Watt mit seinen unzähligen kleinen Krabben, Einsiedlerkrebsen, Sand Dollars, Schlammspringern, ... war absolut faszinierend. "Spielverderber" wie Sandfliegen oder Quallen gab es keine. Der Sand ist weiß und weich, der Strand sehr gepflegt und sauber, nicht zuletzt weil er jeden Tag von Laub befreit wird. Ich laufe normalerweise nicht gerne barfuß - dort hatte ich plötzlich das Gefühl, dass Schuhe eine vollkommen unnötige Erfindung sind.. Die Anlage ist sehr naturnah, es gibt neben Meeresgetier auch Eichhörnchen, Geckos, Beos, Flughunde,... wunderschön! Staff war auch super-nett und zuvorkommend. Die Dusche hatte keine Kabine (Thai-Standard?), aber zumindest in unserem Bungalow heißes Wasser. Klimaanlage gab es keine, aber die Temperaturen waren in Ordnung und wir konnten auch nachts gut schlafen.

Oh, das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau. Ein Wasserkocher wäre schön gewesen, aber ich glaube mit der Stromspannung auf der Insel ist das vielleicht nicht so einfach. Ein Safe wäre praktisch gewesen, aber eigentlich fühlt es sich sicher an. Winzig kleine Ameisen haben es geschafft, in meine verschlossenene Packung mit getrockneten Mangos zu kommen. (Houdini -Ameisen?), da musste ich die Mangos "leider" essen statt sie mit nach Hause zu bringen. Aus der Ferne hat man nachts ein wenig Party-Musik gehört, ich glaube aber, es ist trotzdem der ruhigere Part der Insel. Und hat es wirklich gut gefallen!

Die Lage direkt am Strand.

Unser Bungalow mit Blick zum Meer war paradiesisch. Es wurde jeden Tag geharkt, der Strand war immer sauber. Wir konnten kostenlos Wasser trinken und neue Handtücher ordern. Auch Motorbikes konnten wir direkt dort ausleihen. Auch Kayaks hätte man sich dort buchen können. Man konnte sich die Getränke und das Essen auch direkt ins Bungalow bringen lassen. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis hat gepasst.

Das Personal hätte etwas freundlicher auftreten können. Die Dame war etwas reserviert. Das Essensangebot war durchwachsen. Wir haben nicht immer dort gegessen. Die Bungalows weiter hinten im Garten haben eine ungünstige Lage, da es dort etwas lauter ist (Flughunde) und auch die Sauberkeit müsste dort besser sein. Das WLAN ist nicht stark genug und sehr langsam, wenn man direkt im Bungalow Internet benutzt.

The location is amazing, directly on a white beach which is not overcrowded and clean. The public areas are also very nice. You can also rent kayaks cheaply to explore the coast and rivers with mangrove forests.

The family room was quite dark and the rooms are not "closed", insects can come in easily, especially in the bathroom. Generally was the room pretty basic but the location in the real selling point and with the beach so close you are not gonna spend much time indoors anyway and insects are pretty much unavoidable.

Bei Ebbe kann man nicht baden! Man muss ca 1km rauslaufen! Unser Bungalow stand den ganzen Tag in der Sonne und das bei 34 Grad und ohne Klimaanlage!

We had a wonderful stay at Visit, the location was perfect on a quiet white sandy beach. the bungalow are big but no air con so was quite hot but I can understand as the island is quite eco ish and I totally understand not having aircon. The restaurant was right on the beach with a fantastic view. Hopefully we will be back next year!

The mattress could do with replacing or a quality topper being put on. It was quite soft and the springs could be felt. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room.

Le matelas dont on sentait les resorts et le drap qui tenait mal sur ce matelas, la couverture un peu petites pour deux personnes , mais nous en avons demandé une supplémentaire et c était très bien. On nous a changé de bungalow en cours de séjour.

I really liked the vibe - friendly stuff, amazing location to take long beachwalks early in the morning. My favourite spot on the island. I had the simple room but had a good sleep there and big thanks for the hammock on the balcony, I could just stay there for way longer then planned. I liked that instead of offering water in plastic bottles, they had refilling option available and that you can choose toiletries you actually need. I especially liked their restaurant - good vegetarian options available with many vegetables in curry (not so common on the island!) Springrolls were also really nice and tasty and fresh. I liked that instead of taking out something for vegetarians, the menu was build up logically: first vegetarian version and then you can add extras, so vegetarian gets also full portion. Good food quality - portion and price ratio.

The location directly on the beach is great! And it’s nice that they’ve a beach front restaurant as well.

The garden is unkept and neglected and it’s a shame, since it could be such a nice place so close on the beach. To say that my bungalow was very basic is actually an overstatement. Bed was old and uncomfortable, water pressure in the shower not existent and it was nearly impossible to get the shampoo out of the hair - in desperation I ended up using the hose from the toilet. The bungalow has no windows or any kind of mosquitoe net on them windows to keep the insects out and everything is old and not in good shape.

Great place to stay. The location is beautiful and very quiet, perfect for relaxing. The bungalows are simple but cozy and comfortable. Food was really good, both breakfast and lunch. The staff was amazing – very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again.

Buffalo Bay ist eine fantastische Bucht und die Bungalows direkt am Strand waren fantastisch.

Ich hätte mir ein zusätzliches Regal gewünscht

Der Bungalow ist für einen Strandbungalow ungewöhnlich groß und wirkt teilweise noch relativ neu. Für Anfang Jänner in der Hauptsaison ist der Preis sehr fair. Die Lage ist hervorragend, der Strand ist aus unserer Sicht einer der schönsten auf Koh Phayam. Die Bewirtschaftung insgesamt ist gut organisiert und freundlich. Im Vergleich zu unserem letzten Aufenthalt vor acht Jahren hat sich die Anlage deutlich weiterentwickelt, was man für Inselverhältnisse fast schon als Luxus bezeichnen kann. Die Handtücher sind zwar schon etwas älter, aber angenehm weich. An der Rezeption kann man sich bei Bedarf Duschgel, Seife, Zahnbürste, Wattestäbchen und Klopapier holen. Zusätzlich gibt es vorne einen Wasserspender mit Bechern. Insgesamt passt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für diese Insel und diese Lage.

Das größte Manko ist die extreme Lärmbelastung durch Mopeds. Es gibt zwar einen ausgewiesenen Motorradparkplatz, dieser wird jedoch praktisch nicht genutzt. Stattdessen fahren alle Gäste direkt mit dem Motorrad bis zu ihren Bungalows. Da unser Bungalow der erste am Hauptweg ist, bekommt man wirklich jedes einzelne Motorrad mit – nicht nur vereinzelt, sondern durchgehend, oft bis spät in die Nacht. Hier fehlt jegliche Regulierung, etwa durch eine Schranke, klare Regeln oder Einschränkungen auf Personal und Leihmotorräder. Das ist aus unserer Sicht ein klares Versäumnis des Betreibers und beeinträchtigt den Aufenthalt massiv. Zusätzlich sind die Bungalows extrem hellhörig, es gibt kaum Geräuschdämmung. Eine Nacht waren Tiere im Dach zu hören, was sehr laut war. Der Bungalow wirkt zwar teilweise neu, weist aber bereits Risse auf, durch die Sonnenlicht eindringt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr einfach, wie auf der Insel üblich. Es gibt nur kaltes Wasser, und der Wasserdruck der Dusche ist so gering, dass man faktisch besser die WC-Dusche benutzt, um sich zu waschen. Die Abflüsse sind einfache Öffnungen nach außen, wodurch viele Tiere ins Badezimmer gelangen. Ohne Kühlschrank oder Stauraum ist es schwierig, Snacks oder Früchte aufzubewahren. Im Zimmer selbst ist bei Ankunft lediglich Klopapier vorhanden, alles Weitere muss man sich erst an der Rezeption holen. Beim Wasserspender fehlen gelegentlich Becher, und eigene Flaschen sollen dort nicht befüllt werden.

Die super Lage der Anlage, und die Lage der Strandbungalows. Das schöne Restaurant am Strand. Bei Ebbe kann man endlos am Strand langlaufen,bei Flut super zum Baden,auch gut geeignet für Kinder.

Im Bungalow 2 könnte das Bad renoviert werden.

Das Personal war sehr bemüht.

Die Chefin und der Chef waren nicht so freundlich. Bei der „Sammelrechnung“ muss man gut aufpassen, dass nicht Zuviel draufsteht. Spricht man dies an, wird dies mit Zähneknirschen hingenommen. Möchte man Roller für einen längeren Zeitraum mieten, so kommt man hier preislich auch nicht entgegen. Man möchte eher schnelles Geld machen, als seinen Gästen einen unvergesslichen Urlaub zu ermöglichen. Leider schade.

Le bungalow est juste super bien placé. La plage juste devant est superbe . Le restaurant a une très belle vue également . La location de scooter sur place est très pratique

L'emplacement et l'accueil. La rusticité et l'authenticité de cet endroit. Cette plage. Notre bungalow était sommaire et pas très grand, avec le strict minimum nécessaire : ventilateur et moustiquaire (très utile). Pas de clim, Pas d'eau chaude. Lit confortable.

Rien, L'absence de clim ne nous a pas dérangées car il ne faisait pas très chaud et le ventilateur était amplement suffisant. En revanche, un peu d'eau chaude aurait été la bienvenue :)
