Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Hospitality at its best. We were welcomed at the parking and directly escorted to our room. We had one of the little houses which I highly recommend to anyone to book. Spacious and bright. Dinner was proposed which we gladly accepted and enjoyed. Location is top, only five minutes walking to the old town and the market. PS: a special thank you to little Hugo for accommodating us during dinner.

Nous avons fait plusieurs excursions magnifiques depuis l’hôtel ,qu’ils ont organisées pour nous , y compris des balades à pieds dans la ville et sur les hauteurs . Une superbe expérience

L’isolation phonique. On entend les voisins comme s’ils sont dans la chambre. Le petit est minimaliste.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay. The hotel did not seem to care about basic cleanliness or guest comfort. The room felt more like a very cheap motel than a proper hotel room. The towels were old, worn out, and had an unpleasant smell, to the point that we ended up using the towels we brought ourselves. The sinks were clogged, and during our showers the water suddenly stopped running. Even the bottled water provided in the room did not appear properly sealed, which made us uncomfortable drinking it. Overall, nothing in the room met even basic standards, and the experience was far below what we expected.

Three things. 1. There is a big building being built right in front of the cliffside house. There was a lot of noise and the views are now not great from the mountain view room. 2. Breakfast was terrible. The choice was poor, the bread was like dry wood and the only thing fresh was a fried egg. 3. A balcony with 2 seats would be good.

Reviewed Mar 19, 2026Set on a hill into the cliff face above the karaoke fray of old town (but not so far away that a walk there is impossible--though uphill back), the guest house has excellent bungalows with a view of the valley from their large windows. The water is very hot, as is the WiFi. The family running the place are friendly and helpful and treat you like friends, especially their friendly dog and cat, who will immediately adopt you. If you have mobility issues, this is not your spot, as there are many irregularly shaped stone steps on the property. Breakfast is good and so was our dinner. They even serve various wines by the glass.
It's a shame a new tall hotel is going up virtually in front of the property, so there is construction noise and the pristine views are being ruined. Price is also a little high compared to similar Loop hotels, but you pay for solitude.

Pas d'accueil, peut etre la barrière de la langue ! Aussi il y a pas mal de marches pour accéder aux chambres et au restaurant et, lorsqu’il pleut, elles deviennent glissantes. Cela peut être compliqué pour les personnes âgées ou ayant des difficultés à se déplacer.

Cách âm quá tệ. Giá phòng cũng khá đắt Món ăn sáng khá tệ, ít món, được món bánh chuối ngon. Phomai bị mốc dù còn hạn sử dụng.

Reviewed Dec 31, 2025Im Rahmen unseres Ha Giang Loops haben wir dort geschlafen. Die Lage ist sehr gut, da man die Stadt fußläufig erreichen kann. Auch ausreichend Parkplätze für die Motorräder sind gegeben.
Ich bin kein Freund davon, dass Vögel unnötig in kleinen Käfigen gefangen sind.

Colazione un pò da rivedere, ma le cose che c'erano erano buone. Il bagno ha bisogno di una pulizia più approfondita nella doccia. Tanti gradini per raggiungere le stanze, se si hanno bagagli pesanti si fa fatica

Reviewed Dec 9, 2025Le logement est très bien situé si vous faites le Ha Giang loop à moto en 2 jours sans guide comme nous l'avons fait. L'accès est facile, ça se situe un peu en hauteur par rapport au centre de la petite ville. Parking aisé pour la moto. Nous avions un "bungalow Deluxe" qui était très spacieux avec un petit coin salon. Je pense que c'est le lit le plus confortable que nous ayons eu durant notre séjour dans le Nord du Vietnam. Le petit déjeuner était vraiment chouette et très copieux. Ils proposent aussi des massages que mon compagnon a pu tester. La dame est venue directement dans la chambre et le massage était de qualité. Les hôtes sont sympathiques et l'ambiance est chaleureuse. La salle à manger me faisait un peu penser à un chalet de montagne. Il est très facile d'accéder à pied au vieux centre de Dong Van pour aller manger le soir.
