A fantastic place. Deep relaxation in the shade of palm trees and silence. The staff was very helpful, and the atmosphere was very family-like.

Wat een fantastische plek! Ik had een bungalow met uitzicht op zee en heb zó genoten dat ik mijn verblijf zelfs heb verlengd. De locatie is prachtig: wakker worden met uitzicht op de zee en de rust om je heen is echt onbetaalbaar. Maar wat deze plek echt bijzonder maakt, zijn de mensen die er werken. Iedereen is ontzettend lief, behulpzaam en zorgt ervoor dat je je meteen welkom voelt. Je merkt dat ze echt hun best doen om je verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. Ik zou hier zonder twijfel opnieuw verblijven en kan Mangrove Beach Resort aan iedereen aanraden die op zoek is naar een mooie, rustige plek met een warme, persoonlijke sfeer. Bedankt voor alles! ❤️

Le personnel est vraiement très gentil. Attention aux moustiques dans la chambre même si il y a une moustiquaire. Le restaurant est très bon et l'endroit est parfait pour se détendre ! En plus, il y a plein de chats et chiens super mignons :)

The whole setting of the bungalows in the green surrounding is beautiful. Good food. We stayed for 3 nights. Walk from soon noeng pier is fine at 10-15 minutes. The hotel is also called Dolphin bay. Nice places to sit overlooking the bay. We would recommend it!

It was quite basic with fan and cold shower, but really that is good enough. Walk to sunset or lazy beach is quite an effort in the heat ;)

We had an amazing stay at Mangrove Bungalow Beach on Saracen Bay! The location is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, relaxing, and just steps away from the crystal-clear water and white sand beach. The bungalows were clean, comfortable, and perfect for enjoying the island atmosphere. What really made our experience special was the kindness and hospitality of the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were especially impressed because after we left, we realized we had forgotten a swimsuit at the hotel. The team was kind enough to send it to us, which we truly appreciated. We highly recommend Mangrove Bungalow Beach to anyone visiting Saracen Bay and would happily stay there again!

La struttura è molto basica ma carina, si sta bene. Il ristorante ha un buon cibo a prezzi ragionevoli (sull'isola considerate tutto più costoso), la grigliata sulla spiaggia tutti i giorni, impagabile! Portate antizanzare forte, necessario per la sopravvivenza.

È lontana dal resto delle strutture, più tranquilla, che nel mio caso, apprezzatissimo. Si perde in piccoli dettagli, tipo la porta del bagno senza maniglia che non si può chiudere.

Il n’y a pas de fenêtre dans la chambre, le matelas est inexistant, le sol est constitué de planches avec plusieurs centimètres écarts entre chaque donnant sur le sol.

I stayed at Mangrove for 4 nights in March 2026 and I enjoyed it so much. The accommodation was excellent. My bungalow was a good size and had a balcony overlooking the ocean, which made it a really relaxing place to stay. The shower was cold, but powerful and the bed was large and extremely comfortable! Breakfasts and dinners was fantastic and very well priced, which made the stay even better value for money. What really made the experience special, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, always smiling, and genuinely welcoming throughout my stay. A special mention must also go to the manager, who was absolutely fantastic and couldn’t do enough to help. From arranging transport and trips to offering recommendations and helping organise my onward travel, the level of care and service was exceptional. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this property more highly. If you’re visiting Koh Rong Sanloem and looking for somewhere comfortable,relaxing, and great value with wonderful staff, this is a fantastic place to stay. I would happily return

Le personnel a été très chaleureux tout le long du séjour. Nous avons pu passer de bons moments avec les enfants et les animaux. Le cadre est idyllique, la nourriture est vraiment bonne. Tout ça avec un prix très compétitif. De plus, ils parlent bien anglais et nous ont aidé pour la réservation du bateau.

Attention, pas d’eau chaude (même si pas dérangeant) et pas de wifi dans les chambres.

The staff were really nice and very accommodating throughout our stay. The restaurant on site was brilliant, and it’s actually really useful because the hotel is quite far away from the main area.

The beach was quite scruffy and the rooms felt run down. 30 minute walk to main beach. We were told we got an upgrade but when we got into the room it wasn’t clear at all if we actually had. There were geckos in the room and quite large gaps/holes in the walls (I know it’s a bungalow, but they were quite big). The restaurant also had lots of animals (cats and dogs) roaming around while you eat—staff didn’t move them away, and at one point we had about 5 dogs around us whilst eating which wasn’t ideal. This might not bother everyone, but it wasn’t comfortable for us.

“Villaen” levede på ingen måde op til forventningerne. Vi betalte ekstra for at bo der, men det virkede som om, den ikke var færdigbygget. Man kunne ikke lukke dørene ordentligt, der var to gange dyrelort i vores seng (vi fik dog skiftet sengetøj), lort ved vores bagage. Hullet og beskidt myggenet. Badeværelset var ulækkert: toiletbrættet sad ikke på, var plettet med noget mørkt, der var slidte skuesvampe, der bare lå, et helt beskidt spejl og det dryppede fra alting. Døren til toilettet var næsten umulig at åbne/lukke. Alt i alt en ikke god oplevelse - book et andet sted, eller i hvert fald ikke upgrade til villaen/triangle house. Stor skuffelse. Og hvis du ikke kan lide gekkoer og edderkopper omkring din seng, så skal du ikke bo her :-)

Bungalows in a quiet spot of the beach. 20-30min walk to the ”main” area. 60min walk to the Lazy beach. The staff was really friendly and nice. They helped me with everything. Restaurant is great. Lovely animals around. If you are looking for a 5* hotel stay this is not your place. Bungalows are basic with a terrace and a hammock. Bring mosquito spray & earplugs.

Panne électricité donc pas de ventilation ou de climatison. trop excentré, une piscine trouble donc impraticable pour des raisons sanitaires.

Nous avons adoré notre nuit ici. Les chambres sont simples mais nous le savions en réservant donc aucune mauvaise surprise de ce côté ! La nourriture au restaurant est excellente. Staff adorables. Localisation incroyable ☺️

Nous regrettons de ne pas être restés plus longtemps...

Un accueil des responsables d'établissement pas du tout chaleureux Des Bungalows pas propres, des cafards parce que trop d'ouvertures au sol et sur les murs.et pas d'eau chaude..même si cela est moindre mal en fonction de la chaleur et surtout le prix n'est pas adapté, car pour le même prix des bungalows à côté bien plus agréables et propres..

Le coin plage était vraiment chouette, le plus cosy et agréable de la plage selon nous. Les plats et menus étaient bons, le personnel sympathique

La chambre et salle de bain étaient décevants par rapport aux photos, nous nous attendions à plus de qualité

Całkiem fajny bungalow w spokojniejszej części Saracen Bay. Przestronny pokój, czysty, moskitiery nad łóżkiem. Personel bardzo miły i pomocny. Można płacić kartą. W czasie mojego pobytu na terenie hotelu było całe stadko szczeniaków, więc musiałam uważać na swoje rzeczy, bo wszystko próbowały obgryzać, ale nie uważam tego za minus :)

Расположение. Рядом с морем. Домики неплохие внешне. Есть гамак. В целом нормально. Мебель и розетки были.

Интернет в номере практически мёртвый. Нужно идти в бар. В номере отсутствовали тапочки одноразовые , чайник , в душе только холодная вода. 1 полотенце не первой свежести. Дверь сама захлопывалась. Наклон пола и чего... Перед пляжем отеля немного неубранно. Лучше загорать на соседних пляжах.

Endroit magnifique. Sable blanc, eau turquoise.. le p'tit déj les pieds dans le sable. Bungalows espacés les uns des autres dans un cadre fleuri. Personnel très serviable et souriant. Cuisine simple et bon marché.

Il manque au moins une chaise et banc pour poser les sacs et vêtements dans le bungalow.

Quasi rien

Nous avons attendu 40 MNS pour que quelqu'un vienne nous chercher à l'embarcadère. A l'arrivée, on nous a demandé de payer 5 dollars de + par nuit que le prix booking. La chambre était vétuste, les fenêtres ne fermaient pas, la serrure de la porte ne fonctionnait pas bien, la salle de bain était minuscule et délabrée. Les ventilateurs étaient bruyants. Le prix est bien trop élevé pour cet établissement qui a très mal vieilli et qui est excentré.

la gentillesse des patrons, le coté pratique pour les réservations de bus l’emplacement au bout de la baie (500 m de l’hôtel, si vous êtes chargé ils viennent vous chercher,le restaurant, la terrasse avec le bar tout cela est très joli,

pas d’eau chaude dans les bungalow, mais c’est pas trop gênant -par contre attention aux puces de sable sur l’île de koh rong, éviter de vous allonger trop longtemps sur le sable bien sûr ce n’est en aucun cas la faute de l’établissement

All the staff were friendly and welcoming - a real family atmosphere. The food and drinks were great value. The bed was comfortable.

The bungalows could do with a little TLC, but was very cosy and comfortable.

On vient ici pour l'emplacement et l'ambiance très sympathique.

Les propriétaires assez faux...., cupides !! La bière en boîte à 4 dollars, 2 ailleurs. Réservé avec eux une journée de snorking, fishing pour 20 dollars. Les autres personnes du groupe n'ont payé que 18. Bref, contente de partie au bout de deux jours pour réserver ailleurs ! Avis bon pour le personnel mais pas pour les proprios !

We had wonderful, peaceful and chill days there. They have a beautiful common area with chairs and hammocks to relax, beside the beautiful view. The price for the bungalow is fair and it was clean. The restaurant has fair price, tasteful food and good service.

Nothing to claim. It was perfect.

Die Location ist idyllisch gelegen. Das Personal war freundlich hat uns geholfen unser Gepäck von der vorangegangenen Unterkunft und zum Pier zu Transportieren.

Was uns überhaupt nicht gefallen hat ist, dass der Bungalow solch große Spalte zwischen den Holzwänden hat, dass verschiedene Tiere hindurch passen. Nachts hatten wir Besuch von einem Nagetier, vermutlich einer Ratte, die unsere verpackten Lebensmittel und unseren Rucksack angenagt hat und den Inhalt des WC Mülleimer im ganzen Bad verteilt hat. Der Zustand des Bungalow ist allgemein schlecht gewartet. Das Fenster hing nur noch an einem Scharnier, die Tür quietscht schrecklich beim Öffnen und Schließen.

Personál byl neuvěřitelně milý a ochotný. Lokalita nebyla špatná, ale pláž kde by se dalo lehnout nebo si vytahnout lehátka nikde nebyla. Moc dobrá kuchyně, vaří opravdu výborně.

Na pokoji nám běhala krysa, každý den, každou noc. Na pokoji nebyla žádná skříň ani polička, takže jsme věci měli rozložené na zemi a pokaždé v nich byl trus a moč od krysy. Ještěrky a šváby v koupelně byly jen milé zpestření. Teče jen studená voda, a záchod má v případě deště problém s odtokem.

Un bel endroit pour se reposer après avoir traversé le Cambodge du nord au sud Un bungalow un peu rudimentaire mais on le savait en réservant donc pas de mauvaise surprise ...un environnement tres agréable bien aménagé bien arboré et fleuri bien entretenu Le restaurant sur place est un plus agréable avec une carte bien fournie y compris pour les petits dej et .....les coktails .. Un personnel prévenant et souriant Et pour ceux qui aiment les animaux de nombreux chats et chiens très adeptes de calin

La salle de bain du bungalow aurait mérité un petit coup de neuf

The fact it's on the end of Saracen Bay, it's a quiet and beautiful location. Dan, Sam and Gabriel where extremely helpful as was the other staff. There was a really good vibe my entire stay.

I came here for a peaceful, quiet time but it was ruined by constant electronic music pumping from neighbouring bars all day and all night. Also, they sold me a $5 boat ticket to M'Pai Bay for $10 (100% mark up - daylight robbery!) It's only $5 all the way to Koh Rong! I contacted them about it but they ignored all of my messages. P.S. Saracen beach is covered in garbage.
